There's no way this restaurant received star from Michelin. Not even guide. Soup was just ok, spaghetti Neri was a disaster. It was fishy, and even spaghetti itself wasnt cooked right. One of the worst dish I had. Well it's a museum restaurant. But really, don't dine
Be the first to ReplyCame here for valentines dinner fare.
From my understanding Terzo typically only offers lunch. I had a great experience in general because it was a special day with my girlfriend, but I wouldn't do it again here. Come here for lunch and enjoy the museum. It was clear that the staff did not know how to work the busy dinner event. There were several times when incorrect items came to our table which was interruptive. Overall the food was good but not at the $300 price point (food and drinks). Grab a quick bite for lunch and call it a day.

Valentine's Day Dinner can only be described as a comedy of errors. To start, we waited 25 minutes to be seated for our 8PM reservation. The five course meal included waiters bringing us other people's food and plating us with it multiple times. Our wine pairings did not arrive in a timely manner in coordination with their respective courses. At one point we had 3 glasses of wine in front of us, a cold main course and our cold pasta which was suppose to proceed the main course but it arrived in the middle of the main course. An experience that cost 230$. Management clearly was understaffed and does not know how to organize a fine dining experience. Great concept. Poor execution. I truly am disappointed in this experience and was looking forward to this evening for several weeks.

Slow kitchen, busy but not crazy busy. Great choice if not in a rush

Very very disappointed in the Valentines Day Couples dinner experience. Not worth the $200 price tag. Night at the museum, elegant dinner, live music, sounds romantic right? Instead we had to wait for our table without any drinks because the bar was out of order. The violinist was okay but played music off her iPad most of the time. Appetizers were very small(two oysters the size of plankton and tiny crackers with a dab of truffle)... we waited one hour for our ravioli and then it came out cold. seconds after we received the ravioli, they gave us our main course dishes. which we were supposed to get a sorbet in between but never did...waiter just forgot. the rib filet was cold, certainly sat in the kitchen for over 20 minutes until I had to ask the waiter where is our food. My fiancée ordered the roasted cauliflower which was a Main dish... this was basically a head of cauliflower sprinkled with siracha sauce and thrown in the oven. On top of that, this was cold too. The "tiramisu" was a strawberry ice cream cake. Although I thought it tasted fine. Views were awful, the room was lit up like an art gallery, my fiancée's gimlet cocktail tasted like soap. Hefty price for an experience like this one and a not so romantic dinner we will both never forget :(

The waitstaff are friendly and helpful. However, the woman in charge of the front desk at lunch was inexplicably mean and difficult. The restaurant was far from full, maybe 2/3 occupied, even counting only the tables in the open portion of the restaurant (the back was closed off). The front desk woman nevertheless insisted that there was no space available for an hour, at 2:30. A quick check on Open Table showed plenty of available reservations, including one 5 minutes from the time I looked. I booked it and went back to the front desk. The same woman said I would have to wait "because the table wasn't ready yet." I waited those five minutes while she stared at me, and I saw no changes in the restaurant, except the passage of time. At the end of the 5 minutes, we were shown to our table, with a snarky comment from the woman at front desk. It all seemed unnecessarily petty.

Came here for a work holiday party and the room is beautiful. Beautiful flooring and glass looks past the historic IC tracks and over and onto Michigan Avenue. The food is good. Mini cheeseburgers w garlic aioli. Cheese spinach tortellini. Pasta. Lamb and chicken skewers. Very good tatsiki sauce. Mini desserts of pies and brownie bites. A great venue for gatherings.

.. not sure about that. My friend and I dined there for lunch during a delightful day at the museum. We decided to share a bottle of wine. The server poured our glasses (without first showing us the bottle or giving us tastes) and we immediately knew it wasn't what we ordered. We asked that she take it back and serve us our original request. Then the manager came over and instead of apologizing, gave us the 3rd degree to verify that we weren't trying to scam them! Wow. The food was ok but the unexpectedly bad service overshadowed the entire experience. Michelen- you need to update your listings!

You're probably thinking "Marv, of course this place isn't going to be good, it's a tourist trap." Hey, I know that but let me explain! ...I had a gift card. The charcuterie is the most basic board I have ever encountered. The menu is small, uninspired, drab, and lacking meat options. The seafood stew today was not a stew at all and only featured mussels. The special Warhol "Spam" dish did not come with braised pork as listed on the menu on the website. What is the special and unique Warhol "Burger" you ask? A beef patty with LTO and cheddar... so the most basic burger possible. If someone drags you here I would advise on just buying a bottle of red wine and skipping the food all together.
