Steak 48 Chicago Reviews
Two home runs in one week.
Was there midweek with a business group. Magnificent meal. My filet perfect. A highlight was our server Allie K. Top notch. Returned Sat with my husband. Asked for Allie K. She sat us in the kitchen area. Mesmerizing with friendly, warm service and delicious beef.
Steak 48 -- THE BEST!
From start to finish, Steak 48 delivered an exceptional dining experience that hit all the right notes of indulgence, precision, and bold flavor. But before I describe an unforgettable meal, I want to begin by thanking the new GM Jennifer Seitaj for accommodating my request for a private dining booth in the back (pictured), the manager Kris Petrov for the tremendous on-site customer service, and of course my waiter Vincent who ALWAYS provides exceptional service-- appropriately attentive without being overbearing. Having arrived early we started in the warm and friendly bar area -- vibrant but not loud -- and enjoyed a delicious glass of Croggy Range "Te Muna Rd" Sauvignon Blanc (24 Marl, NZ). When seated knowing we'd have steaks at Chicago's premier steakhouse restaurant I ordered a bottle of an exceptional and reasonably priced Cabernet Sauvignon - The Calling ('20 Alexander Valley, CA) $94, a bold, well-structured full bodied wine with a long, elegant finish and balance. Sourced from Sonoma's renowned Alexander Valley - A classic expression of a California Cabernet. Steak 48 Food -- THE BEST! Appetizers set the tone beautifully. The crispy shrimp--tossed in a sweet Thai chili glaze and paired with a garlic aioli--was the perfect mix of sweet heat and creamy richness. The standout starter, however, was the chicken fried lobster tails. Served three to an order, these were a decadent treat: crisp on the outside with tender lobster inside, seasoned with Chesapeake Bay spices and complemented by a green chili aioli that added just the right kick. Worth every penny. For the main course, the steaks were grilled to perfection. The New York Strip arrived flawlessly medium rare, with a gorgeous sear and juicy, robust flavor. The filet mignon, also medium rare, was equally impressive--tender, buttery, and full of depth. The sautรฉed spinach side with sea salt and Parmesan was a simple yet elegant pairing, offering a garlicky, savory counterpoint to the rich meats. Dessert was no afterthought. The "Ultimate" Vanilla Caramel Cake lives up to its name--layers of moist cake, vanilla gelato, and airy whipped cream, topped with homemade toasted brown sugar cinnamon pecans for the perfect crunch. The red velvet bread pudding was equally show-stopping, melting together warm cake, vanilla gelato, sweet cream cheese, and white chocolate into a luscious finale. Every dish reflected thoughtful preparation and premium ingredients. Steak 48 nails the upscale steakhouse experience--bold, flavorful, and totally satisfying.
My family and I celebrated my 70th Birthday and we had the BEST experience! From the ambiance to the food !! Our waiter Raul was awesome!
5 star Birthday Vibes
I rarely hand out 5 stars, but babyyyy, this place earned every one of them! Came here to celebrate my birthday, and from start to finish, the experience was flawlessโdelicious food, exceptional service, and the follow-up call the next day to check on our visit? A classy touch that sealed the deal. This spot just became a Chicago mustโI'll be back every single time I'm in town.
Everything was fantastic until the end
Itโs a great meal. The cocktails are great, the one list is extensive and great reasonably price good wines can be found, the staff is attentive, salads are great and the steaks are some of the best around. The plate wonโt stop sizzling - itโs a bit scary. The sides are also very good, but some exceed others (I didnโt enjoy the cauliflower). My annoyance, a 2O% standard gratuity for a party of 2. That shouldnโt be standard practice and is the first Iโve encountered. Just odd and off putting.
One word: Disappointment
Unfortunately our experience at Steak-48, was not quite what we expected it to be. First, when we called in to inform the hostess that we were going to be late, we could barely hear her. Moreover, we stressed to her how IMPORTANT it was that we get seated in a booth. The hostess gave us a big runaround and eventually hung up the phone (I kid you not)! Her name was Anne. When we arrived, we noticed our party who had already arrived was not only seated at a regular table, but also near the kitchen where it was very loud and noisy! Fast forward to our waiter who was so pushy, I literally had to tell him several times to wait and give us a few minutes to figure out our food orders! LITERALLY he tried to take our food orders two minutes after we sat down! I had to tell him the second time โI think we should order our drinks first, right?โ He then showed a agitated look on his face. Wasnโt a mean or rude guy, per se. However, just didnโt do a good job with reading the table! Even worse, after we finished our appetisers and the kitchen packed it up, one of the kitchen staff members SLAMMED it down in front of me and stormed off!! First off, it scared the you-know-what out of me. Second of all, he did it not once, twice but three times! Second time was after the entrรฉes and the third was after dessert. There we even moments when we tried to ask for things and the same guy LITERALLY threw his finger his finger up and turned his back as to say โhold on.โ Lastly, the overall the food was good, but although we ordered the steak medium, it was more medium well to well done. All and all, they are welcome to reach out to remedy the situation, but Iโm not sure if I would recommend Steak-48 to anyone.
