The food and the service were outstanding! We ordered the cucumber salad, chicken xiao long bao, garlic green beans, the chicken spicy wontons, black pepper beef tenderloin, and the braised beef soup. Every item was out of the park delicious! Can't wait to return!

it was our first time at this restaurant! it was busy but, everyone seemed to be in a good flow, the wait wasn't tooo long. The customer service from our server to the bar back (David I think), made this experience worth a review! thank you David! your attentiveness to our table needs went above and beyond during one of your busier times. thank you thank you! Great martinis by the way! check em out.

Love Din Tai Fung, been going for years all around the world. The food is consistent and clean, the service is above average, and it's really the only soup dumpling place around. The only twinge is the price, it's easily going to cost over $100 for two.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and was not really sure what to order. However, I engaged in a conversation with David the young man cleaning a table next to me and he suggested several food and drink options. He was honest and helpful. His knowledge helped me choose the right noodle option and sold me on the lychee martini. Every time he cleaned in my area he was funny and very engaging. I will definitely return for the food and drinks but David really made my experience more enjoyable. Craig S

Some of the finest Dim Sum you'll eat! The prices can be a little high but the quality of the food and the service more than make up for it. I as really excited when they build one at the Century city mall!!
Din Tai Fung is a Taiwanese restaurant chain located around
Din Tai Fung is a Taiwanese restaurant chain located around the world. This one was located in the Westfield mall at Century City. It's very modern and has a beautiful view if you're seated near the window wall. Make sure to make a reservation at least a week in advance; we somehow snagged a same day reservation at 6:30pm for 3 on a Saturday night (which is nearly impossible). The service is always fast and up to standard. They have a restaurant available as well. Overall, ambiance and service was good. Food We ordered the famous xiao long bao, beef noodle soup, spicy chicken wontons, noodles with minced pork, chicken fried noodles, chocolate xiao long bao, and the lychee boba. Each dish ranges from around $12-$20 and the portions aren't the biggest but are shareable. Price per portion is slightly more expensive. This specific time we went, we felt that the xiao long bao didn't have as much soup as usual. The rest of the dishes were okay but we would say skip the chicken fried noodles. Overall, Din Tai Fung is great for a night out but there's definitely better Taiwanese food you can get in LA. Overall: 4.2 The ambiance + service: 4.5/5 The food: 4/5 The price: $$$

For me Din Tai Fung is a 5 across the board at this location. Service was EXCELLENT start to finish. We ate lots of food and it was all good. Also I love how clean the Century City mall is. Reservations definitely weren't very easy to get for a Sunday afternoon so if you're able to get a nifty slot, I would hop on that because usually it's limited windows.
Made reservations and got there earlier but we were seated
Made reservations and got there earlier but we were seated within 10 minutes. The food and drinks were so good! We were satisfied with the food!!! The only thing I do want to poorly rate is the service! Unfortunately our server was NOT attentive to our table at all! We noticed he continuously serviced the tables around us but not ours. We had to wave him down as he passed by our table. He never once came to ask us if we needed anything after we were done eating at which point we wanted dessert and we waved him down for that too. At one point he brought us our check when we were not even done with our dessert and we asked him for two more drinks because he saw our empty glass but never came to ask us if we needed more drinks. For the amount I'm paying for the food we should be able to sit there and enjoy it and not feel rushed out. The food was good but will not be returning to this location at least!
Bland last time bland this time.
LUNCH: Thought we would give Din Tai Fung another go in a different country. How wrong were we! Bland last time bland this time. Should’ve just gone to HK for real food. Best dish was the spinach & garlic then the hot & sour soup. Going back to American culture tomorrow 🇺🇸.
Never Again! Terrible
I am at a complete loss as to why there are so many good reviews. The food is almost unrecognizable as dim sum, it is so bad. The individual pieces were stuck together with a glue-like starchy coating and filled with flavorless balls of something. We threw most of it away and had to find another restaurant after paying their inflated prices. Shockingly, due to the crowds of people who have apparently never tasted real dim sum before, we had to wait over 40 minutes for this inedible trash.
Worst dim sum ever
The dim sum at this restaurant is awlful. We have had dim sum in San Francisco, Portland and Vancouver and have had consistently excellent dim sum in these cities. We have had much better frozen pork buns from Costco than what we had from this restaurant. Incredibly we had to wait 30 minutes for the order on a weekday for lunch.
Excellent restaurant with delicious food at reasonable prices with great service
We had a fantastic lunch experience here. The menu was very good and the food was delicious. We shared selections across our eight family members and everyone was satisfied with each dish. The service was great and the atmosphere relaxed

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Can come from a lot of places, people who don't want to get charged their cancellation fee or people who just have them and cant go.

almost all restaurants aren't affiliated with AT and I'm guessing it's mostly people wanting to not pay cancellation fees.
