Worth the try
The food was pretty good, although pricey but its Vegas, the staff were pretty friendly and attentive, I would comeback here.
Be the first to ReplyVery expensive, underwhelming
The tip off to what was to come was ordering $20 tin of bread for the table. The butter was good, the bread not so much. It was downhill from there as the next course was a tasteless, mushy shrimp cocktail. The crab cake had little flavor. We will not return here on our next trip to Las Vegas.

We love Martha so I was super excited to visit her restaurant, the host staff we so sweet (even upgraded our table) but our waiter was pleasant but short and not really hospitable. We spent $135 for the perogies ($30), squash blossoms, butternut salad and pumpkin pie. Brown butter perogies were good but not $30 good, salad was dressed deliciously. The disappointment was with the deep dish pumpkin pie. It’s not deep dish, it’s a tart. I think ours was old because the crust wasn’t crisp, the meringue had an off flavor and the pie filling was weeping (losing water). I don’t think we’ll return unfortunately.

Was seated quickly as restaurant wasn’t busy for obvious reasons. Extremely over priced mediocre tasteless food. $20 for basket of bread. Drinks were poured short, Minestrone soup was literally tasteless. Asked for Med cooked meat and came out raw with just a sear. Incredibly overpriced and low quality. Yes, Martha would be embarrassed to eat here. Wasted time and $
Be the first to ReplyMartha would be so ASHAMED!
Martha would be SO embarrassed. Horrible is the best I can say. First, the food. It’s obviously overpriced, this is Vegas. And I don’t mind paying more for good food. I ordered the Caesar salad and coffee. The best part of the Caesar was the mini croutons. And they weren’t great- but better than the rest of the salad. Flavorless, only a minimum of Parmesan sprinkled on top. And it needed pepper, but none was on the table, and the waitress never came by to offer any, or ask if more Parmesan was needed (it was). The coffee was ABYSMAL! I have never tasted coffee so bitter in my life! And so strong that an ENTIRE serving of ‘creamer’ BARELY made the coffee a light brown. AWFUL! When I did catch the server, she apologized, and said she would brew a new pot. But she forgot, and after I had finished what I could eat of the salad, only then did the coffee show up. And it was only marginally better.

Great experience! Sat in the ‘Brown Room’ food was delicious and well presented. Great ambiance and service. Reservation process at Open Table was confusing.

Amazing experience, wait staff, and food! Beautiful restaurant and the bread basket was awesome. The squash salad was delicious and everything was perfect

Spectacular food. Looks exactly like her home. She is personally invested in the success of this place - it isnt just a licensing play. Ive eaten here twoice almost a year apart and she has been here both times. It is expensive. Food and drinks sublime. The make an excellent dirty martini, very good wine list. Tomahawk steak and strip both delicious. As is the roast chicken. Bread basket and smashed potato not to be missed.
Be the first to ReplySUB PAR FOOD Not Worth the Trip or the Price : (
My kids and I were in Vegas for the Fontainbleau opening last month. My daughter begged me to go to The Bedford rather to shake things up and see more of the area. We have been big Martha fans for decades and have appeared on her show (back in the day) and our friends are neighbors of her home in Bedford, NY. We were hoping for a great meal. Well, what an awful surpise to have ridiculously over salted food. Mind you, we are not drinkers and as cooks we know the old trick. Over slat the food and the customers will drink more!!! EVERYTHING was over salted - the appetizers were frozen and the mashed postatoes were stiff from sitting out for hours in a warming tray. The chicken was mediocre and very over priced. Lastly, the restaunrant is nearly all gray- very drab and dull but I did love the copper pots and pans in the kitchen. Feels like an airport restaurant : ( We love Martha and all she does but she needs to know what's happening in Vegas. JUST GROSS how her patrons are being played.
Be the first to ReplyPricey and disappointing food
My expectations were high - after all, it's Martha Stewart. The space, the ambience, the service - all great. However the food ... was disappointing. The Ricotta Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms were good but presentation was not impressive. The Bouillabaisse was so bland - and a pricey $59.95 which made me that more disappointed. My boss enjoyed the Honey Mustard Glazed Salmon $46.95. The restaurant is just 7 months old, so there is still room to improve.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful food & nice restaurant :)
Our girls trip of three had a wonderful experience at Martha's restaurant. I had read the reviews and it seemed lots of people said get the bread basket. We did, it was great, We each got a different menu item and then shared so we could experience all of it. We got the scallops, which were wonderful, theFettuccine Alfredo with Périgord Trufe, which was pretty good, Honey Mustard Glazed Salmon (I did not try but daughter said it was good) and the smashed baked potato. Not sure the potato is worth it. The ambience is really nice and we enjoyed our dinner there. Would we go again, not sure as it is very expensive, I probably would go back for the scallops and the bread. The drinks were good too. :) https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g45963-d24957046-r873687744-The_Bedford_by_Martha_Stewart-Las_Vegas_Nevada.html#Terr

My husband and I had dinner at the Bedford last evening at Paris Las Vegas. The food, ambiance and service far exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend you try it if you have the opportunity to do so.
Be the first to ReplyThe open table system for reservations is losing business for Martha
The only way to make reservations is through Open Table. We couldn’t get a table for 6 until 9:45. So we made reservations at Nobu. When we walked by The Bedford was half empty. We went in and I had a delicious Martha-tini but we wanted to impress our business guests at The Bedford so I was disappointed.

