Ohana Orlando Reviews from The Last Year
The most 3 star event ever lol.
We had fun. The setting is nice. The service was good. There was a guy singing on the ukulele which was nice. But the food was just all sugar. Literally every item was sweet with the exception of the pot stickers and the veggies but those came on the same plate as the sweet chicken and noodles so the sauce got on them and subsequently....sweet. Beef? Sweet. 2 kinds of chicken? Both sweet. Noodles? Sweet. Salad? Sweet dressing. Bread? Sweet. Butter? Comes with honey (sweet). Dessert? Sweet. Literally everything covered in sugar. It's supposed to be Hawaii-ish food. There's a ton of savory options. Pick a few maybe?
Made a reservation for 7:20 and was seated around 7:30.
Soft drinks and this special punch were included. The punch was good but sweet. The bread and salad came out quickly. The salad dressing and butter for bread were so good 10/10! The apps like potstickers, noodles and chicken wings were very tasty as well. All with great flavor The meats were the best especially the steak. Had a sweet sauce. The chicken had a smoky flavor and shrimp were good. The only thing was the shrimp you had to peel yourself. Lastly the dessert and coffee was the best thing ive eaten! Also the views we had of the park were amazing!!! Would definitely come back. For the price you get quite a lot. What was also nice is they do not throw away the food after you eat it. The waiter didnt know the full details but he was reassuring that the food doesnt go to waste.

'Ohana is a wonderfully-themed and run restaurant in Disney's Polynesian Resort. Our group went all-out with floral shirts and leis, and the staff were already enthusiastic to work there, making our experience unforgettable. The live music was calming and immersive, and our waiter was fun to be around. For the dinner, they begin with the sweet rolls and honey-butter with salad. Their cocktails were great, maybe a little heavier than the other restaurants, but they tasted good nonetheless. The non-alcoholic drinks were also excellent, providing homemade options that added to the memorable experience. For the main course, it is family-style all-you-can-eat wings, shrimp, pork dumplings, and chicken. Everything they served was homemade and delicious, adding to the unique and satisfying meal not found anywhere else in Disney. To end the meal, dessert included homemade rice krispy treats and bread pudding. This is one of the best restaurants we went to.
The service was very good and you can't beat the view!
The service was very good and you can't beat the view! Typical Disney of noisy and families. Food was surprisingly good. Noodles chicken wings and it was all fresh and had great flavor. Food was hot and dessert was good
Best Disney restaurant to date? This location did not let
Best Disney restaurant to date? This location did not let me down. I really enjoyed it, but the only thing I didn't like was how they rushed you through dinner and didn't turn down the lights for the fireworks. We had been there for nine minutes when they inquired whether we were finished with the appetizers. We said to each other, "You really need to slow this down." Amazing otherwise. I was thrilled to finally eat at Ohana because I had heard so much talk and excitement about it. The restaurant itself wasn't all that impressive. It was lovely that the food was brought to you in a buffet-style setting. The wonton chips with hummus were excellent, but the bread and butter did not live up to the expectations in my opinion. Although I'm not a big fan of hummus, that one was really good. During dinner, I was grateful that our waiters would often bring our skillets and see to it that my friends and I had all we needed. I ate the platter of shrimp and jackfruit because I'm a pescatarian. It had flavor and was good all over. The tofu was tasteless, but the vegetables and noodles were delicious. The peel shrimp was quite flavorful, but I didn't enjoy having to peel the shrimp every time.
Great place for dinner at the Polynesian resort
We go here every year when we visit Disneyworld. The food is so good and they serve family style ( all you can eat). The servers were good and friendly. You need to save room for dessert.
A Disney staple for our family no more. Bad food and a 600 dollar bill.
This was a must do for our family for 20 years. This year was different. The food was sub par. The meat was brought to table on skillets . They brought about 2 pounds of beef chunks that were tough. Chicken and wings were brought first with noodles and bagged lettuce. We did not buy any alcohol and bill for 6 adults and 2 children who didn’t eat anything but macaroni and cheese was over 600 dollars. Sorry Disney. I am a dvc member and I will drive or Uber off of property for all our meals.
Heartbreaking experience
I took my daughter to Ohana breakfast for her 8th birthday. She was super excited to meet stitch. Stitch unfortunately was very rude. Stitch made my daughter feel very uncomfortable. He stomped his feet, said no once we asked if he would join us as we sang happy birthday to her. I then asked one of hostess if we could get Mickey, since we saw other tables sing happy birthday as other character joined. The hostess then said yes and grabbed stitch which we were very grateful for. Stitch stomped again and rudely grabbed hostess by the arm and pulled her, left us standing there once again! leaving us mainly my 8 year old feeling uncomfortable and awkward.Later approached by Kaleb (manager) he rudely said no stitch wasn’t coming out. We paid 300 dollars for an unpleasant experience.

