What an experience! Phenomenal views with home made pastas
What an experience! Phenomenal views with home made pastas and wines to match. Our server Alex made great recommendations on what to order and guided our experience. Staff were friendly and attentive constantly topping off water and clearing plates. The manager checked in on us and introduced herself talked about the chef and history. We started the the foiegras pastrami and arugula salad with aged pecorino. For pastas we shared the spaghetti with dungeness crab and casoncelli with bacon. Lastly for dessert order a few and share they were all delicious especially the apple tart with gelato. Overall amazing views and service with flavors to match!

Visited Vetri Cucina at the Palms hotel on our annual trip to Vegas. We travel with another couple, but always have one "date night" where we split up and just dine as a couple. I picked Vetri Cucina for our date night because we had had a wonderful experience at the Philadelphia location several years ago. That plus the reported views from the 56th floor of the Palms would make for a romantic evening. A look at my yelp reviews will tell you I'm an optimistic reviewer and typically choose restaurants that are highly rated especially when traveling. I'm sorry to say that this experience at the Vegas location of Vetri Cucina was mediocre at best. We ate at Vetri on the day AFTER Valentines day because we were hoping to enjoy the full regular a la carte menu rather than a set Valentine's menu. Little did we know that they were going to emphasize the Valentine's day tasting menu all week, and had a much more limited a la carte menu available. That was a bummer as we quickly learned that several of the items we had been looking forward to were not available. I can't really blame the restaurant for that (we didn't ask beforehand), but the menu items we did order did not bail them out. After starting out with a tasty cocktail, our first dish was a striped jack crudo. This bite was the highlight of the evening. Unique fish, very tasty. Things seemed to be going well. We then shared the burrata salad (our first choice of salad wasn't available) and it was fine, but not memorable. Next we ordered a couple of pastas - the Malfadine Bolognese and the King Crab Taglioni. This is where the experience deteriorated. There was a long - +-45 minute break between the salad plates being cleared and the pastas to arrive. The view was great, and I like hanging with my wife, but this was way too long. Once the pastas arrived, the staff apologized for the wait and delivered the two pastas we ordered and the butternut squash tortellini on the house due to the wait. The Bolognese was actually excellent. The King Crab Taglioni was the opposite. Cold, salty, not much flavor otherwise and just not good. Very disappointing dish. We probably should have sent it back. The free tortellini was OK, but not something we would order again. On to the entree to see if the meal can be salvaged. We were planning on ordering the grilled swordfish dish, but again, it had been 86'd due to Valentines week. The server said the only seafood option available was the Grilled Seafood Misto which was basically grilled octopus, shrimp, and scallops with a lemon and olive oil sauce over some mixed greens. The scallops were excellent, but the octopus and shrimp were hammered to the point they were almost inedible. Again very disappointing for a restaurant of such acclaim. We had a dessert that wasn't memorable enough for me to remember it a couple weeks later as I type this review. Bottom line - The space was beautiful, the service was friendly, a couple of standout dishes, but way too many misses by the kitchen. 3 stars is probably generous. We only visit Vegas once a year, so we probably wouldn't be back to Vetri Cucina anyway, but this experience makes the decision easy.

Found two seats at the bar, and enjoyed a quick bite and beverage. The bar crew were friendly and attentive. The cheesecake was delicious!

We went on a wednesday evening and the service was great, it wasn't too loud and we were checked on by our server multiple times which was nice. Its a perfect spot to drink a glass of wine and talk for hours since the view and ambiance is killer. I wouldnt recommend this place on an empty stomach since the portion sizes are quite small. Overall a great experience will definitely come again.

