The Savoy Hotel London Reviews from The Last Year
Wedding Anniversary celebration
Amazing experience, our waiter Nikko was attentive and informative of food choices, lovely, relaxed atmosphere, and we were presented with 2 mini chocolate mousses to enjoy later!
Amazing Afternoon Tea
Wow amazing Afternoon tea at this iconic hotel. The ambiance the food the staff could not fault any of it thoroughly recommend.
There Are Luxury Hotels & Then There's The Savoy
From the decor to dining, spa treatments to service, everyone and everything takes luxury hotel accommodation to another level. We didn't just stay in luxury we were treated like valued guests. Our stay in The Savoy was the best we've ever had in a hotel.
A classic London afternoon tea
Yesterday my afternoon tea was taken at the Thames Foyer, The Savoy. An exclusive excerpt from the new book, The Secret Life of the Savoy, describes London's Savoy Hotel as a celebrity (and royal) watering hole in the 1950s and '60s. Establishment and Ambience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thames foyer is situated right at the heart of The Savoy, where a stunning glass-domed atrium radiates natural light. A pianist plays in the center of the room under a beautiful gazebo. Level of Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Just like The Ritz, there is nothing to fault on the service, although I will be honest, I do think The Ritz just has that little extra. Napkins are placed in your lap, clean plates are brought out before you’re asked. We were also offered extra sandwiches. Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Firstly I want to mention there were so many options. They offer Vegan and Vegetarian afternoon teas, a regular afternoon tea or a high tea. The high tea came with an entree! It sounded delightful but we knew it would be way too much food. The sandwiches were divine but I wasn’t a fan of the two savories, personal choice, those fillings just weren’t for me. Unfortunately I wasn’t impressed with the scones, they were just too doughy for my personal taste. The petite fours were delightful. Tea and Tea Ware ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The first thing I’m going to say is sugar packets! That was a big no for me even if they did have Savoy on them. Lovely silver ware and the ceramics were all Wedgwood. We had both the Savoy blend and the earl grey, which were good. Value for money ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This afternoon tea was priced at just £80. In my honest opinion, again I would spend the extra £5 and take afternoon tea at the Ritz, if I had to select just one London afternoon tea. It was a very pleasant experience, I did have a great time, but The Ritz just offers so much more. Overall Score ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #AfternoonteareviewsbyLindsey
Magical 5 Stars at it's finest
We have been saving hard to experience the Savoy Hotel and on my 60th Birthday my wife and i finally stayed at the hotel for 2 nights eating at the Riverside Restaurant. I have to say the whole experience was magical from check in to check out. The staff are so friendly, professional and helpful. The food which included breakfast and dinner was a delight, the room was amazing and the little extras such as slippers by your bed, a relaxing bath scrub, an awakening scent just helped make the whole experience magical.
Addition to previous review
This is in Addition to my previous review as I forgot to mention a couple of people who are Ashraf and Mahmoud the other towel and pool men who were also wonderful and always helpful and smiling every day during our stay for the last two weeks. As well as Beshoy the pool waiter who works very hard and the two gentleman cleaners that cleaned 1123 so very well during our stay.
Amazing
Very nice hotel , staff very professional and friendly , check in was smooth and front desk very helpful and attentive , room was very nice and spacious , we enjoyed everything , the location was great we felt at home , definitely coming back next time .
Afternoon tea delight
Long awaited afternoon tea in the iconic River room lounge made even more special coinciding with the London marathon!a pre tea ! Tea and wine in the peaceful reading room pre waiting for our table to be readied.(very rare early arrival on our part) Service and ambience beautifully enhanced by our charming host Teng… whose service was graceful, warm and charming.Ditto the lovely front desk host Emma who communicated and organised our table with such welcoming and professionalism. Afternoon tea at the Savoy is a London must. Easily out gunning all previous attempts at the defining Afternoon tea experience around the UK . This is truly the guvnor! Lovely to enjoy the resident pianist adding a gentle back drop highlighting a brief Happy birthday to the excited recipients( including my dear very elderly mother) . A small cake and candle with a lovely card from the hotel was a wonderful suprise! The sandwiches and cakes are plentiful and on another level of skill and sophistication! And no extra charges incurred! Take note certain other establishments! The whole afternoon was made extra special by our host the utterly charming and splendid Guiseppe! He personified what mates the savoy special… it’s the people…Guiseppe was so kind and made my mums exp so so special, he explained the choice of teas ( the wonderful vanilla and red dragon) and composition of the sandwiches and savoury tartlettes. All in all an absolute joy we will return again as Savoy is our fave treat destination. The Grill is next! Maybe yours truly birthday Well done team and thank you for making a very special day even more special ! Take a bow Guiseppe!
Lunch
Didn't stay at the Savoy but had Lunch there. Food really good and the service second to none. Well worth a visit, even if it is a little on the expensive side.
Disappointing and old
We had a layover in London traveling back to the US on our honeymoon. We splurged on a suite at the Savoy. The staff was so lovely...except...after a dinner out in London, we came back to out room to the ceiling leaking. We called the main desk and they so lovely apologized...and that was it. No offer to change us to a new room or compensate us for a leaking ceiling - nothing. They said that they would get to it and it wasn't an emergency as it was not leaking on to our bed. Old, leaking, overpriced...spend your money elsewhere.

