RH Rooftop Restaurant Minneapolis Edina Reviews
After wandering through magazine quality showrooms, why not
After wandering through magazine quality showrooms, why not stop for a glamorous meal. However the food at RH anything but. The crispy artichokes were nice and the kale Caesar salad was interesting, but didn't really give Caesar salad vibes. It was just a bunch of kale with copious Parmesan on top. I did not like the lobster roll. A better way to describe it would be a handful of under salted and butter-less lobster sitting on top of a loaf of bread. Not an actually sandwich/roll. I understand that à La Carte is often the way to go at expensive restaurants, but I was disappointed at having to make my own meal. For $56 for a piece of salmon, some broccolini, and potato puree, I want a chef to actually curate something for me, not make me put together disparate items and hope they work well. Create a dish with a protein, a vegetable, and a starch, and if it sounds good I'll bite, literally. The real highlight though was that butterscotch crème brûlée, so we ordered two! Plus, our server brought a few cookies for our birthday. While we had great service and the rooftop ambiance was spot on, I don't think RH lives up to their prices.
Excellent service, professional and classy servers.
The atmosphere was amazing and very intimate. Prices typically range from 24-65. Definitely recommend for dates, or business meetings
One of our favorite spots to celebrate special occasions
One of our favorite spots to celebrate special occasions and anniversaries! We've been a handful of times and love the ambiance during both the daytime and at night. There's definitely two different vibes depending on the time of day you go. Daytime is usually more casual and nighttime is a lot more fancy. The service has always been very friendly and we usually ask them to take our picture since we're oftentimes celebrating something. They've even given us pointers on the best background for the pictures hahah. The food is always great. We usually get the salmon and a steak and they both always taste amazing. We got the truffle fries once after debating between those and the plain fries. Save your money and get the plain fries. We will definitely be back!

So let's start with the obvious - it's a gorgeous rooftop restaurant that overlooks the (not so gorgeous) surrounding view of the flat southern Hennepin country metro. Staff are professional, but not polished, and for the price point, you would expect the latter to be standard. Food is just okay, and there is no full bar - only beer and wine. I imagine the LT at RH corporate didn't feel like ponying up for the liquor license which is understandable, but for the vibe they are going for, just doesn't work. No standout appetizers or entrees from a grossly overpriced menu that clearly capitalizes on ambiance and aesthetic over taste and quality. Chocolate chip cookies were divine, though.
What a beautiful place to have supper! My daughter and I
What a beautiful place to have supper! My daughter and I had an early supper before we went to a musical and RH Rooftop was perfect! We loved the glass ceiling and fountain making it feel like you are outside. The lobster roll was fantastic and I loved the peach Bellini. It did take a while to get our bill but overall, the service was good. I would love to go back to try other menu items.
RH Rooftop is absolutely stunning -- easily one of the most
RH Rooftop is absolutely stunning -- easily one of the most beautiful and fancy spots in Minneapolis! I went with my girlfriends on a Sunday morning, and we made sure to get there early to beat the crowds and grab some pretty photos (pro tip: go early if you want those perfect Instagram-worthy shots). You must take the stairs up to the rooftop restaurant -- and trust me, you'll want to. Along the way, you'll see gorgeous chandeliers and gold mirrors that set the tone for how breathtaking the entire space is. It's not just a restaurant either -- RH is a high-end furniture store, so everywhere you look feels luxurious and styled to perfection. Make sure to dress to impress! The atmosphere is upscale and elegant, and you'll want to feel just as polished as the surroundings. We went for brunch, and I ordered the Classic Breakfast. It wasn't the most mind-blowing meal I've ever had, but it was definitely good, and the service was outstanding. Our waitress went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. I also ordered a chai tea cold, but I wasn't in love with it -- it tasted a bit watered down (maybe because it was iced). Not a dealbreaker though, because honestly, I would come back just for the beautiful atmosphere alone. If you're looking for a place that feels luxurious, relaxing, and totally gorgeous, RH Rooftop is worth a visit -- especially for a girls' day or a special brunch out!
