Amazing.
This place really ticks a whole heap of boxes. It is a lovely venue - comfortable, and the tables are spaced so that you don't have to listen to another table's conversation! The staff are very welcoming, they are super efficient (without being overbearing) and they are incredibly knowledgeable about the food and the wine. The food is exceptional - tasty, very well presented, plentiful and takes you on a journey of textures, tastes and colours. The wine flight is delicious, and is well worth the extra. It isn't an inexpensive place to eat ... nearly £700 for two including wine flight, water and service charge ... but it is very much worth it for the experience. It was my partner's birthday, and they left a card on the table, plus the Sous chef came out with a birthday cake + candle, which was a nice touch too.
Solid choice in Budapest.
So it was on my list to do a Michelin star restaurant while in Budapest. Stand had great reviews so I went with that. Overall I think it was very, very good. I ended up going solo because my husband was sick. It was really cool to see the way they served with a table of 3. The waiters did everything in sync. I can say as a solo diner I didn’t feel like the service was very warm, but it was still incredibly competent. Also, sometimes with a tasting menu you will leave hungry. Not here, by the end I was leaving food on the plate because it was so much. One negative is I think they over salted a lot of dishes. My bill was about $270 with the service charge, water and a non-alcoholic drink.
Great anniversary dinner!
This restaurant is hands down the best restaurant we have ever been to. The food was amazing, and the wine pairings were perfect. We recommend tasting everything on the menu and follow every tip and recommendation the servers have. Even though the food and wine pairing were exceptionally good, the servers deserve every praise we can give. They gave us interesting facts and stories behind every dish, and made us feel well taken care of. We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Stand!
Stunning
We had read the reviews and expect great things and that’s exactly what we had. Food exceptional. Most courses10/10 a couple only 9/10! Every dish not only tasted fantastic but looked like a work of art. A perfect night so far as food is concerned. On the negative side, the price of the wines was just off the scale. Cheapest bottle €60 off putting . Staff excellent , service, friendly , knowledgeable and appropriate. Best meal in a long time.

Top End
The 2 Michelin stars are well deserved. Dress casual is OK but suits were present. Service was outstanding and friendly. The multi course evening was outstanding both visually and to the taste. The wine offered by the glass could have been more in keeping with the quality of the meal. Suggest selecting your own bottle. A true dining experience.
A memorable feast for all the senses!
Starting with a lively atmosphere and a view to the the kitchen/operation theater, we were pampered all the way through by our servers and sommelier to our sojourn into the late night, including a signed birthday greeting by the Chef and her talented team. From the amuse bouche forward we experienced typical Hungarian ingredients, flavors and dishes re-imagined through rigorous culinary best practices and presented in a most artistic and whimsical way. The Chef and her team displayed confidence in the choice of ingredients by adding surprising twists that brought out our smiles and appreciation. Our group of three relaxed in good hands and were able to have a lively conversation among ourselves and with the staff. The Hungarian wine pairing elevated the experience of the local tastes. The staff and kitchen team seem to be performing like a perfectly timed orchestra, and the refinements of glassware, cutlery and plate shapes did not go unnoticed. As the crescendo of flavors advanced to the main courses, one could feel the sense of wellbeing that endorphins provide without fail when such succulent fare and great atmosphere are combined. The nuances of flavor and surprises along the way convinced us that what we were experiencing was one of the most memorable dinners for all three of us. This is quite a feat considering our age and extensive international travel. Congratulations to the entire team for elevating our Hungarian feast to one of the best in the in the world!

Outstanding food and service . They took Hungarian food to the next level. Every course was delicious. They attended to every detail from breads to fish to dessert. You will be full and satisfied.

I wrote this review on the Dinner Booking site but had to repost it here We had an amazing experience at Stand from the second we walked in the door. There is a lovely atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door. We’ve dined in a number of restaurants of this calibre and Stand exceeded our expectations. The food is exquisite from start to finish. It was flawless and amazingly executed. What tips this restaurant over the bar for me is the staff. They have the perfect balance between knowledge of the food, professionalism and friendliness. Special shout out to Sophie, she has such a lovely manner and made the experience great! (And brought extra bread to my partner who couldn’t get enough of it!!!….even the bread exceeded expectation!) We were extremely grateful and appreciative to have been allowed to take a look at kitchen as one of our dishes were being prepared. The kitchen is pristine and the level of concentration and attention to detail is excellent. As an ex chef, my partner was even more appreciative to see the kitchen! The value for money is great, yes it is expensive in general but factoring in 2 Michelin stars and the level of service, I felt it was worth every penny. The team are very transparent with regard to any supplements that may be added because of the dish. I would 100% recommend this restaurant and will return should we ever come back to Budapest