NO UNDERSTANDING OF ALLERGIES
We went there to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We used to go there about 4 times a year. Never again. I had a dairy allergy and told the gentleman several times and he still brought my food with dairy. His response was in case somebody wants to share. the steaks were inedible and we send back. The replacements were delicious. We had dirty appetizer plates and salad on our table for 30 minutes. The GM called a few days later and was so apologetic and offered to send us gift cards. We are yet to receive. There are plenty of delicious and elegant steak houses in Chicago to go there. Cross this one off your list.
Best Steaks In Chicago
Steak 48 has the best steaks in town. No one serves steaks on hot plate and just how i wanted. Service are always excellent, even dining in the bar is an experience.
Awesome steakhouse, with impeccable service.
Classic preparation with the perfect balance of a tasty rub on the steaks without overpowering the great steak flavor. The mashed potatoes were arguably the best I've ever tasted. Definitely make a point of visiting when you're in town.
Amazing experience would definitely come again.
Dined here with a couple of buddies of mine and were seated right away, Yazmin our server was very polite and knowledgeable on the menu. She helped us pick out the right dish. The food was amazing I ordered a New York strip cooked medium and received exactly that. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxed. Would come again
So I have reservations and I didn't get there until 17
So I have reservations and I didn't get there until 17 minutes after they close. Which I kept calling and 15 minutes was the grace period. But I was two minutes late. I do understand that once a restaurant closes, They are not obligated to open the doors for you, which is understandable and I did apologize multiple times that I was running late. The young lady was able to have her manager open the doors for us and we were able to sit down which I was very grateful because it was my boyfriend's birthday. We ordered steak 22oz, asparagus fries, loaded baked potato, calamari and the mac & cheese. They do give you bread when you sit. So the calamari was very good. It comes with shrimp as well some kind of sauces. I can't remember the name of the sauce, but it was really good. It was a white sauce. Order asparagus fries my bf said they were really good and flavorful. Our main entrรฉe we decided to split everything because it was big portions. Ordered the 22 ounce was not good. They split it in half for us and half that I got was very fatty and chewy. It was no meat on it. I had a tough time chewing it because it was a fatty meat and for the price I feel like it could've been better. I do work in an upscale restaurant as a chef so I do know a good piece of steak and I know a bad piece of steak and the steak that I received was a bad piece of steak. The mac & cheese was really good settled because when they brought it out, it was very soup. The baked potato was really good, but the bacon that they put inside of it was very hard. They brought out a desert. I believe the guy said it was a butter bread cake whatever it was, it was sour and ice cream it's OK because it was free at the end of the day. The next day they called me to ask me my experience which I really love because most places they don't call you back at a restaurant to ask you if you enjoyed. I wasn't going to them the truth because I wasn't looking for a refund. I just wanted my boyfriend to have a good dinner. I told him the next day I did have terrible stomach pains from the food that I ate to where I couldn't eat anything besides Tums , Pepto-Bismol and water. The manager was very helpful. He was able to send over a gift card so whenever I'm at steak 48 again I can be able to use it. I love how they handled the situation like I said most restaurants they do not call you the next day to ask if you enjoyed the food or how was your service so that part I give it a 10 out of 10
Wanted to see what all the hype was about.
Came and sat at the bar and ordered an old fashion. Keylla Scott made one of the best old fashions I have ever had. The way Scott burned the orange peel made all the difference and I will definitely be back. That simple addition made all the difference.

Excellent food and service.
What was ordered: Deviled eggs -no flavor Crispy shrimp -eh Petite Filet with sautรฉed blue cheese Petite Filet with truffle butter Petite Filet, as-is 12oz Filet Crab macaroni cheese Brussels sprouts Sweet corn -pass Garlic, crab mashed potatoes -off the menu All menu items were great. Service was excellent. Steaks were seared to perfection. ONLY thing was the desserts weren't ordered as our server said they're "on the house..." $35 later they showed on the bill :(
Overall we had a lovely meal for a night of celebration.