I hadn't been here ever then ended up having two visits
I hadn't been here ever then ended up having two visits within a week of each other. The first was a work meeting for lunch where I had the Cobb salad and shared the fries. So good. I love the freshness of the salad ingredients and the salty, crispness of the skinny fries. The second visit was for a birthday celebration. We shared the grilled shrimp for an appetizer. Cooked perfectly and tasty. For dinner I chose the Branzino which came as a whole fish, head, tail and all. It was delicious. The meat was the perfect temp and the taste was outstanding. No bones were found. Others at my table had the filet and ribeye steaks and they all loved the taste and preparedness of their choices. Since the fries were so good on my first visit, we split fries again and they were crispy, salty and perfect. Since it was my husband's birthday, he got a gooey chocolate chip cookie and a candle. We also split the banana split and the butterscotch crème brûlée. The banana split was phenomenal. Bananas were split and had a nice crust on one side. Three big scoops of ice cream accompanied and caramel was poured over the entire dessert. It was so good. The crème brûlée was also prepared perfectly and the crispness of the crust complimented the eggy custard. Service was excellent both times. The atmosphere is beautiful with glass ceiling and walls, lots of greenery, and many twinkling lights to create an intimate vibe. We were so happy to have RH Rooftop be the place where we celebrated a birthday.

Service 5* Food 4* Value 0* Been wanting to try this for a very long time and with friends leaving to head home in France that afternoon I wanted to treat them to a good meal before facing the food Delta now offers to regular customers on international flights. So service was almost perfect, food was very good but $250 for three people at lunch?? Two ceaser salads with grilled salmon, one french dip, and four mimosas + tip = $250?? WTF PEOPLE I know it's Edina but really??
Leasha was exceptionally attentive and helpful with
Leasha was exceptionally attentive and helpful with recommendations. A glass of Chardonnay was delivered to the wrong person, and was promptly replaced. Expensive menu but worth it for a special event. The beauty of this rooftop restaurant is a real treat. Food is delicious and we all agreed. My lobster roll was a real treat!
I recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early.
It is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the restaurant and up multiple flights of stairs. On the bright side, the parking lot has ample parking. I do have to say this place is gorgeous from top to bottom. Our server Madelyn was friendly and attentive. The food was better than I expected. It was good, but nothing too special. I probably wouldn't go back, but it was an enjoyable dinner. I recommend going at least once if you're looking to get dressed up and take pictures.
Don’t come hungry
Was ok, great looking views, nice atmosphere, very small menu and very small portions. Not something you want show up and expect to get full.
Good food and Great service.
Celebrated my birthday and dined with our 6 year old daughter. The service was spectacular very professional. The food is amazing, A bit pricey but it was delicious. Just wished they have more options for dessert other than cookies. But overall we enjoyed out visit.
Memorable Experience
5/3/24 - Fulfilling our daughter’s wish for a birthday lunch there was a memorable experience. We have a large RH in Tampa, FL but while it provides a great view of the airport plane arrivals and departures, there is no restaurant. It was hard to imagine that this would be worthy of her bucket list. Walking off the elevator we were awed by the gorgeous botanical garden (green house) atmosphere that we stood in. It was all the more beautiful on a cool but sunny day and brilliant blue sky we saw through the glass paneled roof. We had a reservation and were quickly taken to a corner table with views of the lovely terrace, lovely chandelier and beautiful room in which we sat. Our server, Leasha, quickly greeted us, then gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. It’s not enormous but had plenty of enticing dishes. We had several questions for Leasha when she returned. She identified customer favorites and a great wine to accompany various items. Her suggestion of the Gruner Schloss was terrific with our entrees and sides. We ordered the Wild Mushrooms, Truffle fries, a Truffled Grilled Cheese, a Lobster roll, and an Avocado Toast. Every item was delicious to the last bite and last drop. Leasha then surprised us in bringing a Dessert Birthday Cookie that the 3 of us shared. Great service. Great food. Beautiful surroundings. While not an inexpensive meal, it was a great value for this special occasion.
