Nola, the Restaurant of Our Heart!
Always great food, service, and atmosphere! We have been here multiple times and it never disappoints. Our favs are the voodoo chicken and the big easy. 😊
Lunch with mom
Good food, good atmosphere, good times. Too my mom to lunch, she really enjoyed herself and she ACTUALLY ate her food. That speaks volumes to me!
Great Po Boys!
Daren did a fantastic job taking care of us. He kept my drink topped off annd service was quick. The po boy was absolutely delicious!
Delicious Gumbo
The food was delicious and service was excellent. Food was hot in temperature and the drinks were cold. Daren took good care of us!

100% recommend! I have been to New Orleans twice and Nola's is forever better. Best beignets ever. And their staff is hot so that's a plus. recommend their Gumbo!

Their voodoo chicken is our clear favorite out of everything we have tried and we love getting their happy hour oysters. We had a 20 minutes wait yesterday around 8:30pm on a Friday night. They took down my number and texted me when a table is available.
This is my 2nd birthday celebration here.
Every time we come here the food is on point, the drinks are on point, and the service is always great. Love coming here! We typically get something different every time we come, and everything is delicious, seriously. But I think I have found my dish, the Voodoo Chicken! Is the best!!

Great food and great service! The crawfish is amazing and was great in both the gumbo & po boy! 5/5
Ambiance is excellent! Clean unique/just super nice.
Service was attentive without being intrusive. Food was a 8 out of nine. The table seasoning.. ask for some to go! Will be back
Really nice ambiance, cool architecture, local spot.
I just got the Voodoo Chicken that EVERYBODY gets here. It appeared that it was excellent, except for me it was a little bit heavy. The waitress recommended getting the Blackened Snapper and just getting that voodoo style The same way the voodoo chicken is prepared and I wish I did that but overall delicious. You want awesome Southern Fried food and steaks and everything ... look at the menu. This place is amazing. Unless you're like on a diet then go eat some f****** Jenny Craig or some s*** but this place is amazing. Don't pass it up. Highly recommend this place.

6 of us had lunch in the Napoleon Room, a beautifully decorated room. Our server was attentive without being obnoxious. All the food came out in a timely fashion. I ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken was breaded and pounded very thin. Very thin. Wish it had been not been as thin but it was good. The waffle was great. A very small side of fruit was included. We like Nola's.

Wow!!! We had the fried gator, Voodoo chicken with fried green beans, and Mardi gras chicken. Wow!! This was all amazing! Some of the best Cajuns food I have ever had! A must go to if in Tulsa!

This place is fantastic: the food, the ambience, and service are worth experiencing over and over again! I hadn't been here for nearly 4 years, but it was top of the list for my birthday dinner on my Tulsa weekend trip. The hurricanes were the best I'd ever experienced and were recommended by our waitress. I loved that they were a little tart and the fresh fruit made them stand out. I brought six friends and everyone raved about their experience. There was something on the menu for everyone. They said provided a complementary dessert and we loved their bread pudding. Parking is not too plentiful, but we had someone who was confident parking in tight spots.
My favorite place beside Gibbys.
Voodoo chicken is on fire. Shrimp and grits was delicious as well.
Run do not stop.
... Absolutely the worst fake New Orleans food knock off I ever tried to eat. Tulsa y'all deserve so much better. Not one thing I ordered was edible. You would do better going to Walmart and getting a frozen Zataran's dinner then the stuff they serve here. They gave me a jambalaya that looked like some kind of soupy greased filled over spiced salty mess. They put ham into every dish (not used in New Orleans) and I was told it was all premade that morning so there was no option for ham free entrees. My friend order the gumbo. Guess what.. yep just as nasty. And it had ham meat too?? Want a better gumbo? Get yourself a can of progresso Chicken and Sausage gumbo. Much better flavor and way more authentic than this place. Then they offered some their take on beignets? I laughed as soon as I saw them. They were dense like a biscuit but with out the flavor and was served with a dipping sauce??? This place is a totally overpriced and is an epic failure at anything about New Orleans. And yes I did grow up down there. This place needs to change its name. That is false advertising. The only good thing was the waitress. She was amazing. I won't ever go back here again.
Let me tell you we made a reservation for my daughters
Let me tell you we made a reservation for my daughters wedding and this was my first time and family also the food is amazing if you like food from New Orleans this is the place you can't go rong with what ever you order my hole family shared, so we can all try the food and it was out of this world it is expensive but worth it if you are in downtown Tulsa this the place and the service is fast I give this place 10 stars it's a must go