Be the first to ReplyFirst visit for my husband and I for our anniversary trip.
We had only been to the previous restaurant, Alize in the same space. Vetri is totally different but an awesome experience in a different way. Honestly when we got off the elevator we were surprised by how loud the music way, we thought we may have been at ghostbar but continued on down toward the restaurant where we were seated at an awesome table for two, with a view, just as I requested. We had stuffed ourselves earlier at lunch so the smaller portions were just fine with us. I had the butternut squash pasta and it was divine. Probably less than 10 on my plate but again, I didn't mind because I was full from lunch. We also had the warm salads that were amazing as well. The waitstaff were super friendly and although different than our favorite Alize, we loved this place as well and will be back for sure.
Be the first to ReplyThis may have been the most bi-polar meal I've ever
This may have been the most bi-polar meal I've ever experienced. My wife, daughter, and I arrived for a 7:00 reservation to a nearly-empty restaurant. Our waiter greeted us, introduced the menu, and appeared to be a complete professional. He asked if we had time restraints and we told him we had tickets to Penn & Teller at 9:00 (just down the street from the Palms). Our first courses (Crudo & Oysters) arrived quickly and were excellent. Salads arrived shortly afterwards. Warm Salad was among the best salads I've ever eaten, while my wife's market salad was just so-so. After the salads were cleared, I checked the time and it was around 7:35. Dinner was moving along nicely and there was plenty of time before we needed to be at the show. Then, the meal went completely sideways. Our waiter simply disappeared. We had long since finished our cocktails and our wine (ordered 20+ minutes prior) never arrived. Water glasses had long been empty, as well. After we had been ignored for nearly 40 minutes, I got up and flagged down another server who said he'd "try to find" our waiter. Our waiter soon emerged, but still didn't come to our table, instead going to an adjacent table and casually chatting with them about how often them come to Vegas and what shows they would be seeing. Finally, after over an HOUR since we had finished our prior course, our waiter brought our entrees. Instead of being apologetic for ignoring us for over an hour, he blamed the kitchen and told us they messed up our orders (which he had never come to explain) and we were "lucky" that "someone left before their entrees were served" and we now had their food (?!?). My daughter said her pasta was good, but my wife's fish was ice cold and hard (had obviously been sitting out for some time) and my grilled Wagyu was simply inedible. It was cold, unseasoned, and so damn tough as to resemble shoe leather. By this time, it was already past 9:00 and we ended up missing around 25 minutes of Penn & Teller. I will give credit to the hostess/manager for removing the two uneaten entrees from the bill. Other than that, our waiter was rude, unprofessional, and completely unapologetic for abandoning us and causing us to miss 1/3 of our expensive post-meal show. Food ranged from excellent to worse than an Olive Garden. With the depth of high-end Italian in Las Vegas, you can avoid this place and never miss it. P.S. Restaurant promised they would reach out following my displeasure. Never happened.

Ventri is located in the Palms Casino Hotel on the 56th Floor. A few things that are great about this restaurant are the easy parking and quick and easy access to the restaurant. TIP:Request a seat alongside the windows for a panoramic strip or city view. Keep in mind that it is not guaranteed. Service is always great here. First visit, Karis was our server. 2nd visit, Alexandra. Both were awesome, but Karis was a little spunky. Food: * 24 Months Prosciutto di Parma* Bluefin Tuna Crudo with Blood Orange Vinaigrette * Almond Tortellini * Spinach Gnocchi * Grilled Wagyu Bavette * Grilled Heritage Pork Collar* Burrata di PugliaThe servings are small, BUT the flavors are delicious. My least favorite would be the complimentary bread and pork collar. The burrata was soooo good. It had pesto on the bottom, and the different beans worked so well together. The prosciutto was the best. The bread was the best. It's dense and so satisfying. (I love bread.) The Almond Tortellini was equally as delcious. So rich and buttery. Overall, I'd definitely return. I just wouldn't order the pork anymore.
Be the first to ReplyThe view and the food are amazing.
I would like slightly bigger portions on the mains. The bread is something special.
Be the first to ReplyThis is a hidden gem in vegas.
the Experience we had dining at Vetri Cucina has been the highlight of our trip. The ambiance, the view, the service, the food was top notch. Karis who served us was absolutely delightful, efficient and fun, she is a gem! The wine, the oysters the fruit De mare was to die for, every bite of everything we had was incredibly flavorful. we went back for Happy Hour the next day and the incredible experience was repeated, another exceptional experience...unbelievable! don't miss dining here, it will change you. I vow to eat here every time I come back to Vegas!!!