I did really enjoy this spot and i think everyone should
I did really enjoy this spot and i think everyone should stop here once. It was a beautiful spot for a date night and the food and atmosphere was great. I do think it was a little overpriced but given the location and the view, i understand. I had the shaved ribeye sandwich and seriously have no complaints on that. Seriously none it was great. Our server was seriously so sweet and had perfect recommendations for us. I do wish that given on reservations it stated to dress business casual, that all guests had followed. My date and i had wore nicer clothing for the dinner to see a large group of teenage girls in crop tops and skinny jeans... Not my personal favorite for the atmosphere but to each their own. Anyway, super cool spot.
This place was great! I was a little apprehensive about
This place was great! I was a little apprehensive about going here with my Girls Group because some of the negative reviews that I read here, but once I got there, I was pleasantly surprised. it's breathtaking and beautiful. There was nine of us in our girls group. And Our waiter was very attentive and nice. The food was delicious, it is a bit spendy but I did end up really liking it and would definitely go back. I do think the wine is way overpriced so I had a couple beers instead that's why I took away one star because of the price of the wine.

We took a Dad/Daughter date here for lunch with my pre-teen over Spring Break. What a perfect spot - she loved the chandeliers, the plants, and the booths. It felt like a really special day out and it was easily partnered with some shopping. The waitstaff was great at helping us find something on the menu that she would like and did a great job of giving us space while still being attentive. Her burger and lemonade was fantastic and my salad and Americano were perfect. We can't wait to go back!
Beautiful setting with crystal chandeliers, a central
Beautiful setting with crystal chandeliers, a central fountain, and lots of pretty greenery. Made for a romantic date night dinner. I loved the salmon on the shaved vegetable salad. It was perfectly cooked, delicate and flaky, and the sweet glaze crusted onto it was delicious. I'd come back just for more of this salmon - and will make a point to do so! My husband enjoyed the shaved ribeye on charred garlic bread with au jus and wine. Service was friendly and attentive. Afterward, we enjoyed browsing through RH for home decor inspiration. Will definitely come back.
I won't say much about the food and the service - although
I won't say much about the food and the service - although both excellent - instead I want to mention that this place has magic lighting. The roof and the walls are all glass creating a uniform "glow" that you can usually only achieve with studio lights and reflectors. Every time I take a photo in this restaurant, I look 15 years younger. If you want to look good on a date, or take incredible OLD photos, this place is "it"!
You know you're going to eat good as soon as you walk in!
You know you're going to eat good as soon as you walk in! Our server was super friendly! The food came out super fast. We got shrimp cocktail for an appetizer and it was so delicious & just enough to keep us hungry for more! I got the burger and it was probably the best burger I've ever eaten my entire life. It was pricy as expected but a great place to go to for special events! We took a walk outside on the rooftop after eating and it was so beautiful! We plan on coming back when it's warmer so we can relax outside after eating!
Ambiance fit for kings and queens (5/5)! Lovely
Ambiance fit for kings and queens (5/5)! Lovely chandeliers and abundant sunshine adorn this beautiful rooftop restaurant. It's quite perfect for outings with the girls or a nice date with your hot stuff hubby. One of the most Instagrammable restaurants I've seen. But you're also paying for this extraordinary beauty as the prices are higher than the food quality alone would dictate. Here's what I've tried at this restaurant: AVOCADO TOAST (5/5) $20. The charred sourdough is perfect and the ripe large chunks of avocado is generously seasoned with salt. My fav avocado toast in the Twin Cities. Sadly, only available for brunch/lunch, not for dinner. RH SCRAMBLE (2/5) $22. Typically served slightly underdone and I really don't understand why anyone should pay this price for scrambled eggs. DÉLICE DE BOURGOGNE CHEESE (3/5) $21 the cheese is similar to a soft Brie and the Strawberry Preserves with Baguette slices were delicious with the side of red grapes. SHAVED VEGETABLES Salad (3/5) $19 freshly served with a light vinaigrette. CAESAR Salad (3/5) $20, we added grilled chicken for an extra $9. Good, but nothing special. RH BURGER (3/5) $22. Our waitress mentioned they were known for this burger. It was good, but I've had so much better elsewhere. Service has always been great when I dine here. TRUFFLE FRIES (3/5) $20. Not bad, but I actually preferred the regular fries for $10. CAFE LATTE (5/5) $7. Their baristas are excellent! I've always been able to get great espresso drinks here. Parking is free and abundant since the restaurant is right next to a large mall and you can easily park in the mall parking lot. The restaurant is also easily accessible. There is an elevator available to make your trek to the rooftop much easier if you want to wear fancy but uncomfortable shoes. I prefer their brunch/lunch menu compared to their dinners so consider the timing of your visit.