Great food, ambiance, and service!! I always get my favorite drink and shrimp and grits. I don't care what anyone tells you, Nola's has the best shrimp and grits in Tulsa & probably Oklahoma. Our service is always good, and Kenny was really okay this time around.
I loved everything about Nola's.
Voodoo Chicken & Maque Choux are both excellent. Service was top notch & I can't wait to go back.
The ambiance, service, staff and food were all wonderful!
The ambiance, service, staff and food were all wonderful! It's hard to find staff anymore that have a heart to serve and you will find that here. Everyone was very professional. Drinks were delicious, food was pretty good! It wasn't overpriced, and portions were just right! Most importantly the restaurant was clean! I'd definitely come back.

After my maps app FINALLY knew how to direct me to the parking lot (easy to find while driving but somehow technology is stumped again), I parked easily and went right in. Food was fantastic! Had the alligator bites, the gumbo, the jambalaya, and the skewers over two nights at dinner and everything was fantastic!!! Highly recommended!
Always get the muffuletta salad when I go for lunch there.
If you add the jalapeño vodka Bloody Mary, it puts it over the top. Friendly and knowledgeable servers, busy place always but can usually accommodate with minimal wait. Love this restaurant!
As soon as we walked in, we felt like we had gone back in
As soon as we walked in, we felt like we had gone back in time and were in New Orleans. The food and service were great. The crab cakes were different than in Boston, but equally tasty in a creole sauce. Voodoo Chicken was great and the shrimp n grits superb. We really enjoyed the dining experience.
We went for lunch service on a weekday.
Food was reasonably priced, no wait for seating, cute restaurant. We all found our meals DELICIOUS. We are already planning to go back for dinner service.
Seems like we always choose Nola's for happy occasion
Seems like we always choose Nola's for happy occasion celebrations. This time, however, I had to drop them a star. And not even for the worn out, ripped booth seats with all patrons crammed into same It was hubby's b'day. ( they were aware of this) We know how he loves his occasional fried platter and bread pudding. Perhaps it's all those years engineering in Cajun country and offshore. I've gone with him to Cajun country and it's party time with food, food, food. We've known one New Orleans waitress for 20 years. We've had chef's table seats at Emeril's. Our farewell dinner for our son going to Loyola was Delmonico's. So we may be a tad prejudiced. Look at that salad! Beautiful and the vinaigrette may be the best I've ever had. I have no idea why I failed to take a picture of my Voo Doo chicken which I highly recommend. "Two Cajun-fried chicken breasts topped with shrimp and jumbo lump crab in a mornay sauce. Served with cheese grits and choice of one side." Chicken, perfect; sauce, perfect; nice shrimp. The 2-3 tablespoons of grits were quite tasty. But. . . . where's my crab? "Jumbo lump crab". When I inquired, I rec'd 2-3 tablespoons of crab. It tasted fine. Maybe it's just me, but a table spending $100+ on a bottle of wine deserves better attention. Wine? I find the wine list wanting. I usually adore Russian River Valley Chards. It's an easy order. Well, when it arrived the label claimed Sonoma. But that's okay. " located in greater Sonoma County, the RRV appellation has long been synonymous with elegant Pinot noir and Chardonnay ". I've seen the Sonoma label hiding the fact that it's RRV. However, not this time. It was okay, just not what I'm use to from RRV or my preferences. Reasor's has a great one for less than $20. Daughter said her Maque Choux was great but her shrimp, slightly over cooked. But I'd still recommend. Pick and choose. Read reviews.
The Voodoo Chicken is one of the best meals I have ever had.
The atmosphere was good and the service was great. 10/10

