Worth a detour
Really interesting food in this quirky, small restaurant. Well presented, tasty and well priced. We will visit again when back in Palma

Spectacular food. I congratulated Chef Joel on leaving. One definition could be "The King of Aftertaste." Complex flavors with an apparent simplicity. VERY GOOD. Very good service.

Very good service and fantastic food. We ate some tapas dishes and then the main menu. Finished with dessert and were super satisfied.

One of the better restaurants we visited in Palma. Only 16 seats inside, still airy and fresh. Very good food and very nice and good service.

There were three chairs as decoration on the wall next to us when my fiancé had dinner. I wish I could have taken two of them and sat there for ever. Gobbling that delicious food till we grew old and fat, then falling off; too heavy for the the wall. What a place. Each dish was better than the next. Special recommendation to the foie gras toast, pork and ceviche. Our waitress was also fantastic. Attempted to warn us we ordered perhaps too much, little did she know.

You need to eat here! One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been too. We had the bread with chimichurri sauce, oysters, croquettes, tuna tartar, avocado gazpacho, eggs with truffle and potatoes foam, Wagyu steak, chocolate ganache, and the lemon dessert. All tasty and that with wine split up between 2 people was only 65 euros.

This restaurant came to us recommended by one of the travel blogs we follow and have good experience with. I must say it was not the only Michelin restaurant we visited while in Palma but for us this was the best experience and the best food. Small cosy place, quite casual and modern looking. Food was beyond amazing, full of flavor every dish. Amazing value for the money we paid and quality we received. We loved all dishes that we ordered. Make sure you don’t miss this place if you love good food and happen to be in Palma de Mallorca….

Seriously this place is mesmerising! To make reference to the reviews about the rude staff (and I’ve said this before)…be nice and people will be nice to you! The food here was incredible ! Previous review for Joan Marc in Inca was praiseworthy. This place joins the club! Well done. Plus thanks for the two amazing girls who took care of us. Explained dishes with great detail. The food was TOO GOOD. The gyozas actually brought a tear to my eye. Unbelievable

What a special meal. This restaurant had very good reviews so we hoped it would live up to expectations. It did! Every course was special and by the end, we felt we had experienced something unique. Lovely to eat in a small and intimate space where all the diners had individual attention. Book early!

Yes, the portions are very small. Bite size. But everything was delicious! The tapas, meat, dessert, just an amazing treat, and the service was also really nice. Well worth a visit!

Very bad Sleepy service, poor food quality, and when we asked why it was like this they stated that their kitchen was backed up, yet the restaurant was damn near empty.

Second time here, recommended it to many friends, great food but dreadful attitude. A bad booking process. Improvement required from the Stagier team as great food isn’t enough.
I booked for a relaxed Christmas dinner with friends. We had travelled a long way. Booking confirmed the previous night by email. Greeted with “you didn’t reconfirm when we tried to call you earlier”. “We can squeeze you in for an hour and a quarter” which we reluctantly accepted with no other options. Although this was bad enough how they handled it was worse.
Their email mentions nothing about the condition to reconfirm-what happens if you were flying for instance or had your phone off how could they reach you. We discovered from the next guests taking our table when leaving that whilst Stagier confirmed we had the table for 2 hours these guests were booked for our table 30 minutes before our two hour period which was presumably the reason they wanted to call us.
I showed them my phone to prove they didn’t call me. They argued and argued in front of our guests and diners which was hugely embarrassing but ultimately couldn’t prove they did call me. They couldn’t explain why they didn’t email me when they couldn’t get through. I eventually had to firmly ask the Maitre’d to leave me alone she was so aggressive. Although the wronged party I got full on arrogance, inability to accept they might just have messed up and a lack of honesty about the real reason-they needed the table back earlier than agreed. No apologies, not even a gesture such as a drink, coffee to repair things and say happy Christmas. Just give us what was a lot of money and then we are pushed out.
The Stagier food is excellent but this type of attitude to your customers will kill this little treasure. If you don’t believe me look at recent Trip advisor reviews where a similar trend of complaint is evident. Stagier, at this level you need to listen to what your customers are telling you. Less of the arrogance. More honesty. More respect to your customers. A better booking system.
Some constructive criticism from people in the hospitality business. A great meal isn’t enough for your customers to want to go through this awful experience. Stagier can do better. We hope we are welcome back to see if these issues are sorted next time which from experience are essential for the restaurants future success.
Incredible Service & Food Always
This is one of the best restaurants in Palma. Owner chef Joe is an incredible inspiration & his food is always delicious. The pandemic has hit the restaurant sector hard & most clients respect the 2 hour allotted time without tantrums or negative, rude reviews. El Camino & Cor have the same policy & it’s ignorant to expect otherwise. I dine here a lot & only have memorable fabulous dinners. Parking is awkward in this area but there is a public car park 5 minutes away without hassle. Majority of Mallorca chefs dine here which highlights the brilliance of Stagier. Last but not least is the superb hard working charming owners wife ensuring the smooth running of Stagier & dealing with clients questions & sometimes difficult situations. I highly recommend for food , service & they are one of the the nicest couples in Palma. Congratulations on your new baby daughter.

We arrived five (5) minutes early. It was raining cats and dogs. I mean really pouring. The staff was inside. We knocked on the door. No reaction from the staff. Knocked again. A staff member opens and says we open at 19.30. Ok we said but it’s pouring! He says ”we open at 19.30”.
At 19.30 they let us in (of course). We are the only ones there so early so it’s empty. And we are wet and a little peed off.
So the food was amazing. Really out of this world. And we were kind of forgetting the arrogance with which they had greeted us. And then the waitress comes with the bill without us asking for it. Why we ask. It’s only two (2) hours sitting time and they have other guests wanting our table. Ok we pay. We leave. Then the new guests and us start to speak with each other. They ask ”you don’t look so happy”. I say no we were kind of thrown out. They say ”yea the food is great but the service”. And then comes one of the owners and starts an argument with us. Telling us off and we should look at their website for instructions on times for tables. Well looking at websites is a bit 2005 I say. But she insists that is how they communicate. Well I said I looked at your facebook info. And that info is your summer opening hours.
