Rainforest Cafe Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
Rare Experience
So that was really a special experience. Leave the heat of the Las Vegas Strip and feel like you're in the air-conditioned jungle. And the food was also very special - rarely eaten so well. Again any time!
Very friendly and good food
Very nice location, staff very friendly, also the interior is special. We have had (twice) a very good meal and drinks (swimming hole).
Family vacation
The little members of the family loved the atmosphere. Food was good and prices also. Waiter was great and took very good care of our crazy group
Good for a cheaper meal in Vegas
Decent food and decent prices, but the girl checking people in was absolutely miserable, ignored people waiting to check in. Our waitress was not great- not at all attentive.
Terrible! Do not bother!
We came expecting a good experience given the reviews and were greatly disappointed. The service was terrible. We had to wait 40mins for our meals after ordering, our children’s orders were completely wrong and then we had to wait an additional 25mins for a simple plain piece of salmon and rice. It wasn’t until we made the errors known that our waiter was then attentive to over compensate. It was agony and very disappointing. We pushed over another waiter for some help and she said she did not speak English. No available staff when you needed them. The meals were average but the service was terrible. Do not recommend!
My first time here and it was great
Sat in the bar for food and drink today and ADAM was amazing. What great service. And I love my jambalaya. This was my first time at this location and I will be back. THANK YOU ADAM ..
Food sub par
Got ribs. Fries all piled up under it. Dry and tough. The more you chewed it the bigger it got. Sent it back for club sandwich. The bread was like week old dry. This place seems to be for family's with kids. Which is fine for kids.
Fun Place to Eat
My teens found this Rainforest online and we haven’t been to one in about 8 years and they wanted to go to one again. They loved it. It’s Vegas so it’s packed so make a reservation. The jungle show goes off about every 20 minute. Because of city code they can’t do the sparklers for the Volcano dessert we got the Tsunami cake they say it for 4 people but could easily be enough for 6. Everything is large portions so you could even split a plate and still have enough to eat, they also have someone taking pictures and doing balloon animals for a fee. There is an elevator from the gift shop to the restaurant kinda hidden but if you were to ask they would let you know where it was, easy to see at the restaurant to go down to the lobby.
Ambiance is great.
Very cool place for kids. Our waiter, Brian, was fantastic. But the food is terrible.
Decided to come here on a Sunday afternoon and this place
Decided to come here on a Sunday afternoon and this place was super busy. We were greeted by a friendly hostess who told us to head up the staircase to the main restaurant. Once we arrived upstairs, we were seated immediately at a table. Our server, Ronnee, was super amazing and so friendly. She had such a fun personality and made the experience a great one. We tried a couple different options for the drinks but ultimately decided that the Mango Bloom was the best one. Such a great drink and flavor. The drink deal is amazing by the way, $16 for a drink and a refill is only $7. Then you can take a cup home. The appetizer was great and had so many flavors. The dip was amazing and the coconut curry sauce was delicious. You obviously come here for the vibe and restaurant being jungles themed. Such cool experience and would highly recommend. Can't wait to come back and hopefully we have Ronnee. She was such a great vibe and made our whole experience there such a great one.
A Must for Family Dining in Las Vegas!
My 10 year old absolutely loved it here! It really is geared toward families with kid-friendly menus, fun lightup cups and activities. Not sure if I’d do it with a group of adults. There’s a “rainstorm” during your experience with thunder and strobes, all the animals start swinging and yelping. We loved it, but younger kids and babies around the restaurant were a little scared and started crying all over the place every time… I’d call it somewhere between moderate and expensive. About $80 USD including tip for one adult and one kid’s meal. I had one specialty cocktail (strawberry mojito) which came with a souvenir glass. If you think of it as an activity plus dinner, it’s pretty moderately priced by Las Vegas standards. We definitely spent more, and we definitely spent less. Just like with everything in Vegas, you’re one of the masses running through. Service was good, no complaints, just not overly friendly or personalized. Payment is via QR code on your check, server may not even revisit your table after they drop it. A house photographer comes by to take your pic and try to sell you $50 photos, and when I laughed out loud he actually sold me on a cheaper $10 pic (because I’m a sucker lol!). There’s a gift shop on your way in/out of course, another money trap. But we did the $1 pressed penny in the lobby as our souvenir which worked out just great!
Brought our twins here for their birthday and had an ok-ish
Brought our twins here for their birthday and had an ok-ish experience. Right when we got upstairs the hostess in the front was extremely rude, you'd think the first point of contact with a customer should be, at the very least, welcoming especially in a restaurant themed for children. Nope. She literally had no expression and rudely told us to wait and disappeared for a few minutes and came back with a horrible attitude. We were about to go elsewhere but I'm glad we stuck it out because the rest of the staff were very sweet, explained the menu to us and even sang happy birthday to our kids. The food was decent and dessert was even better. Big thanks to our waitress for taking care of us. Our kids loved all of the animals and the talking tree downstairs.
