Ravioxo: Style Over Substance
After being absolutely blown away by Diverxo, I was genuinely buzzing to check out its sister restaurant, Ravioxo. The anticipation was real - another culinary adventure from the same team that earned such well-deserved acclaim? Sign me up! Honestly? It was a massive letdown. I’m still scratching my head about that Michelin star. The food just felt…off. Unbalanced, and frankly, a bit sloppy. The entire experience seemed like they were attempting to replicate successful dishes from elsewhere but couldn’t quite nail the execution, then tried to compensate with elaborate presentation tricks. For example using a pizza box to serve pizza. Take the crab dish, for example. It was playing the imitation game, clearly inspired by various Asian crab preparations I’ve had before, but missing all the bright, vibrant flavors you’d expect. All show, no go, you know? The delicate sweetness of fresh crab was completely lost beneath competing elements that didn’t harmonize. It just didn’t taste too saucy, despite the visual drama on the plate. The rest of the menu followed a similar pattern. Several dishes were forgettable compositions swimming in sauce – reminiscent of those places that drown their sushi to hide mediocre fish quality. Each course arrived with theatrical flair, but the actual flavors rarely matched the presentation. It felt like they were banking on looking cool rather than actually delivering on taste. Now if you haven’t had much exposure to authentic Asian cuisine, perhaps you’d be wowed by the bells and whistles, but if you know your stuff, you’ll recognize these as merely passable interpretations lacking depth and nuance. The service issues compounded my disappointment. The staff came across as somewhat insincere, reciting rehearsed descriptions without real engagement. When I offered honest feedback about the crab dish, one server actually replied, “But you finished it!” as if consumption equated to enjoyment. Really? Sometimes hunger wins over principle, especially when you’re paying premium prices. The atmosphere didn’t help matters either. The music was cranked to nightclub levels, making it difficult to hear the servers’ explanations of each dish, let alone have a meaningful conversation with my dining companion. The whole vibe seemed calculated to create an “edgy” experience rather than facilitate enjoyment of the food. What’s particularly frustrating is the obvious potential. You can see glimpses of creativity and technical skill, but they’re consistently undermined by poor execution and misguided priorities. For the steep price point (expect to drop well over €150 per person with drinks), Ravioxo delivers remarkably little substance. It’s a restaurant that seems designed for Instagram rather than actual dining pleasure. If you’re still curious despite my warnings, I’d suggest ordering a few à la carte items first rather than committing to the full tasting menu, and then deciding from there whether you went to commit to a full meal. That way, you can minimize your investment in what ultimately feels like an emperor’s new clothes situation in the culinary world. Or better yet, save your money for one of Madrid’s genuinely exceptional restaurants that prioritize flavor over theatrics and authentic hospitality over trendy posturing.
Nice Asiatic spanish fusion restaurant, need to improve the location
Restaurant located in the Gourmet club of the bronze building of el corte ingles castellana, with bathrooms shared with the building and restaurants, not ideal at al. You can find a menu to taste or choose your plates, the most famous are resaca, korean bao, dumplings and chuleta vasca. The restaurant is nice for couples, special area, and the waiters are very kind. It has one michelin star and suggest ordering with time. Its a good starting point if you want to know the food of David MUñoz, Diverxo chef, top michelin restaurant ubicated in other location.

AppointmentTrader is a community-driven platform where users can exchange their reservations or leverage their personal relationships with RavioXO Madrid. Buyers can make informed decisions using automated seller ratings, which reflect past transactions and reliability.
Each posting on AppointmentTrader shows you which user submitted it and along with that provides a trackrecord of that user which indicates how much experience
the user has and how many percent of their transactions resulted in them issuing a refund.
If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.
Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to RavioXO Madrid at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the RavioXO Madrid page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* EternalAnt36, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* EternalAnt36 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to EternalAnt36 for any questions Peter may have as EternalAnt36 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* EternalAnt36 now uses their connections at RavioXO Madrid to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If EternalAnt36 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, EternalAnt36 receives the $200 reward which is credited to EternalAnt36's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at RavioXO Madrid!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
