Great food, horrible service. Didn’t bring out the drink I ordered though it was on the bill and had to get them to change it. Service staff did not really seem interested in making sure we had what we needed.
I popped into Nama for the first time last week around 12
I popped into Nama for the first time last week around 12 noon to grab a quick bite and sat at the bar. Super friendly and fun bartender took my order. A regular customer and another first-timer showed up and also sat at the bar. Had the best time chatting with the other two women. I ordered a bourbon cocktail, 2 pcs of eel sushi, two rolls off the lunch menu (which came with miso soup and a salad!) and tasted a bite of sushi ceviche which was offered up by my new friend sitting next to me at the bar (she literally insisted I try the ceviche and it was amazing). The fish is very fresh with no "fishy" taste or smell. The lunch specials are a pretty good deal. My total bill was about $50. Great variety of wines and beer. Interesting note on the cocktail menu there is a "bartender's choice" which is whatever cocktail the bartender chooses to make for you. It's like a grab bag for alcohol. Looking forward to my next visit to Nama to try that ceviche dish again.

I am local and have been eating at Nama’s a long time, last night we ate, paid our bill and about 10 minutes later, we were ask by the manager Juan to leave since we had paid, first off, that was embarrassing, second since when do u have to leave just because u paid the bill, was told when we ask for the check a timeline starts, I told him we didn’t ask for the check, the waiter just brought it, never in my life have I been ask to leave a restaurant since we paid the bill, we did a girls night since the guys were gone and it was pouring the rain, so there was nowhere to go. We, did not leave, we ordered another drink and enjoyed the rest of our night. Juan was very argumentative and said he was the new manager and that he probably didn’t handle that situation very well, I agreed and told him he didn’t. Even being local, and the food always being good, I will second guess where I eat.
Came out for a concert and had a craving for mochi.
I had been here before, and it was awesome. Decided to stop by the bar and have a drink. Was a bit upset to find out the mochi was discontinued. Now it looks like the only place left is the insanely busy ice cream place across the road. It's a bummer, but I still think this is a great place to unwind and have some sushi or a cocktail.

Food was cold and when asked for a remake, my food came back the same but warmed up and burnt. The wait to be remade was 20 minutes. Spoke to the manager and they were not able to fix the situation in an according manner. The waiter then proceeded to be rude to my party after we explained that we know the problem is not with her. This establishment needs improve in all areas.

Went there Friday 02/16/2024 My significant other and I Got food poisoning!! We both got cooked sushi so we couldn't believe it. It was an awaful 12 hours of us just getting sick. It took us almost all day Saturday to rest , and rehydrate. I've ate there before but now I definitely won't be going back after my experience! Disappointed in the quality of food they serve.

I don't know WHAT has happened but we ate there on Friday December 8th 2023 and it was so bad...so bland and just plain old nasty. We had 2 sushi rolls and one sesame beef. none of it had any flavors or appeal. I was shocked and so were my guests. I hate saying this but we were grossed out. servers were eating food behind the bar with their bare hands. I thought good lord if food inspectors walked in right now this place would be shut down.

I went on a Monday for the select half-off menu, which is also offered on Thursday, but with different selections. The quality of fish is the best you would expect considering we are this far inland. Seaweed salad and house salad are always a great addition, also crab dip if it's a cheat day . The rice never seems to be cooked right, regardless of the item of which I order. Nama's rice ends up being more like oatmeal, from my experience, that's why it's not a 5* review. Juan 's music selection was on point, loved the vibes. Emily was the right amount of attentive, not in your face and never felt like Emily forgot about the table,
A wonderful atmosphere when you walk in.
Service was immediately given and our drinks were at our table in less than 5 minutes. We ordered the Chef's Choice Sushi Platter, and it was delicious! Got to try some things I've never had. 4 stars were given because there wasn't a public bathroom. So be sure to go to the bathroom before you arrive.

a little overpriced for the serving amount though. the service was really slow it took forever for the waitress to even ask about drinks and even longer for the bill. she also was not very friendly:(

We went for half priced sushi and it was delicious. The drinks were good. The sushi makers were a hoot. We sat at the bar and they had us laughing the whole time. It was a great experience.

I absolutely love sushi and love this restaurant but what I loved most was ther service. Savanna or Van was absolutely incredible at her job. She was extremely kind and personable. She went beyond what a regular server does and made me feel welcomed and not like a customer at all more like a friend. She made us laugh while also being very attentive to our needs. Even without asking she knew what I needed. Absolutely wonderful experience!
Not a good experience
The waitress was very aloof and not friendly at all. Even though there was hardly anyone in the place it still took a long time to get our food. We were attending a UT football game and they took their time. The bathrooms were very dirty and the sushi was not fresh. Bill was over $50 for grocery store quality sushi. Very disappointing.
Solid sushi spot, regardless of what others have said
High quality sushi, friendly and attentive staff. Coming from the east coast, I can affirm their sushi was very good. Unsure what the disconnect is with pricing and other comments as I found the size of roll and quality/quantities given to be large and well worth the value for what I received.

If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
ISSUE WITH PAYOUT
Hi everyone, i am writing to bring an issue to your attention regarding my recent payout. I was due to receive my first payout 3 weeks ago on 06/06/2024. Unfortunately, this payment was not sent as expected. I reported the issue to the support team and was promised that the matter would be resolved and the money would be deposited into my account on Monday the next week, but it was never paid neither was it refunded to my At account. However, despite several reports to support no one responded, I have not received the payment or gotten it return to my account till date. I made two other withdrawal that was paid. This week I was expecting a payment, scheduled to be received on 06/27/2024. However, the payment neither deposited into my account nor was it returned to my AT account, I have contacted support but no one has responded. This is very frustrating and discouraging, I need to understand why this happens and know a possible solution as I can't keep earning and not get paid or maybe I should quit AT altogether.

I bid on a reservation for this past Thursday around a week ago. By the day before, I still had not heard anything back, so I made a different reservation on my own with a cancellation fee. Later on, I got an email that someone could fulfill my reservation request. I didn’t confirm anything because I already had my own reservation. Today, I got a $100 no show fee charge from Appointment Trader. I’m confused why I would be liable for a cancellation fee for a reservation I never confirmed??

I see with my user status I can only cashout $1,500 a week. However is my monthly linit also that same $1,500? That doesnt make sense. Why even have caps, the sales went thru and its 2 days after by the time you release the hold to me. The monthly cap of $1500 (if thats what it is) really limits your good sellers profit potential as of that $1500 only a fraction is profit as the reservations cost a lot to reserve anyways at Carbone and Torissi.
Hoping the weekly is $1500 and the monthly is a glitch you can fix for me.

Forget trying to snipe reservations online by waking up early and booking top restaurants at Carbone or Tatiana or Cote or 4Charles. After 2.5 months of booking reservations by setting up alarms, waking up early to sell appointments. It’s very hard to cash out on this app. During cash out, you have to pay $5 fee +3% transactions fee and max payout per day is $150.
Advice to new users:
- do not mass book reservations
- fill bids only
- don’t try to book reservations online, you need connections and call the restaurant
After putting in about 40 hours of work, I’ve made about $750 sale on this platform but gotten paid $0. Take this with a grain of salt.
