Artfully created meal with the finest ingredients in a sophisticated setting
Everything you’d expect from a restaurant at the Wynn. Wonderful teppanyaki and fantastic service. Artfully created meal using the best ingredients. Lovely ambience. Even though it was busy, noise level was low.
Be the first to ReplyUpscale and Diverse Japanese Dining Experience.
This is a very good upscale restaurant in a very upscale hotel in Las Vegas. The vibe is excellent, busy and chic, the seating ambience is very nice and the menu is very diverse with a lot of Japanese dishes ranging from sushi, tempura, gyoza to wagyu beef, they really have a large diversity in the dishes. It is expensive but it delivers, excellent food and preparation. I had a reservation the first night, and then went back two nights later because I really enjoyed my time and was able to get a early bar seat with the help of the very nice, friendly and helpful front entry hostess. Large staff running around the room all ready to assist and help even if it isn't your server, no one will not listen to you if ask them a question and are willing to help. Very professional dining staff. Check it out if you want a nice and pleasant Japanese food dining experience, but be ready to pay some.

The dining experience at this Japanese restaurant was truly outstanding, offering a delightful array of dishes and impeccable service. The sake that we were suggested to taste was excellent, standing out as one of the best I've ever had. What sets this restaurant apart is its thoughtful inclusion of diverse vegetarian options, and I must say, the vegan sushis were absolutely delicious!
Be the first to ReplyVery good during Grand Prix week
Dined twice during the Grand Prix Formula One week. This was one of the few restaurants which were still running à la Carte at normal prices. We were served by a lovely lady, the restaurant was comfortable, the food was very good, highly recommended during busy periods. Then again, everything at the Wynn is good.
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful, expensive, just ok
We came on their very first day of opening so let’s cut them some slack here. Food The food was expensive and underwhelming. I’ll skip over the price because ultimately being expensive is not something negative. If you think that $40 o-toro is too much then don’t come. That said, no matter the price the food was definitely on the bland side of things. Wynn (which is our favorite hotel on the strip) is amazing at making beautiful restaurants with forgettable food. This is sort of shaping up to be another one of those. Compared to something like Catch where seafood is incredibly flavorful, or even asian contemporaries like Kumi, the food just wasn’t all that tasty. It wasn’t bad in any way shape or form, but it just needed more flavor. The oysters were actually great though. Very unique and probably one of my favorites. The rest however was nothing to remember. All you favorite dishes are there but just a bit on the bland side, that’s all. Service Hyper fast. So fast that empty dishes were disappearing from our table seconds after we put them aside. It was almost magic-trick-like feeling. There is always a person or two that is waiting nearby to clear your table, refill your water or provide fresh cutlery. Honestly the service is great. Vibe You’re staring at a waterfall in a super contemporary and yet very warm space that, despite being quite new and modern has a sense of homage to the old asian ways. It’s one of the nicest spots we’ve eaten lately so that deserves to be mentioned. They also have an outdoor seating section where you sit right next to the waterfall. It was a bit too cold for us to try but I’m sure it’s beautiful for a romantic date. Overall Umm if money is not an object at all, then go just for the cool vibe. If you want the best asian food for the amount you’re spending, then I’d say go to Otoro or Kumi instead.
Be the first to ReplyHome Run at the Wynn
Yep, it’s pricy but the sushi at Mizumi is worth every nickel. Fresh, well presented, excellent wait staff, just a fantastic choice for a nice dinner on the strip. Dine outside if you can as the waterfall is awesome.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing (except one small thing)
Exquisite restaurant. Would have rated 5 stars across the board, but they did not honor our confirmed Open Table reservation. We waited 45 minutes and ate at the bar, which turned out to be fabulous (except for the wait). The food and service were as good as it gets. Very unique combinations and beautiful presentation. Highly recommend.
Be the first to ReplyImpressive Sushi
Food: The highest quality food prepared with perfection - Appetizers: the sashimi plate: chef’s daily selection of premium sashimi from Japan, is excellent way to try different of the top raw items The wagyu gyosa dumpling is amazing. The best of its kind The scallop tataki shrimp roll is my favorite. Creamy and flavorful The crispy rice spicy tune nigeri is OK The Dobin Mushi soup is beyond excellent. A truly perfect soup. The regular miso soup is just regular. - Entrée/main dishes: the Kobe beef on the hot stone is a must try. - Desserts: Yuzu & Passionfruit soufflé is amazing. The roasted chestnut “mont-Fuji” is good and very light. Drinks: extensive sake list for all palates and budgets. Service: very attentive and helpful. Very fast service. Ambience/atmosphere: We were accommodated in the best outdoor table Table #503. The perfect spot at the corner beside the fountain. Value: Expensive, but the price matches the quality. And taste of course Overall rating: 5 out of 5. Recommendations: Best sushi place outside Japan. Highly recommended.
