Be the first to ReplyGreat good ! Fast service
We were in the area and arrived so early for supper : 4:20 pm And asked for a table for 5 and we were seated immediately! Big place , big turnover . We started with water / beer ๐ป, dur ( yogurt drink ) . Ordered our main courses: Soltani Kebab , ( 1 skewer beef barg and 1 skewer beef koobideh ), my daughter in law and my son ordered that , also to share with our granddaughter. We ordered the chicken Soltani Kebab : one chicken barg ( chicken breast ) and one skewer chicken koobideh. ( ground chicken skewer ). The plates comes with grilled tomato ๐ and grilled green pepper ๐ซ, and lots of basmati rice . Lots of Persian people come here for an authentic meal and it was delicious!

Excellent food with generous portions. Beautiful location, and attentive staff. The Mahi was so fresh and buttery, the rice fluffy and fragrant. The Tadig melts in your mouth with the perfect combo of crispy and savory flavor.
Be the first to ReplyUsually a blast, this time ... not so much
I am a Rafi fan for many years, so after returning after our five months European Tour, Rafi was the first place we went to. Sadly, I was underwhelmed this time. First, the four of us ordered three glasses of water and a Coke - and received three cokes and one water. As we mentioned it was the other way around, the waiter shrugged and left my wife - the only Coca-Cola drinker on the table - with three cokes, bringing us water, and charging her for three cokes later. The warm bean starter we ordered was cold (and warmed up then on our request, as I may add in fairness). Our filet was more than well done - and my comment was also shrugged off. As I said, we are huge fans, and we will surely go again, just hoping that we just had bad luck with our service :-(
Be the first to ReplyTop food quality and worst Service
The best Mediterranean food restaurant in Los Angeles is offered at Raffiโs Place. This quality drags makes me to drive far away to this place. Unfortunately, Service is terrible. Either you need to know waiter/waiters in the this restaurant to get a good service or donโt except any minimum standard hospitality here, The ratio of servants to amount of intake customers do not correlates. Try to order appetizer, main dish, and desert all together once; because, you wont see waiter/s anymore until you ask boss boy to brin your bill. Even for paying your bill, you may need to go to cashier yourself. This is a huge issue that this restaurant has been facing with. There is no courage from top management to take steps to fix this issue. I have been in this place multiple times throughout past years and same issue is being repeated over. I believe bad service will kill the business no matter how much you would add to quality.

I usually go to Raffi's Place when I am in Glendale. I hadn't been there over a year and this time was a disappointment. The restaurant which really is an alley between 2 buildings was very noisy. Our waiter was rude, and was in a rush. The food was not as good as before, it was very greasy. The barg kabob was very tough and tasteless. Overall I felt the restaurant has gone commercialized. I would even say it is in the fast food category. The quality has gone down along with the service. I doubt I will go there again.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food and a great Persian experience.
We had an amazing meal at this restaurant. The food was really good with good portions and good service. My companion thought the beer and available beer could have been better and perhaps a bit more knowledgeable.
Be the first to ReplyVisitors from atlanta
We are visiting from atlanta. So had to eat here and compare to Rumies and see for myself if itโs as good. I will give it 5 star. But itโs not better. Lots of food. So donโt order one plate per person. Itโs better do family style so you can share.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Food, Unpleasant Atmosphere
I had heard such good things about Raffi's, and I finally went. It's a big, bright, noisy room, more like a banquet hall at a hotel than a restaurant. While the food was excellent, my companion and I could barely have a conversation with all the noise, and the ambiance was unpleasant. We decided to use Raffi's for take-out.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food-crowded
Food here is awsome but wait time for a table is incredibly long. They try their best to accomodate costumers in a timely fashion but expect 40 min wait time for a table every time.

This place has the worst Persian food I have ever had. The staff is rude and not happy to work there at all. Soltani was the worst. Barg was hard like rubber. Overall a nasty place. I really did not want to give it one star but the app makes add s start to post the review.

