The administration is inactive - the staff is not working.
Hello. On May 22, 2024, my family and I checked into the loulou beach resort. This is our second stay at this hotel. The first was a long time ago and it is clear that the conditions and rules have changed, not for the better. Family of 4 people and 2 rooms. We came to celebrate our birthday. My tour operator notified the hotel the day before by letter about our wishes for check-in. We need Connected Rooms. This is where the number is between two standard rooms. We were not accommodated in such a room; as a result, our rooms are far from each other. The room is dirty, the towels in the room are very dirty and unusable. The request to replace them was also not heard. The request to sort out the situation with our tour operator also did not lead to anything. The towels were not replaced, we live in the same place. The photo is attached. Today is my birthday and it’s very unpleasant that on the eve of the holiday the hotel is not ready to receive guests and does not fulfill the basic check-in requirements that were voiced to them even before our arrival by the tour operator in a letter. Otherwise, the staff is not friendly, not smiling and not committed to ensuring a comfortable stay for their guests. It’s more like he’s ready to convince everyone of some illegal actions. For example, upon entering the restaurant at the first breakfast, I was not greeted with a smile and a wish of GOOD MORNING and congratulations on my birthday, but was asked to leave my bag (a shopper with a case with a phone number and a card for the room). This action violates my rights and humiliates me as a guest of this hotel. Yes, I understand that the hotel is not of the highest category, but the attitude towards guests should be friendly and attentive. Breakfast at this hotel starts at 6 am, and the door from the hotel to the sea opens at 7 am. A huge crowd of tourists stands at the door and waits to go to the beach. This seems like a strange limitation to me. I understand that you can’t swim, let the lifeguards monitor it, but my right and desire to go to the beach after breakfast before 7 am for sunbathing or a morning jog is also apparently not legal for this hotel. One of our rooms has a broken sink drain. The windows in the room are blocked and cannot be opened at all. For this reason, the room is quite cool (although we generally do not use air conditioning) and very humid. Swimsuits do not dry at all. I am not a toxic guest and am ready to respect the internal rules of the hotel if they do not run counter to my personal interests and rights as a guest. I really hope that my comments will reach the administration and action will be taken. So far, staying in this hotel is annoying me and I have no desire to return to this hotel. Sincerely, Julia Larionova
Bad manager behave and un respective assistant
if there is less than one star, i would choose it, the manager and his assistant was very bad in their attitude, i was feeling unsafe to stay there, they didnt allow my old age mum to stay as visitor for 2 hours with us and disrespect her and us, they want money for any thing and they insist that my 11 years old boy is an adult, when we asked for why that extra charges and not allowing mum policy , the manager said in un respective way, that he makes the policy now and he will write it!!!, pls dont do this mistake as me
Unprofessional staff
We are very disappointed and frustrated with our yesterday experience at Lou Lou A Beach Resort. We booked three rooms and upon booking and arrival, we requested to have king-size beds as he gave us a twin bed for all 3 rooms. However, the receptionist guy named DENSI's who responded to our request was extremely RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. He bluntly told us that if we were not satisfied with the arrangement, we were FREE TO FIND ANOTHER HOTEL. Such a response was truly disheartening, especially when we had already paid for all 3 rooms, and we were in front of the hotel. This is the very first time we have had such an unpleasant encounter at any hotel here in UAE. It is truly disappointing to experience such a decline in customer service standards. We have decided that this will be our final visit to this hotel. It is not worth visiting this hotel anymore, the management should take action about this especially this guy Densi as he is in the front of the house and makes the 1st impression of your hotel. He is very unprofessional staff.
Great stay in LuLu
I really liked the hotel, the first coastline, the sea all day long! delicious breakfasts, varied cuisine) the rooms are not very large, but everything is clean. We also met Elnor at this hotel, he conducts private excursions, the price is normal, he will show you a lot of interesting things! .971503522834
Lu Lu'Beach Resort Al Meena St. Sharjah, UAE
I vacationed at Lu Lu Beach Resort 3* in January 2024, and, in general, I liked this hotel, although it is very old, built in 1993. The last renovation took place in 2019. Nearby is the Sharjah Beach Hotel, it was built in 1978, has not been operating since 2020, and they say it will be demolished and a new hotel built in its place. The reception has been well renovated, and there are nice people working there who tried to help with everything and responded to requests promptly. I don’t know whether they speak Russian, because I don’t have such a stupid habit of speaking Russian abroad. Wifi is free and available throughout the hotel, even on the beach, it’s great! There are transfers from the hotel to many malls in Sharjah and Dubai, so all conditions are created for shopping. Nearby there are shops for tourists and restaurants within walking distance. I only had breakfast, and I was quite pleased with it. The menu is usual: sausages, fried bacon, scrambled eggs, salads, side dishes, vegetables, fruits (oranges, watermelon, melon, apples), pastries, plenty of everything, everything is fresh and tasty. The restaurant is clean and cozy. The beach is excellent, sand, umbrellas and sunbeds were enough. I read somewhere in previous reviews that there were supposedly not enough of them, but in January there were not so many people in the hotel, and everything was fine. Beach towels are provided upon entering the beach; You can change them every day. On the beach you will definitely be accosted by one Russian, very unpleasant and vulgar person of about 60 years old, who has clearly seen better times, and with traces of her former beauty on her face... She will begin to quite persistently force you to go shopping and get fur coats) )) Probably everyone already knows that this is just a team of NLP writers and manipulators, from whom it is impossible to fight off until you buy something in these stores, so do not fall for this bait. I had a room, it seems, 401, overlooking the road, and next to the entrance to the hotel, on the 2nd floor, so everyone who smoked nearby created powerful smog in my room, from which I suffered greatly. It was necessary to change the room, but I didn’t immediately open the window and found people smoking, and then I was too lazy to move, because I only spent the night in the room... My room had a rather low ceiling, and the curtains smelt of mold and smoke, in general , it would be a good idea to wash them already, otherwise, apparently, they haven’t been washed since 2019, or even since 1993. Towels were changed every day, cleaning was also daily and thorough, bed linen was clean, shampoo and shower gel were provided in sufficient quantities and were of good quality. The weather was so-so, the sea was cold, and there was a strong storm for several days, but what to do, it’s January. Overall, the holiday was a success. It would be good if tour operators would lower prices for tours, after all, it was good before, but now you have to pay for such average hotels, 3*, very expensive!
