This place was very good.
Great place to hang out with my son and have a lunch date. Ambiance - This location is pretty new so everything was still clean and shiny. I liked how they had the snacks on display. Not sure if you can purchase them or not, and I forgot to ask. Food/Drinks - Amazing! I find it interesting how some Korean BBQ spots cook for you while others allow you to do the cooking. Here they cook for you. Service - Friendly. I like how we were asked if we wanted to take our time or if we wanted everything to come out quickly. Overall, great place. If I had to complain about anything, it would be about the cheese corn. I would rather have it baked than put on the grill because the cheese ends up burning on the bottom. Otherwise, really good!!

I've gone to many Japanese & Korean BBQ places & this is definitely one of the nicer ones. The portions are great & the price is reasonable. The servers were extremely attentive, almost too attentive. Part of the reason you go to KBBQ place is to do it yourself, how you want to do it, but the waiters kept coming over & cooking it for us, which was kind but slightly annoying. Still excellent experience, will definitely be back.

A pretty decent All-You-Can- Eat (AYCE) that has an asian fusion twist on Korean BBQ (ie. Honey Masala Chicken, etc.). The staff do all the cooking for you tableside. So minimal hands on, if you like to grill your own. Waiters were pretty knowledgeable about the food. Volume on the K-pop music wasn't amped up, so you can actually talk to your friends. This makes it a good place for a fisrt date too. We love the Honey Butter Squid. The bulgogi, pork belly and shrimp were also good. They charge extra if you want more rice. Be the first to ReplyThis is the only KBBQ that we always go to.
Our server Yoon was very friendly and efficient. He made it a pleasant experience by always checking up on us and making sure we were okay.

With a very popular korean bakery next door(need to come back and try it, lines were 45 minutes backed up). Qui is qui qui delicious, for the $35 option you get quite a variety of different meats. Just missing 6 more high end options which brings it to almost $60 pp. SO and i just got the $35 which was more than enough. They bring out a generous portion for 2. We both love to eat, but we don't eat much haha. The banchan sides were good, and compliments iron ages sides. I LOVE THE POTATO SALAD. so I was so happy they had that and weren't stingy with additional offerings. Cheese corn was a plus too. The meats were great wish they offered seasoned steak though... the only thing i would recommend is that the server asks about meat temps. A lot of our meats were overcooked and i had to keep guiding him through that. He just left it on the grill... 90 minutes of eating time which is plenty for us. If it wasn't so far it would be on top of my kbbq lists.

Visited for dinner recently after wanting to try this place for a while. Located conveniently off route 50 with ample parking and a nice atmosphere. We did the ultimate AYCE and it was about $40 a person. They had a variety of options and I liked seeing some different ones on here like honey butter squid and honey butter masala chicken. Sides were great and I loved the pickled radish. Overall, quick service and good food - I'd come back.

This kbbq is right next to me and I unfortunately have not been able to go there as much as I like, but I would definitely recommend checking this place out. The QUI offers AYCE for $36 per person & you can also make it a PREMIUM experience by opting for their "Premium" Selection of $55 per person. The only major downside to this location is their parking; if you get lucky, you can find parking right out front, but if you're unlucky- then you might have to park by Patient First at the other side of the block. If you're extremely unlucky, you might have to find parking at CVS which is on the other block. Despite the parking situation, and the occasional wait times- I think the QUI is worth it. The Fatty Brisket, Top Blade Steak, and their Honey Butter Squid are my top favorites. I'm pretty sure that I have never been to a kbbq that offers radish soup or fried rice as a complimentary side so that was a great plus! I also saw on their menu that they offer a Lunch Special M-F with some appetizing entrees so I might have to check that out soon as well! In all, I highly recommend checking out the QUI. Just give them a call first to check on their wait time, and make sure you come about 20-30 minutes earlier if you want good parking !

QUI Fairfax consistently provides an exceptional dining experience, boasting top-notch meats and attentive service. Their menu favorites like the Top Blade Steak and Beef Radish Soup always impress. Despite the occasional challenge of finding parking, they efficiently accommodated our group of 6 without delay. The Marinated Prime Short Rib and squid were absolute highlights, showcasing exquisite flavor and expert preparation. Looking ahead, we're eagerly anticipating our return visit, contemplating the possibility of exploring the premium AYCE option to further indulge in their delectable offerings.
Be the first to ReplyAlways have a great experience at QUI Fairfax.
We believe their meats are good quality for a reasonably priced AYCE. Also always had good, quick service. Great: We really enjoyed the Top Blade Steak, Spicy Pork Bulgogi, cumin pork belly, Beef Brisket, Beef Radish Soup!!, and Orange Beef Bulgogi (only order if you like sweet meat) . Okay: We didn't think the honey butter chicken had very much flavor

Overall: 5/5! Parking: longish medium size parking lot that can get crowded during weekends and dinner time. Not too bad. We had a reso of 12 ppl and were seated immediately! Thank you :) the server was very nice and so patient. I didn't get pictures of the meat but all of the plates were great in quality and quantity for our group of people. Salad is good. Didn't really try any of the other side dishes. They seemed super busy so our rice came out a bit later than usual. Server had a good pace with us with bringing the meats and when to order more! Really appreciated that haha. I love qui, I'm glad they opened one here in Fairfax so i don't have to make the drive to chantilly :) I hope they do well! Props to the server for taking care of this crazy bunch.

