A lovely brunch spot for a Saturday or Sunday by yourself
A lovely brunch spot for a Saturday or Sunday by yourself or with friends to catch up on life. I've been here many times and their food is delicious and fresh tasting, great service and staff, and if you can sit outside during the warm months it adds to the classic NYC brunch in the summer vibes. Those pancakes are soooo good! It's a popular spot and in a happening part of Williamsburg. So try to go earlier or later than typical dining times to avoid a long wait. If they accept reservations, I recommend making one. Relax, enjoy and let the Sunday in Brooklyn staff take care of you!
Sunday in Brooklyn has been sitting in my bookmarks for
Sunday in Brooklyn has been sitting in my bookmarks for quite some time - it periodically makes the rounds on my Yelp feed and I thought it looked like a place I would be interested in. Brooklyn isn't exactly in my backyard, and life happens so I never got to check this place out until today when I was looking for a spot to brunch with my parents. This seemed to fit the bill, so off we went. As suggested by the name, SiB aims to emulate the feelings and fare typically served on a Sunday (at least, from my perspective, Sunday brunch). The location has an inviting exterior with outdoor seating and a bright awning, while the interior is somewhat small with exposed brick and high ceilings. They don't take reservations for weekend brunch, but since it was a weekday I was easily able to book a table. The majority of the seating was banquette style, though there is also stool seating at the bar and I heard there's an upstairs area as well. The menu contained a good variety of brunch dishes as well as cocktails. We passed on cocktails, though we did start with two of their toasts: the ricotta with roasted berry and the avocado. Both of them were tasty - the former had a good balance of sweet and creamy, but I thought the latter was stronger. I know that every restaurant has avocado toast these days and that it's kinda basic, but they did a good job keeping the avo somewhat chunky and topping it with Calabrian chili. The sourdough was a good base and they kept it thick to withstand the toppings. For my main, I decided to go carb heavy and get the Sunday Pancakes - I've seen these all over their social media and I couldn't resist. The cakes were topped with a maple praline syrup, and I had the choice of up to three cakes (I went with three, because brunch). The dish was good - the pancakes almost had a corn-like consistency to them, though they didn't contain corn. They were also pretty fluffy so despite there being three cakes it wasn't heavy - besides being visually appealing, I can see why this is a hot ticket item. I also got a side of chicken sausage - this was good, though there was some sort of flavor in them that was unfamiliar to me. I didn't dislike the flavor, it was just different and unexpected. Service was great - food came out at a good pace and our server was really friendly. Overall, I had a great experience at Sundays in Brooklyn - I can see why this is a hotspot and would definitely return to explore more of their menu.
This is definitely a spot that everyone should check out.
The atmosphere is amazing there was a great vibe when my boyfriend and I visited.. The service was on point, our waiter was very attentive and wonderful. The food was delicious, we were there on Sunday, the food was amazing, i had the avocado toast, which they served a very generous piece of avocado with their special salt, i also had scrambled eggs on the side. i am getting hungry just reminiscing. about our experience. I highly recommend, go check it out you wouldn't be disappointed.
Sunday came early this week! Came on a Saturday morning
Sunday came early this week! Came on a Saturday morning with a 10am reservation, they were pretty busy. We were seated in the upstairs dining room and our server was lovely. For drinks we ordered a Bloody Mary and a N/A Spicy Margarita. Both drinks were really good! For food we started with the famous Sunday Pancakes (double) which were very rich almost resembled cake. We also ordered the Yummos which were like boneless buffalo wings, really enjoyed. I ordered a Grain Bowl per the recommendation of the sever and my partner ordered the Shakshuka. Everything was really good, highly recommended!

Awesome brunch spot in Brooklyn! My favorite item was probably the chicken sandwich but also loved the ricotta toast. The cinnamon roll was okay. Service was great. I'd come back and try the pancakes next time.
the BEST food the BEST service the BEST workers EEE love
the BEST food the BEST service the BEST workers EEE love this place so much everyone is fucking awesome!!! the food was soooo bomb and it was the cutest vibe ever didn't have to wait -- if you come at a busy time with a big party I imagine you'd have to wait but it was just 2 of us around 2pm for brunch so it wasn't too busy
This place was AMAZING.
I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday breakfast and everyone said happy birthday to him and treated us very well. They gave him a birthday card and a pastry on the house. The food was GREAT and the service was just as great. We showed up a little late for our reservation but they were willing to still seat us without any issue. I'd definitely be coming here again and again.