I went for the first time tonight.
It's absolutely beautiful, so I get why it's so popular. However, for the fancy ambiance, the food falls short. I am willing to pay for a good meal, but even these prices were high for what you got. $22 for a meager burger on a plate (fries or other sides cost at least $10 more). Service was fair. Glasses of wine were also pricey.
Good food, although limited (small) menu.
Good ambiance, perfect for a special occasion date. Drinks are limited to wines and spritzers. Drinks are a little on the steep price and no cocktails available. Service is good and attentive staff.

make sure you never take a picture here!! the one with the grey hair and the airpod will in fact kick you out! just spent $320 here and was told i was "not a costumer". as a group we were told that we were "sitting on furniture" and "being a disruption". we were not near anyone, being loud or bothersome, or sitting on anything. we were taking pictures for what couldn't have been more than five minute. after being told to get out, this grown woman decided to talk down on us (a group of teenage girls) to a customer. i wouldn't be as bothered as i am if this establishment didnt have a reputation of being a place to come and take pictures. ive been here before with a larger group of people and have walked around and taken pictures for more than an hour and no one working there seemed to have an issue. the servers were lovely. everyone ive come in contact with there was incredibly polite. i have no idea what this womans problem is, but i truly hope she can get through it. must be a something pretty rough to feel the need to take it out on a group of young girls.
Ambience vs. value !
this place is VERY nice , service was great, food was good but VERY expensive for what you got . started out with drinks , wine by the glass or bottle , beer very limited choices . we tried the burrata with roasted peppers ,very good , we had lobster rolls , just ok , i had beef sandwich , very good . 2 orders of french fries for over 20 dollars ! enough said about that . Summary , very nice place with average to good very expensive food and drink.
I had an amazing time at RH.
For 1, it's beautiful inside. The crystal and sparkling chandeliers, the fountain in the middle of the room, the greenery...it was so amazing! I felt expensive and classy. The staff were very kind and attentive, made sure we had everything we needed, checked in frequently and made good recommendations. We tried the lobster roll, truffle fries, wild mushrooms, and the steak sandwich and I stuffed myself to a level of discomfort because I couldn't stop eating, it was delicious and flavorful and hit all the spots! The menu is smaller but has a good balance and variety. Very extensive wine and cocktail menu with a few beers, which I'd recommend the mango beer if you're looking for something very light and fruity (I don't like beer at all but would totally have one of these)
Fancy place to go out with girls especially.
Love the food and coffee too. Have tried avocado toast, lobster roll and RH burger. My favorite is burger so far.
Go During Summer Sunset
You come here for the ambiance and elegance, not the food, (sorry). Great ambience, attentive service, beautiful decor and sunset views (if you're lucky to be there during sunset). Food: A bit underwhelming! Hopefully they start putting as much effort in the decor as they do into the quality of food. The place is very beautiful though. We ordered Burrata, Caesar salad RH burger, Broiled Salmon, truffled fries. Everything was alright, not the best, especially not for the price point. Dietary restrictions: The server specifically asks about allergies. Mention it if you have any restrictions. Parking: There is plenty of free parking available right out front. This is not a kid-friendly place. I do recommend for the ambiance, posh vibe, which is why I rated it 4/5, because it delivers on that and service.