Trained in the kitchens of Bergamo Italy but born stateside Marc Vetri's name may not carry the weight of some "Celebrity Chefs," but at his eponymous Restaurant in Philadelphia there has nonetheless been a book full of reservations for more than two decades, and in November 2018 the husband, father, musician, author and humanitarian transported his iconic dining room 56 stories above the Las Vegas Strip.Titled Vetri Cucina and occupying the former home of Alizรฉ, a space that has been completely re-imagined with imported cobblestone, warm wood and soft lighting, it is after a ride in elevators that guests will find themselves in a foyer where classic rock plays, the hostess stand just steps beyond and in front of a bar serving Wine plus inspired Cocktails. In many ways Sin City's biggest re-opening post-pandemic, an exclusive price-point one part of the reason, it is after confirming reservations that guests are led to tables clad in white tablecloths and hand-blown glasses, tiny candles flickering as bright lights glow below and into the distance.Featuring a la carte service as opposed to Chef Vetri's Philadelphia Tasting Menu, though the latter is reportedly forthcoming, it is by skilled servers that diners are offered warm professionalism while the kitchen is led by Chefs Michael Rubenstien and Ashley Costa.Offering both Marc's classics and newer seasonal items, a Bread program by the former Batali Pastry maestro yielding seeded Sourdough plus two starters, "savory Zeppole" come loaded with aged Proscuitto while Wheat Focaccia offers unparalleled softness beneath Mortadella, airy Cheese and Pistachios.Moving next to Pasta, the appropriate focus of any visit to Vetri Cucina, it was skipping recipes from the book "Il Viaggio di Vetri" that guests were next treated to all-new, Gemelli with Pesto and Orange Zest plus pockets of Taleggio Cheese contrasting bitter Radicchio and Walnuts brightened by Honey. Requesting additional Bread to sop up Sauce, the overall lack of Tomatoes expected as a result of Marc's regional approach, savories overlooked Goat this time in favor of pricey grilled Seafood plus roasted Chicken that seems almost French thanks to Foie Gras and Mushrooms.Taking Espresso with Dolci, the complete collection of Vetri's classics and new ideas from Chef Costa on display, Chocoholics should head straight for the molten-center "Souffle" while those seeking Fruit will be delighted by tart Semifreddo or Creme Fraiche Panna Cotta with Huckleberries and shards of Meringue.Cleansing the palate between plates with bites of Gelato, both Hazelnut and Orange lovely but Vanilla on a whole different level, if one were forced to pick Vetri Cucina's *best* Dessert the decision would fall between Sicilian Pistachio "Flan" and a peerless Paris Brest, the former spilling silky green contents with each spoonful while the latter showcases Choux around dainty Mousse.
Be the first to ReplyWe went for my husbands birthday and we had an awesome time.
The server Kayla was great for recommendations and pairings. From start to finish the food was delicious. The Zeppoli's was so good we ordered a second round. We ended the night with a bourbon tasting with help from our server. I can not wait to go back.

Beautiful restaurant! Great service! Now the Food, Appetizers looks like amuse bouche! Entrees looks like appetizers in size! Food was way too salty! Other than that! We ate everything because we were hungry! Not because the food was great! I'll go back at the bar for tapas style dinner.....

This place was a perfect gem! Lovely helpful staff, with an upscale mid-century slash modern feel to it. Think classy but cool. The chef is to be commended. The food was the star, from the well rounded menu, to the perfect portions, to the care used to ensure each meal was exactly how it should be. The true testament to how good the food was is that our party of 4 ate every last bite, and enjoyed doing it. I can't think of a place I liked better overall. Our birthday girl was not happy the bread was not warm, but it was very fresh and good, and we ate that too. The only reason I mention this is because people come with expectations and I hope this helps manage those expectations. That view!
Be the first to Replythis was one of the best experiences.
it's a tasting menu which is perfect for sharing. our server, will, was knowledgeable, courteous, helpful and friendly. we also has a busser, don't remember her name, but she gave some great recommendations on the food. we had the following: - 24 mo prosciutto di parma with savory zeppole and black pepper honey- sweet onion crepe with truffle and parmesan fondue - shaved cauliflower salad with salsa verde and ricotta salata - almond tortellini with parmesan and white truffle - swordfish with swiss chard, pine nuts and castelvetrano olives - special pasta, with lamb ragรบ we finished off with espresso, served with a small pistachio orange biscotti, and dessert:- lime curd semifreddo with toasted meringue- pecan paris brestand then we were surprised with some chocolates and gummies, which we took to go.

