Waste of money
We booked as part of our two day visit to Liverpool to celebrate our friends 60th birthday. Upon arrival all was good, a nice welcome, glasses of champagne etc as requested were brought promptly & food followed shortly afterwards. Then nobody came to us after that. After approximately an hour passed by & we had still not been offered tea (unlimited as part of the offer). I had to go & find a member of staff to ask for it. We felt like we were being ignored, as other tables were being attended to. When we finally got attention, we asked for one of the teas to be caffeine free, this request was due to one of the party having a medical condition, however when the waiter brought the teapots to our table he did not know which of them was which. Such a shame, lovely place, fabulous views, food acceptable, but seriously let down by the service (or more accurately - lack of service) - our plan was to order more drinks after the food to add to our experience , but decided to go elsewhere., to add insult to injury, we were then charged a ยฃ19 service charge! Sad because every other establishment we visited during our two day stay in this beautiful city provided outstanding service.

Well I am very sorry to say this but the afternoon tea was mediocre at best, how they can justify the price is beyond me. Also found it very strange when waiting to use the ladies and the male waiter emerged, when I said to a relative why was he in there, he went ,came back and stated he worked there and could use the ladies/disabled toilets even though he was neither. Surely you should use the toilet relevant to you. The waiter we had Daniel was very nice and could not fault him. All I can say have been to much nicer places and had much better after noon teas. They should really try to improve the standards.
Be the first to ReplyVery enjoyable afternoon tea.
Really enjoyed afternoon tea here. The service was really excellent and the food was great. Could have had a more extensive and varied tea menu but overall really enjoyed it. Kids menu is good value at ยฃ14. Great views!

Outstanding food and service, views were amazing, cocktails were delicious , opted for the 3 course lunch menu and it did not disappoint , every course was a delight. Compliments to the chef . Staff were very professional and accommodating .
Be the first to ReplyShame!
Fantastic view and friendly service. There were 4 of us celebrating a 60th birthday, the selection of cocktails were good and very enjoyable. The starters were very mixed between the size of the meat starters to very small fish. Main courses very nice and the sides very good. The assiette of desserts were very good. However, later in the evening the members of the group who both had fish were very ill which spoiled the birthday celebrations for a few days.

Lovely location, overall experience was disappointing. Food average to poor, must do better. Iโd be hard pressed to advise anyone to book this for a special occasion.
Be the first to ReplyFriendly welcoming staff with amazing views
Had a welcoming experience and the views were amazing and exactly what we imagined. Great cocktails and sampled the bar menu which although a tad pricey the food was nice enough. Had a relaxing atmosphere until they moved a large party of 5 next to us who were loud and inconsiderate of their surroundings. Changed the vibe completely from a relaxing bar to a rowdy pub atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place just for the views to see Liverpool from above.
Be the first to ReplySunday Lunch With Ftirnds
Seated promptly. The view I have to say was amazing. Along with a starter I had the Sunday roast. The portion size was ok. I had asked for extra roasties instead of a Yorkshire pudding but didnโt not receive extra. However, the roasties I did have were not the best. Friend ordered a bottle of wine but by the time a waiter came again she decided to have it by the glass has we have moved onto mains. Pudding was not what I expected it was ok though.
Be the first to ReplySuperb Afternoon Tea!
My Girlfriend and I came here this afternoon for. the luxury Afternoon Tea and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the staff were very polite. The food was excellent and very well presented and was delicious and certainly worth it. I do not mind paying a bit more as long as you get what you pay for which we certainly did whilst enjoying the breathtaking views of our fantastic city. This was our first visit here and we will definitely be returning. Well done folks.
Be the first to ReplyFabulous Afternoon Tea at Panoramic 34
We had a fabulous time at Panoramic 34. We had afternoon tea, our first time, in the lounge. Laurie/Lori our host was fantastic. The food was wonderful, really very tasting and so much of it; we left with extras in a box. The view is spectacular which turned out amazing in our photos. The service was flawless and attentive and they surprised us with a beautiful Welcome to Liverpool slate with candies. We would highly recommend it to anyone...food, setting, service all on par! Thank you again.
Be the first to ReplyAfternoon Tea - disappointing
View great. However, afternoon tea was overpriced. Surroundings left a lot to be desired. Seats very uncomfortable stained and worn out. Coffee delivered lukewarm and had to be sent back for heating up. Staff utterly disinterested and inattentive. Honestly, I wouldn't rush back. The whole place is tired and needs a thorough shake up and refurb. Hugely disappointing.
Be the first to ReplyLuxury Afternoon Tea experience
Spent a lovely afternoon here enjoying luxury afternoon tea. Lana looked after us so well. We were not rushed at all and had excellent service and food. Thank you.

