Vanderpump à Paris Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
Everything comes with a price tag
Very good location in the center of the strip, overall nice experience, liked Paris cobbled streets theme, piped in French music outside, rooms are very clean, although there were some things that need attention eventually, doors in bathroom and bedskirts are getting rundown. The price of the hotel quadruples from the base price when you add all the taxes, resort fees, parking fee ( $20 per night) ,even cost ( and inconvenience) of morning coffee that you have to get from elsewhere, because there are no coffee makers in the room. There is a refrigerator, though.
Perfect location, clean hotel!
Great location right in the middle of the strip! You can do self service check in and out so don’t bother with the massive queues unless you need to! Lovely room, comfy beds! Great stay! Be aware that the swimming pool shuts really early which is a shame but otherwise great time!
Very Disappointed
So Paris now has a new tower which is over in the Horseshoe. If I wanted to be at the Horseshoe I would have booked there. It’s not close to Paris at all so not sure how they call it Paris? The service is absolutely horrible and no one cares if you’re unhappy which ruined our vacation. Vegas has become arrogant, super expensive on everything including food and drinks, over crowded, cheap on comps, and the slot machines are so tight that you can’t even get a bonus anymore. It’s dirty and feels disgusting. Las Vegas use to be my favorite escape but now it will be a very long time before I return if ever. What a disappointment! I spent most of my time at The Palms where I felt appreciated and got the comps I deserved. To be a Diamond Plus member On Total Rewards I am rethinking where I spend my money from now on.
A shame
clearly a disgrace. 3 hour wait just to check in and get the room keys for one night only. we were supposed to get the keys at 6pm and we got them at 9pm. 3 hours waiting on our feet. A deplorable organization that made us miss our only evening in Las Vegas. I strongly advise against
Fantastic
Compare to last year stay, this year Paris was simply GREAT. Very Clean, Fantastic and friendly staff. They can improve water pressure but that's about it. Looking forward to our next stay. Paris never failed for us. Felt very welcomed, and felt at home.
Overpriced for the quality
My wife and I traveled to Vegas for our 30th anniversary and stayed at the Paris because the price was right and we are Caesars members for over 20 years. This turned out to be a mistake, as the Paris lacks the ooh-la-la that we expected. We've come to understand that the Caesars brand is no longer as shiny as it used to be. We are in NJ and stay at Harrah's, Trop or Caesars when we are there - none are anything more than above average and the same could be said here for Vegas. The Paris is very pretty, but it's all smoke and mirrors. Our first room was acceptable and worth what we were paying - nothing fancy but comfortable. I say our first room because after our first day, a water pipe broke and the hotel was forced to shut off the water from 11-2 to make the repairs. We did not have an issue with this as we were using the pool for the day and did not need the room. When we did return at 5:00, the water was still off and we had no use of our shower or toilet. We had reservations for dinner and needed these basic amenities, so we sought out help. Calls to the desk were useless and we were put on hold a few times, so I took matters into my own hands and went straight to the concierge. They had no idea when the repairs would be done, but offered to move us to a new room on the other side of the hotel. They also offered to remove all of the resort fees for the trip to help compensate for the inconvenience. We quickly packed everything up, moved to another building and found ourselves in a room that was unfinished - no shelves in the shower, no refrigerator, not enough clothing storage and to top it all off, it faced the Strip but did not have soundproof glass - so a great view, but we could hear everything until 2:00 AM. Did I mention the workers on construction scaffolding that went up and down past our windows? On top of this, when we went to check out we found that not only did the Paris NOT remove all of the resort fees, they charged a Premium for Friday night so we paid extra. If you still feel you need to stay with Caesars, here's some tips: - Water is $10 a bottle. You can spend $7.00 and get soda, or spend $7.00 for a case of 12 waters at the CVS that is 500 feet away. Do NOT buy any "supplies" at Caesars - go to CVS or Walgreens. They even have booze. - Coffee is $7.00 and easy to get. Order anything fancier like a cappuccino and you're going to wait. A long time. - Don't try calling for help - it's not coming. Go straight to the desk.
Paris - save your money
Hotel is not up to par. Room and amenities are average nothing notable or outstanding. There were pool issues with it being closed for almost 2 hours. The lifeguards look 16 years old and blow there whistles at everyone for everything! At one point ashes were flying and there was smoke. Apparently there was a fire by the pool One day we got notice there would be no water from 11am -2pm by 4pm there was still no water and calling down to maintenance desk they could not provide an ETA when the water would be back! Itis 110 degrees out and no water to take a shower after spending hours in the sun and the pool ? Sorry Paris - avoir!
Paris Hotel let down
Do not stay here!!! Waiting time to check in and out is too long. Seriously short staffed. Eiffel Tower viewing was closed for two weeks. Housekeeping was awful, had to call every day to get our room cleaned and to request extra towels for showering. Didn’t come one day, called three times, didn’t bother to attend. Seriously, Seriously disappointing, won’t be staying in this outdated Hotel again.
Rock Bottom
I have stayed at this hotel at least a dozen times and always had a great experience until now. I waited 90 minutes on line just to check in. There is no longer a buffet, there is no longer a concierge, restaurants are now all run by corporate been counters. Vegas has always been a little pricy and I understand that but when I have to pay $72 for 2 hamburgers , 2 french fries, and 2 sodas at Bobby Flays hamburger stand and then go look for my own table its not fun. It doesn't matter where you turn everything is designed to get in your pocket. There was zero entertainment in the lounge the entire week including Friday and Saturday. Needless to say there is no longer any reason to come here. It's very sad this is not the Paris I remember.