The views are good, the food is good!!! But be warned: The portions are tiny.Walking into Vetri Cucina, I was blown away at the amazing views of the city through the floor to ceiling glass windows!! Wow!! You feel as if some life changing event will be happening to you while dining like a proposal or someone telling you that you won the lottery!! Service was good and our server appropriately cautioned us that the portions were small. When the first appetizer of the night came (sweet onion crepe), I thought it was an amuse bouche. (Laughing at myself)! When the server said it was the sweet onion crepe, it was underwhelming seeing the super small portion. This is the theme for everything we had that night. By the end of dinner, we were still hungry. The whole meal felt like a series of appetizers...delicious ones! Luckily, the Palms offers a variety of eating venues and we filled up elsewhere on the property. Definitely worth coming for the view itself and the tasty morsels! Just have a plan B ready for meal #2 if you are a piggy like me or if you are getting that summer bod ready, Vetri can help! ;)
Be the first to ReplyCame here for date night on Saturday evening at Vetri
Came here for date night on Saturday evening at Vetri Cucina. Located at the Palms casino on the 56th floor. Upon entering the 56th floor, you will encounter the hostess desk to the left and the bar the first room. In the next room is the dining room area of 180 degrees of south end of the strip. Dinner reservations is a must, so I suggest requesting view of the strip. The atmosphere is romantic with soft lighting. Ordered the almond tortellini with parmesan and white truffe and grilled wagyu bavette. My boyfriend ordered the Grilled Seafood Misto with lemon and extra virgin olive oil. Everything was delicious and small portion. Our server of the night mentioned the menu is made to share to order so portions are small. The restaurant is a such a bijou. A great place for your pre theater dinner or even a romantic dinner.
Be the first to ReplyWe had a beautiful , romantic dinner here.
We travel to Vegas 2x a year for biz and this is so intimate , esp. for Vegas! Pasta was handmade, hand-milled flour. So delicate and perfect! An amazing experience!
Be the first to ReplyI wouldn't return strictly because the service was garbage.
The staff ignored half of our table and when we tried to talk to them about our disappointments they just kept saying, "sorry you feel that way".

Came to this place a couple weeks ago with some friends and I was pleasantly surprised!! ย This all started when my friend invited the 6 of us (3 couples) to get together for a nice dinner without the kids. I have heard of this place but never been. You have to enter by going to a receptionist in the main level. She hits the elevator button to take you to Vetri. Once you get out, the restaurant looks so beautiful. It also has an amazing view of the strip and vegas skyline. Since there are 6 of us, we pretty much ordered everything from the menu!!! ย See posts of the foot we ordered. The appetizers were so good. My favorite is the steak tartare. ย They also had a huge wine selection on their menu that made the dinner even more amazing.Must tries:Almond Tortellini The Sea BassOxtail Lasagna Flan desert

I was excited to try this restaurant, because I love Italian food and when I heard their pasta are home made. I got excited, and to be honest, it didn't disappointment me, I called earlier to check their happy hour but I felt the Hosstes as soon I asked about the happy hour changed her tone of voice even when we get there she was it is only 20 minutes left for happy hour, I though she said it, because the elevator takes a lot of time to get there. Well who knows. But when we arrived upstairs Alicia was pretty genuine friendly and our server Michelle at the bar was phenomenal.
Be the first to ReplyResearched hours before we went on a Saturday night.
Their website said open until 11:00pm. We got there at 10:00pm and were told by the bartender that they would not seat us for dinner. I questioned this, referencing the website. ย The bartender turned around and looked at who I assume was the manager who was sitting at the bar, then turned back to me and said "We have new hours as of today." ย Shady and rude.