I went alone do to my company being ill. I was prepered with music/earbuds in case I would feel alone but after 4½ hours I had not even once thought of putting them in. The understanding of the situation, the kindness of the Staff, the inclusiveness, the quality of the food, the taste and presentation of the food. I am amazed. I spend a little time throughout the evening to write notes about every dish I got (8-14 course dinner menu) including how the wine was (also how I felt with the pairing) but I won't go into details here. It can be summed up quite easily: everything was sublime. A special thanks to Zsófia V., Bence & Borbély T. You most definately made my evening better than I could've ever expected. Needless to say, he was jaloux yet very grateful of your personal message do to his situation. I will, with no doubt, return in the future - expectfully with company next time.
Got to be our best ever dining experience
Whilst we do not have a lot of 2 star michelin experiences to compare this to (none in fact), it was without a doubt the best meal and dining experience we have ever had. I had booked Stand as a surprise for my wife as part of our Anniversary weekend away. And to say that she was blown away is an under statement. From the minute we arrived and the warm welcome we received (by name without us introducing ourselves) to the minute we left, there is nothing that I could fault Stand on. The food was out of this world, and I lost count as to how many courses there actually were in the end, it just never seemed to end...what was a great thing as each course just got better and better. The knowledge of each member of the team was great and they were very happy to answer any queries/questions they had. They are incredibly proud of what they do and the awards they have won. They spent a lot of time talking to us about Tamsz and Ben's awards and brought across numerous articles/books show casing their victories. The personal touch from every member of staff was phenomanal and meant that our evening was out of this world. We could not have asked to have spent a better night celebrating our anniversary than here.

Perfection in every bite
What a wonderful address the Stand is! The two Michelin stars are well deserved. The dinner menu consists of 8 dishes focusing on Hungarian cuisine and all its riches. The cooking is perfect, the flavors controlled and balanced, the tastes just right. The Chef's signature dish won a Bocuse d'Or and gave us a culinary orgasm! My husband's food allergy to mustard was perfectly respected, they were ultra-vigilant, as for me with the cabbage. My husband took the “small food and wine pairing” to taste Hungarian wines. The “big deal” was focused on French wines. This interested him less being French. We were lucky enough to have the table with a view of the open kitchens. This allowed us to see the brigade and the deputy chief working in a good atmosphere. The service is very friendly, smiling, caring and attentive. It’s flawless!
Exceptional experience
The food here was exceptional, and the care for detail of the chef's team was second to none. Precision is everything in a restaurant at this level, and absolutely everything was at the expected level. Every single thing we ate was sensational, and moving forward through the eight courses, you realise how much effort is behind every single course. The chef's signature is very present in the taste of every finished product. The sommelier is a true wine aficionado. The vine list is extensive and very, very well curated. On one side, you can find the world's top wines, from Krug to Petrus, while the stars of Eastern Europe vineyards from Hungary to Croatia and Romania are also there for those who prefer to stay local. Congratulations!
Best gastro experience ever
The place is best of the best. I have never had such an exclusive dinner experience so far in my life. With my wife we had an 8+1 course chef's menu. We spent about 3 and a half hours dining and not a second of it was wasted. From entering the restaurant until leaving there is not a moment that was not 5 star superior. The staff, waiters, sommelier were polite, not pushy at all and were really experts on their field. We were asked at the end which course we liked best and honestly I was in trouble... I could have listed all of them. The tastes, structure and outlook of all the dishes were just incredible. We chose hungarian wines that were a hit. Superb. I have already been to several michelin star restaurants but without doubt this is to be ranked highest. So anyone thinking about going here: it is not just advised it is certainly a must if you like haute cuisine.

Travelled from England to eat here as an early Christmas present . The Food was outstanding had tasting menu ( regular and pescatarian) with wine flight. Was a bit different from what you might expect in UK fine dining. All staff spoke great English, and were very helpful and fun.

Just PERFECTION!
My girlfriend and I often eat at restaurants from the Michelin guide because it is our passion. This is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. The place is cozy and warm, the staff is excellent, the food is cooked to perfection with a superb balance of flavors, THE RESTAURANT DESERVES all the praise, awards and positive comments it receives, they managed to capture our time and create a wonderful memory for us. It's only a matter of time before they get the 3rd star so hurry up.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
