CUT by Wolfgang Puck Beverly Hills Reviews from The Last Year
Amazing experience.
Went here for a lovely date night, we expressed we were in a hurry to make our showtime and they helped us very quickly. Greeted with a nice glass of champagne and we met Wolfgang. Amazing service, very attentive and accommodating. Made my entire night! Will definitely be back.
Had a perfect and delicious special occasion dinner here!
Had a perfect and delicious special occasion dinner here! The ambiance is modern high-end steakhouse, with a great selection including various wagyu items and a variety of great seafood options as well including fresh oysters and caviar service. The staff from host to server to bussers are all exceptional, and the kitchen turns out perfect dish after perfect dish. If I could afford it, I'd want to eat here at least once a week. It is so excellent, delicious, and high-quality. To start off the kitchen gave us a few gougères, light cheesy kind of small popovers, which was such a nice way to start. Then I had a lovely cocktail called Start Me Up (Flor de Caňa, Myers's Dark, Orgeat, Pineapple Juice, Passionfruit) and it came with a cool big ice cube in it that said "CUT." I LOVE good bread, and if you're like me, you must order the bread here. You get parmesan crisps, Hokkaido milk bread (nice warm pull-apart rolls), and pretzel rolls, served with roasted red pepper walnut dip and room temperature (aka spreadable!) butter. This was all so good. We also got a salad to share that was an off-menu seasonal special of white asparagus and dill with olive oil and balsamic topped with the famous Harry's strawberries (renowned and unrivaled $20 per pound organic strawberries). I love when a restaurant has this kind of seasonal inventive dish that opens your eyes to a new flavor combination. This was spring-meets-summer in a dish. Excellent. Make sure to give serious consideration to any seasonal specials they're offering when you're there! The steaks we had were cooked as we ordered them and delicious. They automatically come with a selection of sea salt, Hawaiian black salt, dijon, and whole grain mustard for the table to share. It's a lovely bonus but I wonder how much goes to waste, since the amounts provided are pretty large, and we only used very small amounts of them. I think, if they wanted to, they could invest in smaller containers without any customer complaints. My favorite revelation among many at CUT was the Caramelized Onions which I ordered to go with my steak, and now I want them with every steak I ever have from here on out! On the menu it says next to them "available in three varieties" meaning they use three different types of onions to make this, and I can't remember what types the server told me they used but I want to say it may have been cipollini, shallot, and red onion, but I could be wrong. Whatever they use, it's amazing and I can't recommend them highly enough. One order of it is plenty to share among two to three steaks. But I did love having some leftover to take home with me, and I may even intentionally order extra next time to make sure I get some to bring home! We got a side of broccolini to share that was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I love bright veggies to accompany steak, they balance/complement each other nicely. For dessert we shared a chocolate souffle which was served with sides of chocolate sauce and whipped crème fraîche - so perfect and light as a cloud like a souffle should be. And my favorite was the Banana Cream Pie which was plated in delicate, light layers of caramelized puff pastry and banana slices, vanilla crème brûlée, and banana jam, with a side scoop of banana sorbet. This is so good, the Minions would lose their minds! Overall we had an exquisite dinner experience, and I HIGHLY recommend CUT!
I celebrated my 70th at CUT.
It was our first time and decided to do the Dine LA menu. The food was delicious. The Brentwood Corn Soup left me wanting for more. They started us out with some amazing cheese puffs. We also ordered their bread platter that came with some delicious sauces. I had the Brandt Farms New York Strip, my husband had Roasted Jidori Poussin, my mother-in-law had Dry-Aged Branzino, and the side were Yukon Potato Puree, Tallow French Fries, Creamed Spinach. For dessert we had the most amazing Banana Cream Pie with Madagascar Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée, Banana Jam, Caramelized puff pastry, and Banana Sorbet. We also had their Dark Chocolate Basque Cheesecake with Harry's Berries Strawberries, Candied Hazelnuts, White Chocolate Mascarpone, and Whipped Cream. Our server was very lovely and everyone was very attentive to our needs. Very interesting decor and art work. It was truly a great experience. Will definitely go back and try their regular menu.