This place is just AMAZING! WE went for dinner, and the food was just non-stop! The servers keep bringing you food AS LONG AS YOU HAVE FINISH THE DISHES THAT THEY PREVIOUSLY BROUGHT YOU. The shrimp, noodles, and dumplings were my favorite! Definitely, the upside-down pineapple cake at the end puts the perfect finish to the perfect date. If you plan to visit this restaurant, make sure to BE HUNGRY since the serve A LOT of food. The Polynesian is a beautiful resort, and the atmosphere fits the location.
Ohana is a must do.
The experience was heartwarming and the servers are fantastic. For the food we've heard that it's amazing but we found that was an overstatement. While the food is tasty it is definitely not the best food Disney has to offer for ayce/buffet. We did enjoy the variety of selections our favorite being the steak, the grilled chicken and dumplings and of course that Ohana bread pudding! For us the Ohana noodles were oddly too sweet. But overall we had a good time and there were more dishes we liked than disliked here. The place itself is fun and the atmosphere really reminded me of aulani especially looking out at the pool area!
Hands down the best meal at Disney.
It's my family's favorite and we eat there every time we're in Orlando. Great service too.
SKIP THIS it's disgusting and rushed. Shame on you Disney.
SKIP THIS PLACE...DISGUSTING and rushed. I've been to Ohana several times. This time June 2024 was WAY different. Terrible food (all frozen foods over done and dried, pancakes aren't fresh and hard) character greeting was rushed -like a wham bam thank you ma'am for your $178. You're better off to find these characters in the parks and wait. You will have a better experience guaranteed!
We arrived 20 minutes early for our 8 o'clock reservation
We arrived 20 minutes early for our 8 o'clock reservation but weren't seated until 8:25. Where I come from, a reservation means you're seated on time, not auditioning for "Survivor: Waiting Room Edition." Aside from this snafu, our experience was fantastic. The service was top-notch, and the food was so amazing it could make a grown man weep--especially the desserts. The group's unanimous favorite? The dumplings, which were practically angelic. The ambience is cool in a 1970s we just discovered Hawaii sense. It's a little Fantasy Island and a little out of an old Bond movie. Lots of carved, dark wood, tiki torches aesthetic and the feeling of being in a time warp from the Hawaii 5-0 era. Value-wise, it was terrific. Sure, it's on the pricey side, but it's still cheaper than a Brazilian steakhouse, and the food is so much better that it makes you wonder if Brazilian steakhouses have been pulling a culinary con on us all these years.
Ohana means family. But Ohana also means excellent dining experience.
We again had a great experience here. Atmosphere is stellar service was attentive but not intrusive. Food was great. Amazing family dining experience. Ohana is not to be missed on your Disney vacation.
A real treat
We had a great time here. My husband didn't realize it was family-style pre-set menu and he doesn't like family-style or pre-set dinners but as soon as the first plates were delivered, he got into it. Pretty atmosphere. Service at Disney resorts is usually outstanding but our server was average. The noodles, dumplings and chicken wings were superb and I don't usually care for chicken wings. The pineapple coconut cake with ice cream and drizzled with caramel was fantastic and I don't usually care for coconut.
Breakfast Birthday Celebration
This used to be our must do for Disney dining. I have to say that since 2017, it just hasn’t been the best. We used to love the dinner, but then service seemed to go down and then the food quality seemed to follow. It started to feel like you were on a production line and they had to speed you through. But we decided to give breakfast another try as it was my daughter’s 16th birthday wish to have breakfast with Stitch. Our server was friendly and very observant of my son’s allergy. I greatly appreciated that. But the warm food items came out cool. The Mickey waffles had a very weird texture this time around. The staff were very good on the customer services this go around, but the food was just off. For the price point and to gain back its “must do” status, O’hana really needs to improve.
Not a good dinner value with no characters. Don’t bother if you have younger kids.
We stayed at the Polynesian and had dinner at ‘Ohana the evening we arrived, 4 adults with two children (3 and 6yo). This is a very expensive meal priced similar to character meals but without any characters, just a ukulele player. We were seated promptly and our server was very good. The food was served family style with more if you wanted. Dinner started with delicious bread and an ok garden salad. After that everything came so fast we barely had time to breathe much less chew and swallow. The table was over flowing with bowls making it hard to pass things around. Everyone liked the potstickers and wings, but the noodles are over hyped and rubbery, the steak was too tough to chew. I didn’t bother with the shrimp since it wasn’t peeled. The chicken was the only meat we all really enjoyed. Our server recognize our anniversary with a plate saying congratulations, including a flower and a few pretty candies. The warm bread pudding with ice cream was excellent. But so much wasted food!! So much rush (like the goal was to turn the table over quickly)!! And it cost so much money!!! We were not impressed. Not a great value and I would not do it again especially with young children. Might be fine for a couple of adults.