Excellent Persian restaurant near the Americana at brand area, the place is huge and very busy in the weekends, the name of the restaurant deceived me it didn't sound like Persian name. The food we have ordered was so good and delicious, big portion, well presented, very good service and helpful staff. Price: Mid-High. Highly recommended

I don't usually leave reviews but this time I had to. Exceptional Persian Cuisine, reasonably prices and a great service too. I've been to lots of Persian Restaurants but this one was one of the best!
Be the first to ReplyPopular Persian cuisine in LA
This restaurant is my wife favorite Persian cuisine ever. She has been there many times. It was my first time. The ambiance was good . Nice staff.
They serve many Iranian foods.
The location is in glendale and it is far from touristic places of LA.
Chelo kebab is one of its popular dish and
As the portion was very big my wife and I ordered one and share it.
The price was reasonable.
In traditional recipes for Kebab in Persian cuisine
Use lamb meet but in this restaurant they just use beef and the result was very good
Fabulous Dining Experience
We had a fabulous dinner with excellent service in a very pleasant atmosphere. I managed to leave my wallet there, and when I called the next morning the first person I spoke with said it had been set aside for me, awaiting my call. A truly remarkable experience.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious and a value to boot!
I have eaten here at least 2 dozen times over the past 15+ years.
What I love
Fast fast fast
Fresh cooked to order food
lively atmosphere
always busy
family style
great value
very tasty grilled meats
I have eaten nearly every item on the menu. I like the grilled ground meat, filet and lamb best. But the shank is wonderful on a winter day especially. I have enjoyed the fish. Every flavor of rice.
Anyway, usually there is enough for lunch the next day when two go. 3 apps 2 entrees and drinks.
always busy make a res
Always good
It has been over a year since we last visited and not much has changed and that is good. The food is always good as well as service and cleanliness. This restaurant is bench mark for good Persian food.

Great Persian food. I highly recommend you ti try kebabs and also desserts. Service was perfect too. All waiters were great
Be the first to ReplyTop class service
Good service just makes the food taste so much betterโฆ and the adverse is also true.
We had just come from a place where we hadnโt been acknowledged for 20 minutes after sitting down, so you can imagine our relief when our waiter introduced himself within 3 minutes and his assistant checked on us numerous times during our meal.
This is a reflection of outstanding management.
The hostess was so sweet and hospitable too, the one with beautiful curly hair.
I cannot fault this place, thereโs a reason why they were full.
First time trying Armenian
First time trying Armenian food. The location was perfectly situated in the right area. Parking nearby or can do valet. Since they were busy, the wait was about 20-40 minutes. The main dish portion was huge and couldnโt finish it. Almost good for 2. They do inside or outside dining. Though, the outside dining is too close on the sidewalk area. People keep passing you by where I found it to be annoying.
Be the first to ReplyRAFFIS KABOBS FAMILY STYLE
Sadly this beautiful patio style restaurant can only offer their food for take out. The kabobs are good, the barg is good, and the lamb chops are really good. They also give you enough bread to feed a family of 12! Try the must o musir (sp?) -- yogurt and dried shallots dip -- and the tabbouli -- both great side dishes.
Be the first to ReplyMuch Overrated
The staff was very good at arranging curbside pickup but the food was rather mediocre.
Eggplant with fried onions and yogurt as well the Kashk O' Bademjian were good, lentil soup quite ordinary, but both the Chicken Soltani and the Shish kabob were overcooked and dried out, tomatoes and peppers raw but charred on one side. The portions were absolutely enormous - enough for two meals.
Trying this well-known restaurant for our first time was quite disappointing and we will stick with our usual delicious food from Adana.
Perhaps eating fresh food at the restaurant is better.
Its well known Armenian Resturant
Its well known Armenian Resturant serving Grilled kebab and Meat, the Hummus and Taboula was great the beef cube was a bit dry but the kebab was juicy but has less flavour same for the boghula rice
Be the first to ReplyWorst Persian food I ever had.
I am Persian and what this restaurant serves has nothing to do with Persian food.
The worst Koobeideh and Barg we ever had.
It was so bad I was forcing myself to eat and couldnโt finish half my plate.
We were very very disappointed.
