The biggest rip of of my life
Decided to have lunch in this food curt/market which turned out to be the biggest mistake I have ever done food vice. luckily we only ordered two tapas dishes to begin with. We ordered some scampi and onions and blue cheese with 2 beers to flush it down with. The 5 scampi was 2 cloves of garlic and a splash of olive oil in a pan. The onion dish was 4 slices of a onion fried soft in a pan with a small pice of blue cheese on top. The beers was small. To charge $89 dollars for this is like a robbery. It was the less rewarding meal of my life. Go anywhere else is my recommendation

Decided to have lunch in this food curt/market which turned out to be the biggest mistake I have ever done food vice. luckily we only ordered two tapas dishes to begin with. We ordered some scampi and a blue cheese based dish, it was 6-7 shrimp's that was put in a pad together with 2 cloves of garlic and 4-5 table spoons of olive oil, the blue cheese was an onion cut like a disk and but in a pan with a thinly bit blue cheese on top. It came with to small pieces of bread we had to small glasses of beer on top of this. At the end of this disappointment I was presented a bill of $90 including tip an all taxes. I was just as hungry when I started, It would have taken me 4 minutes to cook this at home that's how little finesse that went into this. I have eaten in restaurants all many country's all over the world but I have never been such profoundly disappointed after a meal in my entire life.

Loved this place by Jose Andres! Itโs like a Spanish Food court. You can sit down and order or you can go and buy directly whichever is convenient for you! Everything we had was delicious and we had a wonderful time in this
Be the first to ReplyFuet is disgusting! Nothing to do with the real fuet of France. Absolutely awful.
Too much fat in every food. Never again. Why on earth is this so oily and fat ? The meat was not well cooked, yuck. Never again.

One of the assorted venues in the fun Spanish food court under Hudson Yards. No decor to speak of, you sit at tables scattered about the space. One paella available when we were there, Valenciana - with rabbit, maybe some chicken and pork. They keep bringing it out in huge pans. NOT for paella aficionados--not flavorful enough, a little dry. Plenty of meat though. Nu burnt part - everybody's favorite.
Be the first to ReplyA fine little taste of Spain in the middle of NYC
Walking The High Line from The Whitney we came to Hudson Yards. In the basement we found Mercado Little Spain, where we had gazpacho, sardines and patatas bravas. It was very good, but service was more or less non-existing.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, out of this world prices.
Great concept, however, for the price of a meal, you can very well get yourself a roundtrip ticket to Madrid.
Be the first to ReplyCool spot
Really cool spot with nice traditional food and drinks. Right by the start of the High Line so a good starting or end point for that
Be the first to ReplyDelicious with a fun vibe.
We ate at La Barra. This place has such a fun vibe and the food is delicious! A nice unplanned stop after we visited the Edge. Service was good too!
Be the first to ReplyVery good selection of Spanish-related food items in first floor food court
Little Spain contains a very good selection of Spanish-related food items in first floor food court of the Hudson Yards shopping mall. I ate in the sit-down diner (very good calamari & chocolate cake); there are other bar area with tamps and other specialty items. A good choice if you miss some Spanish cuisine.
Be the first to ReplyInteresting Small Market
This is a market with a few things to buy to take home. But mostly it's a place to sit and have a drink or a few small bites, all Spanish products. I think it's a pleasant place and unique. Worth a visit.

If you have had good tapas before, this spot will be a huge letdown. I have been to Josรฉ Andrรฉs's Jaleo in DC, which is outstanding, as well as other excellent tapas restaurants in other cities. I really expected and wanted to love this place. Its location at the Hudson Yards and the ambiance seemed so promising. Alas, overall it felt like a tourist trap. The food was probably 2.5/5. I realize waitstaff in NYC is not chipper or artificially friendly, but these waiters were just short of rude. Bottom line: Do not waste your money or time here.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointed with mhnvisit
Half of the food spots are closed, maybe still recovering from the Covid mess. We ended up dining at a place called Spanish diner, we had to wait for about 45 min for a table for 3. The service was slow, cordial but slow, they did not have 2 of the dishes that we wanted to try. The food was just OK. Sangria was totally subpar.
Try this place as part of your visit to Hudson yards for the experience only. The one saving grace is the Churro place, I would come back just for these.
Overpriced and mediocre service at the outside restaurant
The Gazpacho came in plastic cups and was not impressive. The tapas were not available. Restaurant charged drinks which werenโt served. We were under the impression to have stranded in an overpriced tourist trap. Not recommended.
