State Bird Provisions San Francisco Reviews from The Last Year
State bird
It’s an unusual restaurant concept. Most of the menu dishes are served on trays like a dim sum restaurant - some à la carte including the actual state bird: quail in the style of fried chicken. Food is extraordinary, service friendly, but restaurant is very noisy.
Been here twice and liked the food both times.
Always a fun vibe. I really think I like the loud / busy / fun vibe here more than the food itself. The dim sum format adds to the hustle and bustle of the place. It's hard to get a reservation here but if you come after 9 on weekday, you might be ok.
State Bird Provisions gets points for its unique dim
State Bird Provisions gets points for its unique dim sum-style service. It was definitely an interesting experience to have servers walk around offering up small plates of American cuisine. However, there were a few drawbacks that kept it from being a truly outstanding experience. Firstly, reservations are a must! This place is buzzing. Unfortunately, the popularity comes at a cost - the noise level inside is insane. Having a conversation was practically impossible, and even the server struggled to be heard explaining the menu. Speaking of the menu, it was a bit confusing. We couldn't really tell how they were tracking the dim sum plates (which is different from the a la carte menu) and when the bill arrived, all the dim sum plates that we ordered were listed as dim sum with different price points. This made it really hard to tally what we got and the final cost. The constant stream of dim sum carts can be disruptive to conversation as well. While some dishes were good, none were truly mind-blowing. Highlights included the donabe (loved the numbing spice in the broth!), and the morel toast with its sweet onion jam. The cheddar pancakes, however, were a bit of a letdown - kind of bland. On the plus side, they cater well to dietary restrictions. My friends with allergies found plenty of options thanks to helpful staff recommendations. Interestingly, I found the dim sum offerings to be tastier than the a la carte options. The duck liver mousse with biscuits was incredible - a perfect sweet and salty balance with a light, velvety texture. We even ordered a second round! While State Bird Provisions holds a Michelin star, the experience didn't quite live up to the typical fine-dining standard. The noise level, lack of table clearing, and just "okay" presentations and flavors left me wanting a bit more. It's a fun concept, but the execution could be smoother.
I had a great time at State Bird Provisions.
It's definitely on the expensive side with our bill coming out to ~$300 for two, but we ordered a lot of dishes and were able to try a variety of items. We especially enjoyed the Tomarashi caramelle - the pasta was delightful and was like a burst of flavor when biting into it, with a citrusy, creamy, and cheesy filling. The dough was amazing as well. We also loved the steamed egg, the egg was soft and steamed perfectly, and the chili oil combined with the sesame seeds added a burst of flavor and a nice crunch. The strawberry and trout were delicious as well, with the strawberry being so sweet snd fresh and the trout perfectly cooked so that the fish melted in your mouth. The quail was just OK, the meat itself was a bit dry and bland. The service is amazing as well, everyone was super nice and friendly. I'd say inside the restaurant is a upscale but relaxed vibe, and I liked how it was not too loud.

i found this place incredibly mid and im confused why they got a michelin star (tho i am confused why most michelin places in sf were rated well in the first place). they have a menu to order dishes off of and servers going around with "dim sum style" carts and trays with small dishes of the day. some of the dishes did have chinese influences (mostly spoonfuls of chili oil) but most didn't. weird concept and mildly annoyed that the dim sum concept was used as a draw and wasn't even good. apart from the corn scallop crudo their desserts were the best part (ice cream sandwich was a lil too sweet tho). music was super loud inside so we could barely hear ourselves talk.

We had a work event at State Bird tonight and the entire team did a phenomenal job...welcomed everyone, appetizers were flowing, exceptional care for the wine menu, and the dinner menu was out of this world. Highly recommend for private events!
I love State Bird! I've been coming here for the past few
I love State Bird! I've been coming here for the past few years and the menu is ever-changing but consistently tasty. I've brought many friends visiting from out-of-town who agree that it's very good! I think it's a quintessential SF spot that captures fun, fresh dining and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend ending the night with the world peace peanut milk :)

