A Eclectic Set Of Culinary Options,
Norma's is located inside the stunning Parker hotel. An open-air patio restaurant serving 'all day' breakfast with a large supply of brunch staples. Omelets, pancakes, French toast and more are some of the morning goodies while I relished the huevos. rancheros. An eclectic set of culinary options, Norma provides gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and California fresh entree's.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible service
Agree with all the other reviews, the atmosphere is lovely but the service is laughably bad. From calling the front desk to the hostess to the wait staff - no one seems to want to work there or know anything. For the prices they charge, including $10 to simply book a reservation I would expect stellar service. The food was very average and certainly no better than what you'd find at Farm or any other breakfast place. Will definitely not return

Always a happy experience coming here. We live nearby and like enjoying breakfast in the open air greenery of this funky but fun restaurant. The staff is cordial, professional and efficient. We've tried many of the offerings at one time or another and haven't ever had a bad experience. We brought friends to dine here over the holidays and they loved it too. It's a special place, tucked away just a mile from our PSP home. Love it!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food for crazy price
Tastes were amazing and often off the charts adventures. Glad we did it, knew it was an experience but it’s still 20% too expensive for what it is.
Be the first to ReplyVery poor experience
The setting is nice and the food was pretty good. However, the prices are very high for breakfast, and the service and dining experience were the worst I’ve experienced in the last five years. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.
Be the first to ReplyLovely restaurant
The restaurant is incredible but the food is not what we can expect from a luxurious hotel. The eggs Benedict came without the bacon… hopefully the staff is very friendly and professional. The French toast are very good!
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful spot in Palm Springs, sub-par food at very high prices
Beautiful hotel, great ambience. The complimentary smoothie was nice, but don’t bother with the food here. Restaurant was not busy, but it took almost 45 minutes and nearly $100 with tax and tip for two stale waffles and 2 cups of coffee. Waitress was pleasant but spilled coffee on me. No longer allowed to tour the beautiful hotel grounds around the restaurant, you will be stopped by a guard if you try. Apparently dining at Norma’s for ridiculously high prices does not qualify you for the privilege.

Absolutely amazing brunch spot. The food here is unreal, it is so good and the atmosphere in here is so cute. Our server Benjamin was awesome, definitely would recommend checking out Norma's for a meal!
Be the first to ReplyMind boggling….
Tuesday night. Sufficient amount of staff. Mediocre service. Less than mediocre food. Ordered vegan tacos, eggs & bacon, fresh tuna Cobb salad, vegan banana pancakes, martini, three glasses of wine. The food was so bland and thoughtless we thought…”Maybe we have covid and lost our ability to taste?” (But we went home and ate, so that wasn’t the case.) Anyway, $300 later and, like I said, we are scrounging around in our fridge. Never wrote a restaurant review before, but this experience warranted one…big time. Sorry Norma.
Be the first to ReplyMeh.
Beautiful charming environment and the people watching is fun. What is lacking is enjoyable meals and inventive drinks.
Be the first to ReplyAvoid like a dodgy mac n cheese if you don’t want to be poisoned and lied to!
Had the disappointing lobster mac and then promptly got extremely bad food poisoning and was feverish and vomiting for more than a day. Ruined a significant portion of our holiday in Palm Springs. Was offered a refund, which I then had to chase three times. I was told it had been refunded on the day I made the complaint and took time as an international payment. After my third chase, it became clear that no one had tried to refund me because they still needed to confirm my credit card details. I would have simply been fobbed off if I hadn’t followed it through out of principle. Terrible business practices in my opinion. The whole experience left an extremely bad taste… and that was long after all the vomiting from their food.
Be the first to ReplyNothing Normal about Norma's
We ate outside in the covered patio and it was fabulous. My wife had the lobster salad and I had the Caesar salad with shrimp. The food was outstanding and the service was top notch. Our waiter, Benjamin, could not have been nicer. Very interesting place and filled with interesting people.
Be the first to ReplyExpensive but excellent brunch
Norma's is located in the Parker Hotel, which goes over-the-top with desert modern styling. The restaurant is inside but has an enclosed patio (the entire property is a bit hidden from the public, though I was not a hotel guest and was welcomed at the restaurant). You know they take the brunch seriously when they start with a free smoothie shot. The menu has a large selection of very interesting but also very expensive items - $25 for a waffle! I selected bruleed oatmeal; a huge serving with incredible presentation that included cooked pear slices. Oatmeal is boring but this was delicious. Instead of chocolates or mints with the check, they brought candied orange slices, which was an interesting touch (I think I would have preferred chocolates). They also brew a whole pot of coffee and leave it at the table so I could keep refilling a cup with hot coffee at my leisure, which I really liked.
Be the first to ReplyOverpriced and Overrated
Today we visited Norma's for brunch. Although we had a reservation, there was an issue seating us. Eventually we sat. In reviewing the menu found the prices to be outrageous (and I live in NY City). Service was excellent and place is very nice but totally not worth the cost. I had a vegetable Omelet for $29 - it was greasy and under seasoned. Other family members said the same thing about their food. My wife had the Cobb Salad that she said was very good. Coffee was also good but not worth $6. Also, you need to pay $12 to park - ridiculous! I am sure there are better, less expensive restaurants in the area.

