An over-rated restaurant outside of Venice, Florida.
We'd all flown into Sarasota and Ft. Myers airports staying in Nokomis for several days of birthday celebrations. This night we were a party of 10. While this is a big place, it's composed of several smaller dining areas. The atmosphere is classic steakhouse - dark wood with booths and free-standing tables. We were seated right away. The menu is overly large: specials; steaks; ribs; chicken; pork; lamb; seafood; Italian; and a few Chinese-style dishes. We ordered drinks, no appetizers and eight different main courses. Drinks were limited to wine, selected from a decent list. You can't go wrong there. However, not all the orders were taken correctly and only one of the dishes was worthwhile. Hence, my comment about the overly large menu: steakhouses serve steaks and a few other dishes on the side; seafood places serve fish, with a few other dishes; Italian places may have fish as part of a dish and may have a steak. Chinese-style??? The low quality of the food makes this menu overpriced. That said, service was quick and polite. There is limited parking near the front entry; most parking is in a large lot at the rear. Entry and exit from the northbound roadway; there's a grass median separating the southbound lanes. Our family members concluded we'd not return next year.

We sat in back of restaurant, waitress went to a table next to ours,who had arrived after 15 min after we were seated, and brought water , bread and took their order but Totally ignored us. I got a bus boy's attention and he provided some service eventually waitress took our order and food was served after considerable delay. Not a way to get returning customers. We likely won't.

I had the firecracker shrimp app. It's a good sized portion. The steak, shrimp, and crab cake entree was delicious. Service was good and friendly. Atmosphere was nice.
Old school place that does some things well.
Our waitress Karen was very good . We had a small party of six for a birthday get together and everyone left content and happy . Had a good bourbon old fashion to start and a couple of bottled beers later - no draft beer here - say what ?! Had a pretty good Caesar asked for extra dressing and got a good dressing - anchovies are available for a little two Buck up-charge . The citrus glazed salmon is pretty good - surprised also no mashed potatoes on offer . One of the party had previously had their potato croquettes which aren't for some reason on the menu of sides - some of us got them and were glad we did . Everybody enjoyed their meals and service is attentive - no empty iced water glasses and plates cleared promptly. The dessert cart is like a dozen offerings. Kind of comical . Kudos to them for presenting birthday gal an on the house Large slice o carrot cake . Their cake slices are enough for four . We tried the orange cake slice and while it's okay we each my wife and I had a bite or two and were done . It's a Twelve Buck slice btw . They've been here a long time and it's the kind of place that has lots of regulars returning often .

Took guests there and will do it again.the desserts are top notch and so are the cocktails.
High on our list of a very well run establishment.
It includes everyone from the hostess to the waitress, chefs, bussers and bartender. Food consistently made to order with excellent quality products. Our table ordered a 6 oz mignon, perfectly cooked and tenderness as it should be. Next a top sirloin, excellent flavor with a nice char. Lastly lamb chops, sweet , tender and plentiful. Cooked perfectly as we know it. Flavorful veggies were a nice accompaniment, snow peas & creamed spinach. Make sure you 'make a reservation '. Very popular , def worth the visit. ! Enjoy
Food is good if you like a traditional steak house.
Service is spotty, our server tonight (male) was awful - maybe he should apply at Dollar Tree! Other servers in our area were very attentive. Example: We had a 6:30 reservation and were seated promptly. Our server showed up a few minutes later and took our drink order. Thirty minutes later, we flagged down another server and asked her if she could find our server. He appeared a few minutes later and we asked about our drinks and he replied "oh,it's gotten busy". Seriously? There were vacant tables in the place. Our food came and he never seemed interested in seeing if everything was OK. All said, we are residents and took an out of town guest for dinner. Will we be back? Probably never. Will we recommend others go there? Probably not. Too bad there was no manager cruising around checking with dinner guests. Some serious face to face by managers might be part of a solution. Not a good sign as the "season" is soon to be upon us...
Food was fine; I ordered the "Land.
sea, & Gulf" and, when served, the crab cakes and sirloin were slightly cool. Calamari were ok but the desert (first the display of available deserts and the key lime pie specifically) were excellent. The ambience and service were pleasant and I would definitely visit again.

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

I accepted a bid for a popular restaurant in Los Angeles only to receive a phone call shortly thereafter informing me that the reservation had been canceled due to it being listed on AT. I of course need to subsequently cancel the reservation on AT but get this warning that my status will be negatively affected for doing so. I've reached out to customer support about this several times with no response, not sure what to do in this station. Hoping someone can advise.

I have a prepaid reservation, but I'm allowed to transfer that reservation to others for a price that I set (up to the total price I paid).
For selling POSTPAID reservations, do I charge the buyer the full amount of the reservation when transferring? And then the buyer pays something on top of that (which is what is listed in the AppointmentTrader listing?)
Major Issue for Seller
My money is being held hostage! Can you please remove my refund medal as I am below the 11% threshold and should be able to withdraw my full daily amount now? I have been teying for a long time to get a reply on this. Major issue for people looking to do good/right like you ask and make positive sales. Being able to access earned revenue is critical and not getting any reply is very concerning for your sellers. Lot of other people having the same issue. Once below the threshold you should auto remove the warning medals.

Just wanted to put this out there as I find it quite weird. AT will hold money if your sell through rate is to low. I find this strange as you would think that sell through rate should reflect more on AT not marketing their site well enough to generate sales. It seems weird to punish sellers for listings not selling.

Banned from Resy for selling reservations- Do we have a rat on our hands???
I am new to this app and started off by selling a polo bar reservation and then quickly sold one more reservation. Not long after I received emails from Resy saying all my reservations are cancelled and I am being banned from Resy for life. How could this have possibly happened without a rat telling Resy that I sold the reservation. I need some advice on this situation and let’s catch the rat!