The highlights: - loved the ambiance, the seating was comfortable and the mood lighting was spot on - our server was very friendly - my husband loved his steak, mashed potatoes, and corn crรจme brรปlรฉe combo. He could not have been happier with his mains and sides. - they had a great music selection, atypical for your stereotypical steakhouse music lineup and so very enjoyable - excellent waitstaff, the guy who kept us hydrated with water was probably the nicest person we met the entire night. Super lovely guy. - the Mac and cheese was gooey and decadent - the ultimate vanilla butter cake tasted of a really good sugar cookie - everyone, even those not waiting on us were pleasant and engaging. We enjoyed everyone's sunny dispositions The misses: - we did ask for suggestions as it was our first time, and I did notice that every one of our server's suggestions for meals, apps, etc were the most expensive things on the menu which makes me feel like she is just being told to upsell and perhaps doesn't actually recommend the items she said - the Caesar salad was light on dressing (this coming from my husband who usually complains about the opposite) and our warm croutons were not at all warm - my 12oz steak, unlike that of my hubby, was overcooked. I asked for medium rare and I got medium in the center, and a good chunk of it was medium well to well, completely gray. The sear on it was so hard it tasted burnt. I ate about four bites. I did mention this to them but nothing was done. - the crab meat on the Mac and cheese had a piece of shell in one piece of meat, and the other had the "bone" still in it. This is a big faux pas for some. -the timing was long. We were there for about three hours, and there was a long wait between courses not just from the kitchen but for the server-- there were many times we were looking for her to order the next course. I appreciated we did not feel rushed but it seems like we did a lot of waiting. Overall 4/5 stars mostly due to the steak for me. It is a steakhouse after all, and I hate burnt meat. Would certainly return again for the hubby though and give them another shot.

The food was delicious and amazing, the ambience was warm and cozy, the service was impeccable. An establishment that knows how to take care of its guests.
Amazing food and amazing service.
Alexis created a great dining experience. Will book again next time I am in Chicago.
My food was incredible, the wine was delicious.
Great extensive wine list! Appetizers were yummy. I would definitely go back. Prices are a little high, but pretty average for a steakhouse. Ambience was great, weight staff was terrific. Definitely recommend!
Amazing service, they ask whether you prefer black or white
Amazing service, they ask whether you prefer black or white napkins.. REALLY ! I enjoyed the food, ambiance and service.

Yesterday was my first time here and all I can say is that this place has won me over. I can't wait to visit again! I had the NY Strip with a loaded baked potato and it was delicious. Steak just melted in your mouth with each bite. The potato was a nice size and was very flavorful. The service was A1 from the time we checked in til the time we paid to leave. The atmosphere was very pleasant. It really made you feel like you were getting that fine dining experience.
In a city of excellent steakhouses, Steak48 arguably reigns
In a city of excellent steakhouses, Steak48 arguably reigns supreme. The customer service is exceptional, each staff member greeting and welcoming you to the restaurant as you are escorted to your table. Our waiter, Jeff, was knowledgeable, attentive, equipped with recommendations as well as a great attitude. The ambiance of the restaurant is modern, new age, beautiful bars and well maintained restrooms. The food was delectable - some highlights for us were the crispy shrimp, corn crembrule, filet mignon with truffle butter, as well as the potatoes au gratin. The drinks were excellent, the bartender made a ice cold dirty martini, and they actually serve you the martini with the shaker cup which contains some extra martini in. Unique and a nice touch. Amazing experience and can't wait to get back for a special occasion. Thanks to the Jeff and the Steak48 team.
I came here for my birthday and it was a great time.
Our waitress was knowledgeable on the menu and her recommendations were a hit. I had the burrata as an appetizer, the petite filet mignon, mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts.
A Disappointing Atmosphereโฆ and it didnโt need to be.
