Very good dinner before The Beatles
We had a very nice dinner before going to see The Beatles Love Show. We made a 515 reservation & were seated even a couple minutes early. Our waitstaff were very professional but also engaging on a personal level. He encouraged us to get our order in fairly quickly if we were going to the show because the kitchen would get backed up as more people came in. We placed our orders. Appetizers came out pretty quick - Meatballs & the Fried Mozzarella - both were very good. Our meals came out shortly after that. Probably a little too quick after the appetizers, could have had a few more minutes. All the meals were very good (my wife thought her clams were a little chewy though). The texture of the various pastas we got was perfectly cooked & the sauces were tasty (4 different sauces & 4 distinct flavors - even the red sauces had distinct tastes). Overall a very nice meal, great location to the show, but just a little rushed.

We ate here after seeing Cirque de Soliel The Beatles Love. We were seated at around 8:45 pm and it was still pretty busy. Started with the Fried Calamari. Very, very good. Had thin slices of perfectly crispy zucchini as well as the calamari, and came with two dipping sauces - an aioli and a marinara. My wife had meatballs for her main, she liked them a lot, and I had the wood-grilled pork chop. Very juicy and flavorful. Our server was great, Overall a godd experince and I would recommend if you are staying at the Mirage. Insider tip - get some excellent gelato across the way rather than desser at Costa - the gelateria is fantastic!
Be the first to ReplyFresh Pasta, nice ambience and killer negronis
We ate at the restaurant ahead of the Beatles Cirque show at the Mirage and we were extremely impressed with the quality of the fresh pasta (Shrimp Linguine and the pulled beef). The negronis were excellent and the service wonderful as well.

Stayed at the Mirage. Made reservations here upon recommendation of a friend. I had the spaghetti with meatballs. My husband had the lasagna. Table was served foccacia bread with oil and balsamic. It was excellent. My dinner had to be the best spaghetti and meatballs I’ve had in my life. Lasagna was incredible.
Be the first to ReplySo good!
The food and service were excellent. The only reason I can't rate it 5 stars was the cigarette smoke that drifts in from the gaming floor. Maybe sitting near the back would help.

We went a few minutes before 5:00 to eat here because that’s when they were opening and also someone was at the desk to take reservations. We were told no reservations available till 6:30. We were going to a show at 7:00 so could not do that. They said the bar was available and then we walked in they said the area where they were making pizzas was available and we could learn how to make them as we ate. My hubby already makes great pizzas at our home we just wanted to enjoy our meal. As We’re sitting we noticed many tables were not taken and wondered why we were not seated at one of those empty tables. We were quite disappointed at where we were sitting. The seats at the pizza making area did not have backs and very uncomfortable for older folks to sit for a while and enjoy dinner. Serena was our server and was doing the best she could. We thought the food was ok. It was kinda expensive for what we got. I would not go back here if I’m ever in Vegas again. I do not think this place cares about their clients like other places we have been. Very disappointed with the overall experience.

The is very good, Reasonable cocktails, Very helpful and nice waiters, excellent food. We took shrimp linguine, chicken marbella and a ceaser salad. Delicious and very aesthetic dishes. For dessert a great tiramisu.

We visited here for a special family dinner one evening, our first visit to this restaurant. The restaurant has a very authentic Italian atmosphere and feel. The service was super friendly, helpful, and efficient. We opted for various entrees including Chicken Parm, Lasagne, Chicken Marsala and Chicken Alfredo. Every dish was superb, but especially the Chicken Parm and Lasagna which had the most amazing marinara sauce. The lasagna was one of the nicest we have ever eaten. The restaurant also provided my Mum with a special birthday dessert, which was a lovely touch. We loved our visit to this restaurant, and although it is a little pricier than others – it was incredibly worth it, and we will certainly return.
Be the first to ReplyCosta at the Mirage
We were staying at the Mirage and didn't want to get all dressed up to go to dinner. We picked Costa. Nice casual atmosphere. Waiter was nice and very informative. I had the Salmon Picada, which was excellent. Waiter said all their pasta was made by hand so I did a side of fettuccine Alfredo, which was good. My husband had the clam linguini., which he enjoyed it had clams in the shell on top, plus chopped up clams in the pasta. We had the calamari for an appetizer, the calamari was a little over cooked, we actually liked the vegetables better that were mixed in with it. Over all a good experience and would eat there again.

