Outdated interior, very strange menu, sushi was all rice no fish - we literally made bowl of rice from one sushi roll while digging for fish. Other than that it seems like there are longtime staple customers who clearly know how to order better than we did.

Mediocre food. Bad seating with many better tables available. Waiter did the bare minimum.
Be the first to ReplyWe had an opportunity to experience a once in a lifetime
We had an opportunity to experience a once in a lifetime dining opportunity. Laura and I were led to our table with a bottle of champagne waiting at the table. This was our first time dining at this 80-year icon. WOW. What a start. We enjoyed the recommendations for dinner and each serving was stunning. The lump crab, deviled-eggs, fish, and desserts----WOW. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary. The team at Ta-Boo made it an ever-lasting memory, one we will treasure. Ta-Boo is going out with its head high and in style. Saturday, May 27, 2023 will be its final day----an icon is saying good-bye. Thank you Ta-B00
Be the first to ReplyThe service was great.
All of our food came out pretty fast. The fries however were really soggy do don't order fries there. They also do not allow hats inside for men so strict dress code. It's an older crowd for sure. Baby friendly
Be the first to ReplyWhat a gem in Palm Beach.
The fish was fantastic and the cocktails were perfect. Great visit and hope to go back soon.
Be the first to ReplyThe service was quick and always professional.
I had the petite filet with portobello mushrooms and penne & it was fabulous! (Which for me, justifies the price of $54) So we will definitely come back! This is maybe not a restaurant you would visit with little kids, but if friends come into town or for a special night. The ambiance was dressy casual, but the restaurant was maybe a little on the dark (unlit) side. Our party had a mix of business casual, professional, and I wore nice jeans with a nice blouse and heels & we were all comfortable.
Be the first to ReplyWe went for happy hour and enjoyed everything.
The bartender was pleasant with great service. The deviled eggs were very good and the Brie & Pear Pizza was excellent. We were hesitant on the pizza since it was not something we have had before but it was a wonderful choice. We will go back.

The place is iconic, and I had heard the building was purchased and that it was going to possibly be shut down. So I knew I had to come and have their famous lust pie before it went away! It was so delicious.

I had not been here since before Covid but wanted to try it since the new landlord may kill this 80 year institution. I had the deviled eggs (good, nothing great), the bacon cheeseburger (bland beef) and the "famous lust" dessert (exceptional custard dessert). Other than the dessert, the food was unremarkable and I have no urge to return based on the food. The service was very good with all the employees hospitable. Go for the location, the history and any memories, but if you're going solely for the food, I'd skip it.
Be the first to ReplyFood was good.
Atmosphere is nice depending on where you are seated. Did not enjoy being approached by models trying to sell merchandise every few minutes.
Be the first to ReplyHorrible service.
Would not return. Stood at the entrance and hostess stand for 15min and waited without even being noticed. Would not recommend or return back.
Be the first to ReplyPenne with shrimp was outstanding.
Favors seemed to mesh so well that every bite was a uhmmm moment. Service//impeccable and ambiance give you an old world feeling. What a joy. Can't wait to return.
Be the first to ReplyFabulous place to spend birthday this week.
Heard the building has been bought. I hope the restaurant, a Worth Ave icon, stays. The warm steak salad is to die for.Calamari just okay.Key Lime pie and Coconut crรจme pie are stupendous!

So we were placed center, kind of in the pathway to the bathrooms.Had delightful devel eggs with two sauces: Spicy AND another sweet. Yellow of the eggs whipped up beautifully. ( with Mayo?).Two baked rolls of cranberry. And when we took food home, server gave us two new rollsBefore I forget, all take home food was packed in treated paper, the way Chinese restaurants used to, not plastic containers. Good for them!Side salad with walnuts and blue cheese and light flavorful dressing.I had lobster bisque ( not heavy enough on cream... kind of thin.)Service excellent. It was 3:00Total bill $82.Manager seems to run an excellent restaurant; table cloths, well dressed service help.We had a well grilled four (?) grain bread with a blend of cream cheese and spinach. Tasty.Bottled Peligrino sparkling water, and a light Corona beer.I got a parking spot in front! Lucky.I love this place; didn't have a martini, which are usually good sized and excellent.
Be the first to ReplyLovely restaurant with fun interiors.
We sat in the front bar area for lunch. We had great service, and the food was delicious. I am still dreaming about this Brie and pear pizza- so good! The only thing that detracted from our experience was these little birds kept flying in and out of the restaurant because they had the windows open. Seems like an easy enough fix to add screens to prevent them from pestering guests.
Be the first to ReplyWent here for lunch today with the Family.
We had the mushroom pizza, classic pizza, chicken salad sandwich with fries, and salmon wrap with potato salad. The food was All Very Good with plenty to eat, while the entire staff were All Very Nice & Helpful. This place is a Keeper !!

Be the first to ReplyCute decor.
But lack of atmosphere and excitement. Bar was incredibly dead... and dirty.

At my first visit, several months ago, I had the Island Chicken Salad for lunch. The chicken salad was good, but the bread was dense, bordering on stale; I wasn't overwhelmed. But, my dining companion enjoys the restaurant so much, and everyone has a bad day from time to time. So, I held off on writing a review.Dinner last night proved my patience to be a smart choice.Starting with the house made Manhattan clam chowder, it was a well made soup, packed with clams and vegetables. But, the star of the night was the penne with grilled shrimp.Absolutely a perfect dish.Jumbo shrimp accurately grilled with a tasty char, penne precisely al dente, tossed in a light, creamy sauce with cherry tomatoes and capers - heavenly.Service was courteously professional and expedient. I would return daily just for this dish.I'm glad I waited to review.
Be the first to ReplyGreat atmosphere.
Feels like your on a tropical vacation. Nice location on Worth Ave. Pizza was medicore and they feature those on their menu. Other food was very good
Be the first to ReplyThis might just be my favorite Palm Beach restaurant.
I love the casual elegant vibe, the fresh yummy entrees, and interesting deep roots (since 1941) of this restaurant. It's obvious locals love it too because at opening the host was greeting customers by name and asking "your usual table?" My generous Pulled Chicken Salad hit the spot with dark and white roasted chicken, walnuts, Craisins, Gorgonzola cheese, field greens and topped off with white balsamic vinaigrette. Thoroughly enjoyed!Hubs wanted a bit heavier lunch and enjoyed their Pepperoni and Mozzarella pizza. Was so glad he shared a piece! It had a wonderful crust crunch and generous toppings. Their decor had me spell bound. I loved the British colonial style with black rattan seating complete with beautifully painted jungle murals that extended to the ceiling. I'm assuming the jungle mural also pays tribute to the original name of this street prior to its current name of Worth Avenue -Jungle Road.

I had read many reviews that were saying how bad the service was but I can say this is a first class establishment The food is outstanding and the waitstaff superb. We had spicy tuna rollIt was perfection. The waiter said if we didn't like it he would take it back, how can you go wrong with that. Amazing. The waiter listened to what k asked for and I received it! So happy! Totally recommend this restaurant Thank you
Be the first to ReplyThis is one of my favorite restaurants in Palm Beach.
A hangout for the Kennedy clan, the atmosphere and decor take you back in time; a better time for many. The decor, food and service are all top drawer. They also have a great happy hour with yummy bar bites.

Just bad service from start to finish weatherIt was the bartenders or the food taking over an hour to come out when there was hardly anyone in the place, oh and the appetizers came out at the same time