Stunning restaurant, beautiful views, fabulous food, delicious vegan dishes, amazing service. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back, thank you panoramic 34 for a fabulous night 10/10 ๐
Be the first to ReplyEveryone needs to go here at least once in their life.
I decided to treat myself and went solo to the restaurant. Before I went I viewed the menu online and went for the Prix Fixe menu. They called me the day before to check I was going. I told them I was worried about being alone but they reassured me and were lovely. They offer to take your coat when you're walking in, just let them take it, it's nice and warm in there. I was worried about being alone but the staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed. Lana the waitress was always ready when I needed anything, was very knowledgeable and was able to somehow prempt things. We had some lovely quick conversations. The view was fantastic (you can see on top of the Liver building)! The flavours from the food were perfectly combined. I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and tried things I wouldn't normally try I'm glad I did. I had a pornstar martini and it was lovely. I love a good brew and the teapot they brought the tea in actually kept my tea hot. That doesn't happen often. I've posted some photos, excuse me already cutting onto some of the foods but I was excited to try the food. It's not just about the food there. It's definitely a fantastic experience. I want to take everyone there. I didn't feel guilty either as I went shopping straight after. Everyone needs to go this place at least once in their life. Once you go once, you'll want to go again.
Be the first to ReplyLovely Afternoon tea with a great view
Fabulous spot for a birthday meal, everyone was very attentive & welcoming. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and also brought out a little plate to wish me happy birthday!! Great view, and the sun even made an appearance long enough to get a few snaps, the view is great and the ambience adds to the experience. I would thoroughly recommended the luxury afternoon tea over the classic afternoon tea for anyone who is debating between the two - the cocktail included was lovely!
Be the first to ReplyTired & Dirty
Really disappointed! The cocktail lounge is very tired looking, especially the old stained chairs and carpet! We were seated at a dirty table with food on the chair and floor. The toilets were filthy! Service was mediocre. Cocktails nothing special and we waited 50 minutes for a bowl of chips! I would not recommend.

Wow this was fabulous. Staff friendly and well informed and all the choices we made were tasty and original. Enjoyed the woke dining experience as the views added an extra treat.
Be the first to ReplyWow what a view. Literally the Shard of Liverpool
We were incredibly lucky to visit on such a clear day. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive. The food was amazing and the drinks exquisite. This has been on our list to visit for sometime and it exceeded my expectations. Having visited The Shard the food quality and experience were equal to. There is nothing negative to say. Thank you!

My wife and I went for a meal to this restaurant while we were on holiday, for our anniversary and we were not disappointed, it was excellent,
Be the first to ReplyGreat Lunch on a lovely day
It was a lovely day when we went to the Panaramic so we were looking forward to seeing the views. They did not let us down as we could see for miles both ways.
The service was very good and the staff were very attentive.
3 very nice courses for lunch and a nice bottle of wine. We did laugh as we paid ยฃ4.50 for 8 chips.
Overall the food was very good, very well presented and very tasty.
The one negative I have was I was disappointed with the supposed dress code. My wife and I ensured we were properly dressed for lunch. No trainers, no jeans, no holes in jeans and no tracksuit bottoms. I was surprised to see many people were not following the dress code and were allowed in the restaurant. Why bother having a dress code ?
Overall a lovely day and experience.
Fantastic afternoon tea
We visited today to celebrate a special birthday and had a wonderful time . The staff were warm and welcoming, the food fantastic and the views absolutely outstanding. The handling of a food allergy was done professionally and smoothly. Special shout out to Lauri for looking after us so well and making the day so special for mums 80th birthday. Highly recommend this place and will visit again in future.
Be the first to ReplyOK, but not overwhelmed.
Upon arrival we were shown to our table, which luckily was right by a window. However, I struggled pulling the chair as it was heavier than anticipated and the waiter just stood there and laughed! Not a great first impression.
The food was very nice but the portions were ridiculously small, I had the lamb which consisted of three bite size pieces and half a shallot. Thank goodness for the amuse - bouche and canapes - we would have left starving otherwise!
On reflection we thought the food was overpriced for what you got, especially with the dreaded service charge that was added (which we got removed as I really don't like this practice at all).
For us the place was a little pretentious, and the conversation from the staff quite scripted as we could hear the exact same questions being asked to all tables. We like being left alone during a meal, and being constantly asked if all was OK, and given a big speech on all the courses is just not us.
However, I appreciate that many do like this and if so then this is the place for you. I am glad I have been, and we did enjoy the food but overall we left quite underwhelmed.
Beautiful views (of course ) but disappointing food
We had booked for the prix fixe menu as we both fancied the ox cheek, however, on arrival we found there had been a miscommunication and our table had been set for the tasting menu. We decided to go ahead with the tasting menu as we couldn't be bothered with the fuss it seemed to be causing and decided that we might enjoy a menu not chosen, exposing us to unconsidered tastes/experiences.
The canapรฉs were absolutely delicious and hopes were high for the rest of the meal. Unfortunately, that was the highlight. The bread rolls were too hot to serve and squidged to a revolting soggy dough. (Hubby didn't mind) The amuse bouche of filo tartlet with pulled beef was quite nice, but teeny tiny and the filo so thin and crispy it was irrelevant.
Then we had the the roasted heritage carrots (after a very long wait of an hour since arrival) Delicious as they were, a couple of slivers of carrots does not a satisfying bite make (snaffled down in two minutes given our hungry state).
Then I got really excited as the next course was scallop. I had in my head a gorgeous, plump hand -dived Scottish scallop all crusty on the outside and creamy on the inside. Imagine the disappointment when a dish came with three teeny tiny thin pieces of scallop! When I expressed my disappointment to the lovely waiter, his proclamation was that they were Orkney scallops (not helping the case!)
Next came the monk fish course. Or should I say monk fish cube. A cube. Two tastes in fact when cut in half! I discovered I do cook monkfish well myself (this was the first timevid had monkfish in a restaurant)
By this time we were both feeling a bit deflated, this not being the meal we'd come out for. Next came the lamb rump which was simply laughable: a slice a centimetre and a half thick.
The lemon posset was not lemon posset as I've made it. A squirt of squirty cream with confit lemon underneath and fennel on top. The next dish was the by far the best dish of the day a chocolate dessert. A lovely place, but hubby had toast when we got back.
You NEED to go to this place.
This place is out of this world, the view is spectacular, the service is unbeatable, I have never felt so special at a restaurant in my life, the staff are so friendly, we never had an empty glass, they wiped the crumbs off the table, it was amazing and the food, well, I haven't and doubt I ever will taste food like that again, worth every penny. Cannot wait to go again.