Be the first to ReplySurprisingly delightful
We wanted to book the Sushi restaurant of Mizumi however, when we booked ( a month in advance!) they did not have the times we wanted so we opted for the Teppanyaki part of the restaurant. The service was top notch, the food fresh and tasty and the atmosphere was fun. It's worth it.
Be the first to ReplyGreat dining experieince, scenery, each plated dish a work of art
wonderful cuisine with unique flavors. Each plate is a work of art We tried wagu beef and lobster sushi roll. Very unique taste and great combo. The mushroom salad was delicious and filling
Be the first to ReplyExceptional restaurant you must attend
We love coming to this place, for the food of course but also for the setting next to a water fall in the Wynns hotel that we love as well. All dishes are exceptional and the Sake list is impressive. The service is perfect and friendly. Perfect evening on all aspects.
Be the first to ReplyWow. Awesome
Awesome. Beautiful. We sat in the gondola facing the water fall and our waitress was exceptional and super knowledgeable.
Be the first to ReplyNot gluten friendly
I was sooo excited to finally eat at Mizumi It quickly turned to dismay when I tried to order. No effort made to accommodate a gluten allergy and I mean no effort.
Be the first to ReplyMost terrible service, a complete disaster
Mizumi used to be my favorite restaurant in Vegas. However, everything changed when a waitress called “Mei” totally ruined all the mood for my dinner tonight. I was just rushing the restaurant from airport as usual wearing my Y3 slides. She first looked up and down over me and refused me to get in because of my shoes. The girl from the front desk allowed me to enter and told her that it’s fine. I also mentioned that I have come to this restaurant several times with the same shoes and nobody has told me that it’s not allowed. Mei kept an extremely rude attitude towards me, ignoring every thing I said and showing a indifferent face all the time. After I asked her name and let her know it’s inappropriate to treat me in that bad attitude, she answered “do you need me to call you my manager?” I said yes and she went to talk to her manager for very long time. The manager, Simon, then walked to me and explained that the restaurant policies have changed in the past few months and Mei did not have to tell me this change. The manager showed a very tough attitude as well after having a long talk with Mei. “Every fine dining restaurant requests a formal dress code”, he said toughly, without any patience or understanding. I mean, you guys can let me know the policy when I asked to join the waitlist in the front desk, or just tell me in a polite and normal way, instead of showing the rude and disrespectful attitude and making the customer have the most unpleasant experience. I could leave and I don’t have to have my dinner there. Second, different people have different standards of the dress code, not sure if it’s due to the lack of training process or they never pay any attention to the service. I PAY FOR the service there. But the experience that Mei and Simon have brought to me was truly a disappointment and disaster of Mizumi and Wynn.
Be the first to Replyone of better sushi place on strip
good looking place, friendly staff, nice selection, we just kept ordering through the evening. Miso fish and Truffle crab were great. Fresh fish. Pricey, place but you are in the Wynn and on the Vegas strip. The Roba was good, and the speciality items we enjoyed.
Be the first to ReplyBest of Vegas
Wow, just wow. This will be the experience I remember most from my week long stay in Vegas. The best view, staff, and food. Doesn't get much better. Japanese mushroom appetizer, crispy rice spicy tuna, and truffle creamy crab croquettes. Spectacular.
