Great Spring Ski On-Mountain Lunch
Looking for an On-mountain lunch, this was perfect place. Great view of the skiing from the tables with outdoor seating also. A nice chili/soup lunch. Normal on mountain food pricing, but Epic pass got a discount. Will eat there next ski trip.

We showed up here for lunch and found out we couldn't eat since we didn't have a reservation. They were able to get us in at the "heated" outdoor tent. We were quite cold and looking forward to warming up over lunch. Unfortunately, inside the tent was very cold and so no ability to warm up. Very little to choose from at lunch and everything is packaged.
Be the first to ReplyI love breaking for lunch
I love breaking for lunch after skiing all morning, and still being on the mountain. Spruce saddle was good, but unfortunately during covid they had fewer options. I’m sure during normal times it’s better. It’s great to use your epic pass for a discount too, since it’s extremely expensive for anything lol. Delicious soups, salads, and burgers.

Great, central mountain location. Our group met there for lunch. Everybody had something they liked and we had the room to seat a large group. High price, yeah, but what on mountain restaurant at any resort isn't that way.
Be the first to ReplyPricey but really good!
We really liked the selection of foods in this on-hill diner. Great selection of salads, fresh fruit, soups (ramen bar with tai soup was great!). Great hot chocolate too - not too sweet. Yes, it is pricey. But this is a pricey area to be. We had food in other on-hill diner at the bottom of the Red Buffalo lift - the price was the same but the food selection was much worse. So we actually made a point of coming for lunch to Spruce Saddle, and even for snack-toilet breaks between skiing. We also tried to get there in not traditional times, at about 10.30-11 am and then for late lunch, and we were easily able to get the seats with great mountain views and no lines at all. Definitely recommend as the place to eat healthy meal while on the mountain.

Really good selection with lots of options. Baked potato bar was awesome! My son really liked the beef fried rice bowl. Typical high prices for ski lodge cafeteria.
Be the first to ReplyGood selection but way over priced.
I guess the mindset is to overcharge the captive audience...the skier. A hamburger is $18. Bowl of Mac and cheese , $11. Loaded baked potato, $15. Hot chocolate, $5. Disappointing that they charge so much. Obvious greed.
Be the first to ReplyBusiest place on the mountain
This is the main place to eat on the mountain, in the midst of everything. Therefore, it is also very busy, especially if the weather is at all bad. It has the typical options - overpriced, but expected, burgers, salads, chili. The quality is good, but you pay for it. This is the most crowded of the mountain options and even with a large space, it can be hard to find seating for large numbers of people. The bathrooms are downstairs - can be a tough climb up and down in ski boots.

Not too atypical of a restaurant on the ski mountain. Overpriced. Food decent and large portions. Wish there were more options for smaller dishes.
Be the first to Replyexpensive, crowded--tasty food
We were here on busy 3 day weekend. Packed. Hard to find place to sit--even upstairs. The food is quite tasty but expensive. Recommend the Pho and chili. Don't but the $5 starburst.