In a place that's buzzing with energy and charm, it's impossible to not be in a good mood here! We came in without reservations and sat at the counter, which I think were the best seats in the house. We had the perfect view of the open kitchen, interactive chefs, and prompt service. Picture American tapas being pushed around on dim-sum style carts. When the cart swings by you, just peek, find something that looks interesting, point, and it's all yours! This is a fun, refreshing concept for a Michelin star restaurant, like a nice break from the usual tasting menus or prix fixe meals. Best dish of the night turned out to be the Hog Island Oysters for their immaculately clean and smooth finish. Save this spot for your next date night!
Walk in to an establishment with loud music, louder talking
Walk in to an establishment with loud music, louder talking and servers bustling about. Dodge them as you head to your table and quickly order a bottle of vino to calm your nerves. The next hour eight different dishes are presented and described which you may accept if they tempt your taste buds. We sampled several, including the quail from which they derived the name State Bird Provisions. It was not memorable. The only dish that wowed my group was the Duck Liver Mousse with Almond Biscuits. Only $10 and it's light and luscious. But one small plate of goodness is not sufficient to recommend an evening here.
I've heard sooo many good things about this place from
I've heard sooo many good things about this place from innovative dim sum style carts to cheapest Michelin star in the Bay. Was super excited to try it out but honestly left disappointed. We got sat in the inner corner and our server forgot about us. Three "dim sum" people made their rounds before our server actually came over to take our order from their main menu. Everyone raves about the dim sum style of serving but Asian restaurants have been doing it so I'm confused on what the hype is all about. Some of the pricey seems a bit weird, like $15 for chips and dip. Oysters: I really enjoyed the oysters. Spicy and tangy and refreshing. Only critique was that the oysters didn't taste super fresh but the spicy and tang helped mask it. 4/5 Truffle Burrata Puff Pastry: I'm a sucker for truffle and burrata. You can definitely taste the truffle and burrata was good. Puff pastry was overcooked and so hard to chew. I almost broke a tooth trying to bite through. I eventually gave up and just ate the burrata. 2/5 State bird: I have mixed feelings on this. I really like the innovative to use nuts in the batter to fry the quail, adding different notes to the quail. However, it literally just tastes like fried chicken. Nothing too specialty even with the nuts. 2/5 Financiers with Liver Mousse: I forgot if it was duck or chicken but the mousse was good, although a little salty, Really rich in that poultry flavor. The financiers were really dry. 3/5 Halibut Crudo: I really liked how they crisped the nori. Never seen nori served like that, closest has been nori fried on a rice paper cracker. Halibut was refreshing but portion was not great. There were more cucumbers than fish. Horseradish was also a bit overpowering bc some bites, all i tasted was horseradish. If they were trying to mimic that wasabi/sushi feel, they overshot on the horseradish. 3/5 Scallop Crudo: This was the best dish of the night. Really thinking outside of the box with the harissa sauce. Adds such a nice kick to the crudo. I think corn was a weird garnish but the scallops were so fresh and the harissa sauce made them acceptable. 5/5 Fresno Chile Ribs: Ribs were super tender but the sauce didn't have any Fresno chile to me. No kick or flavor. 3/5 Nuoc Mam Pork Belly: Pork belly should have some meat in it. The bite I had was literally all fat and like a sliver of actual meat. I'm baffled that even left the kitchen. 1/5 Overall, I gave Statebirds a try. I really tried to like it with trying many dishes. However, I don't see myself coming back. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're interested in the novelty of a dim sum cart (but at that point just go get actual dim sum).
I highly recommend this restaurant.
State Bird Provisions in San Francisco offers an innovative and delightful dining experience. The warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for an unforgettable meal from the moment I walked in. It's unique dim sum-style service, a feature that adds an element of surprise and fun to the dining experience. Small plates are wheeled around on carts, inviting diners to choose from a variety of dishes. Each plate, a culinary masterpiece, is not only visually appealing but also bursts with unique flavors. I started with the signature dish, the state bird. The crispy, succulent quail served was simply a texture lovers paradise. The combination of textures and flavors was perfectly balanced, making it clear why this dish is a standout. The ricotta pancakes are their perfect golden-brown exterior. They achieve a delicate crispness on the outside while remaining incredibly moist and tender on the inside. This contrast in textures is one of the reasons these pancakes are so irresistible. The butchers steak is a carnivore's delight, offering exceptional flavor and tenderness. The steak was cooked to perfection and boasts a rich, beefy, robust, and satisfying taste. The meat is incredibly juicy. What sets State Bird Provisions apart is its exceptional service. The staff, with their deep knowledge and friendly demeanor, are eager to explain each dish and offer recommendations. Their passion for the food and the concept of the restaurant is palpable, adding to the overall exceptional experience. You'll feel like a valued guest, well-cared for and guided through a culinary journey. State Bird Provisions is not just a recommendation, it's a must-visit for anyone in San Francisco. Its innovative approach to dining, high-quality ingredients, and exceptional service make it a standout in a city known for its culinary prowess. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this restaurant promises a memorable dining experience that is sure to impress. Don't miss out on this culinary gem.
Wonderful food in a chaotic setting
The food was inventive and very good. The service was also very good with multiple different staff members coming around with trays of distinctive dim sum items. These start to add up. In addition we ordered 3 oysters each, Wagyu Toast, and Caramelle. The last item was nice counterpoint to the spice in many of the small dishes. The restaurant was very crowded and noisy and we found it a little hard to hear the descriptions of the items on the trays. Fortunately we were able to sit in a small booth toward the back that was comparatively quiet. Now that we know how it all works we could return but, honestly, at our age we prefer a quiet restaurant with more traditional service.
Boisterous
A favorite of friends of mine. Apart from n/naka in LA, I cannot imagine there is a restaurant they like more than State Bird Provisions. A friend of mine (not the ones who are in love with SBP) and I were lucky to get a reservation just a day before eating there. Overall, we had very good food and some interesting beers. Everything tasted good. My main issue with the restaurant was the pace. They come by with smaller dishes (dim sum style) and you decide whether you want the dish or not. I felt rushed into making quick decisions as most things seemed good, but if you order everything you quickly eat too much and may have to miss out on some of the more interesting dishes. My friends laughed at me when I told them this, because I am a quick eater. Another thing is that the place is rather noisy. Overall, the whole atmosphere was a little bit chaotic rather than relaxing. Because my friends love this place so much, I will give it a ''second chance'' in the future. After all, it was not my favorite restaurant, but still very good.
Sensational
Surprise visit for my birthday. Wow! Would give 6 stars if I could. Wish I’d had room for everything on the menu and all the trolley dishes. No misses here. The star definitely deserved!

