If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would.
Staff and Service: - From the moment you walk in, you are treated like royalty. We checked in for our reservation, they took our coats to hang up downstairs, and we went upstairs to dine - I've never experienced such teamwork at a restaurant and this stood out to me the most. How swiftly the staff members would move around and support each other was jaw dropping. I found myself looking around most of the time just trying to take this in. You can clearly see how much training they go through - and it was spectacular - I loved the carts that would go around because it really added to the experience - Our waiter was fantastic with his recommendations, advice, and overall knowledge to answer our questions Food and Drinks: - Summer Bliss: fun and fruity cocktail with a vodka base. Was quite refreshing - Caesar Salad: recommend this as it's a salad and a show! They make the salad in front of your table (think like table side guacamole, but better and fancier). The salad was also so tasty with all of the different components added - Oysters: ordered a dozen Kushi oysters and they were delicious. They come with their own strawberry compote type of topping, which I didn't think I would like. I was wrong! - Steak Tartare: I wasn't a huge fan of this (personal preference), but everyone else liked it a lot. Good seasoning and comes with a bowl of their house made chips, which were super tasty. - M&L Burger: lots of fun layers to this burger (was voted best burger in California by Michelin, so had to try it) from the onion ring to the bacon jam to the cheese. Also comes with a mountain of truffle fries (no need to order a separate side of fries unless you want to share a lot). - Scallops: tasty, refreshing - Steak: They come around with a platter of steak so you can choose what cut and size you want - Sol Meunière: shipped from France every 72 hours). Deboned in front of you, which is like another show at the restaurant. - Desserts: They come around with a dessert cart to choose from some options (they also have options not on the menu like basque cheesecake and sorbet). Our peach dessert was divine and looked just like a real peach! Miscellaneous: - Community bathrooms located towards the back of the restaurant - Good for large groups or date nights (saw couples and saw a group of 12) - Highly recommend making a reservation in advance - Parking is available via street parking or any local parking garages (this restaurant is basically connected to Chase Center) - This restaurant is on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for. Great food, fantastic service, and an experience! - Come hungry!

The food was terrible and disgusting; it didn't taste like high-quality steak. I would rather go to Mastro's. However, the staff were very friendly and professional.

5 or 4. Except for the hamburger. What was advertised as a great burger was anything but. We ordered it medium rare, it was so well done it rivalled a hockey puck. Here is where the overall rating of 2 comes from. Not the food the service. We would have sent the burger back , but after 10 minutes of seeing no servers we broke down and ate the hockey puck. The server problem continued through the entire meal. The runners delivered the food (they also kept the table clean), and then disappeared. During the entire meal no one asked if the food was good,or did we need anything. When we did need something we had to find someone to ask, and often more than once. Never had such bad service . So a 3.5 food and a 0 service = a 2 star review.

Everything from service to the food quality was excellent. We truly enjoyed the nostalgia of the staff attire and the highly knowledgeable service staff. The caesar salad "experience" was great and that everything was pretty much local was also nice. We loved the display of the food offerings and everything was explained throughly. What we did not enjoy was the restaurant forgetting our take home food item. The staff placed everything in our to-go bag except the off-menu rib-eye steak I did not finish. There was roughly a little more than half of the steak left over and those that have dined at Miller & Lux should know they offer very generous portions when it comes to their meat selections. If this was The Cheese Cake Factory or some other place , i know Cheesecake is not considered fine dining but they do have an extensive menu :), I wouldn't fret but this is Miller & Lux. I will not disclose the price of the steak but the reason for the review is to inform the business what had occurred so they can improve their service. Still not sure why the item was left behind yeet everything and i do mean everything else was placed in the bag. It would be good if the restaurant could reach out so i can explain the issue. Some may say big deal the fact that you dined at Miller & Lux is something great so why complain. Again, I just would like for them to hopefully not forget my food or anyone else's food for that material since it was so so delicious :).

We were on a lengthy walk along the water and happened upon Miller & Lux. We had previously dined at the Hualalai location, and decided to stop for a beverage and a bite. We were greeted at the door and settled in at the bar-- the dining room is on the upper level. Service and drinks were excellent. We ordered the scallops to share. The scallops were excellent and perfectly prepared, some of the best I have had. They were definitely "dry" scallops as they held their sear. Perfectly seasoned. It was an excellent dish, except for the potatoes. Unfortunately they were not heated through, and were not fully cooked, so the flavor had not fully developed. They were a bit crunchy, and due to the lacked seasoning. They were too firm to take on the flavors of the sauce. Scallops 5, but potatoes dropped it down to 4stars Service saved the day with a 5+

Husband made a reservation for our engagement anniversary (gotta find any reason to celebrate, right?) Make sure you come on a day when there's no warriors or giants game, as the restaurant is right next to both and I imagine the parking would be insane. We came on a no game day, so there was plenty of street parking. The restaurant is 2 stories, so the view during dinner was beautiful, overlooking the bay. Definitely get the table side Caesar salad. The presentation is a work of art. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, the outside crust was so thin with so much pink in the middle. Juicy, tender, flavorful. Husband was so enamored by the dessert cart, he wanted one of each... We got 3. Big portions, had to take everything to-go. Every dish had a beautiful presentation. Have to come back to share the experience with family and friends.

