Poke Nachos are a must
New Realm came highly recommended and we are so pleased we took a trip over. We had a flight of beer, a pizza and the Poke Nachos. They were more than happy to make alterations to the dishes to make them dairy free, they offered vegan cheese for the pizza but we prefer not to have any cheese. The beer was exceptional, plenty of choice. The Poke Nachos had the perfect balance of flavours, sweet, spicy, fresh and crunchy. The best flavour combination we’ve had so far.

Tried to get into a few places on a busy Saturday night to eat and ended up here instead. I actually found this brewery on Bring Fido while looking for dog friendly places to take my Pug. Ended up not taking her that night because it was dark and a little chilly, but this place was beautiful! There was so much going on that night - a wedding reception inside at a side room, dinner service inside, and outside they were doing a viewing of Hocus Pocus so the place was packed. BUT we were seated right away at nearly 8pm with no problem. Staff was friendly and courteous. The atmosphere was perfect. The place was super busy but wasn’t overly crowded and was very clean. We ordered on tap beers and an appetizer. Pretzel was huge and worth the cash. Burgers and sandwiches were rest too. Definitely glad to have found this place! So big and beautiful!

We visited this beautiful spot and can't wait to return next year! It had rained earlier, so we did not sit outside, but we want to be able to enjoy the beautiful patio area and fire pits next time. Our group enjoyed flights and a delicious meal of appetizers and sandwiches and my favorite was the New Realm Orange Crush, which I can't get at home in NY!

Started with the pretzel and it was alright. Enjoyed the new realm burgers and smores dessert. Really liked the Tripel and orange crush. Even brought a can of Tripel home as it was very good. Pleasant and accommodating service.
Be the first to ReplySome really good beers here.
Very large place with live bands and some great beers. We had a couple flights of their lighter beers. Some good and some . . .so-so, but a great atmosphere. If you like beer, this is worth a stop.

This was a little ways out from the resort area of Va. Beach (out in the vicinity of Oceana) so the ride was a little longer than expected. When we first arrived we came in the back side and I was not impressed-Just another microbrewery in an industrial park. However, once we got around to the front my opinion totally changed. Plenty of space, although parking was tight. This was a Wedneday evening and they had a band playing and plenty of lawn space and seating to enjoy the band. Really started to appreciate the band-hey, anyone that can take a House of Pain song and turn it into a Southern Rock style I am ok with. The lead singer used-I think-A chapman stick for several songs (been almost 20 years since I have seen one, but believe this is what he was using. There were also about 10-12 arts and crafts booths set up. There is inside seating as well, but there is a bar outside with about 15 beers on tap at a given time. A lot of IPA's , but finally found a Munich Dunkel that is more my taste. My wife is not that big on microbreweries, but I think I can talk her in to coming back to this one. Also an area for dogs and for kids to play so that may help if you bring your family.

Visited the brewery and was impressed with the size of it with tons of space outside and inside to hangout. Having a gluten allergy of course makes it a little less fun as was not a huge fan of the hard seltzer (citrus). My New Realm burger was so so but Caesar salad (minus croutons) was great!

Place is huge! Outdoor seating, inside tables, high tops, standing. Looks to have a great concert lineup. Good beer selection. Service was pretty good. Food was tasty and fast.

Great local brewery with a large selection of beers to taste, along with an extensive menu for a great lunch or dinner. We visited on a rainy day, so sat inside which was quite busy. There is also a large outdoor seating for when the weather is clear. Although for a wine drinker like myself, I had to settle for iced tea as the designated driver which everyone else from our group enjoyed!

Great beer and food. At first I was nervous because it was so darn crowded on a Thursday night! I dreaded long waits for service but these people really have their act together. Went to the outside bar for beers, no waiting, and we got a table for 6 outside. Later we ordered food, which came to our table within 20 minutes. The smash burger and fries were delicious! When the lights came on that decked the huge trees it was magical

This place is huge and I love the wide selection of beer available. I was pretty interested in the dragon logo that is the face of the brewery and I liked that there was a back story of it painted on the wall. A few areas I feel like could use some improvements would be the cornhole and the food options. The cornhole boards had seen better days and the bags that came with them were inconsistent in the weight. Not all the cornhole bags were identical. As for for the food options, I feel like most breweries have some really cool options as far as the different burgers they offer. This place was kind of bare bones in that area. Even other options on the menu weren't really all that eye catching. The emphasis is obviously on the beer which is the main reason why anyone will be coming here but it shouldn't be the only aspect that gets all the attention. I noticed there was a stage outside. I'd love to come back and watch a concert while enjoying some beer.

We thought the 4 of us would try The New Realm Brewing on a Sunday night around 7 pm. You could tell it was a favorite among the locals. Although there were lots of people outside and music playing, we chose inside, in air conditioning, and were seated within a few minutes. Our waiter was very attentive and brought appetizers and drinks quickly. For a shared starter, we had the Baked Maryland Crab Dip ($13). My son-in-law had a lot of fun with the beer flight selections. (Actually, we all tried them). Would highly recommend this. I had the half smoked chicken with a beer glaze, with garlic potatoes and string beans ($16). Excellent. I think one got the Wagyu burger ($13) , and the other a crab cake sandie on a brioche bun ($15). We all enjoyed our meals and would return on a future visit.

Great food and beer!! We had enough beach time and it was raining one day and we found this to be a great retreat for the adults. Large party seating, great food and big pours for flights. It was a great place for laughs with friends.

We've gone to New Realm every visit to VB the last few years and even brought our 22 year old son who really enjoyed the food as well as the tastings. Neither of us like IPAs but there were plenty of other offerings to enjoy and they were awesome. His favorite was United Craft Lager and I liked the Euphonia Pilsner and the hard seltzers. My husband liked Hazy Like a Fox and Hoptropolis and last September we tried their Oktoberfest and brought a crowler home with us to NY. Shame you can't buy their beer up here, because it is something we'd definitely buy.
The outdoor seating during COVID has been great and we saw families with young children and/or their dogs out enjoying themselves.
The food is great too! Their Asian Loaded Fries are off the hook and the Bavarian Pretzel with the Beer Queso is a good pairing with the beer.
The guys ordered the WAGYU burgers and said they are fantastic and I tried the Beyond Burger and was surprised at how much like a beef burger it was. I'll be having it again.
Can't wait till our visit again this summer - we're looking forward to trying some of the new menu items, as well as any beers we haven't tried yet.
Nice atmosphere and good beer!
One of the largest breweries I’ve been to, large outdoor seating area as well. Great for groups and TVs to watch sports. Nice beer selection as well this was one of out first stops on our trip to Virginia Beach. The staff was also friendly and service was quick! We went pretty early so we were one of the first people there that day so it was not busy at all.
Be the first to ReplyFun for the whole family including pups
This is a great hangout especially during COVID because it’s super easy to stay socially distant. There are plenty of outdoor picnic tables and tons of beers to try! If you ask for a sample they will let you try it prior to ordering a glass. Dog friendly as well so bring your well behaved pup!
Be the first to ReplyGOOD VARIETY OF BREWS
I had several 5-ounce pours, each priced separately. I tried IPAs, stouts, porters, among other brews. I like ales, but there weren't any of those to try. I most liked the porter, which had good flavor and alcohol. I'm not big on IPAs or sours.