Ambience is nice. However, when taking reservations and using a phone number, please text if the table is ready before the 1 hour estimate. It’s not convenient to keep coming back to check. Just getting warmed up. When you seat someone, place menus in their hands and take drink orders, I believe this is common right? It took 20 minutes to do this, normally after 10 I would walk out but this time I was curious to see how long it would take. It took 20 minutes. We ordered right away and the food was out within 1 hour of being seated. The waitress just checked on us, 40 minutes after we ordered when the food was at the table. I think she came over because I was just at the bar getting my wife a refill of Diet Coke. The wife’s Bolognese was burnt and my $36 pork chop was dry. Yes, a $36 pork chop about 3”Long X 2” wide. Very disappointing!!!!
Be the first to ReplySuper Excellent and I hope Hard Rock Keeps this Restaurant
I made reservations before the Shin Lim show, and it was a good thing I did because there was a long line of people also with reservations waiting to be seated when the restaurant opened. This was one of the best meals we had in Las Vegas, and I hope Hard Rock will keep this restaurant when they remodel the Mirage hotel/casino. They have house-made limoncellos in three flavors. I chose the standard lemon flavor and got the three for a special price savings. Strong, excellent, and not too sweet or tart. The beet salad, we shared, was crisp and made my body happy, it was yummy and healthy. I got the Eggplant Pomodoro which was a nice size with small pieces of eggplant and rounded noodles cooked el dente. My husband got the lasagna which was also a nice size. The tiramisu was big with "Costa" spelled out in cocoa plus with chocolate shavings. Definitely shareable and one of the best tiramisus we had. We had an older gentleman as a waiter who was top notch and all the staff including the Asian gentleman who kept our water filled and whisked away our plates quickly. Superb staff and service - like at at a five diamond restaurant. Note that Mirage was bought by Hard Rock so the hotel is no longer included as an MGM hotel. You do not get points and cannot use your Fine Hotel dining credit for the restaurant if you staying at an MGM hotel, like Bellagio. In spite of that surprise at the end when we went to charge it to our room, dinner was well worth the money, and I would put this restaurant at the top of my list to return to the next time we are in Vegas. ** Hard Rock owners and management - please keep this restaurant and staff. They would make me come back to the hotel. **
Be the first to ReplyMany Photos Added. Excellent Italian food and service
Located in the Mirage on the Las Vegas Strip. My wife and I dined here for dinner with no reservation. We were seated immediately. My wife had a Sangria and I had an Iced Tea. We got some fresh bread with dipping sauce. We started with the Calamari appetizer that was very good. It included veggies. We shared the Chicken Parm and the Short Rib Ragu. The food and service were excellent on this visit. Management should be very proud. I added many photos of our visit and will return again soon.

The service was stellar and I regret I didn't get his name. I had the special, fettuccini Alfredo and it was creamy and pasta cooked perfectly. I asked for a not very strong rum and coke and it came just as I hoped; so I had two lol. My husband ordered spaghetti and meatballs and he loved it! Sorry I couldn't go back for the lasagna.

Breakfast was delish. Service was a bit slow but not slow enough to complain. The omelet was very tasty.

Not much special about the menu here (except the donuts!). But the servings were large. It was crowded (not much else available in the hotel in the morning unless all you want is coffee) and the service was not great. We had some issues; but the manager addressed it for us immediately.
Be the first to ReplySecond time as good as the first!
This is our second visit to this underrated restaurant. Our experience was made wonderful by our server Jordan. She took care of us last visit and again this time. She greeted us as though we were friends rather than restaurant diners. Our visit was very enjoyable. She is a great asset to this restaurant. We had the bolognese, spaghetti and meatballs and a salad. Everything was well prepared and the portions were quite large. Its right on the casino floor so very convenient. We will most definitely return!
Be the first to ReplyNow This was a Good Experience
My experience at Costa was just the opposite of my experience the night before at the Heritage Steakhouse. I sat at the bar and both the food and the service was fantastic. I will definitely return!
Be the first to ReplyAte here 3 nights in a row!
Ate here 3 nights in a row (don’t judge, we did the same in Rome)! Excellent food and service. Insalata caprese was very good, with a mild pesto and fresh basil and cheese. Their spicy pizza (sorry, I had to omit the honey it came with) had so much flavor. Hubs had the fettuccini alfredo (not on the menu, but they were happy to make it for him). Mediterranean chicken with olives, capers, broccolini was very good. Excellent red and white wines. Bread was warm and soft - although we prefer crusty European bread. Service and hostess staffs very good and friendly. Save room for desserts - especially the cheesecake and tiramisu. Management were great too, keeping an eye on things. A very nice surprise for a hotel restaurant.

Excellent drinks. Calamari appetizer with aioli is a must. We ordered the Linguine with clams and the Mediterranean Sea Bass. Both fantastic!