Managed to snag a 5:30 reservation at the counter for our anniversary dinner! We parked at the garage in the Japantown center and it was a short walk over, there was already a line forming outside before opening time. I liked how you could oversee the kitchen area at the counter, but did feel like we didn't get checked in on as much. They did add some cute stamp decorations to our menu for our anniversary We chose to get mostly the dim-sum plates to get a variety. Some definitely stood out more than others, but solid overall. Hog island oysters (4/5) - was a nice start, hog island oysters are always great but a bit steep at $4 each as they were small Szechuan duck dumpling (3.5/5) - the chili crisp flavor steals the show here, was solid Smoked trout dip (5/5) - one of my favorites of the night! The dip is smokey and not too fishy, and has some freshness to it. My partner doesn't even like fish but he said this was also one of his favorite dishes! Sauerkraut pecorino and ricotta pancakes (4/5) - the only thing we ordered a la carte, I appreciated that our server told us we could do a half order since it was filling, good flavor with the dipping salt Fried garlic bread with burrata (3/5) - was enticing as they came by with it, but was definitely too heavy and filled up too quickly, was good but nothing too special Steamed egg tofu (5/5) - the other favorite of the night! Sweet and savory, the pickled mushrooms added a nice kick Duck andouille sausage (4/5) - the dipping jam was good and the sausage itself was tasty Duck croquette (3/5) - the filling was a bit dry, but was fried well Dutch crunch bao (4/5) - the ginger elderflower cream had a nice kick to it, it was a bit sweet overall Peanut milk (5/5) - rich peanutty flavor, a nice "shot" to sip on for dessert! Overall this was a fun and nice experience, and not a super pricey Michelin starred meal! We paid about $120 for two people and were quite full at the end, some of the food didn't quite meet my expectations but there were some standouts!
This is a Michelin 1 star restaurant that serves small
This is a Michelin 1 star restaurant that serves small plates advertised as "dimsum" style. In reality, the staff just walked around with trays of food to each table and introduced each dish(other than the cart for oysters). Apparently you need to make a reservation a month in advance. I was able to grab a spot 9pm a day before and p empty when we got there. My favorite dish would be the oysters, although the flavor was overwhlemed by the pickled kohlrabi. Everything else was just alright, nothing really stood out. Their signature quail dish lacked flavor. Only dish I would order again were the oysters. Our night took a turn when we noticed that we were not given a menu after dimsum carts were stopped(but the table next to us did???). Our bill also came out to double the price. It almost felt intentional from the waiter as each dish is tracked with a tally mark on the check that is used to total the bill. Our waiter was quick to fix the bill, but not apologetic lol. Bill was about $50 pp. Left content but not satisfied... Tdlr: Didn't feel like Michelin star restaurant. Service was alright, not very attentive(our waiter). Half of the dishes were mediocre. Room for improvement
Food 4/5 Service 2/5 First time coming in and had a great
Food 4/5 Service 2/5 First time coming in and had a great experience for the most part. There were some misses, but the food was solid and liked the dim sum style experience. Really appreciated the amount of variety and how we could pick and choose the dishes we actually wanted to try. However, the service was questionable towards the end of the night. We had a 9:00PM reservation so towards 10:00PM they stopped the dim sum service. Instead they walked around and gave everyone dim sum menus in case they wanted to order more, but they did not give one to our table. We had a table right next to us who received the menu so it was a bit odd that they missed us. Later when we received the check, it came out to about $180, which seemed incorrect so I double checked. The server had added 3 additional $4 plates 6 additional $6 plates to our check. I hope this wasn't to intentionally dupe us, but considering that they track the dim sum using a tally mark system, I feel like it was hard to mistake. TL;DR food was great, experience was great, service had us scratching our heads. Will hopefully come back! Recommended dishes - hog island oyster and kohlrabi kraut - steamed egg tofu, pickled honshimeji, & garlic-chili oil - duck andouille, tomato jam, & fried runner beans - CA state bird with provisions (worth a try, but definitely liked everything else better)
Very ok.
Food tasted meh and there was no great flavor to anything. Spent $100 for little to no satisfaction. Oysters they served was raw and warm, the sauerkraut was the only factor to take away from the oyster flavor itself. Their garlic bread and cheese was not flavorful at all. Tasted like you dipped sourdough into warm ricotta.chips and salmon dip was the only thing that was decent, albeit you're paying $14 for chips and dip.... Quail was a huge let down, hoped to see a new style or flavor but it was simply just batter fried. Better flavor and price at Popeyes down the street sadly. It was cooked well though, juicy for how big it is which is hard for a quail. Beef tongue texture was good but was smothered by the amount of lemon juice they added on. Same thing with the quail it's like they squeezed half of it on there. Main dishes were tart and salty altogether. Did not enjoy the tasting experience but the ambiance is great.