Good service and good hit the spot! We put our names down and it was a quick wait for a table on a Saturday. Food was good.
Super cute restaurant.
Good food. Great staff. Daughter was in a graduation gown and they gave her a card congratulating her.
Firstly be ready to wait about an hour to be seated!!
Firstly be ready to wait about an hour to be seated!! Small cute spot, I mean if you don't mind the person next to you hearing your conversation then it's great. Wow best hot drink I ever had, can't remember its name. It's like a hot chocolate. The food was extremely good. I loved the Long Island home fries. The pancake was not like any normal pancake looked like a pound cake. But delicious
Really wonderful brunch.
The pancake was fantastic--a different style than the traditional Clinton St Baking Company and Bubby's but wonderful nevertheless (the pancake has a great cake texture and the hazelnut syrup is the better version of Nutella). The cheddar scramble was also quite tasty and provided a nice savory contrast to the pancake. The coffee was also great (usually have low expectations for coffee from brunch restaurants)--the espresso was not too acidic and on the sweeter side, so more like Italian coffee. Would come back again (a high bar here in NYC with so many fantastic brunch spots), but would maybe only get 1 pancake (getting a stack of 2 or 3 is definitely the better deal but 1 is the perfect portion, even to share) and save some space to try some other items on the menu! Service and ambience were both great. We went on a rainy day but location is also nice; if there's a wait wandering around the neighborhood would make time pass quite quickly.
Great experience, have visited twice and so far each visit
Great experience, have visited twice and so far each visit is better than the last. I had the chicken sandwich while my girlfriend enjoyed the pancakes (brunch menu). We also shared an amazing salad which appeared to be a Greek salad where every item seemed to have been grilled or pickled. Will definitely return
Definitely 5/5.
Came with my family for Sunday brunch on Mother's Day. We waited an hour for a party of 6 and it was definitely worth the wait. The restaurant has many tables and multiple floors, but I would definitely recommend checking out the reservations that come out 30 days prior if you want to avoid the wait. There aren't many options on the menu and my family opted to try different dishes. Everything was remarkable and was brought out fairly quickly. The grain bowl had a velvety egg, fresh veggies, and the most beautiful avocado. It was hearty and a well-balanced choice. The pancakes were incredibly unique. They were thick, filling, and had a cake-like texture. The outside glaze had a burnt caramel taste and was delicious. I would definitely recommend trying these pancakes. We ordered 3 pancakes to share, but 1 pancake was filling. Shakshuka is one of my favorite meals and this entree from Sunday and Brooklyn was paired with an incredible warm focaccia. The shakshuka was sweet and tangy and the feta crumble added a creamy texture. The mediterranean salad was vibrant! It was packed with flavor and gorgeous topping. The restaurant was busy but the service was fast and the servers were helpful. I will definitely return! Loved the greenery inside of the restaurant. Also, there are many outdoor seats available but this was a rainy day so we opted to sit inside.

We had the biscuits and gravy and the brown butter pancakes - both were AMAZING. Great atmosphere and drinks!
Great food, service, a nice location.
We booked for the outdoor garden seating, but it was chilly. They couldn't move us indoors but put the heater on and that helped. My friend had the warm grain bowl and he said it was delicious. I had the cheddar scramble which was good and had yummy potatoes, toast and bacon. My husband had the pancakes. They were a little more like cake than a pancake and a little dry. Overall it's a great spot for brunch. I'm glad I made my reservation a few weeks in advance, they book up fast.
Ambience is great, good quality food, and drinks.
I went for breakfast, the s'mores latte was delicious, the service was good as well.

WOW! Sunday in Brooklyn was absolutely delectable! Every single thing our table got was so good. Our cocktails was also great. The ambiance was cozy and inviting. I highly recommend for brunch!
Best Brunch!
Amazing food in cozy atmosphere. The cheddar maple biscuit is a must. Shakshuka very tasty. Friendly staff. Prices also fair. It’s abmust for breakfast in Williamsburg!
Sunny brunch place
Rustic little place with sunny service. The matcha latte and chai latte were super fresh. The Sunday pancakes were delicious - a twist to corn bread. The shashoushka was fresh. Portions were generous. A great breakfast place.
Don’t turn up early!!
We popped in here for coffee and a delicious cinnamon bun and, on the way out, booked a table for breakfast the next day. We turned up 10 mins early (9.20am) and were ‘told’ (not asked) to stand outside until 9.30! The girl (maitre’d?) came out at 9.30 and took us to our table without a word or apology! Our waitress was lovely, breakfast was delicious but the arrogance of this place has left us gobsmacked and bemused. If we knew the area well we would have not stayed until 9.30 but gone elsewhere.
Great Food & Service
I had this place booked for my son's wedding rehearsal dinner and he had picked the menu items etc. The food was great and the service plus staff were excellent waiting on a group of 40 or more. The only item I didn't like as most people stated was the eggplant! The ribeyes etc. were excellent and cooked just right. The only complaint was we had to be out by 10 PM and we were leaving a 9:55 pm, undoubtedly some didn't get out by 10 PM and I was charged an extra $250.00 for 1/2 hour room rent which I thought was ridiculous after spending thousands for the reception! Oh well, that is NYC for you!

The site doesn't have resources to properly execute a reservation transfer. Some places allow it however the best bet is to open a chat on the listing from the seller and communicate there

Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
