Big disappointment
The restaurant was only about a quarter full at 2pm on the Saturday we went. The acoustics are awful and the space feels really industrial. Several of the dishes simply did not work, and we left quite a bit of the food. The steak ordered by another table looked good. We won’t be returning, but if you do try this place, that might be the thing to order.
Simply delicious food!!
Went for a family meal to celebrate our daughters graduation. Food was delicious, service great. Thankyou for rounding off a memorable day!
My favourite restaurant!
This is by far my favourite restaurant but I keep finding new favourite things on the menu… Where do I start? The new menu does not disappoint! I know one thing, I will never eat steak anywhere else! The food is exquisite, cooked delicately, the flavours are sublime, the wine is pure class and the staff are absolutely wonderful! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Smashing flavours, excellent technique and friendly approachable service
Super impressed with this Wood Fired focused restaurant. A concise and well thought out menu that I thought read a little disjointed at first. However once I started to eat I realised that the menu is skilfully written and individual small plates balance exceptionally well with each other. Highlights for me were the Crispy Chicken, wood fired cabbage and wood fired carrot. Simple ingredients delivered exceptionally well. Our server Sarah was super knowledgable and friendly. There if we needed her without being overbearing. A must visit restaurant when in Nottingham!
Outstanding food as normal at Mesa
Went with three friends, not for the first time, and as usual, the food and service was outstanding. We shared most of the plates on the menu, and the steak, pork collar, fish, carrots, and hispi cabbage were the stand outs. The food they delivery is really unique in Nottingham, and really great value. Food and wine for us was just over £32 a head !!!
Quicker than McDonald’s!
Food very decent, burger, lamb, cod and steak all well cooked and the flavour was there, but my god in and out in around 40 minutes, this is not a dining experience, but dining prices! It tells you they want you in and out when a restaurant doesn’t do hot drinks! But do fudge as a dessert?

Incredible dishes 10/10 or 5 stars. Small dishes to share as a couple. Flavours phenomenal and the wine to match (passimento) Please visit- amazing flavours!
We weren’t looking for a fast food restaurant
Unfortunately, the tasty food is not the lasting impression I’m left with, but the attitude of the staff was. We had a table at 8.30pm, which for most places, is not late. However, it was very clear the staff wanted us out the restaurant, and leading up to 10pm we got badgered by the waiting staff, being told multiple times the kitchen was closing. The experience felt rushed, even down to paying the bill. What do I remember of the food? The steak was delicious, my favourite dishes were probably the pork & cabbage. The mackerel wasn’t pleasant, far too many bones for my liking. But I do feel it was over priced. Also, three red wine choices is not enough, it felt very limited. Will I be going back, probably not. Would I recommend it to others, maybe, but I certainly wouldn’t get a late table, perhaps about 7ish would be better. But frankly I can think of other restaurants I’d recommend first.

I was a sushi burrito skeptic until I tried my first one today. Honestly can't believe I ever was one! The taro milk tea was delicious. Their service was excellent.

Enjoyable experience
Came as a group of 10, we all enjoyed the food, esp some of the more unusual dishes, the sharing plates worked well in a larger table. Price was fair and service efficient. Only gripe is they were extremely keen to get us out, they close at 10pm which we didn’t realise, it felt early for a Friday evening - we’d have stayed enjoying some wine for longer if we’d been able to.

I haven't been here for some time since my work schedule changed. I finally had the chance to come in on my lunch for a sushi burrito, which I had never ordered from here before! It is hefty! I wasn't expecting it to be so big, but for $15, I guess it should be! I packed mine with yellowtail and salmon, watermelon radishes, cucumbers, and carrots, and it was covered in spicy mayo. The whole thing was wrapped in a sheet of seaweed, but with how big it was, maybe two sheets would have been good? It'll probably never order the sushi burrito again with how messy it was, but I appreciated the fork that came with it. Service is still great, and quality is still 10/10
Best restaurant in Notts
Probably the best restaurant I have ever visited- everything was perfect. Would specially recommend the Foccacia and Crispy duck leg. Better than some Michelin star restaurants.
Stuck up
Average food - tough picanha steak, bland fish, practically raw carrots that felt like they’d fly onto the next table with every sawing motion. After 50 minutes we were told they needed our table back (at7.50) even though the booking confirmations said we had until 8.30. After this warning we were glared at constantly by a woman in a khaki dress - she was so cross all night! She was clearly talking about us with another member of staff and made us feel really uncomfortable. Not worth the £100 paid as we left hungry and unwelcome
Fabulous inventive food
We were brought some vouchers to use at Mesa, but this won't be our last visit. The restaurant is a small casual and relaxed place in hockley, nottingham. The food choices are based on seasonal and available produce and changes every few months. It's all freshly prepared and cooked on their in-house bbq/grill. The choices are small plates, so ordering 5-6 per couple. We thoroughly enjoyed every plate we had, which was Octopus, Stonebass, Pork, carrots (not just any carrot, wow), and fries. The food was fantastic. The staff we really great too, friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Can't wait to try again.

Walked in around 6:15pm on Christmas Eve.
Quiet and calm besides the tv in the corner. I was immediately greeted as I walked in the door. I was asked if I was picking up and I told her no and that it was my first time. (Not just in this establishment, but first time ordering a Poke Bowl... although I've always heard great things) She smiled and immediately stopped what she was doing and directed me to where I start building my Poke Bowl. She guided me through my order and gave her recommendations when I asked. I am very indecisive when it comes to ordering. She was very sweet and VERY patient. Thank you so much Kayla for the great guides and service, very great first experience. I see why y'all's reviews are so good! Also my bowl is delicious :)))) (the pictures don't do it Justice)

Outstanding all round. The food here is absolutely fantastic and I could not recommend enough. The stone bass was my favourite, but everything was great!

The bowl is filled and beats other poke bowl. I definitely recommend. I can't wait to try to eat inside the restaurant.
This place was fabulous.
The fish was ice, cold fresh, and the toppings were as well. I was skeptical when my friend asked me to go there. But I'm really glad she did. It was delicious and I'm looking forward to going back again.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