Stale cigarettes and perfume
A dated hotel that reeks of cigarette smoke masked with perfume. The rooms are adequate but could use a face lift. Expect to spend an hour checking in even if you use the online pre-checkin option. There is a $52 resort fee that gives you internet access (two devices only so not good for families of four), access to a decent pool, and access to a sub par gym. The hotel is like a very tall highway motel with a large Eiffel Tower in front of it.
Very disappointed
This was such a disappointment! First of all, they charged me $50 for an early check-in. When I got to the room, it was filthy. There was debris all over the carpeting as if it hadn’t been vacuumed and when I opened the closets, both of them had food crumbs on the floor. In addition, the refrigerator was also dirty and hadn’t been cleaned. I called housekeeping and left the room so they could clean and when I returned the carpeting had been vacuumed, but the closets still had food in them. There were pictures of nude women in the drawers in the nightstand, I’m glad I wasn’t there with children! After that, I didn’t receive any maid service for two days even though I was out of my room all day on both of those days finally on the third day my towels were replaced, but I didn’t receive any hand towels or washcloths only bath towels. And they didn’t replace the toilet paper roll either so I had to go out in the hall and ask a maid to give me one. There were nicks and scratches in all the furnishings and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. Overall, the room was very shabby. The casino there also smells of cigarettes smoke while other casinos had pleasant fragrances. The only reason I gave it a two rating was because of the location.
Don’t stay here
Absolutely the worst hotel experience I have ever had, over an hour to check in. The bath had a poop stay and they refused to clean it even after asking several times. Literally a toilet. The hotel manager gave me a soliloquy about how he would fix it and did nothing. I would strongly recommend not staying here. What a dump.
A dump, plain and simple
We stayed four nights, our room was cleaned once despite pleas to the “virtual concierge “ by text every day. The hotel is dated, dark and overpriced. Have stayed at nine or ten hotels on the Strip and this one is either the worst or second worst. Stay somewhere else
French chaos
Hotel is nice / up to standard. However, the front desk / reception is a disaster. It took almost a 1 hour queue just to check in (automatic check-in doesn't work). Only three people there (for such a big hotel). Clerks do their best but reception is simply understaffed. Very unpleasant experience.
Horrible Experience
This is the worse hotel experience I've had. Poor customer service and long lines at check in (an hour at least). Calling guest services is a waste of time because you're redirected to stand in line and speak with someone at the front desk. I requested housekeeping at check in and never received it (4 day stay). I called housekeeping services twice and still didn't receive. I was told a housekeeping supervisor would stop by my room- that never happened. Room was outdated, dirty carpet and extremely smoky even though room type was non smoking. I was awakened every morning between 1-3 am due to loud conversations of other guests who were outside in the smoking area. Poor sound barrier. Restaurants are overly priced. Incidental hold on credit card was higher than stated. I'm waiting on the bank to confirm charges dropped. At check out, I had a balance even though bill was paid in full ahead of time. I stayed at Paris Las Vegas because it was the conference hotel. I've stayed at other Vegas hotels and had a better experience. I won't stay at Paris again.
Don’t waste your money!
Vastly overrated hotel. Had a 4 day stay and did not see housekeeping a single day. Finally called for clean towels and they were delivered. Of course they stepped over the dirty towels to set them on the bathroom vanity. No bathroom amenities ever refilled or replaced. Beds never made. The no exhaust fan working, musty smell and massive calcium buildup all around the shower. Don’t waste your money here, plenty of nicer places to stay
Messy, dated & unhelpful.
Although it’s perfect location wise, that’s truly the only positive thing we experienced. Day 1 our room was messy but after a 13 hour travel we just dealt with it and went to bed. Day 2 we came back to our beds remade but noticed they were the same bedsheets (we only know because accidentally spilled a drink on the sheet and it was still there on the “newly made bed”). The room wasn’t cleaned even though the beds were remade. Day 3 and 4 - room wasn’t cleaned. Day 4 we left at 7am assuming they’d clean the room (we made sure not to leave the sign on the door), only to come back at 4pm to no new towels, bed sheets, and a room that still wasn’t cleaned. We called and politely asked if we could have it cleaned, specifically our beds made due to the spill. They said they would “put us on a list” and be right there. 5 hours later, still nothing so we call again and inquire only for the person to say that they’ve left for the day and there’s nothing that can be done. So 4 days and we had the same bedsheets, towels and could very rarely get an answer from anybody at the hotel. We will never be back to this hotel. We spent more time at other hotels on the strip and would definitely opt to come to those next time. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.
Way too expensive
It’s really fun to come in Vegas, last time we came was on December 2022 and it still really really expensive way too expensive. At the hotel we pay $56.63 for resort fee for what?? The wait at check in /check out is way too long , the pool is still close and for a coffee is $7.99, small bottle of water at the casino if you don’t play is $8.00 and for Canadian it’s 30% more for a the rate exchange.. we should stop travelling for a while so they can try to welcome us with descent price
A Fantastic Vacation!
This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. No line at check-in! We had a choice of staying in the Bordeaux tower or the newly renovated Versailles tower. We opted for the Versailles tower. We had to walk to Horseshoe to get there, but it wasn't a problem for us as we all are walkers.. We checked in early and the room was new and beautiful! We had a view of the Eiffel Tower and pool. We could also see the water show at the Bellagio! Check out was easy at a kiosk located at the door of Horseshoe. I would definitely stay here again!
Don’t do it. Stinky stay.
Casino was fun and very pretty .. hotel.. NO. We had to be transferred from our room with a view of the pool and fountains after one night due to an ongoing sewer smell.. to a room in a different area with no view .. no apologies .. but said there was only a couple upgraded rooms available that we would need to pay an additional 150$ if we wanted a view..?? We had already PAID for a view! Just poor customer service and wasn’t impressed with the rooms’ overall cleanliness/upkeep. Also smelled smoky despite non smoking floor. Don’t recommend staying there..
