Sorellina Boston Reviews from The Last Year
Mediocre experience at this upscale restaurant
A very expensive restaurant. Food was fine, except the asparagus - someone in the kitchen forgot to remove the dry end which was inedible. Disappointing that despite pointing this out, the manager never came over to apologize.
A Great Italian dining establishment in Boston
A great spot recommended by our concierge and that was an amazing dinner. My Tuna tartar, Lumache and my Branzino all perfectly done and delicious. And the recommended wines all made it a great evening. Excellent service too.
Other reviews say it all.
Blah blah blah restaurant. Give the team 4 stars for working so hard. Food is okay ... delicious but not special. Pricey. Be prepared to drop the Amex!
Excellent evening
Simply excellent dinner. Staff was incredible - especially the wine advisor. Delicious food, great wine, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. I will return here again.
Fine dining.
Great calamari with spinach and salmon perfectly prepared. Nice selections of wine and solid cocktails. The service could have been a bit cozier as there were some junior staff that didn't quite have the same polish.
The food and ambience were amazing ! Loved this Restaurant,
The food and ambience were amazing ! Loved this Restaurant, will be back for sure , can't believe we hadn't been here after living in Boston 16 years and love good food !!
Happy, happy birthday dinner
I dined here for a friend's b'day and thoroughly enjoyed it. A little more light to read the menu would have been appreciated. I enjoyed my caesar salad which was a wedge with the requisite dressing and cheese and an airy crisped toast piece. Bread was delightfully chewy. Several loaves were [laced for the table of 9. Others seemed to enjoyed their salad and pasta first course. I had salmon which was truly one of the best I'd ever had and a decent size. It was served with a few vegetables in an interesting chestnut puree. There were potatoes and carrots and broccoli and a blueberry-looking like piece which I could not identify. I'd wished I'd ordered a side as the vegetable melange was quite small. Prosecco was superb. Since a birthday cake was brought in, we did not sample desserts. Service was not intrusive and unhurried. I'd return!
Excellent and accommodating staff.
I stopped by to see if we could get special seating for a relative and the hostess/manager called another hostess over to give me a VIP tour of the restaurant. This is by far my favorite Italian restaurant in Boston. The food was delicious- lovingly prepared and the decor was opulent.

Wow I am no foodie and I was blown away how much I loved
Wow I am no foodie and I was blown away how much I loved this place Ambiance was nice but still welcoming and not over pretentious. Perfect volume to enjoy each other's company in our group of seven Service was great. Our waiter Kirk knew the menu so well and shared it in a way that was thorough, not annoying, and made me want to try everything. Thanks, Kirk! The rest of the crew seemed to swoop in to clear etc at just the right time, totally friendly and unobtrusive Food was all memorable. Every single thing. I had the oysters as app.. might have been my favorite ever. Not typical.. the cider granita with them was so nice Romaine salad and Branzino was amazing.. the kale dish that complimented was perfect. Maybe a tad salty for my taste but so good still. Wine selection was a winner Only coffee for dessert, good coffee well done Coming back for sure to try more when I'm in town
Ambience is the best feature here.
candles, seats, and cutlery was nice. Food is good, but not very special, just good at normal fancy dinner type of things. Deserts though were really good. Service is fine, it's just has this snobby and classy place vibe. Overall would come again though.
I have been going to Sorrelina for the past 6 years.
Hands down it has been my go to place for a peaceful, romantic dinner with the finest cuisine. I have never sent anything back to the kitchen nor complained about anything. There was never anything to say other than. " Sorrelina is my favorite in Boston". I can go there. Relax from a hectic day and get a fabulous meal with impeccable service I'm writing to tell you that the past few times I have been this year the ambiance has change. The music loud and disruptive to the elegance of the restaurant. The patrons have to talk over the one step below disco music. We could hardly speak without raising our voices. New Year's Eve I have a fabulous cosmopolitan. Tonight is was a smaller glass and over kill with lime juice. I did send it back. I preferred the Branzini which was fresh and cooked correctly but the sauce was over lemoned. And I'm greek. I love lemon! My husband ordered the pork chop and it was so tough he sent it back and got a plain order of truffle pasta. No protein was available. No scallops available The waiter was kind enough not to charge us for it. The service was ok nothing special. Just over all disappointing to tell you the truth What is going on over there?
My boyfriend and I came for a nice dinner after a little
My boyfriend and I came for a nice dinner after a little bit of shopping. The service was really good, our waiter was kind and efficient. We shared the raviolis as an appetizer, and we both had the grilled veal chop as a main course. Both were spectacular. To finish with our dessert which was lovely. The restaurant itself is perfect for a romantic evening.
Wonderful vibe, good food and great service.
Perfect place to enjoy a high-end meal and enjoy the company you're with. Very close to Copley and worth your time and money.
Back Bay Boston Elegance
Elegant dining room with first class service. We started with squash soup and a salad and both were excellent, I had veal medallions and my wife the salmon.... both were beautifully prepared. This is a Boston winner and we shall be back.
Scrumtious food and great service in a dark, noisy dining room.
The wine list features an extensive list of wines by the glass. I asked our friendly, literate server, Mark, what he liked between the Barolo and the Brunello. He said he would pour a bit of each for me to taste. I chose the Brunello. My wife chose a fine Sancerre. For appetizers, my wife's fresh oysters were, served on a bed of ice, reinforced by bits of Meyer (sweet, not sour) lemon zest. She pronounced the oysters "sumptuous." My "Branzino," consisted of about eight little round objects, that consisted of Persian cucumbers, finger limes, Calabrian chilies, sea beans and lemon. It proved to be $27 worth of ten skimpy little bites. The arugala salad with pine nuts and Parmagian held for this vegan eater, was crisp and refreshing. My wife's medium-rare, tender, tasty salmon served with a light, sweet sauce proved to be a succulent delight. My fettucini with mushrooms sans black truffle butter and Parmigiano were perfectly al dente and yummy. Our friend, who had skipped previous courses, enjoyed a full-flavored game hen made tender by a leg confit. We all felt sated by dessert time. The dessert menu incluced tiramisu and warm molten chocolate cake (were they you kidding?), but I ordered a trio the chef's selection of sorbetti, namely mango, lime and grape. We hung around to converse with our fun, literate server, Mark. I asked him about Sorrelina's downsides: the noise that made one have to shout to be heard across the table, the low light that required me to use a flashlight to read the menu. He replied that every time he emerged from the brightly lit kitchen into the dark dining room, it took a moment for him to get dark-adapted. As for the noise, Mark said he had been in noisier restaurants; so have I, but I find in uncomfortable to dine in a noisy place.

The site doesn't have resources to properly execute a reservation transfer. Some places allow it however the best bet is to open a chat on the listing from the seller and communicate there

Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