State Bird Provisions in San Francisco is a restaurant, known for its inventive small plates and modern American cuisine served dim-sum style. The place received a Michelin star in 2021. AMBIANCE Cozy, urban-rustic setting with an open-concept kitchen and dining area. SERVICE Staff are friendly, helpful, and good with sales as they try to get you to purchase their small plates off their cart of tray: this creates a lively and communal atmosphere. FOOD 5/5 steamed egg tofu, pickled honshimeji & garlic-chile oil: cold, delicate, silky, smooth, tons of yummy umami flavor. Outrageously good, ordered twice. 5/5 smoked trout-allium chip'n' dip: smoky, creamy, rich and savory heaven 5/5 broccoli: delicate, smoky with a creamy heat 4.5/5 CA state bird with provisions wolfe ranch quail from brent: half order which includes 2 legs and wings, spiced and fried crispy - lots of bones 4.5/5 red trout toasted hazelnut & mandarin-garum vinaigrette: crispy seared fish in a pond of tangy umami fish sauce vinaigrette 4/5 sourdough-sauerkraut pecorino & ricotta pancakes: like a green onion pancake 4/5 hog island oyster, kohlrabi kraut & sesame: briny oyster topped with tangy fermented shredded kohlrabi 4/5 duck liver mousse & almond financiers: rich and creamy duck liver whipped to mousse perfection that's paired with bite sized French tea cakes that are subtlety sweet and nutty 3/5 wedge salad, walnut blue cheese ranch & deglet noor dates: fresh lettuce, wish there was more blue cheese PARKING Metered street spaces PS This dining experience holds a special place in my heart.
Made reservations a month ago for my brother's 40th
Made reservations a month ago for my brother's 40th anniversary. Table for four. All of us first-timers. Reservation time 5:30pm, which is right when they open. Got there on time. Long line out the door. At 5:30 the doors opened and the line moved quickly. My brother and I are fairly big people and the table/booth we were in looked small, but everyone was comfortable. The service was casual, attentive and efficient. In other words, really good. The food was consistently excellent. Everyone in our party agreed that the seasoning was just right, nothing too salty or underseasoned. Several dishes had spicy heat, but again, consistently just right. Enough heat to definitely notice (and appreciate) but never burn-your-face-off. Only criticism would be that the food cane at us a little too hard. That is, we ordered our 'commendables' aka entrees, and almost immediately the rolling cart/tray pass bites came one after another. Being rookies, we did not know that we could defer an offering and pick it later. So we kinda got a little overwhelmed. The cart/ tray pass bites were wonderful. The standouts were: a terrific tofu/vegetable thing; a pork belly thing; a pastry ricotta thing; a cucumber thing I missed but everyone else loved, and more. Cant remember them all but tge were great. The commendables included a fantastic dungeness/noodle dish, a marvellous katsu dish and, of course we did the quail. Very memorable and wonderful stuff. Next time we will pace things better, but overall it was great and reasonably priced.
Had a buyout event for 60 people at Statebird.
They absolutely knocked it out of the park. Caitlin was extremely helpful every step of the way to help us get things organized. Megan also kept everything running smoothly throughout the evening. All the guests raved about the food and beverage selection. The ambiance was perfect for a buyout event. We had a 90-minute cocktail reception, followed by a 2-and-a-half-hour dinner. Pacing was perfect, and the quality of food was excellent. No dimsum concept for the buyout event, but I think the family style dinner ended up working out much better anyways. Shoutout to the egg tofu, which was one of the highlights for many of our guests. The price estimate was spot on, payment flexibility was very much appreciated for us credit card point earners.