Be the first to ReplyDon’t waste your time or money at Mizumi
Went to celebrate our sons birthday at Mizumi, spent over $600 and left underwhelmed and hungry, the oyesters, sushi and the grilled options were all third rate, there are much much better options available on the Vegas strip, save yourself the feeling of being gypped and avoid Mizumi
Be the first to ReplyNice place for Sushi
Mizumi is a beautiful restaurant and we were seated at a table facing the amazing outdoor waterfall. (you can sit outside if you like) The menu is expansive and there's something for everyone. We ordered many items of sushi/sashimi along with some Lobster Miso soup and Wagyu beef. All of the food was excellent as was the service...up until the end of the meal. For dessert my sons both ordered a dessert that our waiter said takes 20 minutes to prepare which was fine. After about 5 minutes one of my sons asked the waiter to change his order to another dessert, which he did. We sat and waited 20 minutes for the second dessert and he even stopped by and asked if we wanted anything else to which I replied...just our last dessert. He said he would go check but by the look on his face I knew he had forgotten to put the order in. He came back and apologized saying he had cancelled BOTH dessert orders and he comped the other dessert my son had. Normally a missed dessert isn't a big deal and comping something is the right thing to do but the annoying part in this case was sitting around for 20 minutes waiting for a dessert that never came. Otherwise food...service and atmosphere were great.
Be the first to ReplyI’m sushi snob. Seriously. Eat here.
So I’m a foodie and a Japanese food snob. I’ve been taken around Japan by my Japanese grand-uncle who had access to nice restaurants in Tokyo and Kyoto. I’ve been at Micheline-starred Japanese restaurants around the world. And let me tell you, eat here. Mizumi served some of the best Japanese food I’ve ever had. We ordered: the hamachi carpaccio, the tuna tataki, robata platter, toro sushi roll, spicy yellowtail roll, crispy rice and spicy tuna roll, sushi moriawase, udon, dobin mushi, and a few drinks. The robatayaki was definitely delicious, but my palate couldn’t appreciate the difference between Mizumi’s vs other fine-dining robatoyaki. That’s on me. But the appetizers and rolls and Mizumi-creation sushi were out of this world. The nigiri sushi were obviously of the highest quality (the kimedai was my fav here), but my husband said it’s harder to tell the difference between one fantastic nigiri sushi from another. There’s seems to be a ceiling for happiness when it comes to great nigiri sushi. Given that that is an expensive meal, and their menu is so full of variety that it’s hard to decide where to begin, we spent a long time strategizing our selection. The appetizers and Mizumi specialty rolls and sushi are absolutely the show stoppers and most likely to wow and justify the cost — cuz they are not to be found anywhere else. Dobin mushi isn’t readily found on other menus either, and it’s kind to fun to drink soup out of a little cup. I think it’ll take a more sophisticated palate to appreciate Mizumi’s elevated nigiri sushi, so I’m not sure I’d order a bunch of them again unless I’m with the right guests. Next time we come back (and we will be back for sure), we’ll probably just order a bunch of Mizumi specialty rolls and appetizers and the seafood nabe. Can’t wait for our return!
Be the first to ReplyDelicious Food
Food was great. Sashimi and the lobster and wagyu roll was great. The thing that stood out was the 50 Hr Veal Cheek. Dessert was wonderful. The Yuzu Passionfruit Souffle was tasty. Service was wonderful. Restaurant was a classic vegas luxury vibe. Getting a table towards the rear gives you a better view of the waterfall.
Be the first to ReplyDivine!
Divine! Absolutely amazing food in a beautiful decor inside the Wynn Hotel! I highly recommend the crispy rice with tuna sushi.
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best meals I have had
Wow doesn’t even describe our dinner here. My husband and I came for my birthday dinner here and had an incredible experience. They sat us at a table next to the window to see the beautiful waterfall. We shared a few of the sushi rolls and gyoza and all of it was delicious. We both said it was one of the best meals we have ever had. Expensive but well worth the price because the food, service and atmosphere all exceeded our expectations. Will be back when we visit again.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious as always
Food and drinks were delicious as always, staff was very attentive and went out of their way to accommodate us.
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful place, amazing food.
We went to Mizumi last sunday on our last day in Vegas, the place is beautiful, the view to the cascade is incredible, staff is very nice but the food is very good. Specially the sashimis are incredible.
Be the first to ReplyStylish and Tasteful
Mizumi is tasteful and well-decorated, with insane views like everything at the Wynn. At the start of our evening in the restaurant, we had to get used to our server Drew, a sort of cowboy in a hurry. Folks this, Folks that. We made it clear to him that we were in no hurry at all and wanted to start with a bottle of wine first. He had to laugh; Europeans for sure? The ice was broken, and we had a great click the rest of the evening. Everything we ordered was tasty and very nicely prepared. The Toro, the Tempura Shrimp, the crispy tuna, Kagoshima Freid rice, and the beef were equally delicious. It was expensive, sure, but it was worth it. Oh, and Drew, thanks for the fantastic evening.