If you are going to palm springs you have to have breakfast at Norma's. It is so beautiful and colorful...a real happy place. The service was perfection and the food was outstanding. I really cant say enough about this place. I wish I had time to eat there twice. Egg Benedict was the best!!!!
Be the first to ReplyReservation Nightmare . . .
Made a reservation for brunch on Wednesday March 16th for Sunday March 20th. The Hotel uses a system called "Peak" and the site requires a $20.00 deposit. Made the reservation and received a confirmation of the charge, with no other details. Called the Hotel on the 19th and was told, "no reservation". Called back after looking for the credit card confirmation and was told, all was okay. On Sunday morning two of the four people invited attempted to go in and were told to wait on the street because there was no reservation. When I arrived, showed the individual the snapshot from the credit card company was told, that wasn't proof of a reservation, please call the front desk. Called the front desk and the individual indicated there was a reservation. The person outside said they do not have the peak reservation system and must rely on a printed sheet from the hotel to check in guests/diners. We finally got in ONLY to be told by the hostess, 'no reservation'. Went up to the front desk and was told by an individual that they had no idea what I was talking about when I said the reservation was made through 'Peak' . . . spoke with someone else, went back to the hostess and she said that since this was a 'special occasion' (birthday brunch) she would seat us. The hostess was very nice. The server was nice, service was 'leisure' and food okay. The hostess came up halfway through the meal and asked if we had a reservation for Monday, 21st? I don't know what to say, except this was horrible experience that put a damper on the birthday celebration. I will never go back to the restaurant or the hotel. I just wonder what the $20 fee was for....
Be the first to ReplyFantastic place for brunch
Norma’s was a delightful place. The ambiance was so cute and eclectic. Blueberry pancakes were the best. Jose’s service was good and he gave us suggestions and they were all good.
Be the first to ReplyPretty good food but experience left a bad taste in my mouth
This is my second time staying at The Parker and probably my 5th time eating at Norma’s. Food is pretty good, nothing terribly innovative and it’s obviously on the expensive side for what it is (you’re paying for the location though… which is beautiful)… cocktails are good and more reasonably priced. But generally the breakfast is solid & the portions are generous. I love the Crab Louis salad and the bacon is great.
Now for the bad part… the service. We had very unpleasant experience during breakfast at Norma’s with the host. When we arrived my boyfriend asked to sit at the outside table we sat at the previous morning (which was open) and he told us, somewhat shortly, that it was for larger parties (it was a four top). As he went to sit us at a two top on the banquet I asked if we could have the corner (which was set for two!)…. And he said “I can’t give you the corner” very snappily with no explanation. Within a 5 minutes of us sitting down another couple came in and requested the original table we asked for and we’re immediately seated. There are multiple 2 tops open. Don’t appreciate being treated like second class guests (mind you we are also hotel guests). The service here has been impeccable but not sure why this couple was given these seats and we were not (when we specifically asked for them)… and why the host was generally short and rude with us.
Style over content
We booked weeks in advance for this. It started so well with a little shot of fruit smoothie The menu was fun and we were full of anticipation We left extremely disappointed. I think they forgot our order. We waited and waited about 45 minutes and eventually asked where our food was and then It arrived - the tuna burger was inedible, the omelette was ordinary and they forgot our fruit plate There seemed to be an extreme shortage of waiting staff It was expensive and beware the parking charge. All in all a disappointing experience
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful setting and great service.
I love this place, yes it’s expensive but it’s a high-end hotel.
Anthony was charming, the food was delicious (as usual) nothing to complain about here.
This place is a gem!
A Very Special Little Gem
Fabulous service, extensive menu with unique offerings. I had the Crunchy French Toast and it was completely delicious. Brioche coated with rice crispies and caramel sauce with a creme brulee torched finish. Loved it.
Norma's is in the Parker-Palm Springs hotel. A funky style, elegant little gem. The property is gated and you may only gain access with a reservation and a covid vaccine card. The hotel guests have complete privacy. The staff is personable and very attentive. By all means a special little gem
Excellent Brunch but annoyed at not being able to see the hotel grounds
Over the top furnishings as you enter a drive way and have a twelve dollar parking fee ( I guess you could walk over). Honestly, the furnishings while having a sense of humor are not to my taste- but Norma;s is simple enough and beautifuly performed. Excellent service, and a lot of beautiful people watching ( especially for some reason a lot of table full of young women enjoying each other;s company). My omelete was good but could have been better with just a little sauce on the inside- yes, it was chock full of lovely chicken and mushrooms- but without some kind of sauce it was too try. Our fruit drinks were great- my husband loved his eggs benedict and it seemed like the perfect Palm Springs moment. You will need a reservation in advance though- this does seem to be a place " to be". I would have liked to have taken a look at the grounds- we are coming back in a few weeks and I also write up everywhere I go and then go back and look at my notes for a romantic travel book- but there was no way to do it on the moment. I am supposed to contact the generakl manager for that- but I don't know if I am that committed. There are other places to see and write up. Still, for lunch, I do recommend it.
Be the first to ReplyMemorable Brunch w/Great Service
We had a lovely brunch. The portions are large with fun & unique menu options. We loved the Crunchy French Toast which tastes a lot like a Churro and would be ideal for sharing as it is decadent. Upstream Benny, Belgian Waffle and ChocChip Pancakes were also delicious. The atmosphere is lovely & relaxing and we enjoyed the hotel lobby as well. The service was excellent and our waiter was so generous with advice and tips for the rest of our trip. We would put this high on the list of things to do when we return to Palm Springs.

This hip spot in set in a beautiful garden area and the food matches the beauty of the property. Service was excellent and the brunch was superb. The whole experience is a must when traveling to Palm Springs.
Be the first to ReplyI love this place!
We went to brunch at Norma's and it was really great. We sat outside and, being from Seattle, the sunny, bright ambiance was just wonderful. The food is pretty good, not amazing. The service was great.
