I'm extremely disappointed with my visit to Milk Bar.
I was so excited to finally try Christina Tosi's desserts and hearing so much about them but they did not live up to my expectations at all (not even close). First of all, the desserts are very overpriced. If they were good, I wouldn't mind paying so much, but they should not have cost nearly so much for what they are. We got a Chocolate Peppermint Sundae, a slice of the Milk Bar Pie and a couple of shakes. Everything was overly sweet. There were five of us and we didn't even finish one item that we ordered because they were way too sweet. Even my dad and I, who both have huge sweet tooths, felt like it was too much sugar. It was very painful to think about the amount of money wasted on these desserts. The service wasn't great either. We went when it wasn't busy so there were only about 3 people in line behind us. When we got to the counter I had a few quick questions since I had never been there and I wanted to get their opinion on what's good. Both of the girls working seemed really irritated with me for asking questions and weren't helpful. Milk Bar is 100% overrated. I recommend taking your money elsewhere.
Be the first to ReplySuper expensive for ice cream and the signature flavor
Super expensive for ice cream and the signature flavor "cereal milk" kinda just tasted like spoiled milk to me. The red velvet cake balls were amazing though!!
Be the first to ReplyThe soft serve was actually really good.
It has a depth of flavor I was not expecting. The line was pretty quick and service was average. It definitely was pretty pricey, but that's also a little hard to avoid when you're on the strip. It's a cute place to try when you're in Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyCame here my last day to get a taste of the birthday cake.
They opened late... waited near the doors. Finally they opened , I paid for my cake slices and then the girl comes out and says we are out ... like how do you advertise this cake everywhere and NOT have it ?? That's ridiculous to me. That's like going to an ice cream shop and then so sorry we are out of ice cream ?! She gave me a refund and apologized and told me I can come back later and they would maybe have the cake.I told her I had to leave back on my flight. There was no compensation, discount on my huge order of cookies, nothing. I was pretty irritated to be honest. Have the cake available that you advertise.. oh and have a Netflix episode on lol so bizarre . Edit* it wasn't right I agree. Kind of ridiculous.Also... if you guys are expecting fresh baked cookies this is not what you get. I was expecting fresh cookies and I paid a bunch of money for cookies full of preservatives.. something you buy at a super market. I got several flavors and they were all terrible, and tasted fake. Unfortunate. I was really excited for this place.. it was a bust for me personally. I did not try the ice cream! So maybe that's a win. But the cookies are just paying for plastic bagged cookies... nothing special.Oh my husband got the pie he said it was amazing. But I'm shocked this place is so hyped up with fake cookies and lack of cake slices lol
Be the first to ReplyI ordered a birthday shake which was actually pretty good!
I ordered a birthday shake which was actually pretty good! I love sprinkles! My only issues was the 2 female workers who weren't very welcoming and had attitudes. I asked for recommendations since it was my first time there which she did recommend a few things but she seemed in a rush for me to order altho there was no one behind me. If wasn't craving something sweet I would've just walked away and not order anything

3.5 stars overall, but rounded up because I would go back. I stopped by here on a Friday near closing. I almost thought it was closed because there wasn't a line, but I pleasantly surprised they were still opened.I grabbed a sugar cookie, a chocolate chip cornflake cookie, and a slice of milk bar pie. I've had these items before due to their ghost kitchens back home. The cookies were pre-packaged, which was a little disappointing. They were still good though. The milk bar pie is their signature and is decadent for a slice pie it is.Overall, it is a good place to grab a quick dessert. I'll need to try the soft serve if I am ever back.
Be the first to ReplyVery rich and tasty.
I love sweets but this may have been borderline too sweet. Definitely could of shared it! Give it a try and you decide.

We received a stale piece of cake!I've had milk bar cake for my birthday a few years back. Their cake is delicious, so imagine my dismay when I received a stale piece of cake. I recommend milk bar, but definitely not this location!

Small portions, bland basic flavors, an inundation of butter and sugar. The best part was they didn't charge me over $5 for a cup of milk
Be the first to ReplyI ordered a cereal milk ice cream.
It literally tasted like cereal milk ice cream. A friend who lives in New York told me to try this ice cream when I saw it, so I tried it and it was sweet and delicious. It is slightly sweeter than regular ice cream, so I recommend other menus for those who do not like sweetness. First of all, it was so cute! The staff was very friendly and there was no seating in the store, but you can sit and eat right in front of the store.
Be the first to ReplyNice little treat to have when it's hot out.
Definitely an interesting little spot and it's right by the secret pizza place which has great pizza

Went to get a soft serve milk cereal with cereal topping but the cashier seemed really unhappy taking my order. The milk soft serve was good but seemed really small for the price. Not a pleasant transaction on 8/7/22 at 7:05pm

Iced coffee yummyness! I had no idea that they had a full espresso bar with yummy drinks and serve really good decadent desserts.

