Such a pretty and nice place to eat.
I did not take photos of my steak but it was delicious and the shrimp ceviche was my favorite, it was so good. Service was amazing our waiter Mike was sweet, he gave us good recommendations and was always checking in on us. I will be coming back here for sure.
Be the first to ReplyTeak is a great spot to visit, if you are able! After a day
Teak is a great spot to visit, if you are able! After a day of perusing downtown St. Petersburg or the shops off Beach Drive. Finish your day with a stroll down the pier and catch a beautiful view of the sunset with a cold beverage up top at Pier Tiki, then make your way down to the second floor to eat at Teak for dinner. Highly recommend making reservations! I do have to knock them a bit on this, but overall I'll preface that it was still a lovely experience. I DID make reservations - it was my anniversary, so I was sure to make them well in (2 months) advance. I noted in the reservation that it was my anniversary and I would like a table by the windows to watch the sunset. I even called the restaurant a week ahead to confirm they had the res and noted the request. When we arrived, the hostess was initially going to sit us right in the front where everyone had to walk by - nowhere near the window and not facing it, for sure. I mentioned the reservation and asked if she could please seat us at one of the three clearly available tables along the window front and she said we had to walk back to the front and wait. We then got seated on the other side of the restaurant (by a window), but it was around the corner so no sunset view. I don't mean to rag, but I was chapped. This was my first, much-anticipated visit and a very important celebration... The manager, Kristen, came over after we got seated and I asked about the reservation situation. She explained that the other tables were also reserved and that she did see my note, apologizing for the inconvenience. We were still sat in a nice spot and it was isolated with a pretty view of the ocean, so again, not terrible, but not the romantic sunset vibes I was trying to setup. Kristen was kind enough to comp our bread, which leads me into the food... YUM!!! The bread is a MUST! The infused butters and warm bread that is made in a hot, cast iron pan is legit. I'd include a pic, but it didn't last that long! The salad (also not pictured) was pretty basic. Good sized to split between two, then we shared the seafood pasta. HOLY PORTION! (Pic was half of it) Not only was it delicious enough you'd wanna lick the bowl, but they split it into two for us and we were beyond satisfied with plenty more still in our bowls. Margarita and French 75 were right on-par. A little expensive, but delicious - nothing over the top noteworthy. Scenery behind the drinks made them better... Not sure if the interaction early on promoted an increased level of service and food quality or if that's just how they roll, but I'd absolutely be willing to go back and give it another go to find out! Giving a 3-star rating now and will update after visit #2, soon!
Be the first to ReplyI had an incredible experience! The Brussel sprout
I had an incredible experience! The Brussel sprout appetizer was perfectly crispy and flavorful, setting the tone for a fantastic meal. The short ribs were tender and rich, leaving me completely satisfied. And let's talk about the pineapple upside down cake - it was a delightful end to the meal, bursting with flavor. My waitress said it tastes like Christmas and she was right! The atmosphere was inviting with a great view, and the service was top-notch. I can't wait to return to Teak for another amazing dining experience!
Be the first to ReplyThe food was outstanding.
Every bite was flavorful. The location does add to the ambiance. You could enjoy the view sitting at the bar or inside. The place was booked and with no tables to spare. The bar was a great spot. The bartender was very helpful and made a wonderful Old Fashioned. The food was on time and perfect. Glad I celebrated my birthday there. Keep up the good work. Will definitely be back.

So glad we found this place! It is absolutely beautiful with a gorgeous view. The service was outstanding. We both have food sensitivities and our waitress was all about helping us make choices that worked for our dietary needs. And, the food was excellent. I had the fish tacos and my husband had the grouper sandwich. Both were delicious. Can't wait to go back!!

Such an incredible restaurant, view is amazing, food is always a hit and the service is great.

For the price relative to the quality of the food and considering the location is this giant buding near the Pier, I had a wonderful time at Teak here in St. Pete. They were upfront about the 20% service charge mandated on all bills, which was explained and much appreciated. The food definitely beat my expectations. I ordered the fish tacos with Mahi Mahi and Chipotle Alioli which were excellent and my partner ordered the Steak Frites with a Greek Chimichurri sauce that really sealed the deal. Overall, I highly recommend making the walk or trolley all the way out to Teak for a nice daytime lunch. Huge shout-out to our server Donna who was very helpful and made the service all the merrier! Until the next visit Teak!

If you're looking for a nice place to eat, this is one of them it has great views of the city and water. Make sure to come if you can. The service was very good but there was a service fee of $20 which is OK. The people were extremely nice. The food was great too. No complaints.

The trio was 10/10 and Sheldon and Brad are the best bartenders in St Pete. Can't beat the view!

I choice to come here on my birthday , as the view is beautiful the service is awful as they already take off the 20% gratuity, it definitely shows within the servers attitude that don't care about giving a good experience. I didn't like my food it's was awful and the manager came over and continued to argue with me saying I should've looked at the menu better. I do not recommend coming to this restaurant awful servers and managers.
Be the first to ReplyBF took me here for my birthday dinner.
Overall, great dining experience. Service was excellent on a busy Monday evening. The food was YUM! Iordered the crusted Mahi. The fish was cooked to perfection, dish pairings was fantastic and had a sense of southern comfort deliciousness! It is an exceptional meal when your leftovers taste just as good the next day and you want more! The BF ordered the short rib, which was my second choice, and it was tender with savory flavors. The Teak Punch is good but slightly on the sweeter side, even with ice to water it down. The ambiance is elegant, can be romantic, and has a lovely view of St. Pete city lights. I was really impressed with the execution and presentation of the food! Hats off to the chef/cooks and our waiter (unfortunately don't remember his name to highlight). The food tasted like a fine dining experience and better than most high-end restaurants that I have been to in the Bay Area. Please maintain the standards. I'll be a regular and bring family and friends too!
Be the first to ReplyThis place has every excuse to be a tourist trap.
..But it is fabulous! Located at THE END of the Pier on St Pete, Teak has gorgeous views and even better food. Started with the mimosa bucket ($37) and our server would stop by to refill our glasses with the bottle or bubbles that comes with it. Our server, Kat, suggested the grouper sandwich and it was delicious. Started with the fish spread that came with plenty of crackers to enjoy. Give your self at-least 15 minutes between finding parking and walking to the end of the pier if you have a reservation.