Stay at Lou Lou Hotel, Sharjah
Excellent combination of price and quality. What we liked: - The hotel is on the first line, has its own beach. The water is clean, the sand is soft, there are sun loungers, umbrellas, and it is possible to order drinks/food on the beach. But: we chose this location because the tour operator intimidated us that from the hotels in the center the beach cannot be reached on foot, only by transport, since in the UAE there are few sidewalks and passages and there are problems with walking. In fact, we walked the entire vacation and got to any point (yes, sometimes there were difficulties, but not critical). Therefore, if you are not afraid of long walks, and a beach holiday is an addition to you and not an end in itself, then you can choose a more budget option further from the sea, and spend the difference in money on entertainment. - The area is small, but cozy and pleasant. There is a swimming pool and a jacuzzi. - Delicious, varied food. We only had breakfasts, we were completely satisfied with the menu: there were always fresh vegetables, eggs in different types (omelet, fried, boiled, scrambled), meat (bacon/ham/sostski), potatoes (hash brown, mashed potatoes, breaded mashed potatoes) ), fruits (always watermelon, and additionally melon/pineapple/orange/grapefruit/papaya), desserts (croissant, snail, muffin, pancakes, jam), coffee, tea, juices. Everything is quite tasty. I won’t say anything about lunches and dinners 🤷🏻 ♀️ I would like to note that there was never anything fishy for breakfast (I don’t eat fish, this fact made me happy 😄). - Friendly staff. They were always polite and helped resolve all issues. - Service. The room was always in order. - Hotel location. We went on foot to the public beach (even though we had our own, the city beach had its advantages), to a cafe, to the embankment, to the market, etc. (But in terms of steps, we had at least 10 thousand every day, but we are happy about it). Of the minuses: - the rooms are “tired”. Clean, neat, but it’s clear that they’re old: the wallpaper is peeling off somewhere, the air conditioner is dripping. This is not critical and does not in any way interfere with relaxation or spoil the overall impression. But if you're looking for an "Instagram" number, this isn't it. It didn't matter to us. - noisy air conditioner. We were in February, which is the coldest month in the Emirates, so we managed just fine without air conditioning almost the entire time. But when turned on, it worked loudly... Perhaps this could be adjusted somehow. Overall, we liked the hotel. We spent most of our time either on walks, or on excursions, or on the beach; we only washed and slept in the room. If you are looking for a hotel with the same purpose, I definitely recommend it. If you need activities on the territory - discos, animation, shows, games, etc. - then you will be bored.
Small hotel with a beach on the first line.
Not a bad hotel for three stars. There is not much variety in food, but there was almost always chicken, fish and meat, as well as greens. Small variety of fruits. Basically it's melon, watermelon, orange. The rooms are a little tired. The air conditioner is old and noisy, but if you set it to 25, it makes no noise and the room is not hot. In rooms with windows facing the road, the windows cannot be opened. Euro socket in the room is only in the toilet. But we asked and they gave us another adapter. The room was for two plus an extra bed. At first, it was a folding bed, but then it was changed by placing two mattresses on top of each other. It turned out to be a full bed. Comfortable mattresses and large pillows. Clean area, good housekeeping. There are enough sunbeds, but if you don’t reserve them at 7 am, you can find free ones only after 2 pm, when many people go to lunch. There is a supermarket nearby that has everything you need, including fruit. A taxi to the center of Sharjah is about 20 AED. There are also buses from the hotel, but there may not always be seats.
Good hotel
I stayed at this hotel in September. Overall everything is good. 95% of vacationers in this hotel are Russians. The rooms are large and clean, they are cleaned perfectly, linen is changed every other day, there is a kettle, tea, coffee, and 1.5 liters of water are supplied daily. The hotel has its own swimming pool and sandy beach. There are umbrellas, sun loungers and towels on the beach. The beach and pool open at 7 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. I didn’t like that when the beach opened, people ran and took seats, and then went to bed and had breakfast, while others didn’t have enough seats because of this. Breakfast is rather weak, but you won’t leave hungry, scrambled eggs begin to be fried from 7.30-8.00 a.m., despite the fact that breakfast start at 6.00. People say that lunch and dinner are good, but they were not included for me. Very reasonable prices and large portions if you order food from a restaurant a la carte. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, so you need to take a taxi to the center (15 dirhams). The hotel also offers transfers to various shopping centers in Sharjah and to the Dubai, which is located via the metro line. I especially recommend getting to Dubai by ferry. It’s a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. Several people at the reception understand Russian, but in general they do not know it. I recommend this hotel, especially in hot weather.