Really fun environment for kids.
Kids menu had a good variety. The service was great.
A visual treat , especially for children
We have visited this chain in Florida and even though our children are late teens , it is still fun. Amazing interior… just like a jungle! We sat out on the balcony to people watch in Vegas and get some beautiful spring sun. We had great service and loved our food… the share platter entree and chicken quesadillas. Way too much for 2 people but we always over order in USA! Everything was delicious but this is not health food by any means . There are salads on the menu for the health conscious but we weren’t looking for health LOL. Deep fried goodies that tasted amazing !
The staff was so kind and accommodating.
Their bartender called out sick so they weren't going to do happy hour but still honored their website even with short staff. Also shoutout Alberto and Damon! They were a huge help and made our massive party of 19 feel so welcomed!
RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE, NOT MY STOMACH: THE BEST MEAL IVE
RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE, NOT MY STOMACH: THE BEST MEAL IVE EVER HAD. We were met with an intriguing and inviting tropical atmosphere, followed by a relaxing thunderstorm. We chatted with server ALBERTO, who served our drinks with ease and the skill of a seasoned employee. No spillage here. Next souz-chef Tony provided personal recommendations for the rainforest's hottest meal (insider tip: the pastalaya is his go-to). He ended up offering a complementary pastalaya to our order so we could experience the full extent of his cooking expertise. The dish was a delicious blend of pasta and shrimp, and made with love. Tony's favorite jungle creature is the gorilla . Finally: the man, the myth, the legend: DAMONNN. This man is a triple threat: banquet coordinator, server, and all around chiller. Provided a welcoming atmosphere and made me feel right at home in the jungle. OVERALL: Couldn't have asked for a better experience. AMBIANCE situated me right in the heart of the Amazon. Food? Mouthwatering pasta and a slew of delicious beverages. Service? Alberto, Tony, and Damon are in the inner circle now. Can't wait to return. Feeling jubilant. Go Bruins.
Came here on Friday around 11am without reservations and
Came here on Friday around 11am without reservations and was seated immediately. It was very surprisingly as we came here Thursday night around 7:30pm and it was packed! Rainforest Cafe is a place great for kids as the decor is like a jungle and the stuffed animals on the wall would make noises and move every 15 min or so. Every once in awhile there would be sounds of a storm as well. Given that there were no kids in my party, why did we decide to come here? Well, there used to be one in San Francisco and it closed down and I really liked their paella here so we came here. Unfortunately paella is no longer on the menu! Service was pretty prompt and they even take pictures of you and give you a keychain! We decided to order pastalaya - a play on pasta with jambalaya and fish and chips. The pastalaya was really good! There is some heat to this which was a pleasant surprise. There were lots of meat-chicken, hot link, and shrimp. There were bell peppers, onions and tomato as well (the tomato was really good as it was almost like a palate cleanser). The garlic bread was nice and crispy too. The fish and chips were a really big portion and was fried really crispy. There were also a lot of fries too. Enjoyed the meal very much. Would come back again for a quick meal!
Not even for the fun of it.
There are way better places in Vegas to eat then this dump. And dump is what it is thanks to Nicole & Elizabeth. We had a reservation for a party of 7. The restaurant was empty and I have a feeling as to why. They tried to sit us at a 5 top to which we asked for something larger. It was a family get together with siblings coming from out of town, we wanted to be comfortable and not cram 7 adults at a 5 seat table. We were huffed at, eye rolled, rude service altogether to only be put at another small table. My brother asked if we could add another 2 seater table to ours so we could fit together and we were told no. We asked a few times and showed the manager on duty visibly how hard it was to sit with 7 adults on a 5 seater. I heard her say we could just leave. I should have lead the pack and we should have left. The people I am naming Nicole & Elizabeth are a poor example of customer service. Shame on them. If this is who is hired to represent the brand I can foresee this being the next location closing. As far as the food. It was gross, no one finished their dinner. It was cold, stale, plastic like taste. Our server Ashley was nice, apologized for her manager and hostess. We did take care of her as it was not her fault.
Well worth a visit
Fantastic place, the service was exceptional, the food was excellent. We timed it the have the brunch menu throughly enjoy it… you do not have to be or have a child to enjoy these surroundings
We've always loved the ambiance of Rainforest! The staff
We've always loved the ambiance of Rainforest! The staff are incredibly helpful and add to the playful environment. We had the rainforest and iggy piggy burgers, of which had specific modifications. Our waitress Stephanie ensured that the food was correct. She was very attentive and got our order out in a quickly manner. Our family loved their experience and would come again.
Wish i could give this negative stars.