My favorite restaurant in all of Tampa - I've been here for 2 years and I don't go anywhere else for fun vibes and exquisite dinner - no comparison!!!
Be the first to ReplyPerfect birthday dinner! From their greet at the host
Perfect birthday dinner! From their greet at the host stand, to excellent service and spectacular food... Then the VIEW!! Well, you cannot duplicate it anywhere else in St. Pete! We will definitely be back!
Be the first to ReplyWe stopped in for a drink after strolling along the pier
We stopped in for a drink after strolling along the pier one balmy evening after dinner at Pizza Box on Central.Plenty of people enjoying their meals and cocktails outside overlooking the St. Pete skyline. Great place to take out of town guests for the view. Would not choose this place as a sole destination though.
Be the first to ReplyGreat location & view of Tampa Bay and downtown St.
Pete at the end of the redeveloped Pier area. Friendly service and very kid friendly. The clam chowder was the best I ever had - savory & rich, delicious! So far above the standard chowder you tend to get at most restaurants.Hangar steak cooked perfectly as requested - charred and very rare!
Be the first to ReplyWe made a reservation for 4:45 on a Wednesday.
We were greeted by a very stressed out hostess that was dismissive and catering to the older crowd that was giving her a hard time. If you are headed out for a relaxing dinner experience I would avoid this place. If you want the feeling of having a dinner with a bunch of stressed out older relatives with a nice view this is the place for you. We left without trying the food. There are some other very nice options just off the pier with friendly staff and a much more welcoming atmosphere. See my review for Bacchus right down the street.
Be the first to ReplyLove this place.
The views are spectacular with food and drink to match. I'm not one for fancy fu fu drinks but our server suggested the 24 carrot cocktail and OMG! i actually had two! It had fresh squeezed carrots and ginger among other delicious ingredients. The food was amazing, everything was on point. After lunch we headed up stairs for another drink at Pier tiki. I just love this spot. Great for locals, or tourists alike. Also a great spot to bring family and friends visiting as the views are phenomenal and a great way to see the city skyline.

..we loved our experience at this restaurant overall and enjoyed our night, but can't give 5 stars because, truthfully, a lot went wrong. However, we can give 3 stars because we still did enjoy our meal, our time there and especially the ambiance. The view was beautiful, the decor in the restaurant is pretty and really interesting...especially the maps made of glass or acrylic above the large table. Staff were polite and refined. Unfortunately my salmon and 2 burgers others in my party ordered all arrived well done when we requested medium rare. The burger buns were somewhat hard and not the keiser rolls advertised. My father's burger had no mayo on it as advertised, I never received peanut cream sauce which is why I chose the salmon, chips were almost burnt and everything was a bit bland and we would have preferred some salt and pepper to add but no one ever came by to check on us so we just ate everything the way it was. My dad requested our candle on the table be lit and the waiter said he would but never did. It was still enjoyable just not really epic as we hoped. The key lime pie for dessert was on the small side but tasted good. It was a nice time still and hopefully the kinks get worked out eventually.
Be the first to ReplyA good place to eat overlooking the bay.
2nd story with views and great food and drinks. No need to dress up, but also could be used as a date night. Had the Teak Punch and Tea Thyme (gin, thyme, and jasmine syrup) as drinks and for food we had the crab cake for appetizers and Personal Paella and Fish and chips. All was very good. Great service, food, and views.
Be the first to ReplyService was really bad.
We made reservations and were seated for a table of 4 max when we had 5 people. The steak and burger arrived undercooked and cold, it lacked flavor and dressings on the food were skimpy. The special requests were not fulfilled (ranch dressing, cherries on dessert) and the server spilled ketchup on our guests white pants. We will not return.
Be the first to ReplyFood was great and service was awesome.
Mama D is the best server. I had a surprise birthday luncheon for my husband. Everything went perfectly! Shrimp and grits and the fish tacos awesome!
Be the first to ReplyBrunch was great.
Wait time was short and the service was excellent. I'll definitely come back here for brunch
Be the first to ReplyI so wanted to love this place.
The views are amazing, the food is average, and the service was terrible. From the minute we arrived it seem like our waitress was overwhelmed. She was obviously not having a good day and it was evident in the service. We had to ask for water, we had to ask for limes several times and they never came, we got our apps and the coconut popcorn shrimp was cold. The young lady was running around so much she forgot to bring out my Caesar salad with the apps. I am still waiting on that salad by the way since she never brought it out. Our main entrees were ok. The fish and chips was over cook, it was evident the fryer could use fresh oil. We also order a medium steak and what was brought out was a well done steak that was as cold. It was sent back and didn't come out until everyone else was done eating. I was really surprise at the lack of service, there was no management walking the restaurant as you would normally see at a place like this which is possibly why our table and others seem to be getting the poor service it was getting. Again, everything in me wanted to love this place. My wife and I love water front restaurants with views but we also like quality service. We have decided to give this place another shot sometime in the future and hope our next review will redeem this one!
Be the first to ReplyNice rooftop, extremely crowed and understaffed.
I had rum runner cocktail that gave me a headache from the cheap liquor. No toilet tissue, soap or paper towels in women's restrooms