We came here with a friend and we absolutely loved our meal. The service was excellent from start to finish and they took very good care of us. Our meal started with some excellent cocktails (the rye manhattan was particularly good) and a small cup of consommé to open up our palates. We got the Caesar salad to start and it was very tasty; it was also enjoyable to see it prepared table side. We got the tomahawk ribeye with a variety of sauces and the red wine bordelaise and the creamed horseradish were exceptional. We also had a side of the truffle fries and charred brassicas and everything was absolutely delicious. We then finished our meal with 3 of their exquisite desserts: black forest cake (in the shape of a cherry), chocolate mousse, and Basque cheesecake. They were some of the best desserts we've ever had and we'd come back just for the desserts. It's a fantastic steakhouse overall and I can't recommend it enough!

By far our favorite restaurant when we are going to a Warriors or Giants game. The Caesar Salad that they make in front of you and all of their steak and fish are on point. We have also enjoyed the wine pairings that David, the in-house sommelier, has suggested.

Dined here for an event and everything from food to service to ambiance blew me away. The moment I arrived the hostess stand was busy on a call (reasonable) and someone at the bar, and a waiter behind that bar, immediately tried to attend to my presence. (I was fine waiting, just super shocked at how fast they tried to make sure I was tend to). There's a "casual" bar downstairs for drinks (not casual at all, the decor included dark detailed wood walls, dimmed atmosphere, drop ball lighting, and a half circular curved bar - giving a very tasteful feel). Going upstairs I noticed there was staff waiting and greeting me as I entered the main dining room. Very simple yet luxury interiors, but again super beautiful. The curve of the tanned booths and these flared pillars that had bronze accents gave the dining room an elegant touch. I sat inside the event room, which was lovely because there was a curtain separator to help keep our conversations private. For dinner, my event had booked a fixed menu. I got the steak main which was delicious! For dessert, we got to try all of Karla Marro's creation for that night. I personally did not love the dessert but that is due to a personal preference of not loving cream based foods. The desserts were beautiful imitation of real life fruits, that cut open to reveal cream cake + more. Ugh, I am so grateful I got to try Miller & Lux because of the event and am hoping to return soon on a personal visit!
Deserving of accolades
Came in from out of town with the family and met up with some friends who recommended this fantastic restaurant. Have two kids (8 and 10) who can behave and we dressed them up for a fancy dinner. The service was impeccable. From the wait staff to the sommelier (Mandy) to the GM (Chris) and even Chef Tyler himself, everyone was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The drinks were excellent, we had our own wine (corkage was fine), and the food - wonderful. They even allowed the kids to head up and see their incredible oyster estuary. While the kids were well behaved, the staff really made them feel special. The oyster were so fresh and had wonderful flavor. The steak tartare was delicious and my favorite. My wife tried and loved their Kaluga cavier. The main course steak was great and the desserts (we split several) all had strong, enticing flavors despite the fact that we were all full. Loved our experience and would highly highly recommend.
The ambiance and service were all impeccable.
The food was great, but we felt like it needed a pinch more salt for every dish, especially the tomahawk steak. It's a fun date night (there were champagne, dessert, and steak carts) in a beautiful setting overlooking the bay.

Chose this restaurant for a work colleague retirement celebration (11 people). What a mistake. Very disappointed and upset at our choice. The food is terrible. We all ordered steak dishes (Tomahawk, New York, and Filet Mignon). Very disappointed in flavor and taste. Everyone's meat dish came out cold. And the meat does NOT taste of high quality. Also disappointed in the choice and taste of the sides. The mushroom sides has no flavor and is done poorly. I don't mind paying for good food. But when the entire party returns to work complaining about the food, something is wrong. On a good note, the waiting and managerial staff are very professional and knowledgeable regarding the menu. But that is not enough for a return visit. Definitely do not recommend this restaurant.
Smoke & mirrors- really great smokey drink.
I'd get this again. Fall canapés (Shrimp croquette, Smoked salmon tea sandwich) - both were very good, just very small and I'm not sure it was worth $5 each. One canapé is not shareable. There was one canapé that was like a savory cream puff that was just ok for me. I can't remember the name. Truffle deviled eggs- this came with 6 halves and was amazing. Truffle flavor was strong. I'd get this again. Caesar salad- very good and wouldn't mind getting this again. It comes with anchvies Maine diver scallop Provençal- this was bomb. It had a lot of seafood, not just scallops, and the rice was nice and crispy. Service was excellent. I came for a birthday celebration and we were all really excited to see each other. The Caesar salad was a whole presentation and I think the staff noticed that we weren't paying attention so they came back and started the presentation from the beginning. At the end, they prepared the leftovers and bagged it. They also opened the door for me to enter the restroom. Everyone was very friendly and didn't make us feel rushed even though we were the very last customers there.