Honestly, a real disappointmentโฆ and it didnโt need to be. I decided to dine here for a special couples dinner because I heard the atmosphere was excellent. The decor and setting are really niceโฆ but the atmosphere was a disappointment because of some unforced errors. Firstโฆ the music. A high-end steak house with a beautiful setting doesnโt need to blast out 80โs-90โs pop music hits. When I take my spouse out for a dinner that will costs over $200โฆ I donโt care to hear Huey Lewis & and the News, Fine Young Cannibals, and 80โs Bruce Springsteen. The music was laughable as we felt like we were at a bowling alley on retro 80โs night. Change the station to Jazz, acoustic, something romantic or sophisticated. Secondโฆ we arrived somewhat early in the evening and were escorted to beautiful dining room, but unfortunately seated next to a large family with several young children (under age 6). This was baffling because the rest of the dining room was empty. Why couldnโt we have been seated on the other side of the dining room away from the noisy kids watching cartoons on a phone? Thirdโฆ I understand the need to train a serverโฆ but two servers constantly hovering around and โover checkingโ on usโฆ when we were clearly still looking at our menu and decidingโฆ seemed a bit too much. 18% Gratuity was included in our billโฆ for a party of two. I guess typical for Chicagoโฆ probably not for most other places in the USA. FOOD: The warm bread was OKโฆ but tasted more akin to a breadstick that you might find at an Italian restaurant. Brussels sprouts (side dish) was very ordinary. Crรจme Brรปlรฉe cream corn was terrific. Filet Mignon was exceptionalโฆ cooked perfectโฆ. But we were disappointed with the Oscar styleโฆ a bit strongly with the crab and hollandaise sauce. For the moneyโฆ we feel we made a mistake as we could have visited a big name suburban steak house (R.C.) and had better food and experience.
Came here for a client dinner and the experience was
Came here for a client dinner and the experience was awesome. They had us in one of the private rooms and it definitely was a great experience. We had a few members that were a little late and the staff is extremely accommodating. Great wine selection and the food was extremely good. I really enjoyed all of their appetizers and the desserts. Obviously you can't screw up a steak, but they made it perfectly to how I wanted it. Would definitely be back.
STEAK 48 OUTSTANDING STEAKHOUSE
During a recent visit to Chicago, my husband and I had dinner at Steak 48. A modern style steakhouse with friendly knowledgeable staff who were attentive but not obtrusive. The food (popovers, bone-in KC strip steak, kennebec fries, Triple Layer Key Lime Pie) were delicious. Be forewarned, the portions are massive for those who are light eaters. You might wish to share which is perfectly fine with staff. Highly recommend.
Sad
The night has fallen. Once the best steakhouse in the city. Not any more. Medicare arrive. Managers very poor customer service. Donโt care about customers. Still a decent meal but not amazing as it once was. Disappointed and sad.
Mighty has fallen.
One of the best steakhouses in the city. Not any more. Service mediocre. Managers have very poor customer service. Food not as good as it used to be. Very sad. Still a good meal but not what it used to be.
Service still awesome but the bone in rib-eye ordered
Service still awesome but the bone in rib-eye ordered medium, pretty sure it was rare borderline raw ..
Great food.
The chicken fried lobster is amazing. Service was good. Ive ate at many restaurants but I prefer this over any steakhouse I've tried in many cities. Steak was cooked absolutely perfect. Mac n cheese was great which is where some steak restaurants hit or miss. And for desert they brought out a tree with powdered beignets on it which were delicious also. Overall 10/10
Amazing.
The food, service and ambiance is spectacular at this restaurant. They go above and beyond to make the dining experience excellent.
Great Steaks
Really great food. Price is on the high side but worth it. Atmosphere is very nice and the staff was very helpful as well. Will go back.
Don't think I've ever been to a finer restaurant.
Services impeccable!! Ambience terrific! Food superb! The corn crรจme brรปlรฉe was one of the best things I've eaten as an add-on side. Steak was done to perfection for each person. Crispy shrimp deviled eggs also my favorite Desserts were excellent. Very expensive but worth a special treat.
HIGH PRICES AND RUDENESS
Nice place but too dark, with smoke that bothers you and forces you to take your clothes to the dry cleaners. At the reception were three very young boys who were not up to the task and were rude. Waitress at the table unpolite and insistent. The food is absolutely not worth the asking price. On the steak (99 dollars) a kind of molasses that makes the meat sweetish and not at all good, raw baked potato without salt. Undrinkable coffee. Unreasonable prices. There are dozens of better places nearby.
Amazing restaurant and food.
... Everything was delicious and served fresh and hot... they spoiled us with giving us impeccable service for me and my boyfriend anniversary. Highly recommended everything that we have ordered you won't regret it....The dessert was delicious too
The staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and can make
The staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and can make great recommendations if you're unsure what to order.
