Be the first to ReplyPretty restaurant but food is awful.
First night in London and this place was in our hotel. I ordered the special which was a fish and veggies. Nothing special but it was good. Now my husband ordered the fish on the menu. It came a la carte so it was the whole fish on a plate. It looked OK but as he started it eat the fish was pink and raw inside. I think they just cooked the top. It was gross. We love sushi but this was a cooked fish dish. The server who was great even was shocked when she saw it. We skipped dessert and got something sweet across the street at the St. Pancreas train station which is beautiful and has many shops and restaurants.
Be the first to ReplyAs the English are known to say, this place was brilliant.
I stayed at the hotel & ate breakfast here. The food was fantastic. I had the English breakfast (minus the black pudding ) & the eggs were perfect, the bacon was crispy just how I like it, sausage was tasty & the best part, the English breakfast tea was the best I've ever had. The service was great, very attentive. The atmosphere is very classy but also very comfortable at the same time. Give it a try, you'll enjoy it!

Super friendly service, lively pleasant atmosphere, delightful (sometimes very filling) cuisine. Thoroughly enjoyed on more than one occasion.

I've been to plum and spilt milk twice - located conveniently at Kings Cross station, its a great choice without having to go far to explore in the miserable winter coldness
Be the first to ReplyLovely ambiance, restaurant located within the GNH.
Went in for breakfast on a whim while visiting London and was pleasantly surprised. The decor of the restaurant feels very classy, quiet but not stuffy. Staff, food and service were all exceptional. This was my first time having a Full English breakfast, all items were cooked well, everything was high quality. Priced might seem a little high to some but believe me you're getting quality product.

This is a dining experience for special occasions or the wealthy, as this elegant restaurant is very, very, expensive. However as an occasional treat it is lovely and the staff are good as you would expect. The seating is unusually comfortable so provided an opportunity to relax during a break in a long day.

The food is ok. If the breakfast wasn't free (via my SPG status), I'm not sure I'd ever go here. The gluten-free options are nice, especially the eggy bread.

We came here on a Sunday, hoping to enjoy their traditional Sunday roast which many have reviewed here. However, much to our dismay, we discovered that it is only offered on their brunch menu till 4 pm, not for dinner. Yet we decided to stay for dinner anyways. Off the a la carte menu, we ordered the crispy ducky leg starter and the roasted pork belly for 2. Both were delicious! The pork belly was served with grain mustard mash, mashed potatoes with mustard which was unusual yet surprisingly tasty. It ended up being a delicious dinner in a lovely dining space with beautiful lights all around. Next time, we'll come back for their Sunday roast.

I came here with 3 friends to check out the Sunday roast after hearing so many good things about this place. While the roast was decent, I felt that it was extremely overpriced for what was offered. Also, the drinks were all upwards of 12 pounds for a small flute, so I felt that was a bit excessive as well.Overall, the food was alright, though it left a lot to be desired and a pretty hefty hole in our wallets. Despite the beautiful setting, I'd spend my money elsewhere.

Had couple of drinks and some small dishes at this place after a stroll in the hood. Liked the interior design more than the food. It was nothing Rong with the good, just a bit plain. The waiters are very welcoming and attentive. Not a bad choice if you are in the neighborhood of King Cross Station.
Be the first to ReplyGorgeous restaurant right next to Kings-Cross.
Impeccable service, lovely atmosphere. Brought a client and had a great meal and will definitely return for a date-night. It was a wonderful evening - thank you!
Be the first to ReplyThis is probably my favorite restaurant in London right now.
The food is fresh, well seasoned and just great food.We had the Mackerel, Seabass and PorkChop and it was the best pork chop we had ever. The pork chop was perfectly cooked and with the right amount of fat, although I will say that it was also the most expensive pork chop we ever had :) but well worth it. Highly recommended. We had breakfast the next morning, and the food was good but not as great as dinner although service was still amazing. I didn't get the name of the waiter but I have to give kudos to the service staff and whoever their boss is because he has them trained correctly.Service, food and everything that happened that night was just amazing. Juliano, who was our waiter is probably one of the best I've ever had and I've dined in a lot of 3 Michelin star restaurants but Juliano was very attentive and took care of our needs without overwhelming us. He made our dinner as enjoyable as the food.
Be the first to ReplyThe breakfast at this place is unreal.
I have eaten here my entire trip to London and I will miss the Butter Beans the most. Everything is cooked perfectly and the same each time. You also can't beat the music playing Fleet Foxes, Nick Drake, and Van Morrison whilst you dine.