The voodoo chicken is absolutely amazing!!! I've been here a handful of times and every time service is great! Our food has always been so good, don't sleep on the dessert either. Perfect ambience for a date night or girls dinner.
Cute place where happy hour starts at 2pm!!! We got here
Cute place where happy hour starts at 2pm!!! We got here right on time. We chose to sit outside where they do have fans and music playing outside. Relaxing vibe and menu was lunch but also had happy hour specials. They had oysters so I had to get they were $1 each. Then also got the chicken sandwich while my mom got the crab cakes and dirty rice and fried green tomatoes. Oysters were huge and delicious. I enjoyed my chicken sandwich. My mom's crab cakes were good but I'm used to Maryland crab cakes with giant meat pieces inside so not my fave but still hit the craving. The dirty rice and fried green tomatoes were the stars. Our server was amazing funny attentive and always filled our drinks as well. Loved this place and would come back again!
The crab cakes are the best I've ever had.
Our waitress was nice and being able to sit outside on the patio even in February, with the heaters on, was very cool.
The food was amazing.
Service excellent. Look forward to going back. We went for a late lunch & it wasn't too busy.

Their gulf oysters are refreshing! I love eating in every part of this restaurant, from the bar to the covered patio, it's a great vibe. The servers know the menu very well & are attentive if an issue arises! The surf and turf ($56 MP) was probably an all time favorite! This was the biggest lobster tail we've had, & we travel often! The Cajun butter was perfect with it... I let mine soak for awhile. The fettuccine Alfredo was like 3 meals in 1 for only $16!!! Their brunch and drink menu is also extensive, creative, & very flavorful! This is a great spot for group events, date nights, or just appetizers!
The Food was amazing Service was good Ambiance was great .
I would definitely recommend and will be going again
For the price? I've had better and better authentic
For the price? I've had better and better authentic selection. It's not a bad place, and maybe we just went when it was super busy, but it was extremely noisy, they had all the sports tvs showing the same channel.

My server tonight, Aaron, was amazing! He was super attentive and personable. The menu selection was incredible, and I ordered the ratatouille which was delicious. I think the prices were a little high but you really get a wonderful experience at a great restaurant. Despite how fancy the restaurant looks, the dress code is super casual -- some people were wearing t-shirts and shorts even! The chocolate cake for dessert was also delicious -- definitely enough to share with 3-4 people. I'll definitely be back for a nice date night or celebration!

Im very disappointed, it took at least half an hour for me to be able to get my food. it was a dissaster. I found a fly in my food I do not recommend, I now have worms this is a health concern I'm definitely sueing!

I hate to give this review but tonight our experience at this restaurant sucked! The waitress got our order wrong. She had the personality of a broomstick. We ordered the Voodoo chicken. Incredibly overcooked & dry (disgusting)! Bread was also stale! Get some quality control here or employees who give a shit !
We enjoyed dinner here recently.
We started off being seated in the prohibition room and it was so awesome. The vibe of the whole restaurant was amazing! Very speak easy type... our server was amazing! He went above and beyond helping us pick drinks and food. He had the best attitude towards his job which was very much appreciated! All the food was cooked to perfection and the drinks were so yummy! We're excited to go back and try other menu items.