Reviewing restaurants and food can be a challenging task,
Reviewing restaurants and food can be a challenging task, as opinions can vary greatly and personal experiences play a significant role. Upon arrival at the restaurant, one is immediately struck by the beauty of the hotel, with its elegant chandeliers and inviting atmosphere. The valet service, while attentive, may come across as overly eager to park cars in prime spots, which may not always be necessary. Upon leaving, I handed $100 bill with my ticket and the polite gentleman thanked me and walked away. I did not ask for my car to be taken care of or parked in front. I wanted my change but none was given. So much for a Porsche! The restaurant itself is tastefully decorated but may be considered plain by some. The food, however, is exceptional, though the prices may not be suitable for everyone. A basic dinner for two resulted in a bill totaling $1000, which may be considered steep compared to other high-end establishments such as BOA Steakhouse or Mastros, where a similar meal may cost $400-$500, including luxurious items like black caviar. For 2 People! Despite the high prices, the quality of the food and the exceptional service provided by the servers were highlights of the dining experience. However, the cost of items such as a $50-$75 old fashioned cocktail may be seen as excessive when compared to other establishments. It tasted just as bad as Crown Apply Royal on ice which is usually $12-$15 dollars! While the food was enjoyable, the overall experience may not justify the steep prices, leading to a decision not to return in the future.
This was our third time at CUT.
Quality and service has been good in the past so we decided to take friends there. I guess the chef was sick or something was going on but the steak was terrible and everything else was tasteless. Sides and dessert was fine. When one person in our party complained about their steak, the server came back after discussing it with the kitchen and informed that in-fact it was a bad cut/piece of meat. What is that supposed to mean??? Why would you serve it then? Why was the risotto also tasteless? There was definitely something off that night. Needless to say we won't be going back or recommending it to anyone else.
The food was terrible.
The tomahawk steak presentation uncooked was a lot bigger than what they actually brought cooked 90% of the tomahawk steak we ordered was flat and all fat ambience was terrible felt like a cafeteria. Very overpriced don't be fooled by the size of the uncooked meat.
Very, very ordinary and extremely overpriced food with
Very, very ordinary and extremely overpriced food with seriously inadequate service. Wolfgang Puck should be ashamed to attach his name to this poor excuse for a high end steakhouse. id give less than one star if that was an option.
I recently dined at CUT and was thoroughly disappointed.
Despite ordering a medium filet, it arrived overcooked to an easily medium-well, which significantly diminished the quality of the meal. Considering the exorbitant prices, I expected much better. You can find equal or superior cuts of steak at many other establishments for much less, making it clear you're paying for the name rather than the quality. While the service was good, the highlight of the evening was overhearing someone at another table say it was their birthday and they "didn't deserve CUT." It made me wonder--deserve what, exactly? Certainly not the overpriced, overcooked meal I experienced.
Very expensive.
$700 dinner for two. Mediocre service, too much cumin in tartare, and creamed spinach like soup. Steaks ok but not worth couple hundred bucks a piece. Ambiance: "hotel nice"
As with any LA place, it might be a little hard to find +
As with any LA place, it might be a little hard to find + you have to find a parking garage or street parking. Keep in mind CUT was located in a hotel! To save yourself from a wait, I also recommend making a reservation on Open Table. I came here for Saturday dinner and the restaurant looked very full. As soon as we arrived for our reservation, we were seated and greeted by our server right away. We came for one dish, the tomahawk steak and I did not regret it. It is a 50 oz steak so it is definitely shareable. It came with some mustards, pepper, and salt on the side as an option for those who wanted to add it, but my boyfriend and I opted to spend a little extra for chimichurri. Along with the steak, we got three appetizers - pugliese burrata cheese, uni toast, and mac and cheese. Out of the three, I would say splurge on the uni toast, it was well worth it. The burrata cheese was refreshing but I would say skip out on the mac and cheese (it was honestly a bit bland). Another thing I wanted to point out is that the service here is IMMACULATE, absolutely amazing 5/5 stars for service!!!
CUT was an excellent dining experience.
From start to finish, we were served with great care and consideration. Pepino's Revenge - I don't like tequila but I could drink this everyday. El Jimador Blanco, Cucumber, Basil, Lime Juice Bone Marrow Flan - A delicious starter, mushroom marmalade | red wine bordelaise | Sicilian Capers | fines herbs Filet Mignon - A Fantastic cut of meat. Creekstone | Kansas. Australian Wagyu Filet Mignon - Also an excellent cut. I'm glad I tried it, but the price difference from the Kansas cut might be questionable to some. (About $45) Stone Axe | Australia Wagyu Tallow French Fries - Excellent. Next time I will try something else. house seasoning | parsley Creamed Spinach - The Fried egg drizzled throughout was amazing fried organic egg Banana Cream Pie - A CUT signature desert for a reason. Delicious Madagascar vanilla bean crème brûlée | banana jam | caramelized puff pastry | banana sorbet From the meat presentation, to the desert, everything was on point. We had a brief chat with Wolfgang Puck, as he greeted us at our table. We were looked after at every step; Cesar was an excellent server. It was a memorable evening. Also, no ridiculous hidden fees or nonsense added to the bill. We will be back.
