75/5been wanting to try out this place since there's not many thai places near ktown! not sure if i'll be back, but was still glad we tried this place out!- notes -both cash and card are accepted!also has a bathroom on both the first and second floor- atmosphere -loved the vibes of this place! the dim lighting and neon lights really made the atmosphere friendly for groups of friends grabbing a casual dinner. the restaurant has two floors; i'm not sure what the second floor looks like but the first floor had a fair amount of tables. - overall experience -my friends and i saw that this place was fully booked for reservations online so we decided to come right as they opened for dinner in hopes of getting a table. we came on a friday evening at around 5:30 pm and the restaurant was pretty empty. we got seated right away and got our orders taken relatively quickly. - recommendations -highly recommend their thai fries and pad thai with chicken! 11/25/22-thai fries: got this as a side order for the table and it was definitely a fan favorite! the fries were on the short, thin, and crispy side, with a savory seasoning on top. they were served with their house-made lime leaf sour cream dip, which had a great balance of acidity and savoriness. it's a great side to share with the table for only ~$7. (4/5) -pad thai with chicken: this dish usually comes with shrimp, egg, tofu, scallion, red onion, radish pickle, peanuts, chili flakes, thai basil, cilantro, a lime wedge, and bean sprouts on top. however, you can substitute the shrimp for tofu, beef, or chicken at the same price. i decided to substitute in chicken, since the portion of shrimp that they give looks pretty small. it was a pretty solid plate of pad thai; the noodles were tasty and all the flavors complimented each other really well. the chicken was a bit overcooked though, which wasn't that bit of a deal. i didn't know that there were chili flakes on top because it wasn't mentioned on the menu. i kind of wish that they pointed it out because i wasn't expecting my pad thai to be spicy. i definitely feel like i would've enjoyed it more if it wasn't spicy, and the portion was kind of small for $17 too. (3.5/5)