I got the zucchini app and it was so delish! Mac and Cheese was yummy! Scallops were BOMB! Prices are reasonable. Great atmosphere made me feel really comfy.

The restaurant itself is very lovely. A bit loud up front but we sat in the back room which was pleasant. I won't go into details as to prices as they detailed in other reviews. The food is OK. The service is SLOW. Not our waiter's fault but there was about 15-20 minutes between taking a course away and getting the next course. That means if you elect the prix fixe menu you are going to be there for a few hours. We were served at least 15 minutes after a table that came in after us and ordered after us. My husband had the fixed menu, I had the Couscous Royale. Both main courses were very average. The Pierogis were good. The breadbasket was beautiful. Too much for 2 people. Pictured it is half eaten! Unlikely to return. Not worth the price .

Pro: Nicely done restaurant, farm house style. It does feel like you are in a foodie home, if your a multimillionaire, it was simple and elegantly decorated. We ordered appetizers, shrimp cocktail. Bread basket, and another panka breaded appetizer, it was good. Our party of 5, loved their food, I ordered the red endive salad and it was delicious. Everyone seemed to like the food, dessert and drinks we ordered. Cons: Made reservations and still had to wait an hour, it was embarrassing as we had clients.

I suggest you disassociate youself and your name, Martha Stewart, with The Bedford Restaurant in Las Vegas. My daughter and I just had dinner there tonight and were very disappointed. Thinking of you and your personna as a "perfectionist", I believe you, also, would not have been very happy. A half-chicken for $49.95 made us think it must be so exceptional to command such an exorbitant price. Instead, it was very salty and nothing to brag about. On the level of maybe a Costco roasted chicken; however, you get a WHOLE chicken from Costco and it's quite inexpensive and not overly salted. The Scallops with lemon risotto was the other entree. The scallops were properly cooked; however, the risotto was absolute MUSH. There was barely a rice texture at all. Similar to minute rice overcooked for 20 minutes. The restaurant's atmosphere was like being in a sports bar...noisy with a huge bar and TVs right in the center. I have lived in Las Vegas for over 50 years. I have seen famous chefs and retauntours plant their names on so many eateries in this town, and most of them have been so very disappointing. I guess the mentality is that tourists will come and go so they don't have to try harder to please everyone else, especially the locals. So sad!

Martha Stewart taught me how to cook. I have enjoyed her publications and shows. When I saw that she recently opened a restaurant in Vegas I was excited to visit. She did not disappoint! From the custom fresh cocktails to dessert we enjoyed every bite. I ordered the Meyer Lemon Drop and my husband has the Martha-rita. Both were fresh and smooth. Next we had the bread basket. Wow! 3 varieties and I couldn't pick a favorite.. all delicious! My husband had Big Martha's pierogi's and I had the fettuccine Alfredo. Again, all delicious flavors. We also had the smashed potato, prepared table side. The best we have had. We ordered the Milk chocolate pistachio tart for dessert. It was smooth and rich. I highly recommend this restaurant. Service was kind and attentive.
Be the first to ReplyAsk to be seated at bar or inside restaurant
How do I review this place? I was there Christmas night & let's start with the service -- 20 minutes before a waitress came to the table & 25 minutes for a glass of wine--but once waited on -- waitress was informative and pleasant. The meal itself was very good. I had the bread basket and the short rib ragu which was delicious & the meat very tender. My problem is I was seated in the outer section right beside the walkway to Bally's and Paris. Many people stopped to ask how it was or what I was eating & then we had the drunk guy that kept coming to the railing to dance. It was very loud in this area & I just felt I would have enjoyed my meal more if I had been sitting inside or at the bar. I would give it another try because the food was very good & I think once they work out the kinks of being a fairly new restaurant, they will do better. However, I will definitely ask to be seated elsewhere than the outer portion of the restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyCute place but a letdown for dinner @ The Bedford
Place is decorated very Martha which we enjoyed. Drinks were expensive even for Vegas ($ 22.95) but made well. Drink service was extremely slow. We were sat outside the bar and could see our drinks both times just sitting on the bar. Took our server, Curtis, a long time to pick all drinks up. A patron at another one of his tables went up to the bar and grabbed their drinks themselves. He was very friendly and informative but very, very slow. The bread basket is huge but we felt the need to try it with just 2 of us and it was so fresh and tasty. We waited forever for our short rib dish & pierogies which unfortunately came a cool temp. Our Brussels sprouts were delayed. The entrees were well made but temperature was unacceptable. When the Sprouts came they were so salty they were inedible. We had those remade and it was relayed to us the chef was in agreement and immediately talked to the kitchen staff about it to get it corrected for future orders. Now whether that happened or not, who knows, but we felt validated in our opinion . Our bill was adjusted for the dish issues and the manager came over to apologize which was appreciated. Maybe a visit after they are open a little longer will produce better service.
