Very memorable date!

5/5 by 👻 @Mei_C on 09/14/2024

This was the highlight of my trip! It wasn't even planned! We happened to chance upon the Pokemon Store and Cafe in Osaka. I knew how difficult it is to get a booking online. The slots just filled up in seconds upon release. So i took a chance and waited for almost 90 minutes to see if there was a cancellation. Ended up, 3 groups of 2 managed to get in! Seems they put aside 1 to 2 tables for walk-in customers for each seating For 12pm, 12.15pm and 12.30pm seatings, Pikachu appears at approximately 1.05pm. He dances to a Japanese song. You don't get to meet him personally. Can only take photos and videos from your seat. And each seating is 90min with last order being 30min before the end (12pm seating must order last item by 1pm). The food is above average. The drinks were excellent! Very well themed. We ordered in English, using the ipad provided. At the end of the meal, you can buy exclusive merchandise meant only for cafe customers. We left the Cafe on a high note.

A fun place for kids and Pokémon lovers!

5/5 by 👻 @Elad D on 08/19/2024

This place was so fun! Don’t think you’re coming to a posh French bakery - you’re not! It is made for kids and Pokémon lovers. It’s all about Pokémon and the food is simple and fun. We got ice coffee with our favorite Pokémon character on it, fluffy pancakes with fruit and some yummy side float with Mango ice cream. Our kids loved it and had a ton of fun dancing with Pikachu and taking lots of pictures!! Totally worth it.

Relying on Pokemon brand to sell slop

1/5 by 👻 @Chris O on 06/12/2024

Osaka cafe - This place trades on the Pokemon name, the food is horrendous and if it wasn’t for the name they trade on, they’d get shut down for offering up slop. Pikachu curry just looks like he’s had food poison and tastes just as much plus a drink that’ll make nuclear scientist blush Kirby cafe in Tokyo is 1000x better!!

Not accomodating

1/5 by 👻 @Maree H on 04/30/2024

Unfortunately we did not have the best experience here. After many nights of trying to secure a booking we managed to get a reservation for 2 people. We are a party of 4 (x 2 adults and x 2 children) and kindly asked whether one adult could accompany our children (with our 5 year old sitting on our lap) or us ordering for our children and waiting outside the cafe (with them in view at all times). Our eldest child is 9 years old and in Grade 4. We were told no to both options. We then asked whether we could split the time allocated (90 mins) so we could attend in groups of 2 and were also told no. We then asked whether there was a time available where we could all go to the cafe and were told no. This meant that only 1 parent and 1 child could attend, with another child missing out. What was so disappointing as there was a line for cancellations with 10 or so people who were allowed into the cafe at our time spot when we were told there were no spots available. You are better off going to the Kirby Cafe in Tokyo - much better food, service and value for money (we also had a booking for 2 at the Kirby Cafe and the waitress allowed one of us to sit with our children and even offered for them to both go in without us and to help them with the menu and ordering). Please note there is no information in the FAQ on the cafe website saying an adult needs to accompany a child.

Real disappointment, no real pokemon experience, just some hanging toys but kids are not suppose to touch them.

1/5 by 👻 @Mayuri S on 03/05/2024

Pure disappointment!! The food served was cold. Tiny portion for the price. There was indoor play area or pokemon toys to touch or play. The kids are suppose to sit and eat and after 90 mins leave. There was no real pokemon experience. 3 Television screens for Kids on wall. Each person visiting including a kid (also 2 years old) must order something. NOT WORTH THE VISIT AND TIME. Rather visit a pet cafe (cat cafe).

Walk in accepted

4/5 by 👻 @alee8118 on 10/29/2023

Like everyone, I tried to book as soon as the dates were released but the website kept crashing and I wasn’t able to make a reservation. However, when we visited the Pokemon center next to it, I just popped by the cafe to have a look and to my surprise, they list out all the time slots and there were availability mid afternoon. So we went there for an afternoon tea and it was pretty good. Gengar came to entertain half way and although it was all in Japanese, it was entertaining nevertheless. For those who couldn’t manage to book, don’t despair as they accept walk in!

Was ok.

3/5 by 👻 @Akil O on 02/23/2023

Booked this a month in advance from the UK. When we got there we were seated quickly. I believe the food and drink were costly for what they are. A massive Pikachu came out to greet everyone and dance. Which was nice. Overall the food was Ok. Would not reccomend as there is more hype than anything.

For fans only

3/5 by 👻 @Minna1228 on 11/13/2022

Rem to book online and be there on time. You could see pikachu and dance sing with him during visit. Self order on ipad. Very very cozy environment. Purely for fans only as the food is sucks, only good for photo taking.

Each posting on AppointmentTrader shows you which user submitted it and along with that provides a trackrecord of that user which indicates how much experience the user has and how many percent of their transactions resulted in them issuing a refund.

If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Pokémon Cafe Osaka at 6 PM the same day.

He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Pokémon Cafe Osaka page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.

That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.

Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.

Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.

2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.

3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at Pokémon Cafe Osaka to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.

4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Pokémon Cafe Osaka!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