The food was literally cafeteria level, and I'm not exaggerating. there was a bit of confusion with seating a large party in an otherwise empty upstairs dining area, and the person who identified himself as the GM, who we asked for help to clarify everything was absolutely the rudest, most crass arrogant unhelpful jerk i have dealt with in years. maybe ever. This guy even argued with the person who supposedly organized our group, right in front of us! the wait staff were extremely attentive and tried their best to serve us, the table wait staff was a shining light in an otherwise totally unforgettable, akward and unenjoyable, and expensive experience. i will NEVER go back, i will tell everyone who will listen.. DO NOT USE LAS VEGAS LOCATION FOR A PARTY LARGER THAN 4 people.
Large group success
The restaurant and staff were wonderful with our party of 61 today- food was good and of course the rainstorms still fun.
worst cafe
this spot is was horrible. first you have to walk up 5 flights of stairs so if you are disabled this “cafe” probably isn’t the best for you. it took about 30 minutes to get out drinks and when the drinks came out they set them on the table for us to grab. Then it took 1 hour to get our food and let me tell u it was disgusting. Me and my friends got the waffles and it tasted like cardboard and it was cold not to mention it was infused with jalapeños and the syrup wasn’t syrup it was honey. I’ve never in my 42 years had a waffle that was spicy. In addition it was very dark and you can’t see the menus because of how dark it was. The server was very rude. We were there with about 20 people and not one person liked the food. Do not come here…
Great Bar
My wife and I stopped to look in at the entrance and where welcomed in by the bartender Randy... He told us about the happy hour menu he had at his bar so we sat down to check it out... He asked us what we liked to drink and recommended one of there in house drinks. It's was a form of margarita and it was great! We had a few drinks and tried their lettuce wraps, also at his recommendation... Delicious! Randy had a great personality and gave us A-1 service... By far are best "bar" experience on our trip. Will stop by to see him when we go back.
An Ambiance of Mixed Experiences: Rainforest Cafe Las Vegas Review
My recent visit to the Rainforest Cafe in Las Vegas offered quite a mixed experience. As my party and I entered the restaurant, we did so through the second level of the mall, where we couldn't help but notice the gift shop. It was a bit of a departure from my expectations because I had assumed it would be located on the casino floor, but I guess things have changed over the years. Upon arrival, we were met with a wait, and our initial interaction was with a photographer who was eager to take our picture and sell it to us. He made it clear that he worked for tips, repeatedly mentioning it. We decided to have our photo taken, though personally, I wasn't too concerned about having my picture taken, and was a bit bothered by the experience. What struck me as odd was that I immediately noticed a significant number of empty tables in the restaurant, with approximately half of the place unoccupied. This left me puzzled as to why we had to wait for 15 minutes for a table despite the apparent availability. The menu, though somewhat limited, did offer some intriguing selections, ranging from steak and shrimp to chicken pasta and various seafood dishes. For our main meals, I ordered the chicken quesadilla, while my wife opted for the adventure appetizer, which included chips, artichoke dip, mozzarella sticks, chicken strips, and Mexican rolls. The tab for our meal came to $60, which felt a bit steep. One notable letdown was the iced tea; it was watered down and had an odd tang, making it a rather disappointing choice, especially considering its high cost at $5.00. Tea is my go to wherever I go. On the upside, the Rainforest Cafe did provide a unique and entertaining atmosphere. The simulated lightning and thunder experiences were especially cool, and the presence of animatronic animals and jungle sounds added to the overall ambiance. What surprised me was that the noise level was quite manageable; it wasn't overly loud, allowing for enjoyable conversations. The restaurant caters to family visits, offering upbeat music and a creative and fun atmosphere. However, our waitress seemed to lack attentiveness. Given that the restaurant wasn't very busy, we expected better service but saw little of her. I tipped accordingly. Nonetheless, in terms of the food, the chicken quesadilla was a highlight, with a very satisfying taste. The chips and artichoke dip were also good, but the chicken fingers were a letdown. Our friend, Sammi, enjoyed her side salad and found it tasty, while Rob was pleased with his chicken fried chicken. In sum, Rainforest Cafe in Las Vegas offers a unique and entertaining dining experience with a few hiccups in terms of service and some menu items. I would recommendment place for families and for the experience, but would probably skip it if you're looking for a better restaurant with good service and food.
Lovely food but felt rushed out of the door for no reason
Food was amazing. Service was great, a lot better than people have noted on previous reviews on here. Only downside is they hadn’t cleared our appetiser plates before bringing our mains out. They also brought us the cheque before finishing our mains, without asking. And the restaurant was only at around 40% capacity. This was disappointing.
I love it
Very nice! They had very good food, the staff was super nice and gave us free refills for the beer and let us keep the giant glass. The theme was also really cool, every few minutes they was a "thuderstorm."
Great service
My friend and I swung by for dinner on 8 Aug and really enjoyed our visit. Food costs were comparable to other restaurants on the strip we had visited. As always the restaurant was clean and the food was good. Our server Karen was always on top of drink refills and ready to help when we needed it. I filled out the survey but forgot to add her name, so thanks Karen for your friendly service! Would definitely head back for a visit.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
