I've been wanting to come here for a while, and the stars finally aligned. Saffy's still has the fresh energy of a new restaurant, but the staff seems very well-practiced in hospitality. Their warm vibe is quite welcoming and feels authentic. The ambience and service feel upscale yet casual and upbeat. Everything we ordered (tempura, hummus, olives and kebabs) were all super tasty and well-prepared. My socks weren't blown off, but I enjoyed everything we had. More than anything, this is a great place to relax with an old friend or have a date night. By far my favorite order of the night was the mezcal sour. And then another. We didn't opt for dessert and thank God because... The only downside is that Saffy's adds up fast. 3 apps, 4 drinks, and 2 kebob orders came to about $155/person including tip and valet. I would value my experience at about $100/person. So again, inflation has messed with my perception of an otherwise positive experience. I could easily make Saffy's a place I visit two or three times a year, but at these prices, once a year is enough. Parking in the neighborhood is futile, so it's nice that their valet accepts plastic (w/ a $1.50 surcharge).

We celebrated a friend's birthday here and I also came across it because there is Vietnamese coffee shop across the street. The place is elegant, with a cozy interior. It's filled with a mix of modern and traditional decor, including polished wooden tables, vibrant tiles, and artistic wall pieces. The lighting is soft and warm, creating an inviting atmosphere. Given that it was warm and sunny, we decided to dine outdoors. We ordered the following: Appetizers: - Peruvian scallop crudo- very unique taste. It was fresh but also tasted like curry. Different but worth it. - hummus tahini - turmeric mussels Large plates: -wood-fire shawarma plate - 2 skewers of the chicken shishlik Dessert: Banana cake with soft cheese frosting, baharat spiced pecan We also had a few drinks, but I can't remember the names. Overall it was absolute delicious. The server was very nice and provided great recommendations. She was attentive the entire time. I will definitely come back to try other items.
Sadly this used to be my favorite in LA.
We were sat at a table that was called the last supper, it was a packed evening we were all sitting on One side and it was super loud. We were not able to hear each other so we didn't speak at all. I was bummed because our favorite dish was sold out and we were sat 35 minutes late. It was an expensive bummer! Service was great but the experience not so much.

Of particular note was the Red Snapper Tagine and the kabobs (beef, lamb, and chicken. Pork not so much). Also Mia made some great cocktail and dessert recommendations: milk punch, banana cake, and peach peach cobbler.

. the food is really good and has some very interesting touches. The chicken and meat kabob very tender and tasty. Endive salad out of ordinary with tasty lemon dressing.. the service is outstanding.. everything is the way you expect from the owner of Bavel and Bestia .. they really it right.. only big problem is the parking and valet being 13 dollars...that is the reason they don't get 5 star from me .. I will go again and again

Unacceptable dinner experience.
Food was good. Wine great. But it is 840pm. I am home - I live 20-30 minutes from the restaurant. We were seated at 640pm for our 630pm res. They rushed our table SO HARD. 2 people. We ordered cocktails, 3 apps, 4 skewers, a really good bottle of wine, dessert. Skewers (mains) arrived before all apps were finished - in fact one had just been put down. I tried to refuse the mains saying we were being rushed. BEFORE taking our dessert order, they took our still half-full bottle of water away and did not return with it. After we ordered dessert I asked a different waiter to bring us water again. We poured one glass each and the bottle was taken away AGAIN - our bill was then placed on the table WITH the dessert orders. No ask to see if we wanted a coffee or anything else. Just - get out. This is one hour and five minutes after being seated. The bill was 300 dollars, 350 with tip. NEVER AGAIN. It was so completely mercenary and ridiculous. Places like this need to go away. We do not pay this much money in LA for dinner only to be abused. MAROUCH is just down the street - they treat you like they actually want you to be in their restaurant. And the food is just as beautiful.

The food is extra tasty, wonderful presentation, a good temperature with great ingredients. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The customer service is top notch. Karina is amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great service! Super attentive wait staff, and checked in numerous times, provided advice and guidance on what to order! Great quality food and felt very fresh! It is smaller portions but that's, what I personally loved about it because it's family style and you can try a lot of their dishes, Welcoming atmosphere! Would highly recommend!

The food is a little out of the ordinary with hip and trendy vibes. Pricing and portions are fair. Staff and service are good. I suggest going with a group so you can order a variety of items being that there is so much goodness. Loved the hummus.

The host, the bartender, and our server Nicole all made us feel so welcome. The food was so insane I have no words. The way this team goes above and beyond is awe inspiring and I can't wait to be back here again and again!
Saffys is a gem.
Pure and simple. I was there last night with 3 friends for an early dinner at 5pm. The elegant design and neighborhood feel are already charming, but from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out, the team at Saffy's take incredible care of you. Gianna and Lilly at the host stand were so welcoming and helpful. Our server, Hector, gave us great food and beverage recommendations and was always right on time. Our wine angel, Ginae (sp?) was so lovely and helpful. She found us the perfect wine to go with just about everything on the table. In fact, I noticed every member of the staff helping us out in some way, wether it was the bartender running me my drink, the other servers and back-waiters dancing around the table filling waters or dropping off dishes, even the Managers made a stop at the table to check in and get us some more challah. We were seated right near the kitchen so we could see all of the food coming out and chat a bit with Chef Ori and Chef Rusty, which made the selection process a whole lot easier. Even the kitchen was a part of the service! And don't even get me started on the food. Seriously. You just have to go and try it for yourselves. But if it helps this was our order: Scallop crudo Hummus Ful Lobster skewer x2 Sprouting cauliflower Roasted Celery root Chopped Chicken liver Shawarma plate Red snapper tagine Swirl soft serve Raspberry dessert thing (it was insane, just get it) Everyone at my table was trying to pick a favorite thing but we couldn't even agree on a top 5. It was all spectacular. Each bite was better than the last. My advice is this: if anything in the menu sounds even remotely good or interesting, go for it. It's going to be one of the best things you've ever eaten. Also trust the staff. They know what's up and are happy to help. 5 stars all the way and I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Fluff restaurant.
So many of these restaurants - Bavel, Bestia, Majordomo - just fluff. The food isn't revelatory. The prices are astronomical. I don't mind paying the money for great food but the production is too much. There's a million people working at these places. It feels like a factory. It doesn't feel authentic. It's so big scale and there are so many people who are impressed with the mediocrity of the food, service and space. I don't get it. And bonus, the wine list is awful.

We did not have reservations but made it there just before 5pm host were able to have us seated. Service was little slow but it was worth to wait.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