Exciting discovery
Hidden gem, with some surprisingly good food (perfect cuisson of the rib eye!), some great wines (loved the burgundy of Francois Labet), good service and entertaining server. Sure to visit again at a next visit.
Food quality is underwhelming!
They can put more effort into the quality of food to match the beautiful ambience. The food was underwhelming! The quality of prosciutto at CUB is likely better than what we got served for a high end restaurant. The place is very beautiful though.
Delicious
Amazing meal for my daughter's birthday with her friends. We ordered appetizers and I had the roasted chicken. The garlic potatoes that came with it were delicious. I am now craving it!
This was a neat experience overall.
The view is beautiful, and I would absolutely recommend the rooftop for cocktails at night.
The ambience is amazing! The food was great( everything
The ambience is amazing! The food was great( everything tasted amazing! , Service was simply phenomenal, extremely attentive and exceptionally polite . Will be back:)
It's beautiful, it really is.
The service is flawless. The food is excellent. But it is stupid expensive. Having said that, it's completely understandable given the cost of food and labor these days. The presentation of the food is so perfect, every plate could be used for marketing. That costs money, and you're going to spend it here. The view is more impressive than I would have thought, upon walking into the restaurant. It's both an elegant and comfortable setting. One of the first things I noticed after sitting down was how clean the chandeliers are. I don't know if they polish those things daily, but it looks like it-not a speck of dust or fingerprints on any of the crystals. I really thought this was going to be more of a "chick" place, but there were just as many couples and families there when I visited as all girl groups. While I normally like to order different menu items when dining with someone else so that we can each sample, the siren song of the lobster roll here was impossible to resist. This wasn't hunks of meat unrecognizable as lobster, these were prime pieces of claw and carefully selected and arranged to perfection on a brioche roll with a hint of aioli. The lobster was the star of the sandwich, as it should be, and it was dreamy. We did split the burrata with roasted vegetables as a starter, and our server graciously brought us more grilled bread after noticing there was leftover cheese and veggies. Delicious. We also split the truffle fries and roasted broccolini. I could eat that broccolini every single day and never tire of it, proving that sometimes the simplest preparation is the best. Olive oil, lemon zest and Calabrian chili...perfection. Truffle fries are a fad I've moved past since they first showed up on the food scene, but every once in a while they're a guilty indulgence that are worth every bite. That garlic aioli though...I could eat that with a spoon. We each had two Peach Bellinis. The price of those wee cocktails would have cut our bill by about 25%, which I did resent a bit...except they were so tasty and fresh, I didn't even care. My friend and I sat for over two hours chatting since it was a Sunday afternoon and the crowds were no longer a factor. Our waitress kept an eye on our water and was doting without being intrusive. For a special event, this is the perfect setting and I left feeling rather virtuous since the portion sizes were reasonable and the vegetable dishes were just as delicious as the seafood sandwich. Definitely a destination eatery, and I'll return again, even if not with regularity.
My wife and I visited RH for lunch.
Everything was fantastic. Our server Jennifer went above and beyond to make our experience delightful. Highly recommend, and will ask for Jennifer again!
The classiest place with the greatest vibes.
To top it off the service was a 5 out of 5.
Food extraordinary, service top notch, ambience brilliant.
Twice for brunch, not one complaint

This is our new favorite go to place! My boyfriend and I like sitting next to each other and the seating allows for this here. Very intimate and quiet and the ambiance is amazing! The views are great and I am sure the rooftop is amazing in the summertime. Great place to order a bottle of wine and charcuterie. Parking is good and the service is. Can say enough good things!
Service was great and the vibe was awesome, the night I
Service was great and the vibe was awesome, the night I went it was pouring rain and I personally loved it. The food is alright, I wouldn't come back for the food but it's a great place to catch-up with friends
RH is a breathtaking experience.
I have been there for three different occasions. I personally feel like going there once is enough. You go there for the vibes. Either day or night is nice. Food is mediocre hence why I gave it 3 stars.
Not only is the restaurant breathtaking but so is the
Not only is the restaurant breathtaking but so is the quality of the food here! Great brunch spot in Edina!
