Fantastic!!! Fantastic!!! We have never been treated as amazingly as we were treated there. For our anniversary, we wanted to go to somewhere special and saved up to be able to go here. When I made our reservation, I added a note for a nice place to sit because it was our anniversary. They treated us like royalty, and EVERY person that waited on us wished us happy anniversary, because they all knew. That's amazing. Then the food. I mean, goes without saying it was the best food we have ever had. Can't wait to save up and go again!

Went to Ruth Chris in Indianapolis.
We had excellent service and the food was excellent too. The steaks were cooked perfectly. Had to have the cream spinach, mashed potatoes and asparagus. I recommend appetizers. We had the stuffed mushrooms with crabmeat, lobster bisque (plenty of lobster) and Ruth's chopped salad. The presentation of the salad was so cool - I wish I took a pic to post. After a long day at Jamfest, we enjoyed our cocktails and had a very nice dining experience! Definitely recommend Ruth Chris and will go back when we are in Indy!

My wife and I joined friends and celebrated Valentine's Day by spending more on steak than I had heretofore. I must say, the service was excellent. Our waiter was a pro of the highest order. He had a thorough knowledge of the somewhat complicated menu. I have heard it said about the steaks, "You can cut them with a fork." Of course you can't, at least not my fillet. It was good, but was standing at the gate of tough. My wife got the small fillet that came with garlic mashed potatoes and salad. I shared some of her potatoes. I think they should have listed on the menu, "Instant Potatoes," because they tasted exactly like the instant potatoes I get from Aldi. Not a bad thing, but I seriously doubt they were mashed. That indicates starting with a boiled potato and mashing it. That's not a huge point, and I could be wrong. We did share a lobster appetizer with our friends that was simply outstanding! I guess it boils down to this: Is it worth paying the very high prices for steaks that were little better than most any other steak house? For two of us, drinking water, and not ordering extravagantly, including tip, it was $175. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, so it was probably worth it. But, that would have probably bought several dinners at another steak house. My suggestion is don't take my word for it. I think everybody should try it once. The excellent service almost makes it worth it. Now, that I have tried it, I would feel like a sucker to pay that much again.

Bad service ran out of food
My family and I went for Christmas dinner. I have been to this restaurant many times. Christmas was busy but you still should have good customer service. The waiter was fair. We had reservations but had a small wait. It’s sad that we had a disabled person with us who needed to sit down but was not able to get seated because we 1 party that was parking. The food was okay. I had a steak. The steak was nothing to write home about, they ran out of the creamed spinach which is my favorite. The server boxed our food and put the bag of food on the floor. Who does that. A lady working up front was not friendly and spoke with a bit of nasty attitude. I spoke with the general manger he said sorry and that he may be able to use this as a teaching moment. I do not recommend the downtown location Castleton has been nice in the past. Good steaks go to St.Elmos or Sullivans in Zionville. We have no plans of returning.

Ruth Chris downtown location is by far the best location our server was very nice and energetic and he knew when to check on us and when not too... My good friend and I take each other here on our birthday's for two years now Ruth Chris has a dress code so dress according but the food is always perfection but then again I always get the same thing lol
Not up to the name
The place is a bit sad with dull colors and small rooms. The Ruth's Chris style, however, is in the dishes, which are sold at high costs. We had a porterhouse for two and two wedge salads with a bottle of wine (just the one $150) in the end an experience below the expectations of this chain that I love. Two of us with an 18% tip spent $490
Fantastic Service
Was in town for work and took out some colleagues for dinner. I've been to RC before in other states and am never dissapointed. The service is always, top notch. No different this time. The trio that supported our group was fantastic. Oh, and the apps, main course and cocktails, were great, too. 😉
Not a Ruth's Chris that I will visit again
I generally think that Ruth's Chris is at the top of the various "upscale chain" steakhouses and my experiences at Ruth's Chris have generally been very positive. This experience, not so much. Visited for a special occasion and had a very reasonable request for the front of house staff that was basically dismissed out of hand with no consideration, no consultation with the relevant management, and an attitude that left me with the distinct impression that this location could care less about accommodating customers. I will give the staff credit. I arrived a bit before the rest of my party and had drinks at the bar. The bartenders were super friendly and my couple of drinks were well made and relatively reasonably priced. Our waiter at the table was amazing and took care of absolutely everything we needed. And, consistent with the chain, the food was decent and the food was more or less on par with any of their other restaurants. But our experience was basically ruined by the hostess staff and that I really can't ignore.
Home feeling
The food was amazing and the staff was super friendly. Kaylee was my server and she was all smilies and very knowledgeable on the menu, will definitely come back to eat and have sweet sweet Kaylee as my server again!

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
