Dubious
The reception by the maître des service was a little embarrassing, as he had rudely pointed out to us that we had arrived late, although we had tried to inform the restaurant of the delay by making two phone calls, but no one answered the phone call, even though the restaurant was only 15% full. Wrong behavior from the customer's point of view!!! The customer is king and also pays the employees' wages. When we are in Zurich, we eat out every day and therefore have a portfolio that we are constantly expanding. Due to this wrong behavior, the Seerose is unfortunately not on our "favorite" list. Please train the people responsible or replace them with suitable ones. Thank you for your attention. Rodolfo
Total disappointment
The service was good, the food was totally overpriced! All the meals were bland and uninteresting. For the price you can definitely expect more than mediocre cuisine. Unfortunately we won't be coming back and it's a shame that there isn't more to offer at a location like this.
Pure holiday feeling!
We had lunch on the terrace today. The view over the lake into the mountains was fantastic and the food and service were excellent as usual! The Seelily is always a great address at lunchtime and in the evening, whether indoors or outdoors!
Dinner at Seerose for two
We had a great dinner in one of the most beautiful places on Lake Zurich. The food was excellent and the service was very customer-oriented and friendly.

Very nice ambience, good and friendly service and very fine food. I'm already looking forward to the beautiful spring days on the terrace ;-)

A pity
It's a shame that the "Tornedos de boeuf" are no longer available with Madagascar butter and pommes allumettes; this was the absolute highlight and the reason why I have been coming back for around 15 years. The service was also no longer as professional as it used to be.
oversalted, cheeky and not worth the price
Over-salted dinner for CHF 400 and a cheeky German brat at the cash register - in context definitely too cheeky and incompetent for her age. a shame for the competent and very friendly service, which deserved better. absolutely not worth the price.
Nice restaurant
Beautiful, stylish restaurant right on the lake. Quiet and relaxed in the middle of the week at this time of year. Good selection of vegetarian dishes.
Unfriendly
Beautiful view Great place to enjoy Cool menu Service extremely unfriendly, the gentleman had no desire to serve us, long waiting times even though the terrace was half empty…. When asked where the toilet was, the unfriendly answer was: inside… No eye contact, no warmth. No, sorry, I don't have to put up with that again….

I have some reservations coming up tomorrow that have gotten lots of views but haven’t sold yet. I haven’t made a sale yet since I just joined this week. I keep lowering the price, but am worried they won’t sell. How long did it take you to sell your first reservations? And did you have success being reimbursed by AT for no-show or cancellation fees? Just looking for a little reassurance. Thanks!

You should probably cancel prior to the cancellation date per the cancellation policy. I would imagine you would only get reimbursed for a sold listing if you happen to be charged?

My first sale took about a week. But as the other commenter said stay ontop of your cancellation windows. There’s no reimbursement for those so make sure you cancel in time then just try again.
