Fantastic experience. The waiter. Rafael was accommodating to all needs even laughed at my terrible jokes. The food was absolutely delicious. my wife had a sweet potato ravioli and she absolutely loved it and it was filling she could barely finish it all. me me me, a man could also barely finish my steak, even though I eat a lot. Overall a fantastic Valentines eve deliquite dinner with a special someone. Huge shout out Prato.

We were at the Prato restaurant for lunch today. The hostess was very rude and sarcastic about our language difficulties. All because we asked to sit at a table inside the restaurant while she wanted us to sit at a table on the sidewalk. She deliberately made us wait until she set the table which had been empty for a long time. This is a person unprepared to deal with tourists, which is inconceivable in a tourist city like Orlando. The food, atmosphere and waitress service were good.

Love Prato!! People, place and food! The Cacio e Pepe is delicious!! The margarita pizza is to die for! I highly recommend this restaurant for people who enjoy great food!
Be the first to ReplyGreat dinner and atmosphere!
This was our first dining experience to Prato. Our server Bea was excellent and attentive to our every need and food choices were fantastic. We started with the meatballs served over a creamy polenta. We then decided to try the pizza diavolo. We each had one slice and boxed the rest to go with the left over meatballs. It is spicy with the hot pepper oil so we were glad we got that on the side with our order. We liked the fact you could have a small half plate of the homemade pasta and ordered the mustard spaghetti and bolognese. Both were great in their own right, but the mustard spaghetti was a step above in depth of flavor. Wine selections were great and we finished with Tiramisu and cappuccino. We had a wonderful meal and evening and look forward to a return visit!

Our waitress, Lessa, gave us absolutely fantastic service and was complimented by my family members as one of the best meals they have ever eaten. After personally thanking the manager on the floor, we received complimentary desserts of each kind from their selective, yet highly extensive menu! Cannot express enough our amazing experience here! Will be returning.

This reastaurant was great. They do not have Gluten-free Pizza which was a surprise to me. Great staff and drinks. Just wished the offered GF opinions

Took a long time to receive dinner. The brought the dinner servings all out at different times. Portion size was very small. Will not return.

We love to hop on Sunrail and head to Winter Park (for lunch) when guests arrive from out of town. Today was no different. We had lunch and shopped the avenue. Tired, we popped into Prado to rest our feet and enjoy a cocktail. Great service, cold drinks, and wonderful scenery sitting out at a table on the avenue. Enjoy!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent place for lunch
We had a very nice family lunch at Prato during our latest trip to Orlando. The restaurant has a nice ambience and is located in a very pleasant neighborhood (Winter Park). Service was excellent and food delicious. Don't miss the beet arancini! Would definitively recommend Prato to any friend visiting Orlando.

Great vibe, professional waitstaff, excellent Campagna Salad and a delicious truffle pizza. Nice well priced wine list. Overall great place for lunch.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely amazing
Our server Sydney was awesome. Warning, we just came back from Italy, so it’s tough to compete with that. But, the pasta we had, cacio e pepe, was just as good as we had in Rome 2 weeks before. The Diavolo pizza, with the 3 p’s - pepperoni, pancetta, provolone was fantastic. My iced tea was top notch and refilled before I had to ask. Comfortable, fun place to eat, talk and enjoy living.
Be the first to ReplyHorrible Food and Service!!
Food is bland, drinks are overpriced, and management/staff are aloof/uncaring. I have been there a couple of times and my experiences are the same...... horrible. If you complain to management/staff, they will throw a tantrum and ignore you. Childish.... Unprofessional..... Pathetic...... I would recommend Blu on the Avenue instead.
Be the first to ReplyA wonderful night of fun and food
A wonderful night of food and excellent service. I can’t say enough about the outstanding service we had from our waiter, Steven. Imagine the last Friday night before Christmas and you must wait on a table of 12 women having their secret Santa gift exchange. No worries, Steven was professional and never flinched. During our three hour dinner, so typical of Italian family dinners he met every request with a smile and good humor. The cocktail, wine and appetizer menu had enough variety to please all twelve. Our dinner choices were prepared expertly and arrived steaming hot. I really like that they allow half portion orders. Some of us that had difficulty choosing just one entree ordered half portions of entrees to share. I had the full portion of squash filled ravioli. I was surprised to see an Italian sized portion of delicious ravioli. I tasted my friends salmon entree which was prepared with a delicious crispy skin. Something very hard to prefect in a restaurant. I really felt like I was in an expensive fine dining restaurant. I know of one local “fine Italian restaurant” that is charging an expensive price per person for groups during the holidays. Prato had no such charges. Very reasonable prices for great food. High praise to Prato’s management for a well trained staff. As for the cooks tell them they have a new patron. Best Ravioli dish in the area. Thank you to the staff at Prato for a wonderful night.

Quoted 30-40 minutes ‘could be less’ for a first available table. Checked in twice and was told ‘table is paying’ and ‘table is being cleaned’…
Other waitlist parties prioritised before us despite us checking in first.
Have waited an hour and ten minutes now and still not gotten a text for the table. Not sure who is managing their tablet but they need someone else in charge. Gone up the street to a nearby competitor with immediate seating… sort your host stand out.
Beautiful but bad !!
Definitely its not kids friendly. We were in 8 persons ( 4 adults and 4 kids ), the hostess told us she cannot guarantee one table for 8, and probably will split the table. They did that placing one couple in between us, that arrived together.
One table for 4 kids and 1 table for 4 adults.
I asked about kids menu, the waiter told me about cheese pizza and pasta only, we ordered 3 pizzas and 1 pasta. The pizza came and its the same size as a regular adult pizza. Why he didn’t told us ? And they charged as a normal pizza. He could be more friendly and said about the size and 3 pizzas for a 6/7/9 years old kids will be too much considering its a adult pizza enough for 2 adults.
Apart from that, every food came in a different time, when my food came, my wife had finished already. White wine was not cold enough.
It was a disaster !!!! Will never come back.
Great pizza and salad
Wife and I visited here back in 2014. We were in town to see the historical museum and wanted lunch, so we decided to return here since we enjoyed the pizza so much before. Well, it was really good again. We also split the Cesar salad, and then had the margarita pizza, which was excellent. No drinks this time or dessert though.

Nice atmosphere on a hot day. Leo was an excellent waiter. very attentive. I had the cacio e pepe which was very good in spite of adding panchetta. Normally, the dish is just the pasta, pepper and cheese but I would order again because their version was tasty. The panini was also very good and a large serving. Will return.

I was fortunate to meet a partner in Prato at their other store Luke’s. I was fair and honest with him about the lack of love and the bad attitude of the employees. Just because your are on PArk Ave that is no excuse to be snob. Get over yourself. If you want love go to Blu and ask for Nikko or GArp n Fuss and ask for Destiny or Boca and ask for Megan or UMI and ask for George or Luke’s and ask for Gabriela ….bottom lines Prato is a lost cause