We wanted to try something new (looking for some type of dessert) and this did not please anyone. We ordered two shakes and one sundae and it cost us $33! I got the cereal milk sundae and it tasted so nasty. I seriously only ate 3 bites and tossed it in the trash. I still have the taste in my mouth even after drinking water. My husband and daughter both tossed their shakes too. I would re-think this place. I seriously did not like it at all.
Be the first to ReplyThe cake was extremely hard and dry.
The employees acted as if they didn't want to be there. No greeting, no hello, no smile, no personality. Not one of them. Not much more I can say to even give it two stars. I went because I wanted a slice of cake for my birthday. Paid $12 to park for 15 minutes for a slice of cake that wasn't pleasant and the slice cost me $14. If only the owner knew the establishment was this bad I'm sure changes would be made.
Be the first to ReplyTried the peanut butter cereal milk swirl and loved it.
I was on the fence about getting it but the worker was kind enough to give me a little sample of the peanut butter and I was sold! Love their soft serve so much! Another must when I'm in Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyIt's really hit-or-miss at Milk Bar, but for the most part
It's really hit-or-miss at Milk Bar, but for the most part their desserts are way too sweet. I saw the chef's episode - Christina Tosi - on Chefs Table on Netflix and have been to Milk Bars across the country and I don't recommend anything really, which is a shame because I have lots of respect for the chef herself. Here's what I've had:It was our friends bday so they brought over these Milk Balls to Momofuku to end the meal. The only cute thing about it was the candle. It was just a crumbled up former-cake dusted with too much powdered sugar. I'd be embarrassed to serve this to people if I was the owner, even if it was free (it wasn't, we paid for this abomination) 1/10Crack Pie - (now it's known as the milk bar pie) - again, too sweet, but edible. 5/10Compost cookie kit - this is the only reason I'm bumping up my review. I brought home a tin with the ingredients from my trip to DC years ago and it was really fun to make and not bad at all! 8/10Assorted cookies- got these for my bday this year and couldn't finish them. Way too sweet and hard/crumbly! 4/10Overall everything is way too sweet at Milk Bar. I heard their cereal milk soft serve is good, so maybe... the 5th time I visit one of their locations... I can try it one day.
Be the first to Replyoverhyped, poor customer service, and wayyy too sweet.
i had heard milk bar was overrated but i still wanted to try it for myself. turns out it's just one of those gimmicky instagrammable dessert places

Cake was great! Employee was very nice! Prices are almost what you would expect, but the serving could have been slightly larger for the price. Either way, now I can say I've tried Milk!
Be the first to ReplyTourist trap.
Save yourself; calories, money, heartache taste buds etc...skip this place. Don't let those lines fool you. Elevated Strip prices for average dessert. The overpriced #Sugar:~ WAFFLE CONE PIE - 2/5Looks way better than it tastes. Nothing stood out about it. Initially I thought it was going a slice of Ice Cream cake...which would probably be better. It wasn't. At $7 for a tiny slice and $54 for the whole cake...I'll pass. Ridiculous. ~ CHOCOLATE PB CRUNCH SUNDAE - 3/5Once again looks much better in the pics. The Chocolate Crunch part on top is nice, but that's about it. The PB Soft serve is meh...weak PB flavor. I had much better. Can't possibly endorse this place.
Be the first to ReplyUnfortunately, I don't understand the hype here.
Got the soft serve and it wasn't great at all. Overpriced watered down tasting soft serve was how I can describe it. I wish I saved my money to get gelato or Ben and Jerry's on the strip instead!!! I wouldn't recommend this place. I'm a sweets person so I absolutely love dessert and this won't be one of my go to places in Vegas. For the record I'm in Vegas probably twice a year for the last 12 years.

Every time I'm at Milk Bar, I gotta grab the chocolate bday cake truffles! They're a cute little treat for myself but are a great addition to a birthday gift for anyone who has a sweet tooth!
Be the first to ReplyCute place to grab a quick coffee and dessert while walking
Cute place to grab a quick coffee and dessert while walking around the strip. I opted for the compost cookie and would get it again in a heartbeat.Only thing I wish this place had was a place to sit down and enjoy your drinks & desserts.
Be the first to ReplyThey only had one soft serve flavor as an option.
Soft serve was good. But with the lack of variety only one of my kids consumed and I was running around looking for an alternative option for my other son.
Be the first to ReplyWe were so excited to go for our first time.
Unfortunately, the entire menu was sold out with the exception of the soft serve ice cream. So, we got that. It DID taste like the milk at the bottom of a cereal bowl, but it wasn't that great, and far too sweet for our liking. We thought it was way over priced, s as well. It seemed like a gimmick. We ate half and threw the rest away. Bummer!