We went on a Friday night, and they were extremely busy.
Since we didn't have reservations, we sat at the bar on the 2nd floor. Scott was our server and bartender and was outstanding with his service. As I mentioned, they were extremely busy, but service was top-notch. The appetizers and fresh bread were amazing. We had filet mignon and bone in rib eye, both cooked to perfection. The mashed sweet potato was so delicious that we ordered extra to go. The manager stopped by and asked if we needed anything and made sure we were satisfied with our food. Overall, every employee was very professional and friendly. Definitely will be back in the near future.
Had a fantastic dinner here while visiting Chicago.
Great location. Plenty of shops, bars, and other places within walking distance. Came in for dinner with my friends. Inside is a little dim but stylish. Spacing is a bit tight. Food was delicious! The crispy shrimp deviled eggs and pork belly are great appetizers. I got the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. Tender and juicy inside, a nice sear on the outside. Can't go wrong with the au gratin potatoes. Cocktails were delicious too. We racked up that bill lol but it was worth it. Service was amazing. Friendly and helpful staff. Reservations definitely recommended but were easy to make on their website. There's street parking or garages within a block or two.
Saturday evening at steak 48 was truly a delight being
Saturday evening at steak 48 was truly a delight being accommodated with a last-minute reservation and then being greeted by Walker our server who clearly knew the menu inside and out. We had a wonderful evening. Drinks was phenomenal atmosphere really made it a memorable night to celebrate my niece and sister birthday. Thank you again steak 48.
I was not impressed at all by this place.
..I was a little confused about this place because I didn't smell any aroma or indication of the food being freshly cooked but then again I can be wrong! Steak was sent back 3 times...I did not like the service or food! My potatoes looked like a brick with cheese one top. Another mediocre high priced steakhouse with below average food and wanna be top notched service...
The service was AMAZING the food was DELICIOUS and thee
The service was AMAZING the food was DELICIOUS and thee ENVIRONMENT DEFINITELY got me wanting to come back I will be back soon for sure
Okay this was actually the best meal of my life.
The steak was so incredibly tender and flavorful. The mac & cheese was the best I've had in Chicago. The calamari was soooo crispy and the cocktail sauce and green onion aioli are to die for. I'm typing this as I'm eating leftovers the next day and it's STILL so delicious. The service is top notch. Food is unreal. EAT HERE!!
What A Culinary Delight! We recently had the pleasure of
What A Culinary Delight! We recently had the pleasure of dining at Steak 48, it was an experience that left a lasting impression. This upscale steakhouse showcases an ambiance that effortlessly combines elegance and modernity, creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere immediately puts you at ease. The presentation of the dish was a work of art. The ribeye arrived on a pristine plate, expertly seared with tantalizing grill marks. Next to it, a generous dollop of the buttermilk whipped potatoes adorned with a sprinkle of fresh herbs, enticing us even before we took the first bite. The bone-in ribeye was a true carnivore's dream come to life. Cooked to a perfect medium, the steak had a delightful sear on the outside, locking in all the natural juices to create a tender and succulent center. Each mouthful was a burst of rich, beefy flavors that left me in awe. Accompanying the glorious ribeye were the Buttermilk whipped potatoes. A humble side dish, yet one that elevated the entire meal to another level. Creamy and velvety, the potatoes were a delightful combination of smooth texture and rich taste. The infusion of butter added a touch of indulgence. The flavors and textures harmonized beautifully. Each bite of steak paired with a spoonful of the heavenly potatoes was a symphony of taste that made us pause and savor the moment. Towards the end of our dinner, Our server approached our table with a dazzling dessert that left us amazed. The Ultimate Warm Vanilla Caramel Cake was a dessert dream come true that will leave you utterly enchanted. Furthermore,The Mini Beignet Tree was a delightful and visually stunning dessert that promises to whisk you away to a world of indulgence and bliss. As it arrives at your table, you'll be captivated by the sight of a miniature tree adorned with an array of tempting, golden-brown beignets. The desserts were simply divine, and we couldn't stop raving about it. I cannot praise Steak 48 enough for creating a dining experience that will forever be etched in our memories. From the delectable steaks to the warm and attentive service, it was an evening filled with culinary delights. Thank you, to our server, for going the extra mile. We look forward to returning to relive this exceptional experience once again. It made us feel like VIPs.