Legendary Hotel - founded by Caesar Ritz and the father of French food Escoffier. The first hotel with elevators and deep baths - heated towel racks & the bell system at this traditional English hotel One for your Valet , Waiter, Housekeeper. Even a bell pad in the bath , in case ur valet is needed to scrub ur back. It's decadent & and worth the hefty price of admission. The American bar and the Grille are sublime & understated- but the food and service is good as it gets ! It was a beacon , for old Hollywood Garbo ,Dietrich, Monroe , Gable , besides rock stars like David Bowie , Madonna, Michael Jackson. We saw George Peppard pull up in a Rolls & Richard Burton in his late years, in the Savoy Grille. Jane Seymour in the American bar. The suites are sumptuous with the handmade 25k beds. And crisp Egyptian beds cloths.

What an incredible experience! I have been fortunate to enjoy many beautiful hotels and resorts, yet this stay at the Savoy was just perfect. From check-in and the personal relationship we kicked off with the Head Doorman, the the check-in staff , and then my incredibly kind maid I have been overwhelmed by the wonderful, caring service that feels so very authentic. The room service staff too was excellent. The dining room staff on the restaurants we visited were also exceptional!! The spa!!! First off it's small yet beautiful and a wonderful place to except use, swim, and to use the steam room sauna, or to get a treatment. I don't often get s massage, we did book a massage together. My masseuse was as I shared in that post massage blissful moment, "like an angel from heaven" (and my wife was with me guys lol). My wife too remarked, I think that may have been the best massage I have ever had!! And she's had many more than I. The two ladies were delightful, caring, kind and incredible at what they do. On from Portugal, the other from South London. We adored you two!! This experience was so good we decided not to leave the hotel and to just savor the experience of The Savoy. Also the hotel is beautiful and well kept. Staff you are to be commended and all should feel such pride for the work you do, the authentic and kind care you share with your guests, and the Team you are at Savoy. Many thanks to good people!!
My niece, my friend and I had afternoon tea for my birthday
My niece, my friend and I had afternoon tea for my birthday at the Savoy, London. Our server, Ionie, was one of the best servers I have ever encountered. She was cheerful, sweet, solicitous, respectful and made for one of the most memorable meals I have ever had. The highest praises to her and to afternoon tea at the Savoy. What a wonderful experience.

This hotel is off the charts! I have stayed at some of the best hotels in the world and this is in my top 3 of all time. The grandeur and luxe lives up to the hype. There is no better trained hospitality staff that can rival it. From the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out, it was absolutely top notch, the best of the best. Our room was so utterly comfortable, it was difficult to leave it! The beds are handmade! Most comfortable bed I've slept in to date! The cocktail bars were wonderful, make sure you visit both the American bar and the Beaufort bar, each has a vibe and should not be missed. The Grill was a lovely dinner, perfect for celebrating special occasions, order the beef Wellington! And honestly the location can't be beat, you can walk everywhere.
We really enjoyed our recent stay in Savoy London.
The location is absolutely perfect- walking distance to all major attractions: Big Ben, Oxford Street, Piccadilly and various museums and galleries. Another big advantage was having several great restaurants in the same building. We visited all three restaurants located in the foyer and we were impressed with every meal. The check in was efficient and fast and the staff were true professionals. The room was beautifully decorated and very well stocked: drinks, coffee, tea, milk, etc. the bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding was high quality- just like you would expect from such a nice establishment. The front desk team was always available via text messages. They helped us with taxis, restaurant reservations, etc. I highly recommend the Savoy Hotel in London- it was perfect in every aspect.

That's what AT sponsorships are for - and you are only paying 25% in the first year and then less in year two and three.
I beliebe @EternalAnt36 was sponsored by @PerceptiveWash44 and is now doing $25k/mo.
You can write on the top sellers profiles (type 'Top 10' in the searchbar) and then tap request sponsorship button after you found the guy or gal like to work with!
