This place is incredible.
Food service and ambiance is awesome. The eggplant Rollentini Appetizer is great. Penne ala vodka is a must try. My favorite waitress is Linda.
Be the first to ReplyWe enjoyed our experience very much at Orzo recently.
A miserable Saturday weather wise and the restaurant was quiet which I like. Greeted and seated right away around 6:30. Menu has something for everyone but pasta is a must! Fresh from a local pasta company Deanos. Waitress was helpful and our drinks and food were very good. I highly recommended the lobster ravioli which is served with shrimp in a creamy marinara. For those looking for something lighter you'll find those options on the menu too. My biggest compliment is the friendly and attentive owner/manager, he took the time to check in on customers and support his staff!

The food is delicious! We have eaten here several times and are never disappointed! The veal is excellent as is the salmon and pork chop. The salads are very fresh! I recommend the Caesar while my husband likes the house. Staff is very friendly and it appears the owners are on site and help with service. Such a friendly atmosphere. The decor is also beautiful! It's a little contemporary, a little elegant while also comfortable!

I had the Chicken Parm Pasta. It was super tasty and delicious. If only they gave me a larger portion (HA). The service was great which is quite impressive and the place had a warm feeling. With a couple more menu additions this place could be 5+ stars!!!

You wouldn't think a restaurant in a small strip mall could be this good, but it is that and more. You can tell when the bread and oil comes out that they know quality.
Be the first to ReplyWe had dinner there recently and we will not be returning.
It started with the reservations for five and requesting a table by a window for specific reasons given to the hostess days earlier. When the first three arrived, she proceeded to sit them in the middle of the room; but relented when explanations were again given. It just went downhill from there. My husband's pork chop was overcooked and tough. He should have gotten a hint when he wasn't asked how he wanted it cooked as other restaurants do. The polenta was rather nondescript and a waste on the plate. I ordered a vegetarian special of ravioli in a cream sauce which was good, but very overpriced at $26 (no meat and small portion). I didnt mention the other three meals as my friends have already written their reviews and none were happy with them. In the future we will reserve at Andiamo's across the street which we've always enjoyed; but no tables available on that particular night.

The waitress was decent but the cooks simply did not want to work. We asked for extra lemons and the waitress came back with three wedges and said there weren't any more lemons. Naturally, my mom went next door to buy some lemons. When the waitress realized my mother had gone to buy lemons, she informed us that she will see if someone at the bar will cut their lemons because the problem was that the cooks don't want to cut the lemons. WHAT THE ACTUAL F----?Aside from the ridiculous lemon situation, the cook handed the waitress the wrong dish and he just laughed and switched the plate out when she noticed and pointed it out to him.Absolutely never returning to this place. The cooks are lazy.
Be the first to ReplyService was awesome.
My wife had the chicken piccata which she loved. I had the veal saltimbocca which I thought was supposed to be veal medallions but tasted more like pork roast. I love my medallions and cutlets. This place is very nice inside. That's all I have to say.

Thank you for a great night out!! Our server Patty was attentive and funny! Owner Paul was great and made sure all the tables in the restaurant were enjoying. The rolls- to die for. We got the chicken Marsala and Picatta and we both had enough to take home for lunch. We ended the night with the lemon cake which we ended up getting seconds of because it was THAT delicious. Lights were perfectly dimmed and the noise level was average it was a great night out. Can't wait to come back and explore the menu more. Thanks again!

