Yuginong Portland Reviews from The Last Year
Delicious food in a casual environment.
Everything we ate was exceptionally prepared.
Yuginong in St.
Johns, Portland, is a culinary gem. Their dedication to gluten-free and locally sourced ingredients is evident in every bite. The Gahn-Jang Beef was outstanding, featuring tender, flavorful steak served over fresh steamed vegetables with a side of perfectly cooked rice. The warm hospitality and meticulous attention to detail made the dining experience truly exceptional. For anyone in the area, Yuginong is a must-visit for authentic Korean cuisine with a contemporary twist.
We happen to drop by this lovely little spot while
We happen to drop by this lovely little spot while exploring the St. John's area and we are so fortunate that we did. Everything from the decor and ambiance to the staff to the food, we couldn't stop raving about. As a quaint Korean shop, you order by using a touch pad. As it was our first time, the staff, who happen to be the family that owns the spot, were more than happy to explain the dishes and tell us their favorites! Although there were only two of us, we order three entrees. The mom of the shop even came out to make sure we had our order correct and didn't want to overcharge us! The food was simply amazing. Truly comfort food at its finest, but never lacking any details to the flavor profile and makes you feel right at home. The steak was cooked very nicely and the mint butter glaze on top was absolutely amazing. The vegetables were cooked nicely and served underneath with the gravy of the steak that brought a good balance to the dish. The tofu bibimbap was a good take on a classic dish. Probably one of the better bibimbap's I've had in my lifetime, had a good sense of savory flavor with a hint of sweet behind it. They provide two sauces, we loved both. The green sauce was more like a creamy pesto sauce and the red sauce was a gochu jang blend that really added to the dish. The ox bone soup was probably my favorite out of the three. This really made me feel at home. While being light and having a pure taste, the ox meat was hearty and good subtle taste. Each meal came with their own banchan. Because we order different entrees, I'm not sure if they gave us different ones to try on purpose or if the banchan are unique to the entree. Either way, we have kimchi, one with cabbage and one with daikon, beansprouts, and miso soup. I loved the kimchi, as it had a good sour taste while not being overly spicy. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here and would definitely come back and highly recommend! If you're ever in the area, stop by. It won't disappoint.
Great place to enjoy a Korean style meal.
Vegetarian options are available. Service was great and food arrived fairly quick and fresh from the kitchen. Quiet and cozy seating I really enjoyed my lunch here.
Tasted like shit So bad I couldn't even finish my plate.
It looks like a turd. I literally considered breaking a plate because of how bad it was.
Such delicious Korean food!! Highly recommend checking out
Such delicious Korean food!! Highly recommend checking out this fabulous restaurant. We have tried the Ox Bone soup, beef bulgogi and the veggie bimbimbap. All are incredible, though, our favorite is the ox bone soup!! Everything is gluten free/friendly to Celiacs, and the restaurant is very family friendly! Always great service.
A absolutely amazing Korean spot.
Located in St. Johns, it's a bit far from Portland but it's 100% worth the drive. They have simple menu and everything is delicious. The inside of the restaurant is cute, clean, and I love the look of natural wood. I got their edamame, cheese corn, japchae, vegetarian bibimbap, and gahn-jang beef and it was all so delicious. The edamame comes in two portion sizes, which such a nice option to have. The cheese corn is a nice generous portion and has the perfect amount of cheese with the corn. Japchae is delicious, but I just wish there were more veggies or some meat in it. The tofu bibimbap was a HUGE portion and they gave you a special spicy bibimbap sauce that complimented the dish perfectly. And, the gahn-jang beef was cooked to tender perfection and seasoned perfectly. Everything was delicious and I would love to come back. Service is so kind.
Yummy food, perfect seasoning.
The vibe was chill and not super busy on weekends. Happy to see this spot in North Portland. Can't wait to come back!

We came here with a friend who lives in the neighborhood, but had not been here yet. It's a super casual spot -- order at the counter, they bring your food and drinks to you, and then you bus your own table. I got the sweet night cocktail, which was a lychee and citrus drink. It was quite lovely! My partner got the after school special, which had a ton of strawberry flavor. For a main, I got the salmon. It was blackened, crispy, and packed with flavor! The steamed veggies were a great accompaniment as well. The meals also come with rice, kimchi, and bean sprouts. The menu had a lot of delicious-sounding options, and I would not hesitate to return!
Had an errand to do in St.
John's and wanted to try somewhere new. Parking was a bit rough due to it being a Friday night around 5 pm. It's totally worth it! I got the vegetable bibimbap and edamame. When I got home and saw how large the bibimbap was, I was pleasantly surprised. The price is on point, and the flavor is bold and addictive. I raved to all of my friends as I was eating this meal, and I would go back again! Staff was very helpful.
Absolutely stellar Korean fair.
I crave their gochu-garu salmon often. And their cheese corn is delightful! Dine in or takeout is totally doable, with zero issues with orders in several instances! Give them a visit!
Excellent and tasty food and quick service.
I had the vegetarian bibimbop and it was delicious. It was served with two side sauces and miso soup. Highly recommend!
We have been meaning to try this place for forever.
The decor is very cute and relaxing, with lots of natural elements and colors. Staff were helpful and friendly. I liked the computer ordering process, and it was easy to navigate. The food was delicious! Edamame was perfectly tender. The entrees were very tasty as well. The salmon dish had a bit of a spicy kick, but was not overwhelming the fish or veggies. The bulgogi was flavorful and tenser. I quite enjoyed the miso, it was very mild and the perfect temperature! The portions were also great for sharing or left overs. Overall, can't wait to go back and try other dishes.
The food was fresh and delicious.
Whether you're seeking spicy, comfort, or light fare, this is the place to be.

Yuginong's clean and minimal interior creates a serene dining atmosphere, allowing the focus to shift to the star of the show--the food. Each dish boasts fresh and clean-tasting ingredients that elevate the dining experience. The commitment to quality is evident in every bite, showcasing a harmonious blend of flavors and the perfectly cooked beef. The wait time to order and receive the food was longer than expected; however, the attentive service was appreciative since there was a larger group ahead of us.
Very good Korean food.
What makes it good? The sauces are unique. Sides of miso soup and kimchi. All presented on a tray! We had chicken and then a vegetarian dish and they were very very good. Unassuming place with solid service. Worth a visit.
Friendly service & delicious food! So glad to have a Korean

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Yes unfortunately they are finding more and more ways to lock up sellers money. Sell thru rate, refund rate, limiting withdrawal amounts ler day and per month (which for me are the same number which makes no sense). Lot of sellers leaving as you can see from the lifetime sales not really increasing. Most posts on here are frustrated sellers which is not a recipe for success

I’m sorry to hear about this - I’m a brand new seller on the platform and didn’t realize this was a *thing* - any chance you can point me to the fine print/documentation where this policy is stated (also identifying other caveats like this would be appreciated)?
