My husbands burger was undercooked he was sick immediately
My husbands burger was undercooked he was sick immediately after and had to exit Star Wars Rise of the Resistance twice to the use the bathroom and was unable to finish the ride, we had to leave the park early as he as having to run to a rest room every 15 minutes. Staff was ok, not very great to communicate with and drinks or refills took a while. Overall the experience wasn't worth the tab.

The food is ordinary except for dessert ! The atmosphere is very themed and interesting , family loved seating in 50s style cars , the movie clips are hilarious. I must say we got this reservations same day with Fantasmic meal package ! A great thanks to a wonderful service mousewatcher.com these guys have made our dining reservations easy and hassle free. For 5$ we got reservations to every restaurant we wanted several times in a row on the same day ( I should probably keep them a secret) ... :)

Love the idea of a Drive In Movie theater feel will having the best made to order burger well this is the place to visit. As soon as you walk in you are transported to another era in time. The service is great and prompt with your requests. I was there celebrating my birthday and they surprised me with a delicious cupcake with a candle. They Also offer a full service bar for those that want to try their selection. The short films and commercials on screen are a delight and may bring back good memories to many who can relate.

Be the first to ReplyThis will forever and always be one of my favorite
This will forever and always be one of my favorite restaurants, not just in Disney, but on the face of the earth. Setup to give the illusion of being in 1950s Hollywood, CA at a drive-in theater, you are transported back in time to dine in a car and watch movies on the big screen. The menu is classic burger shack fair with a little modern flair. My son and husband both had burgers and I had the chicken salad sandwich. The chicken salad was very lemony and fresh. My husband enjoyed his burger, my son didn't seem to hungry so he ate about half of his burger. But he had apple slices and fries and enjoyed both of those. There are shakes and cocktails and beers available. It's not a gigantic menu but it still gives plenty of options. We had a very attentive server as well, which made things even better. Can't wait to return someday!
Be the first to ReplyThis place sucks.
An hour wait for cold dry tenders and a burnt bacon burger. My experience was so bad I will never be coming back. I might not even want to go back to Hollywood studios I'm sick of the lackluster food they need to get a menu like Epcot.

This experience was definitely one for the books! We loved that we could sit down in an themed "outdoor drive in" restaurant and just relax within a theme park! *reservations are a must* We heard wait times from people trying to check in with LONG wait times, so I'm thankful we had a reservation! Upon getting there, check in at the front, then wait for the text asking you to come back to get seated. Not a long wait at all! Upon entering, the staff member tells you where restrooms are located & brings you to your car! At first we were a bit upset that our seat was at the back most car, in the back most seat of the car, sharing it with a family in front of us, but it was actually the BEST place we could have been. We got to see the whole theater, and it felt fun being in the "back seat of a car" watching a movie under the stars haha. Our server was beyond delightful, helping us with the menu and being so in-character & sweet. *she was actually the one who helped us realize what An awesome seat we got!* also, towards the end of the meal, she went above and beyond giving us two cute Mickey cupcakes to celebrate our honeymoon :) She signed our receipt with "congratulations! Best wishes and happiness always!" Which honestly made us feel super special! Thank you, Cindy!! The food was fairly standard park/drive in food, but what can you expect? I reallly enjoyed the fried pickles (the sauce it came with was delicious!), the cookies and cream shake that we got as well as my chicken salad croissant with fries. My husband greatly enjoyed the burger special that day! We had some extra food and took it to go, but we were definitely stuffed, so portions were great! Some cons: -because you are dining "underneath the stars" it can be pretty dark in there. The lights in the car are prettt dim, so it was a bit hard to see the menu/eat our food in the dark, but we did it! -the seats that you slide into are pretty tight. Meaning you may not have much room between you and the table when eating, which could make for an uncomfortable experience. We didn't mind much as we were more enthralled with the cool experience! -food is basic and doesn't stand out much, but well themed for the place! Some pros:-already stated, but the ambience inside is really cool! Very well themed and they do actually play fun shows and ads. -not too loud and not too quiet. You can have a conversation, but still enjoy the movie(s) playing! -the service we had was well themed and top notch :) Overall, I'm so pleased to have been able to dine here once. I'm unsure if I would come again, but if we had time, I think the experience would be fun to enjoy and I'd love to see it in from another car in a different area as well. I definitely think this is an experience everyone should do at least once!

After learning about this place I was curious to try it and when it was the only one with the exact time slot available for a reservation, we finally got the opportunity to do so. I'll preface this by saying that there are definitely times when I am curious to try a place more based on the atmosphere than the fare offered, especially if I'm not particularly hungry at the time. (This was one of those times)The restaurant itself is located within the Hollywood studios park, so you need to have park admission to have access. One frustrating point was that we made a reservation for 6:40, showed up at 6 and waited until probably 7 to actually be seated. If this is a place you want to try, I recommend making a reservation because after sitting next to the hostess stand for nearly an hour, almost every person who walked up was turned away except at one point when a young woman walked up and inquired and was told she could get a non-car table momentarily. So their walk up system is pretty much non existent and you just have to be lucky or walk up at precisely the right moment since they don't take names or keep a list or anything.Inside, was pretty cool. The only thing that stuck out to me was how incredibly quiet it was inside, almost eerily so. I'm assuming most people were either exhausted from their days or just watching the clips being played on screen or perhaps both. The cars are small. I was pretty shocked at how tiny our little two person table car was but adapted to it quickly. Definitely a little strange at first. I had considered booking a dinner here for us with some friends but this is not really the place to have a conversational dinner as many of the 4 or 6 seater cars consist of bench seats for two all facing forward, if that makes sense. There were a couple non-car more traditional round tables in the back and I did see some cars that seated people across from each other for 8 people, I believe. We ordered one of the burgers and chicken salad sandwich and shared both. I enjoyed the burger a bit more than the chicken salad. The fries were very salty, which I greatly enjoyed. There are some cool drinks on the menu, both alcoholic and non. It's a cute place with a cute concept but don't expect to be blown away. There is no culinary artistry here. You're basically there for the atmosphere. If you want a simple meal in an interesting setting, this is it. I tried to photograph our food but it was just too dark!
Be the first to ReplyCouples only.
.forget going with a group. The tables are cars that only fit 2 people. We booked a large group and got split up all over the room. Don't expect to visit when there. The management said they couldn't seat us together even though we booked 3 months ahead. We arrived 30 mins early. They seated us 45 mins late from our reservation so a total of 75 mins waiting to be split up. The Ceaser is terrible. It's romaine hearts split in half with dressing on the bottom of the plate. So you have to cut up all of the lettuce in the dark and try to mix with the dressing. It doesn't come with enough dressing so I asked for more, it was still bad. I really wanted to like it cause I love garlic but please skip.Cool place if you are a group of 2 but skip otherwise.
Be the first to ReplyA must dining experience when traveling to Disneyworld.
You are seated in a car just as you would be at a drive in movie while sci fi films play on the big screen. The menu includes various burgers, pasta dishes, and beverages including milkshakes. I tried the impossible burger which comes with vegan mozzarella and portobello mushroom. The burger was good but could have a vegan cheese with better melting capability. The fried pickles were delicious.

Loved this restaurant!! Cute concept and the food was very good. Would go back just to eat here. You're sitting in your "car" with other people, but you don't feel like you're being invaded. Also the movies on the screen doesn't distract you from your meal or you party.