I went with a group of coworkers at the request of one of them who said it's her favorite steakhouse. The decor is cool and everything we had was amazing! I had the stone fruit martini which I loved. The bread to start was delish and my favorite starters were the crispy shrimp and beet salad. I had the petite filet which didn't seem so petite! My favorite side was the corn creme brรปlรฉe. We also had the red velvet bread pudding and it was to die for! We were celebrating a work anniversary and they brought us a free dessert of beignets. Our server Allie couldn't have been more attentive and helpful. We were all so full and happy when we left!
The ambiance and atmosphere was very nice and upscale but
The ambiance and atmosphere was very nice and upscale but the service was subpar. They offered to pack our food to go, which was expected for a place this nice, but when we got home we realized that they forgot to pack one of our side dishes that we barely touched. It's frustrating to pay for such expensive (and tbh overpriced) sides and you don't even get to eat them. In addition, we were there celebrating multiple birthdays and after dinner the waiter showed up with multiple desserts but he didn't even allow us to pick the ones we wanted. To me that's not good service if you don't take into consideration the preferences of the clients. The booths are also quite low and difficult to get in and out of so keep that in mind. Also the waiter did not explain their steak doneness levels very well so he talked us into ordering our steaks more well done than we typically order because he said they cook their steak differently than other places. Well, when the steaks arrived they were cooked more than we expected based on our waiters explanation. Overall it was a disappointing experience.
Great until
Was nice place and great until we told server Julia we were splitting meal..from that moment forward she turned and it went downhill from there. Donโt get me wrong, our split meal was still over $200 Had a late lunch that day and thought weโd have a drink and split something somewhere on our way back to hotel. Most all places around full with long waits but no one here and we walked right in. Great front of house and everyone so nice. Our server started fantastic and we ordered drinks and appetizer. She started going through all the specials and I told her we knew what we wanted but she continued to talk about other items and why the cut of meat we chose might not be best (bone-in Filet). After telling her we were sharing it she shut down and we didnโt see much afterwards. Interactions after were short and rather combative. Overall we enjoyed the meal, took some food to go, and we will never go back. BTW- the tip was automatically added to entire order (alcohol too). Iโm good with that but with the way we were treated, I probably wouldnโt have tipped her in the amount they put in my check.
A night to remember
I had such a good time at steak 48 service was great. Our server Allie made wonderful food and wine suggestions. I can't wait wait for my next visit with my family soon. I hope next time I came Allie can be my server again.
Walker the waiter โค๏ธ
We had the best experience at State 48. We were visiting from out of town from Mississippi and New Orleans. We had the best waiter. His name was Walker. We travel all over and love fine dining, but this was definitely one of our best experiences because of Walker. if you happen to be in Chicago, Iโd definitely recommend going to Steak 48 and ask for Walker !!!
Bustling lively spot
The inside of the restaurant is classic style. Service is too confusionary and noisy. Waiters move around like workers in a construction company. Music is unadopted to relax. A part of this poor surrounding I would say that the food is very good. We had shrimps, calamari, meat balls and steaks. Everything excellent. So at the end I close an eye on the service...They are forgiven...
Excellent
If I could I would have given 6 stars. Everything is really excellent and of great quality. It deserves the reputation it has. A warm greeting to the nice and good waiter Italo.
Exceeded my expectations!!!!
From making the reservation to having the perfect date night meal, this restaurant exceeded my expectations!! My boyfriend and I were having a date night, and I wanted to surprise him because he said he was craving a good ribeye steak. I watched reviews on TikTok, and I knew that I had picked the perfect place. The ambiance was very romantic and cozy. Our server was Julia, and she was a sweetheart!! The best service I ever received at a restaurant. When I made my reservation, I made a note that I hoped they were going to have the rack of lamb. She informed me that they did indeed have it. I was so excited!! I have an onion allergy, and Julia informed me of everything that had onions in it. I really appreciated that. We had appetizers. I had the crispy shrimp deviled eggs, and my boyfriend had the crispy shrimp & calamari. Both were delicious. I had the rack of lamb with the sweet potatoes & the corn creme brulee. My boyfriend had the 45-day aged bone in ribeye steak with the mac & cheese. We both agreed that the food was the best we had at a restaurant in a long time. We got dessert to go. He had the chocolate cake, which was out of this world. I had the red velvet bread pudding. Sadly, I didn't care for it. I should have picked the key lime tart. Will we go back, most definitely!!!! Thank you, Steak 48 for making our date night so perfect!!!!
