T Bar Southampton Reviews from The Last Year
Well worth the visit.
Great cocktails and a very good meal. Service was excellent and dining in front of the fireplace was delightful.
The Best
My husband and I were getting desperate to find an interesting restaurant in the town of Southampton that didn't charge $31 for a plain Caesar salad and yet had good food and ambience. T-Bar surpassed our wishes to the point that we ate there 3 times during our month vacation in Southampton. The meatballs were superlative and the fish dishes unparalled. But on our third visit we found out that the best was yet to come as we decided to try eating at their outside area. It was bustling and beautiful. You'd never know you were on a street. A must go to.
Great food and good service.
Now that the usual staff has been split between their NYC and Southampton location, I am happy to report that the quality of food and service has not diminished. The espresso martini is very good. The Chicken Milanese dish is fabulous. The ambiance both inside and outside is very nice. The new music vibe is a nice touch. They added couches and a lounge space to the outside and added an additional row of tables outside. Overall rating A+ Service A+ Food A Atmosphere A+

Prepaid Reservation Fee

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
