Tonight I had my first dinner here.
They were very busy but I didn't mind the wait. The food is just SO good. Their tahini and tzatziki are some of the best that I ever had. I had the 3 meat combo with salmon, lamb and steak. I had double Greek salad instead of rice and it was perfect! I love the ambiance of the place and it's really cool at dinner with all the Turkish lighting. Definitely one of the top 2 best restaurants in Jacksonville.
Had the chicken Shawarma sandwich and gyro sandwich.
Not bad, not great but not bad. They were out of garlic sauce, which was disappointing.

It was right on time. The food was absolutely delicious. Tasted very fresh. It was nice to have something out of the ordinary. The hummus was delicious. That tabouli was great. The pita bread was delicious. The falafel was perfect. We had falafel and hummus combo, we had the lamb and beef Shawarma. The lamb was really dry, but it had great flavor and the salad was delicious with the tahini, we also had the falafel sandwich which had great flavor. However, we ordered double rice and we only got a single serving . Everything was delicious. We would definitely be back. We've been there a few times now. It's nice to have Turkish Mediterranean food as an option here.

One of our "go to" spots in Jacksonville. The chicken shawarma is favorite.
First time , last time.
The waitress was like quasi moto and shuffling her feet back and forth from her bell tower. One of the waitresses spit on my neck when she talked . The food was ok.... My shawarma was drier than a bucket of sand and I had to dump all the sauces on it in order to choke it down my gullet. Drinks were good, meaning the water .... Which was probably tap.
Food is always delicious.
The cauliflower app is amazing. Greek salad is perfect! I always finish with a turkish coffee. Service is always prompt with competent and kind staff. I love the ambiance and low lighting with the unique decor and seating against the wall is my favorite.

Lots of parking in the lot. We were easily able to get a seat. The inside is nice with some fun decor! It was a lot bigger inside than I thought. Our waitress was very nice and friendly and she made some good recommendations! My mom and I split the appetizer platter. It was nice to try multiple different things! We liked them all and they went well together. We got hummus, falafel, tabouleh salad, and another appetizer. All were great! Falafel very crispy. We then split the lunch two meat platter with chicken and shawarma. Chicken was so delicious and juicy! Great seasoning. Rice and salad that came with it were great. I wish the portions were a little bigger. But food was delicious! Prices were average. About ~$32 for appetizer and lunch meal. We left very content!
Discrimination
We wanted to dine in this place that we found on TripAdvisor since it is next to the hotel but we were shocked by the behavior of a manager or the owner as well as the staff. We returned, a few tables were not cleared, we were looking for a clean one and none of the waiters took care of us. As soon as a foreign person showed up, the manager quickly found him a place by asking the number of people. What shocked us more was that no one on the staff tried to correct the error. Quite simply, I left there and I would never go back there again.

They are ok.
I've been there 4 times in the past 7 years (the last 3 because coworkers and friends want to go there). Their hummus was ok, but the last time all I could taste was tahini. I've had a couple of their entrees, but every time it just weighed heavy in my stomach for hours . I don't know why that when I eat there, afterwards I always feel heavy in the stomach and unwell for hours afterwards. The taste of their entrees (that I had tried) was amazing! But I can't get past that it is always difficult to digest. I can eat the heck out of spicy Mexican food--the spicier the better! But when food just sits in your stomach for 4-5 hours, I don't understand why it only happens at this place. There's a new place at the Marine Corps exchange, Mediterranean food that is also delicious and feels like "clean eats." Their shawarma doesn't make you feel heavy and a bit ill for hours after eating it.
Good food but uncomfortable
The food was great, but my teenage daughter felt uncomfortable by one of the staff members constantly stirring at her and spoiled the experience

Delicious steaks with good and friendly staff. You can sit inside and outside on the terrace. Food arrives quickly after ordering.
Solid, reliable food
We came for dinner and then the next day came back for lunch. Good service, clean place including the toilets. For dinner we had a couple of the dips (muhammara and hummous), the lahmacun, fillet steak. Steak cooked exactly as asked, decent fries. For lunch we had burgers, again cooked well. Could be seasoned better. The exotic mocktail was very nice. A full large cup of drink with no ice cubes as I assume it gets blended. Meant that you actually got a lot of drink, which then didn't water down as you usually get with mocktails. Decent price (2 burger meals with a mocktail and soft drink came to around £22).

Super fun. Great entertainment and wonderful food. Get the lamb shawarma! Also has a really good chocolate dessert.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
