Momofuku Noodle Bar Uptown New York Reviews from The Last Year
Staff is friendly and efficient.
Had the chicken ramen. Ramen was flavorful and delicious.
We had a lovely lunch here.
In an out of the way alcove of the mall, this place is on the third floor. We shared the shrimp buns, the kimchi and the ginger scallion noodles. All was great. I would easily go back.
Been wanting to try this place out for a couple of months
Been wanting to try this place out for a couple of months now because of all the momofuku hype! Would definitely recommend making a reservation, I came on a Thursday night with a party of 3 and all tables were reserved (got a bar seat tho!). We got several items that varied in quality: Mushroom Ramen (3.5/5): decent ramen, honestly nothing too special, noodles were well cooked, broth was seasoned enough, not enough toppings for how much the base ramen cost in my opinion, an egg should not have to cost extra for a $20+ bowl of ramen Cumin Beef Noodle (5/5): best dish out of the 4 we got, the beef was so flavorful and not at all chewy, the dish was a perfect balance of sweet, savory, and spicy, celery added a great crunch Ginger Scallion Noodle (4/5): enjoyed this dish overall, had a fresh grassy sweet taste, very diverse texturally, I enjoyed it but felt like it needed something savory to balance out the flavors Shiitake Bun (5/5): this app was fire, If you get anything, definitely try one of the buns-- the bread is so pillowy soft and the mushrooms had such impressive crunch I thoroughly enjoyed this
We loved the fresh yet spicy flavors across the board.
Shrimp buns were outrageous, hamachi crudo was devine, and the cumin spiced beef right on point. The house made kimchi took it all up a notch. And a cool vibe with great service!!
Excellent food and service!! Will definitely go back next

We had a cozy dinner here ~ the menu is quick and simple offering delicious ramen and noodles. We also loved the sesame chocolate chip cookies. Everything came out quickly and staff was so friendly. Find them in the third floor of The Shops at Columbus Circle.

Momofuku Noodle Bar is located on the third floor of the Columbus Circle Mall. This was the first restaurant we made a stop at during our trip to New York City. Despite it being a weekday (Wednesday), reservations were required. We were able to secure our spot for 2 at the 3 PM time slot. Luckily, we did not have to wait and were promptly seated at one of the tables by the bar. Momofuku is definitely a name that attracts people when it comes to ramen. The restaurant itself had a very contemporary design with light wood and modern lighting fixtures, which is perfect for the location in Columbus Circle. The noodle menu is pretty straight forward, with more of a focus being placed on the variety of bao buns, fried chicken, and other items being offered. Given the fact that it started snowing very hard upon getting to Columbus Circle, a warm bowl of ramen was definitely warranted. There was a very interesting ramen of the day that we passed on (white truffle ramen, which I believe was $60). We opted to keep it simple with the Garlic Chicken Ramen ($20, baby bok choy, poached egg) and the Smoked Pork Ramen ($21, pork belly, poached egg, bamboo). My fiancée's Smoked Pork Ramen had a slight kick to it, and my Garlic Chicken Ramen was garlic forward (go figure, but definitely not overpowering, and neither was the smoke or spice on the Pork Ramen). The portions were also a good size. We left Momofuku Noodle Bar full and continued to walk around the mall. I wish more variety was included in their noodles/ramen menu, but everything was certainly delicious. Given the smaller field of competition, they would do really good in South Florida-- a logical place for them to expand. Regardless, we'll have to take a hard look at Momofuku vs. other ramen spots in the city next time we are here.
Given the name @momofukunoodlebar I should have started
Given the name @momofukunoodlebar I should have started with the Smoked Pork Ramen but the Pork Belly Buns were just too goo. Insta: @thehungrysw
I may not have ordered the best dishes but I found the food
I may not have ordered the best dishes but I found the food bland and lacking flavor. The spicy cucumber salad consisted of big chunks of cucumber lightly marinated and covered with a powdery peanut/chili combination. It was edible but bland, even with the topping. The pork buns were inundated with what tasted like a hoisin sauce I might buy at the supermarket (the pork bellies were good though) and priced at $16 for two buns. The biggest disappointment was the ginger scallion noodles which had a taste that could charitably be described as subtle. On top of little to no flavor the noodles were pasty. These three dishes plus one can of beer cost $61. Just MHO. Service and ambiance were fine.

The site doesn't have resources to properly execute a reservation transfer. Some places allow it however the best bet is to open a chat on the listing from the seller and communicate there

Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