This place is great of course.
It's a little fancy for fancy sake in my opinion in some aspects. But who cares, it's fun. Service is amazing. Ambiance is great. It kind of has a trying to be chill and cool vibe that isn't totally pulled off due to obvious fancy pants place vibes.

My friends and I decided to come to Cut to celebrate one of our friend's birthday as we heard many great things about this place before coming here. Our reservations were at 7:15PM and the restaurant didn't seem too busy. We didn't leave the restaurant until 10:30PM because of how slow the service was. Our server was not attentive whatsoever. Another server had to step in and take our order because our server was nowhere to be found. The food took a very long time to come out. We waited 35-40 minutes for our main entrees to finally come out. The food was mediocre and was not worth the $500 bill we paid afterwards. Overall, we would not come back.
Cut is located inside the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
Beautiful location and ambiance. Service was good, Food was just okay. Very pricey place. I was not impressed by their wagyu beef. It was just too rich yet not so flavorful for me. We tried different type of steaks (we spent about $500 for two adults and it was not worth it) I would come here for drinks but not for dinner.
DELICIOUS DINNER BUT AVOID THE WOBBLY ROUND TABLE
DELICIOUS DINNER BUT AVOID THE WOBBLY ROUND TABLE Celebrated a birthday dinner here and everything was DELICIOUS! Our server (wore red glasses) was the funniest, kindest staff member! Will return again! Steaks- incredible like everyone says! I ordered the regular filet mignon and my gf got the Australian wagyu filet and it was a huge difference hers was perfection. Mine was tougher (if was also overcooked) see pic. Sides we loved: pureed potatoes silky and rich, Mac and cheese was the best I've ever had and their duck fat fries. Cream spinach, broccolini was just ok. Appetizers we loved: Beef tartare with the wonton nori chips were yummy and the burrata salad was divine! Desserts we loved: the BANANA cream pie w/ the cre brûlée top was fantastic and so was the baked Alaska (it was very sweet tho). I'm not a soufle fan and the chocolate bar was just one note. Only issue was the big round wooden table (we had 9) was super wobbly and kept spilling our water all night. They tried to fix the stand but it was just poorly made. They did give us free desserts to make up for it which was nice!
My husband brought me here for my birthday on Dec 31.
Being that it was New Year's Eve the menu was fixed. We really wanted to try the sliders but were disappointed to learn the menu was set for the holiday. The steak was flavored very good. The sides Not It! . We did have a bottle of champagne. The service was really great.. Alicia was her name. the ambience was okay. Nothing special at all. Looks like a lobby was turned into a cafeteria . Just a side note here.. There is no restroom directly in the restaurant. You have to walked into the hotel to use the restroom.
This place has absolutely delicious food.
We enjoyed the bread platter, salad, steak, and four of the shareable sides. Everything tastes INCREDIBLE. Service was excellent and we were very well taken care of. Great feel and vibe to the restaurant. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to have a great dinner experience.
5 star for service and the experience.
3 star for our steak. We ordered the porterhouse wagyu medium rare and it was served medium and the edges well done. We were hungry so we just dig right in. For a $335 cut of steak, I was expecting it to be served as I ordered. Our server Cesar was so great and all the other staff were very attentive. The whole dining experience was great and would be back again. Maybe order the wagyu rare next time so it comes in medium rare . Uurrrgggg, hate wasting food and I didn't want to send the food back!
Good vibe.
Good service. Good cocktails. Good pretzel bread. Surprisingly, the steak was not good at all. Medium rare bone-in ribeye was thin, tough, and chewy. Maybe it was a bad night, but that steak should not have made it to the table. The kitchen split the steak and should have realized it was subpar. The rest of the meal was just ok.
The food and service were decent, not the best though.
Not worth the price. There are so many better restaurants in the area to go to for the price you pay here. There were even a few cuts of meat that were on the menu that they didn't have in stock.
Horrible
I don’t even know where to start… service was terrible! Imagine going to eat and being pushed into ordering items you previously declined already. It started with the water and ended at dessert… completely unprofessional and awkward to a point where I was beginning to get upset! I wonder if they are being paid commission to push sales. Next it was their food, something was spoiled (might have been the bone marrow) and we all ended up with diarrhea. The steak sauces and sides are limited and unappealing and the flavors were uncomplimentary to the meat! Horrible experience! We will never come here again.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!

So glad I came across this app :)
Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here
Prime time, great meal

Worked perfectly to get into Carbone. So delighted
perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??
Tune into NBC News - Top Story Tonight 7:40p ET
Let’s go. Get more people placing bids!
I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