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday, and I'm so glad I chose this place. The ambiance was perfect, service was outstanding, and the food was amazing. Our server (I think his name was Manuel) was wonderful! He had a great, positive attitude, and really knew the menu. The restaurant manager was also very kind and attentive, and made sure our dinner was going well. Waters were always refilled, table was constantly cleaned, and everyone there had great customer service. -The caviar is an absolute MUST -Our Tomahawk steak was cooked perfectly -For sides, you have to order the charred brassicas and truffle fries. Both were SO good! -And I'm not really a mushroom fan, but my boyfriend DEVOURED the miso glazed mushrooms For drinks, my bf got the warriors way, and I chose pear-fection. Loved my drink so much, I ordered another one. They have a champagne and dessert cart that goes around, which I thought was super cute and unique. All their desserts looked so good, I wanted to get them all haha, but we decided on the chocolate cake, and it did not disappoint! Pro tip: make sure to request for the booths facing the window, when you make your reservation. We were almost sat next to a big party in a smaller table, which felt a little awkward. We had to ask to switch tables. Not sure why the hostess tried to sit us there when there were a couple other tables open with more privacy. Besides that, there are no complaints! Definitely will be back :)

Exquisite location , friendly service , food is beyond "good food" doesn't compare to any steakhouse in SF, the quality is superior.We had the Burger and the Steak accompaniment by the fresh oysters. Easy access to the Chase center to watch out show right after. Will be back to try the desserts
So this is my 4th time dining here.
Went out as a date night from my other half. The place is beautiful, very classy and chic. Even the unisex bathroom is beautiful and smelled really good. The night had a hiccup as soon as I walked in the door. The table they gave us was really small as I requested a booth so I switched tables. I left my phone behind on accident. Long story short, someone kept picking up my phone and hanging up. I'm not sure who took my cell phone. After the staff began searching for it and my fiance trying to get through by calling it several times, He decided to go back downstairs once again, and magically, there it was back on the table that we were sitting at under the menu. I don't want to accuse anybody but I thought that was very sketchy. Even some of the staff agreed that it was weird. So, for the drinks, I ordered a dirty martini with blue cheese olives. I also had Merlot, which was really good. For appetizers, I ordered the oysters, sashimi tacos, and the french onion soup. All three were extremely delicious. The sashimi tacos are tiny but so delicious. For dinner, we ordered the tomahawk, potato puree, kale salad, and Wagu burger with truffle fries. I loved the burger. It simply melted in your mouth. The fries came out cold, and I didn't touch it. The potato puree was okay. The kale salad wasn't really too much to my liking. Now here's where I wasn't happy. The tomahawk came out cold, so I flagged down my server to let him know because the tomahawk was supposed to be the star of the evening. He apologized and took it back, so I assumed they were going to make me another one considering the hefty price tag. To my surprise, he brought back the same exact one, heated up. At that point, it was too well done as I like my steaks medium rare. I was very disappointed and I wanted to send it back, but I didn't because my fiance was really hungry and I didn't want to ruin his evening. I find it very disappointing that an upscale Steakhouse would do something like that. If I'm dropping $600, I expect everything to be perfect. I left very unsatisfied. It's sad because I wanted to celebrate my sister's birthday here in a few months but now I'm thinking twice about it. It's unfortunate to drop this much but leave unsatisfied.

The tell of two visits .
. Night of Stevie Nicks concert my mom and I had a wonder experience here. From the moment we walked in to the moment with left it was all top tier. We were seated in the main dining room upstairs, had a bottle a wine, the deviled eggs , split the 10oz filet with a side of puréed potatoes. All items were very good. The staff and manager went above and beyond to check on us and make us feel very comfortable. Last night my husband and I went here before the Warriors game . We were unfortunately seated downstairs in the lounge area. Don't get me wrong it's very nice down there but that's not the vibe we were going for and most importantly being seated in the booth around the corner caused us to be forgotten. We showed up a little early and were seated right away, our drinks came fast but unfortunately so did everything else. I feel like it was a bit rushed and when the 10oz filet came it was cold. We would've said something to the server but he didn't return for awhile after that. My water glass was empty multiple times as well. I know this all sounds petty but when your bill is $400 you expect it to be out of this world.
There are better steaks
If nothing else I love a delicious steak and I truly wanted to love it here. Dinner started with a visit from a champagne cart. I am not sure why, but this practiced seemed out of place here. Popovers were up next. While I know other places serve them, these made me miss The Cliffhouse. Appetizers were the pear salad and truffle deviled eggs, good but not great. We split the 46oz Tomahawk. Maybe I don't like dry-aged meat, maybe it was overcooked. But, I found myself chewing a lot and having to discard many bites of meat as it just was not digestible. We paired our steak with creamed kale, I wish it had just been creamed spinach with the added crispy onions. Dessert cart had options for most and the cappuccino I ordered was delicious. What I did really enjoy was the ambiance. It was a very stormy day on our visit and that just added a little something to it. I think there are plenty of better steaks to be had for the price point, I do not see myself returning.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