Not a bad little place, came here to visit an old friend and was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere. Sat at the bar and met some very friendly clientele. Menu looked pretty big but not overwhelming. Decided to go with the Veal Marsala and wasn't sure what kind of pasta so they recommended the fusilli which was very good. Before my main meal came out I ordered a Tito's lemonade which came in a sort of a snifter glass and also tasted almost like a martini so no complaints from the pour department. I like to taste my alcohol with not too much filler and this definitely did the trick.I was also served nice warm bread which came with oil with which seemed like roasted garlic in it. The flavor in the oil was a nice surprise before I added red pepper flakes and grated Parmesan cheese to it. This was nice to keep my mouth entertained whilst waiting for the main dish since I didn't order any appetizers.Once the pasta came out, the plate was not too hot so I know it had not been sitting under a heat lamp or anything like that. There was a fair amount of sauce and the meat to mushroom to pasta ratio looked pretty good. The veal was nice and tender and easy to cut into. The pasta was nice and soft. The Marsala was nice and balanced, not to tart, not too sweet, just right.I would definitely come back to eat the same meal again but would also like to try some of their other items on their menu. I would definitely recommend trying this place out if you haven't already, it was a pleasant surprise.
Be the first to ReplyThey used to be the best of the best.
Not sure if they are having problems since the pandemic started but wow when they are good they're good but when they are bad they're awful. I got a takeout order of tortellini with pesto, grilled chicken, and broccoli. Last time I had it there in person it was great--but the last 2 times I got it as takeout the sauce was literally pesto water, as it was yesterday. Yuck. Plus with the decreased portions they give now, I don't appreciate paying $27.00 for pesto water. Also, my family and I have been enthusiastic customers of Orzo for many years, and I don't appreciate being treated with an attitude for asking for breadsticks with an order when we go there frequently and pay premium prices for sometimes questionable quality food. Yesterday was my last visit.
Be the first to ReplyA great place for an easy Italian.
Everything was authentic and flavorful. Humorous attentive server. Special salad was overly generous. We could have shared it four ways! The breadsticks are worth blowing your low carb diet on. And the "healthy" chicken Venezia was wonderful! Got the last cannoli of the night too!
Be the first to ReplyWhen we could not get into our restaurant of choice last
When we could not get into our restaurant of choice last night, we regrettably wound up at Orzo. We were seated in the back against the wall. The banquette was split and I had the pleasure of having to sit in the crack. Very uncomfortable. Our waitress was a no-show. She totally ignored us and did not bother to explain her absence. Finally, another waitress took pity on us and she was lovely. Throughout the entire meal, the owner/manager stood at the table next to ours ,so we had the additional pleasure of having his ass in our faces for the entire time. The whole meal was a fiasco and a disaster. I would rather eat a peanut butter sandwich than to ever return to Orzo.
Be the first to Replythis use to be one of my favorite go to places.
...even having to put up with the rude bartender....now i will never go back. the quality of the food has gone way down and the servings of pasta are a joke. how much does pasta cost?

So good! We did takeout but once I'm ready for in person dining we'll be back. The saltimbocca was so tasty.
Be the first to ReplyWent here this evening with my husband and 2 adult boys.
. never have I had such horrible rude service.. the restaurant had maybe 4 tables with diners when we arrived at 630. At 715 when we still hadn't received our food I asked to speak to a manager. The manager never came over and after 7-8 more minutes the food and the manager came over at the same time ..over 50 min from when we got there..when I explained my disappointment in the service the manager said exactly" do you want the food or not" we got up and left never to return I'll preface this by saying we have been there at least 20 times over the past 5 yrs and hadn't had any issues but hadn't been theresince covid. We were disgusted by our treatment.. in addition we were told when we were seated they were out of steak scallops and bacon. We should have known something was up
Be the first to ReplyWent on a sunday night and the place was absolutely dead.
Things started off shaky when the server let us know about 1/3 of the menu was out of stock. Placed an order anyways, ended up waiting 45 min+. Asked to speak to a manager and it took her over 10 minutes to get to us even though there was maybe 5 other tables seated. Comes over and goes "do you want the food or not", no accommodation whatsoever. Told her she was being pretty rude given the circumstances and she goes, "no im not". Lol I now understand why the place was so dead avoid at all costs. Waited a whole hour and didnt even eat.
Be the first to ReplyBeen to this restaurant twice before and it was really good.
My third time here not so good. My partner ordered fettuccini Alfredo and it came out with penne pasta not fettuccine also very watered down. Then to top it off she found a hair. We told the waitress and she came back saying the manager said it was cheese. First off you should never say the customer is wrong second the manager should of came over to the table to apologize. That' was not done. This will be our last time going here.

My husband and I regularly dine here and we had a wonderful dinner tonight. My husband is cognitively disabled and always orders the same drinks, appetizers and meal. Tonight he was not pleased with the amount of gravy on his eggplant rollatini, but Linda, our patient and pleasant waitress was understanding and brought him plenty of extra! It's so helpful when waitstaff understand when people are not being difficult , but have special needs. The meal was GREAT!!
