Great night, great service, cool vibes....records be jamming'....
Not sure about the negative reviews, but we had a great time at Mraz. We enjoyed the casual vibe. It was lively due to the records being played behind us against the wall. I thought it was a nice touch for the causal ambience. When the record stopped a server would come over and replace it with a new artist and place the album cover next to the player to show who was playing. I din't know any of the music but enjoyed it. This place is not quiet so if you're looking for a quiet corner to whisper this is not it, which made this place fun. The courses were worth the price point. We got the pairing and it was worth it. Our server, was genuine and very welcoming and we got along great. Lots of character at Mraz. On your way to the w/c the wine cellar is below, almost across from it. The w/c is interesting use of a tight place. Nonetheless, our experience was fun and damn good for 2**. The pickles?? dunno what it's about but I loved it. We left happy and well buzzed. The menu was give to us with recommendation printed on it as well. Everything from snack places, late night joints, mom n pop places. We embarked on one of the places and it was worth the visit for another dinner....I think Heidingers? def out in the neighborhoods..... Thumbs up on Mraz....
Amazing place.
We had the pleasure of dining at Mraz & Sohn last week, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The staff was incredibly welcoming! The ambiance was perfect—we were able to sit by the open kitchen making it a great experience for a special evening out. The food was outstanding. Every dish from the menu was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and that the kitchen takes pride in every plate that leaves the pass. What really set the experience apart was the service. The servers were knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of the entire evening. They were also very accommodating with food preferences and restrictions, which was much appreciated. Also, the chef and servers waits by the door at the end of the dinner to say goodbye. Just impressive. It’s rare to find a restaurant that hits all the marks—great food, great service, and great atmosphere—but Mraz & Sohn exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be returning and recommending it.
We were at the chef's table last night (A Thursday evening).
Absolutely amazing. Food was flawless, delicious and beautifully presented. Wine pairings were over the top. Service was outstanding and lovely. It was great being in the kitchen and having the staff explain the various dishes and pairings. Plan for a relaxing evening--we were there for about 3.5 hours for the chef's table. Even though it was many small plates, we were stuffed when we left. Very happy we made this reservation. Perfect place for a celebration dinner.
A Fun Twist
We were so excited to snag this hard to get reservation for our first night in Vienna. The decor and staff were delightful. The food was incredible. It was such a fun and delicious evening.
Creative and excellent cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere
A truly exceptional restaurant with excellent cuisine, a very pleasant ambience and a unique price-performance ratio. Everything was just right here: friendly service, pleasant atmosphere, creative menu at a very fair price. The wine pairing is excellent, but very unusual and therefore probably a matter of taste. I will definitely be going back soon. A clear recommendation!
A stunning experience that I still think about many weeks
A stunning experience that I still think about many weeks later! We had 13 some dishes (some very small thankfully!) and shared one wine pairing. Tasting menu starts at 167 euros per person when we were there which felt fair for the quality of food. We also added white truffle to the ginger risotto. It was outrageously good and came to about 60 euros for two (as you have to say when to stop grating and I didn't realize that!). Service was good but staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and sometimes missed a beat. Once or twice our wine pairing was served after we finished the course it was suppose to go with. Ambiance is very cool and modern and we enjoyed our 3 plus hours relaxing and eating incredible food and trying interesting wines here! Overall, worthy of a venturing here as the 2 Michelin stars are deserved for sure. Loved that they gave us a cheesy and hilarious poster to remember our meal by!

For those that are fortunate enough to be able to afford a meal at Mraz & Sohn, I'd recommend it without any hesitation. My wife and I visited during our stay in Vienna on our honeymoon. Our dinner there was an experience I don't suppose we'll ever forget. So as not to spoil the surprise, which I have to believe is intentional given the lack of information you'll find online, I won't share what we had to eat. It enhanced our dinner to not know what we were getting into. Even once we sat down, the first impressions given by the eclectic (in a good way) menu, ambience, and the staff challenge the notion that this is fine dining. While this is a two Michelin star restaurant and the meal is of top creativity and quality, I felt far more relaxed than I expected to. While the many courses and recommended bottle of wine filled our bellies to the brim with happiness, what set the entire evening apart to the highest level was the service. The staff rotated to our table throughout the night with smiles and offered detailed descriptions of our courses as they guided us through our journey. After an unforgettable experience that lasted almost the entire night, we were greeted by the entire staff (including the chefs) at the door as they handed us bread and apples for the day ahead on the next leg of our journey to Salzburg. I'm so thankful for the staff and blessed to have been so invited as guests!

We had a amazing meal at Mraz & Sohn. Every course was great and the wine pairing matched the quality of the food. The atmosphere was laid back and fun. Deserves every bit of the 2 Michelin stars it has received. A very memorable restaurant

Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* MaternalRecord73, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* MaternalRecord73 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to MaternalRecord73 for any questions Peter may have as MaternalRecord73 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* MaternalRecord73 now uses their connections at Mraz & Sohn Wien to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If MaternalRecord73 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, MaternalRecord73 receives the $200 reward which is credited to MaternalRecord73's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Mraz & Sohn Wien!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