We ordered to-go today.
We wanted to try a restaurant that we wouldn't have near us in California. We found Nola's. We loved it when you walked into the bar downstairs; it had a really cool, calm vibe that could be reminiscent of the prohibition era. Unfortunately, we did not order drinks because we took our food to-go. We ordered three orders of the beignets to share. We ordered the Cocodrie Fried Alligator to share. For entrees, we ordered the DEEP-FRIED BABY BACK RIBS, FETTUCCINE O'FREDO, KID'S FETTUCCINE ALFREDO, and the HAUNTED HOUSE SALAD. I ordered the HAUNTED HOUSE SALAD because I knew that I would eat beignets and I didn't want to overclog my arteries. The Haunted House Salad was not exactly what I expected because I had to pull out wilted leaves, and the tomato and cucumber were not so fresh, but the croutons were delicious, and I rarely eat croutons. The beignets were very dense, but we drove for 12 minutes after the food was ready to take home. My nephew loved the fried alligator, but I think that I like the fried alligator pizza in San Francisco better than eating it fried. The girls felt that the mac and cheese was good. So, we will have to try this restaurant again when we come back to OK.
Truly dissatisfied.
We don’t understand the positive reviews. We had high expectations, none of which were met. Our issues: - the table wasn’t clean when we were seated, and it was obvious. We had to ask to have it wiped down. - waitstaff asked for our drink order, but we hadn’t been given a drink menu. - placed our order, only to have waitstaff come back and tell us they were out of one of our entrees - ordered an appetizer that never came (we weren’t charged) - pacing was ridiculously fast. Entrees served minutes after salads. They were asking us for dessert orders 30 minutes after sitting down. - if the food would have made up for it, ok, but it was just fair We don’t post negative reviews often. This one is deserved.
Excellent Restaurant
Food was very good. Oysters on the half shell were large and really good. Happy hour food & drinks were fantastic. Our waiter Blue was very friendly & provided excellent service. We will be going back next time we travel to Tulsa.
First experience dining at Nola’s. Hope to have many more!!
The food was beyond outstanding. Voodoo chicken was so good. The chicken was amazingly tender, and shrimp was perfectly cooked as well. Our server, Tyler was superb A+++++. The whole experience was wonderful. Can’t wait to come back.
Southern Bliss at Nola's
Nola's Creole and Cocktails in Tulsa, OK, is an absolute delight that transported me to the heart of the South with its charming atmosphere and mouthwatering offerings. The moment I stepped in, the beautiful decor captivated me – a perfect fusion of vibrant colors and intricate details that set the stage for a memorable dining experience. Let's talk about the star of the menu, the Voodoo Chicken. This dish was nothing short of a flavor symphony. The fried chicken breast achieved that ideal crispiness, and the rich, creamy sauce was a heavenly blend of seafood that elevated the dish to new heights. It was a harmonious dance of textures and flavors that left my taste buds singing. To accompany the delectable meal, I ventured into uncharted cocktail territory with the "Penicillin." This classic concoction was a pleasant surprise, a well-balanced blend of flavors that complemented the Southern charm of Nola's. Sipping on this delightful drink added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. And then there were the beignets – a sweet treat that rounded off the experience perfectly. Light, fluffy, and generously dusted with powdered sugar, these little delights were a delightful finale to an already fantastic meal. Nola's Creole and Cocktails isn't just a restaurant; it's a journey through the soul of the South. The enchanting decor, the flavorful Voodoo Chicken, the surprising Penicillin cocktail, and the scrumptious beignets collectively create an experience that lingers long after you leave. I highly recommend Nola's to anyone looking for a taste of Southern charm and culinary bliss in Tulsa. Cheers to Nola's for creating an atmosphere that feels like a warm embrace in the heart of the South!
Rude Greeters, but good food....
My wife and I met 10 other family members for an early lunch, 11am. As usual, we were about 10 minutes early. The 5 door greeters all said hello and welcomed us to Nola's. I told them that we were a party of 12...the tone immediately changed. They explained that until we had 80% of our crew there, we wouldn't be seated....we were told to wait outside (temp was 42 degrees) or go to the bar and that they don't have a lobby and we can't wait there. By this point, they knew where we were going to sit but repeated that we can't wait for our family in the entry. I said that if you know where we are going to sit then take us there. Nope, go to the bar or leave, was the response. I was completely taken off guard by their rudeness. My wife left and waited in the car.....I walked down to the bar area and just stood there.... For a party of 12, who by the way, spend over $1,000 on food and drinks, there should be a better process. The food and wait staff were fantastic. Maybe some customer service training for the young people in your entry could improve the customer experience. I work in healthcare and we strive to create a positive customer experience so that people feel welcome and want to use our service again. I will give Nola's one more try....not sure about my wife....
Lunch at Nola's
Had a business lunch yesterday at Nola's. I've been to Nola's on several occasions, but it was for dinner, never for lunch. 3 of us had the shrimp Po 'boy and Cajun fries. 2 had the voodoo chicken, and 2 had the chicken Alfredo pasta. All of the meals were excellent. The service was great with us being checked on throughout the meal and our drinks refilled before being asked. My buddy had just been to Nola's weekend brunch and said it was great also. Nola's has many good & great reviews for a reason. Never disappoints.
Pleasant Surprise
This was such a pleasant surprise to find fine dining and comfort food together. The place was tastefully decorated and the service was on point. We were served by a nice young lady named Sam. The food and drinks were delightful.