Went with a large party to celebrate two birthdays during lunch on a weekend. Qui has a sophisticated look but is still fairly casual, k-pop hits blasting and Korean tourist attraction tours on the TV. We did the #3 AYCE option. Our server was kind even when she was frantically busy which was much appreciated. She made sure our grill was changed when it needed to be and checked in multiple times, offering refills on the banchan and urging us (in a friendly manner, haha) to order more. We tried almost everything from the meat menu and enjoyed everything. I will say I'll probably pass on the honey butter squid next time. I usually love squid and it wasn't bad, but perhaps a bit too plain for my liking. We mentioned to our server that we had two birthday girls and she brought over lemon drop shots for them! Service was outstanding and food was great, will be back again when I'm in the area to try the more premium cuts of meat!

Best service I've ever had, huge kudos to Zach for the attentiveness. Food came out super fast and the lychee milky cocktail was delightful. Waited around 30 minutes for a party of 7 on a Sunday night. Will recommend and will be returning.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is located in a small strip mall.
Parking is tight when it's busy, I had to park at the 7-11 at the other end of the strip mall. That being said that's where the disappointment ended. Once walking in the ambience was great. Someone was there to greet us as well as let know what waiting times were like. We got seated in about 10 minutes which was much faster then the 30 minutes we got quoted.Food was great and the drinks really do look like on the pictures. We were afraid we would have to order two meat platters (each platter is for two) since we had three people, however the portions were surprisingly large and all three of us left stuffed with food to spare. All in all I really enjoyed the spot and plan to come back.

We were greeted with an incredibly pleasant hostess, and all service throughout was polite and accommodating. Our drinks were never empty, and they always helped make sure if we wanted any additional meats or to assist with cooking them. My friend and I arrived around 6:45 or so with only a small handful of tables taken at that point. It did start getting much busier around 7:30.My friend and I frequent a couple different kbbq places in the area, and this was by far the best yet. We highly recommend the brisket, which was incredibly tender, buttery, and moist. The pork belly and pork bulgogi were also amazing. The pork bulgogi had a good spice to it, which I tend to find is usually milder before you add your own sauces but this one was good spicy! We also ordered the orange beef, which was more sweet in flavor. This was unique and not bad, but I definitely preferred the other orders of meats. Most of the fat we came across were not the hard fat, but the good buttery kind. Overall, the meat quality definitely seemed better than what you might typically find at AYCE. The meats were so flavorful and tender. Service was outstanding. We will definitely be back!
Be the first to ReplyBy far the best Korean BBQ place I've been to.
First and certainly not my last time going. Nick, my server, was genuinely nice and very assertive with my table. The ambience was very warm and comforting and I can't wait to come back! Just food for thought if you go, ask for Nick!

Went there last night at 8pm, was in the queue about 30 mins but worth it!! There was way much better service over here compared to the one in Chantilly. Meat was better too. We couldnt order much, but spicy octopus always a must for me when I go there. Love Love Love korean bbq. Will be there again for sure.
Be the first to ReplyFood was mediocre at best.
They also charge kids' pricing by height and not by age.

From looking at the reviews, it seems rusty had an awful experience. My waiter was Nick and he was most definitely not like anything Rusty had described. He made my entire night and always checked up on me. This guy had like 5-6 tables at a time and he was giving great customer service. The food was great but I'd come back just to get waited by Nick

NEVER GOING AGAIN!! I recently visited Qui, a Korean BBQ restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by the terrible service provided by our server, Nick. Throughout the entire meal, Nick was extremely unattentive, and it felt like he was intentionally ignoring us.First off, our drinks took an incredibly long time to arrive, and we had to repeatedly remind him because it seemed like he completely forgot we were his table. I understand that servers can get busy, but it was a Sunday night, and it wasn't that crowded. There came a point where another server from the other side of the restaurant had to serve us because she had noticed Nick's lack of service. When it came to our food, Nick barely checked in on us, and we had to repeatedly ask him to bring us refills of side dishes and sauces. It was as if we were bothering him by asking for his help. It's incredibly disappointing when a restaurant that is well-known for its Korean BBQ dishes fails to deliver something as simple as basic customer service. Nick's lack of attention and care ruined our evening, and we left feeling unsatisfied and frustrated. It's a shame that such a poorly managed restaurant like Qui employs servers like Nick, who clearly have no regard for their customers' experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I definitely will not be returning.
Be the first to ReplyWent to Qui on a Sunday night as a party of 6.
The food was solid but the service was questionable. We asked our server Nick multiple times to get our sauces/side dishes refilled. Eventually an entirely different server came to our table to refill the items. I understand forgetfulness when its busy, but it was a Sunday night at 8pm. We also cooked our own meats(which we wanted to) so our server didn't have to come to the table as much but even then the service was pretty lackluster. Once we left the restaurant I noticed I got charged for 3 Gingerales even though I was the only person that ordered soda. I assume our server either punched it in each time I asked and just never brought it out or Qui does not offer refills on soda, which either way is pretty bad. Overall the food is decent but between getting 3 charges on a soda and having to ask our server multiple times for basic things like sauces and sides I probably would not come back.
