You cannot go wrong with the Justin cheeseburger. It has St Angel cheese on it (soft cheese like Brie), bacon jam and a bun to-die-for.
The truffle fries upgrade is worth the extra $5---the good sauce is on the bottom so dip your fries there!
Everything was great in terms of the food and of course, the wine. The service was horrific.
Larry was our server. It took over an hour for our burgers to arrive after we ordered them. I ordered medium rare. I got medium with avocado add-on. My husband got medium rare with no avocado but he ordered medium with avocado.
Twenty minutes after he had cleared our dishes, we are still waiting on the bill. We had to flag him down. Not sure if he is aware that people must make guaranteed reservations (some ask for credit cards and will charge you if you don't show up or are late) at wine tastings due to Covid-19. We had wineries to visit. Yet Larry was more interested in us having a 2.5 hr lunch.
We were late to our Halter Ranch tasting that was at 3:00. (NOTE--our reservation at Justin was at 12:45). Yeah, that's slow service, especially for burgers.
I've not left under 15% TIP in a long time, especially since folks are struggling in the restaurant industry. But this time I did. Our friends left 10% TIP. They were steamed at the bad service.
The weather was very warm but the staff did a great job of keeping us cool with fans. The tables were socially distanced and staff wore masks.