From being fortunate to try food from around the world from South east Asia to South America, I can say this ranks in my top ten. Small bites, as individual portions, intimate dining and swift service.

Amazing experience! The food was amazing and the staff was even better! They were very knowledgeable about both food and wines and suggested great items for both. It was Valentine's Day and we were surprised to get a reservation. Sitting at the bar was great to see all the action going on in the kitchen. I loved the dim sum style service and my favorites were the steamed egg tofu and duck liver mouse! We also ordered and LOVED hog island oysters, beets, ricotta pancakes, Dungeness crab noodles, Szechuan soup dumplings, cocoa nibs Tre leches, and warm chocolate walnut turnover. The also had a natural wine called Sciaccrellu/niellucciu: Faustine and it was fantastic. Overall, I was really impressed with all aspects of my experience! Would definitely recommend.
A must visit in San Francisco
Amazing, the ambiance, the food was amazing, and overall a high end affordable experience. We had 1 main course and about 4 of the side dishes. The staff was really nice, knowledgable and accommodating. 100/10
Inventive, charming, perfect!
One of the highlights of visiting beautiful San Francisco! The culinary offerings here are a delightful blend of comfort and innovation, always tantalizing the palate with their high-quality ingredients and a clear commitment to culinary excellence. Their constantly evolving menu is a fountain of delightful surprises!
Casual & interesting
Great concept, food was interesting and tasty. We enjoyed the casual vibe of the place. Service was fast although we had multiple wait staff during the night and they were a mixed bag - from good to bad. Nice & reasonable wine list. Overall very good value.
Exceeded Our Expectations
We went to SB based on a recommendation from a friend, and with very little detail. We were surprised to see a queue for dinner at 5.30 on a Thursday. Also, that the place was full a few minutes after that. The wait staff member valiantly tried to explain the concept, but we couldn’t hear anything above the excited voices on the (often) communal tables. At first the concept itself seemed odd - order from the menu, and/it order from the ‘dim sum style’, dishes that come around on trays or trolleys. We did a bit of both. It has to be said - the food was outstanding. Interesting options in different styles. We tried the duck liver parfait with mini sweet fanciers (great), the persimmon with sesame (very unusual and good), the signature state bird (California fried Quail), our fave - the little crumpet style pancakes with sauerkraut powder. We were too full to try the signature pork belly salad, but had the chocolate pecan pie. It was good but so what overwhelmed by the ginger cream with it. We loved the early 80s soundtrack - Blondie, Duran Duran, New Order, Howard Jones, etc. With wine we ran up a large bill in a short time. However, it was worth every cent. A must try when in SF.
The best San Francisco restaurant.
Wow wow and more wows. Was recommended by a local and was absolutely blown away by the style, the food quality, the tremendous service that was genuinely friendly and professional at the same time. The trolley and tray offer style of service is executed to perfection and every dish we tried was just brilliant. No wonder it was packed on a midweek evening and holds all the accolades it does.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!

Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?

Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.

Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