Exceeded expectations
We were looking forward to eating here but worried about the mixed reviews. Glad we still went as we had a great time and the food was fantastic! We enjoyed every dish including the giant bread pudding desert! So good I wish we could go again on our vacation but it’s sold out!
Amazing Food and Great Service!
The restaurant offered an all you can eat fixed menu! The food was really good and the waiter helping us was really great. The character meet and greet with Lilo and Stitch only happens at breakfast, buy I definitely recommend to go there for dinner since it is a whole different experience. There was live music throughout the night and the setting was really nice.
Really disappointed
We were really looking forward to this dining reservation and were so disappointed by the experience and unfortunately the majority of the disappointment was caused by the service we received, rather than the food or the atmosphere. I am plant based and my fiancé is not (which has not been a problem at any other Disney World family style restaurant). We made our server aware of this and asked if my fiancé could just have a smaller skillet, rather than the 4-person skillet they usually bring out to share. Our sever said something along the lines of ‘it wasn’t on your notes. It will be fine.’ which felt weird. Lo and behold, a huge skillet came out for my fiancé, which ultimately he couldn’t finish and resulted in a lot of food wastage, which is something we found really uncomfortable. There also wasn’t a plant based version for me at first, but we stopped another server who was really nice and didn’t make us feel like an inconvenience and he bought one out. My fiancé opted not to have his dessert because he couldn’t stomach it after the main meal and I think it would have been a nice touch for the server not to have charged us the full amount for his food in this case, as we did make it clear multiple times that we wanted a smaller skillet. In hindsight, I should have been more firm. Our server never explained anything about the meal, what was in the skillets or the fact that three more items would come out later on (why don’t they serve it all at once?! By the time the other items come, you’re too full). Looking back at the menu, I also didn’t receive half of my starter course. The whole experience just felt really uncomfortable and odd, which was a shame considering the food tasted good and everyone else we met (including the brilliant entertainer) were amazing. It was also on our notes that we were celebrating our engagement and our server didn’t mention it at all (not that we expect anything, it was just odd compared to every other dining experience we’ve had on property). I did provide some feedback on the way out, so hopefully it made it back and no one else will have this experience.
Quality food cooked to perfection and all served until you
Quality food cooked to perfection and all served until you say, Enough!. Never had a bad meal breakfast or dinner. Late night dining you can watch the fireworks from your window
Not worth it
There is no entertainment anymore. The food is dumped on you very quickly and not hot/fresh. Food is served well before your drinks. It seems as though you are bothering the servers if you ask for anything and very rushed. Any child over three is $40 and you do not get an experience only food. Very disappointing not worth it.
1000 times better than the last time
It had been years since our last visit to Ohana because it was not a good experience that last time. So when my son’s fiancée asked that we do in on our recent trip, I was very skeptical but we got the reservation anyway. Her parents were going to surprise her that day and we wanted a special place for dinner!! After all, Ohana means Family!!! Well it was AMAZING!!! From the salad, dumplings and noodles to all the meats!!! We all stuffed our faces, barely saving room for the scrumptious bread pudding. Every bite was so delicious!! Our servers were attentive and friendly!! We will definitely put it on our to do list for the next visit!!! Thanks for the magical dinner!!!
Not worth it, especially if Keith is your server
Keith our waiter was very unfriendly and seemed bothered to be doing his job. We didn't have any silverware for 2 people in our party until the long after we received the bread and the salad, no apology he just seemed annoyed to have to get us what we needed. The servings they dumped on our table hurriedly were not enough to feed our party of 6 adults and we were never asked if we would like more despite being advertised as an "all you care to enjoy" dinner. The entire experience which cost our party of 6 over $550 was rushed. We were never asked if we would like another drink or anything else for that matter. The food was decent but not worth the price tag especially with the horrible server.
Made a special Trip for the noodles.
Dry. Tasteless horrible. Not worth the time or the money.

Birthday trip to Disney World was epic.
I got to visit my nerd favorites and both my wife and I visited some really sought after restaurants. 'Obana is highly rated and located in the Polynesian Resort. We snagged a last minute early dinner reservation. Lines start to firm before their 4:30p opening. Tip: check in online versus standing at the check in desk. Food is served family style. Non-booze drinks are included. I ordered a diet soda. We ordered a bottle of Sav Blanc to celebrate. They start with a very generous selection of appetizers: noodles, dumplings, veggies, and wings. Moving on to the main dishes: chicken thighs, steak medallions. Ask for more if you want! This was lots of food. The food was fresh and hot since we did arrive as the first diners. We ended with desserts! Lots of food again! Service was the best. We really appreciated how responsive our server was. Lots of attention to us. She even served a nice platter of birthday treats: macaroon cookies and chocolates.
This was the best valued food at Disney World that we have
This was the best valued food at Disney World that we have ever gotten! The amount of food you get and the quality is amazing. The price is reasonable and it is all you can eat. I absolutely loved the ambiance and the staff was super sweet. You can also take your leftovers home if you eat too much so no food goes to waste. The steak and noodles were my fav but I would eat everything again. The dessert that is included too is so so amazing. We will definitely be back!
Ohana has gone way down hill.
I would say its on the borderline of uneatable. I would make reservations elsewhere!
The over all menu because it is long out dated!
Wow! you can not rate after 2023? Doesn't surprise me because Disney is blocking some things in this area and heavily. The last time was in 2023 and I rate it a one. Did not like the beef and the shrimp was over cooked. It is really a worn out venue for individuals who in the area for a long time. Ugh! We, now skip this or go to Kona.
This was my favorite Disney dining experience we've had.
We've done many character dining restaurants but the fun, happy, Hawaiian atmosphere was very enjoyable. We arrived earlier than our reservation but they were able to check us in. The food was good. The little parade the characters do around the restaurant was cute. Each character (Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, Pluto) visited our table and posed for pictures.
So yummy!!!!
Simply delicious. The drinks, the food, the desserts, and the service, everything was perfect. Great experience!!!!
Character Breakfast
We loved character breakfast! Food was delicious and the characters were fun! We have had dinner here in the past, but characters weren't present. Would definitely go for breakfast! A great start to a long park day!
This place was a wonderful dining experience! Once you walk
This place was a wonderful dining experience! Once you walk in the server greets you like family and they show you how the menu works. The ambiance is wonderful as it reminds me of a Hawaiian luau! You will get so much food and they are very fast paced so be ready! Any food item you want extra they will bring to you! It is very $$ but a one of a kind dining experience! I enjoyed the bbq wings ! They were so flavorful and delicious! Best wings ever!!
I had a great experience at this restaurant.
The food was OK but not much into Hawaiian food but the service was excellent.
Fave disney dining yet! This place did not disappoint.
Absolutely loved it the only issue was they didn't turn down the lights for fireworks and they RUSH YOU through dinner. They asked us if we were done appetizers and we had been sitting f for nine minutes. We were like you are going to need to slow this all down. Otherwise amazing.
Most Disappointing Restaurant of all Time
Most disappointing food and overall experience of all time. Why this is a top pick at WDW, I don’t know. Our first time here and I would rate the quality of the food a step above Golden Coral. Steak was tough, chicken was weirdly seasoned, shrimp unpeeled (really, for a $200 meal?!?). Salad out of a bag, dumplings straight out of Costco. They found a use for all the leftover bread by making a giant bread pudding for dessert which was probably the blandest, most boring dessert I’ve ever had. And I love bread pudding but thumbs down for this one. The Polynesian where this is located is so outdated it makes you laugh. The entertainment was lame, really no entertainment except a guy playing a ukulele. The service is just a slop fest where they bring you a bowl of everything and you serve yourself. Waiter comes by occasionally. This is just an “upscale”, meaning price only Disney Buffeteria. Food is just as bad as any Disney food establishment. The hostess was bitchy hidden behind a fake Disney smile. It was my husband that wanted to go based on YouTube’s he watched. Well, no thanks to the person that created the video and no thanks to Disney who cannot seem to do better in the food department. I wasn’t expecting much based on my experience eating in all the park restaurants and many Disney hotels. I was right. Don’t fall for it just because it is so hard to get a reservation. It doesn’t mean it’s good. Save your hard earned money somewhere else.
Awful!!
Ohana was always one of my favorite restaurants. We just went last night and the meal was well below average. I thought I was eating pasta with syrup and the wings were all bones and way overcooked. PLEASE do not waste your money. I would say McDonald’s is 5 star compared to this! When I mentioned to the server she just shrugged her shoulders and not seem to care. Save your money!!
'Ohana dinner
I have to say that 'Ohana for dinner for my family has always been a must. I was a little worried this year with quite a few negative reviews. We ended up having a wonderful dinner. We all thought the food was delicious. The service was wonderful. I gave a 4 star because of the half hour wait after our reservation time and the price....yikes! No one could even eat half their moneys worth and there is not the ability to take leftovers that in essence, you paid for. If you don't mind the cost, I would definitely try and snag a reservation. It is still a family favorite, but if the price continues to increase, as everything Disney related, we may unfortunately have to change that "tradition".

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!
Worked flawlessly!
Worked so well! I was a bit nervous, but everything went very smoothly. purchased the reservation, and got into the restaurant seamlessly.
Love this app!
So glad I came across this app :)
Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here
Prime time, great meal
So easy and had a prime time which I can never seem to get on normal res apps. So worth it
Got impossible NYC res
instead of waiting weeks I got my 4 charles reservation instantly
Worked perfectly to get into Carbone. So delighted
perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil

Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
